AN: The updates probably will slow down a bit. I'm still working on my other wips and I hope to continue posting some of them. But I hope you like the chapter and let me know what you hope to see in the rest of the story. The story is plotted out but not completly written. There is a bit of Weasley Bashing in the end of the chapter. Hope you enjoy!

Hermione was still resting in the hospital bed. They had loosened her cuffs but had decided to air on the side of caution. Hermione was feeling lost. After Tony had shown he had her wand she had managed to convince them to give her wand. But it did nothing. It didn't spark or fill her up with a warm feeling, not even a fizzle. Hermione felt lost.

Her wand had been her constant companion since she'd been eleven. In the last six isolated years her wand had given her hope to carry on. It always reminded her that she was capable of great things and suddenly it stopped working. Hermione felt her magic crackle at her fingers and had to make sure that she would ask Wanda for help with her magic. Maybe her magic would manifest in another way here. Hermione looked up to the ceiling. She didn't mind staying in the hospital wing but she felt lonely. Since she's been awake the avengers had been too busy to 'guard' her but that also meant she didn't have any conversation for the last two days.

Hermione slipped her hands through the cuffs and swung her legs over the edge of the bed, sitting up. She still felt dizzy but she decided that since Tony's screen was close to her bed she would see what this world was about.

"So come on what do we think about the Granger girl?" Tony asked, pouring himself a tumbler of whiskey.

"I think she'll be able to help us." Wanda said softly. "She's like most of us, lost and alone. We found family in each other so maybe she's just another part of this puzzle?"

Loki rolled his eyes. "Are we just going to trust a witch?"

Wanda looked at Loki. "Excuse me?"

Loki looked at her with one eyebrow raised. "Should I feel threatened?"

Wanda stood up. "I think we should at least give her a chance. If she really wanted to she could have blasted all of us into the sky without us realizing. She's on our side. She's lost." Before Wanda could continue, Friday sounded the alarm.

"Sir. She's out of bed."

Tony turned towards one of his screens. "Show me."

There was a clip of Hermione stumbling out of her bed and walking towards one of Tony's systems.

"I told you we couldn't trust her." Loki yelled.

The rest was making agreeing sounds. "Wait a second." Wanda said before pointing to the screen.

Hermione had found the internet and ticked opened Youtube. She put on something and shuffled back to her bed. "See."

"Friday what has she done?" Tony asked.

"She put on a very sad playlist and if I'm not mistaken sir, she is curling in on herself. Do you require a status update?" Friday's computer voice sounded in the meeting room.

"No that's ok Friday." Tony said, looking at the other avengers. "Friday?"

"Yes sir." Friday answered.

"Can you call doctor Strange? Tell him it's urgent."

"Calling Doctor Strange."

Hermione was laying on her side, her back towards the door. Every instinct in her told her that was a bad idea but her magic wasn't really cooperating so it didn't really matter if she was vigilant or not. The music in this world wasn't really the same. Songs Hermione had loved as a child had never existed here or another artist had made them. It was so confusing. Everything looked and sounded the same but the details were off. Magic was feared here as much in her universe.

The look on Loki and Thor when they called her a witch had made her angry. They had looked at her like she was a rodent they were disgusted by. The only one that wasn't openly hostile was Wanda and Bucky… Bucky. Hermione sighed. The one she apparently switched worlds for. When she wished that Bucky could protect her, this wasn't what she had in mind.

The sound of the door opening, made Hermione turn around. Wanda and Tony escorted another man into the room. 'Doctor Strange if I remember correctly.'

"Hermione this is Doctor Strange. Me and him are going to examine you." Wanda said softly.

"Make sure I'm safe for everyone to be around." Hermione said, her voice sounded small and wounded. "Can I ask a favour than from you Doctor Strange?"

Doctor Strange looked at her. "Depends on the favour."

"I want to know what happened in my universe. Can you show me that?"

Doctor Strange slowly nodded his head and sat down next to her bed. Hermione slid down and laid back on the matrass. "I'm ready."

First was Wanda. Her touch felt like a cool summer's breeze as she poked at Hermione's memories. She saw everything. The loving parents Hermione had when she was little, the bullying she had to endure and then the Hogwarts letter. The fighting for her life and Wanda stopped as she came to the scene of her torture. Wanda retreated temporarily. "It's ok Wanda. You can look, but please don't tell them. I don't want nor need their pity."

Wanda continued and watched the torture in Malfoy Manor unfold. Hermione started twitching, reliving the torture. Wanda continued through the war and felt as if a weight was lