Chapter 2: The first detention
Early the next morning the entire dorm was woken to a blood-curdling scream from the girls' dormitory, the screaming continued for several minutes both Bill Weasley and Skylar, and Harry Potter spring out of their beds and run to the origin point of the scream To find it was Elisa, she still seemed to be asleep, although she was drenched in sweat. It was clear she was having a night terror, Skylar gently tries to wake her without startling her too much "MOM!" Elisa yells shooting up in bed panting and visibly shaking
"Elisa are you alright?" Skylar says
"Yes….no….I don't know" Elisa says reaching to the bedside table where she had a picture of a beautiful blonde woman and a man Skylar recognized. This man had sandy blonde hair and scars all over his face, he had a kind smile and he held Elisa in the picture. The man's name was Remus Lupin. The blonde woman, Elisa's mother held a small red-headed boy.
"Hey that's Uncle Mooney," Skylar says
"That's my Godfather," Elisa says
"He was one of my parents best mates," Skylar says "What are the chances crazy how these things work out"
"He always said I looked like my father," Elisa says
"Yeah I remember him saying that about me with my mum," Skylar says "He said my twin brother looked like dad but with mums eyes and I was the exact opposite 'cept my hair"
"Until my mother forcibly dyed my hair, I was a carbon copy of my father," Elisa says looking down at the picture"
"What about your twin?" Skylar asks curiously
"Onyx looked like Mom did," Elisa says
"Wow that's crazy how much you guys have in common" Harry says
"I wish I could see him," Elisa says
"Why can't you?" Harry says not understanding
"Voldemort," Elisa says
"Elisa don't say his name" Bill warns
"It's just a name," Elisa says with clenched teeth
"There are those who have a different theory, so please Elisa just don't say you know who's name around the other students," Bill says
"Fine, I'll call him Riddle," Elisa says
"Hey what's that" Harry asks as he sees Skylar pull out a photo album from under her bed
"Oh um just a picture album my parents made and Professor Mcgonagall gave me," Skylar says
"I'm going for a walk," Elisa says grabbing a mirror and walking to the common room
"Wait Elisa it isn't morning yet and what is the mirror for?" Bill says
"I never said I was leaving the common room," Elisa says ignoring the second part of the question as she sat down in front of the fireplace. A few moments later Bill heard her talking to someone
"Don't worry Padslet, it's going to be alright" A voice of an older man says
"I miss them," Elisa says "So does Willow and Lastor"
"So can I see your pictures?" Harry asks Skylar
"Um sure I guess," Skylar says showing him the first page which has a picture of their family all four of them
"Hey that man looks kinda like me and you do look like that woman," Harry says
"That is because we are your parents Harry," the man in the picture says
"Woah," Harry says looking at Skylar
"Dad I was going to wait to tell him until a little later so I did not overwhelm him but oh well I guess," Skylar says and all of a sudden Harry hugs Skylar
"Let's go downstairs and talk sissy," Harry says excitedly, they head downstairs and sit in front of the couch, Elisa was in front of them sitting directly in front of the fireplace.
"I know padslet, I know. But there is no getting them back" The voice of Remus lupin said from Elisa's mirror
"Can we look at more pictures?" Harry asks
"Yeah," Skylar says opening the book to a page with an individual picture of James and Lily
"Mooney, what happened to my Daddy?" Elisa asked the mirror "Dad won't tell me the truth. Will you tell me?"
"Boy that girl looks a lot like my best mate, I wonder," the picture of James says after seeing Elisa
"Your father betrayed his best friend, he allowed Voldemort to get to their house. He was the secret keeper of the Fidelius charm. After that, he killed 13 muggles before he was caught. He now stays in Azkaban so he can never hurt anyone again" The voice says
"What do you mean Daddy," Skylar asks James in the photo
"Nothing pumpkin I must be mistaken there is no way she is who I thought she was," the picture of James says
"Hi Skylar," Elisa said turning to face them, her purple eyes shining with the same gleam Sirius's always did, she had his signature grin as well
"Hi Elisa, Hi uncle Mooney," Skylar says, she looks into the mirror and the picture of James can see Mooney in the mirror
"Hello Skylar," Remus said from the mirror. "Shouldn't you be in bed?"
"I'm always up at this time this time last year I would have been patrolling the halls with the teachers," Skylar says
"If you say so, Elisa, you know that thing I told you about right," Remus says
"Mooney is this girl who I think she is?" The picture of James says
"Yes," Remus says "she's his"
" Does she know?" James's picture asks
"No," Remus says
"When you going to tell her?" the picture asks
"When Severus and I deem she is ready to know," Remus says
"What you are hanging with Snivellus now? You went downhill since I died Mooney old friend" The picture says
"He is her guardian, it was Diana's will," Remus says "I will do what I must to see my goddaughter, and if that means being around Severus, I will do just that"
"Come on Mooney call him Snivellus for old times sake" The picture laughs
"No no, Mooney no call Dadbad name," Elisa says
"Don't worry padslet, I won't" Remus says
"Dad that's enough from you," Skylar says
"Yes Prongs that is quite enough for one day" the picture of Lily chimes in
"Mooney where is the thing we talked about?" Elisa asks
"Get detention with Filch, it will be in his cabinet labeled confiscated," Remus says
"Hey how much trouble do you think I would get in if I called professor Snape Snivellus Uncle Mooney," Skylar asks
"NO! NO!" Elisa shrieks "NO MEAN TOO DAD"
"Fine but if he is mean to me or my brother I am calling him that," Skylar says
"What's the quickest way to get detention with filch?" Elisa asks
" Follow me I'll show you," Skylar says as she grabs a small oddly shaped stone out of her cloak and heads for the door
"How mad will Bill be?" Elisa asks following
"Goodluck Padslet, call me when you get the item," Remus says and his picture vanishes from the mirror
"It's not Bill we need to worry about now come on," Skylar says
"Who cares," Elisa says happily following Skylar
"I'll cover for you guys," Harry says
"Thanks, Harry," Elisa says
"Hurry up Elisa," Skylar says
"I'm right behind you," Elisa says as they exit the room "Okay, make sure Harry reads over his potion book. Knowing Dad he's going to quiz him" Elisa says when Harry is no longer in earshot
"He'll probably quiz me too and don't worry I have a potion for Harry that will make him be able to handle any potions questions, or anything else thrown at him, at least until the effects wear off," Skylar says pulling out a small vial of clear liquid " Now come on we have to get near the Library quick without being spotted that's where Filch will be"
"I made him promise he could only Quiz one potter," Elisa says "and you don't have to get caught if you don't want to," Elisa says
"No trust me I want to he has something that belonged to my dad and I want it back," Skylar says
"Really, he has something that belonged to my daddy too," Elisa says
"Look out quick duck in here," Skylar says going into an empty broom closet after hearing a teacher's footsteps and pulls Elisa by her shirt in with her, the teacher passes by and after a few moments they are back in the hall " Phew that was a close one"
"I also got a little present for Filch," Elisa says holding out something round like a ball
"Me too," Skylar says holding out a box of curse candies like fever fudge
"This is a tampered dung bomb. A glitter dung bomb" Esa says
"Just make sure we are nowhere nearby when it goes off," Skylar says " Ah finally the Library, now where is that stupid cat" she looks around for Misses Norris, "There you are" she picks her up " Alright do you want to shave her or dye her fur pink?"
"Oh yeah," Elisa says
"Which one?" Skylar says " or we could do half and half up to you"
"Let's leave her with a mohawk and dye her rainbow," Elisa says
"I am so in on the dying part, do you know the shave spell yet?" Skylar asks "if not I can do that part and you can dye her, but we gotta hurry before Filch comes out of the Library"
"I only know a few spells, Lumos, Wingardium Leviosa, and the rum spell," Elisa says
"Alright I'll do it then but we both take credit for it deal?" Skylar says
"Deal, let's add some glitter too," Elisa says pulling out a bottle of glitter
"Ok but not near her face I don't want to hurt her," Skylar says
"Same" Elisa says "I'll glitter her last"
"Shvierta furitera," Skylar says and the cat is shaved except for a mohawk of hair going down her back "Reinbowesita furitera" and the mohawk turns rainbow
"And now for the glitter," Elisa says covering the cat's backside with silver and gold glitter
"Oh she kinda looks pretty," Skylar says
"Now what?" Elisa says
"Now we let her run back to her master and the rest will follow," Skylar says putting the cat down, the cat bolts to the library, and she and Mr. Filch are at the door in seconds "Oops"
"Oops indeed, Miss Potter, Miss Phoenix, did you do this to my cat?" Filch says
"Maybe," Elisa says "isn't she pretty?"
"Maybe not, We will never tell but she looks better this way," Skylar says acting all innocent
"Four nights detention and you will be fixing her," Filch says taking the girls by the collars of their shirts and dragging them back to the Gryffindor common room " Detention starts tomorrow afternoon when classes finish in my office, I should be taking points from Gryffindor and reporting this to your guardians but I am feeling lenient and forgiving as it is the first night of the school year and you are so young, now stay in your common room until breakfast time" he closes the door and leaves
"Alright we did it now we have 4 chances to get our stuff that he took from our dads," Skylar says grabbing hold of her amulet
"Do you think anyone knew we were gone?" Elisa asks
"No they didn't Bill went back to sleep and no one else cares," Harry says looking up from the photo album
"Wonderful" Elisa says "Maybe we should go back to bed until breakfast. So we aren't tired for our classes"
"You go on ahead Elisa, you too Harry, I am staying up all night I am used to it," Skylar says
"I was gonna sleep in the chair, I like being by fire, it's soothing," Elisa says crawling in the chair. Moments later she was asleep
"Ok I'm probably going to curl up next to the fire with one of my books Accio," Skylar says and her favorite book comes directly to her "Harry go on to bed you need to be alert in the morning"
"OK sis," Harry says but he falls asleep on the couch instead, Skylar covers both her brother and her new friend with blankets and sits by the fire, and reads.
Meanwhile with Wyx...
"So these woods are Barron aside from spirits odd typically there are animals here," Wyx says as he sits in the dark forest as he sits a spirit wonders throw the woods humming Veni, Veni, Emmanuel a hymn Wyx recognized "Veni, Veni, Emmanuel good old song las," he says addressing the spirit dressed in old Anglo Saxon era attire
"so seemeth coequal a beast can hasn't valorous gust in music," the spirit says with an accent long forgotten as she floats next to Wyx
"And seems someone speaks with the old tongue care to talk a while?" Wyx says as the spirit sits next to him a moment later cocking an eyebrow noticing the Gryffindor logo on his clothing
"so thy a wizard then careth to learn a few secrets those gents shall not teachest thee at yond school?" the women says sitting next to him she takes and smiles seeming kind but there is a darkness about her
"If you give your name first las," Wyx says
"Mine own nameth is morgan le fay young one," Morgan says with a smile
"So Morgen what is your plan I am not good with your English magic's and I really don't care for this school"
"thy a warrior art thee not so with yond thee ill needeth a sword to matcheth thy power I knoweth where one rests," Morgan says with a smile "the blade of fire clarent," she says
"Hum sounds about like me," Wyx says a fire forming in his hands
"but beware the guardeth of t wilds the blade of ice the twin to thy goal, Excalibur beest did warn the guardeth the lady shall square thee tooth and naileth I give you luck young one," Morgen says as she stands up
"And if I take both swords?"Wyx asks
"if 't be true thee taketh both thee shall be unstoppable in the battleth of blades but the blade Excalibur shall bringeth thee nothing but sorrow but thee hasn't a darkness in thy heart I shall trusteth thy choice but keepeth this book with thee," Morgan says "it'll cometh in handy later"
"Alright," Wyx says and then swats his neck from feeling a burning sensation after taking the book from Morgan what he didn't realize is she had marked him with her name binding her soul to Wyx allowing her to influence him when she wishes as she vanishes upon Wyx reaching a cave that leads under the waters of a dark lake
"Halt child these waters have nothing for you," a female voice says
"It has Clarent does it not?"Wyx says walking toward the water where a sword sits on a stone
"I won't allow you to take this blade," the women say drawing a sword with a gold hilt
"And if I don't?"Wyx says
"Than I'll have to slay you" she yells shooting at Wyx who sidesteps her and grabs her hand and with a dark smile his eyes glaze over and he twists the blade decapitating the women of the lake as he walks toward Clarent Wyx takes back over grabbing Excalibur and than Clarent putting each of them in their scabbards and putting them on his back as he turns to walk back he hears the voice of the lady of the lake
"Wo to you for only pain will follow you" the lady of the lakes head says as she melds into the water and Wyx leaves heading toward Hogwarts the sun just breaking dawn as he arrives he is not greeted nor is there anyone in the entrance at that point Wyx walks throws the school until he finds the Gryffindor dorm room where he walks into the fireplace and sits down the swords being placed in the floor for safety as he sleeps.
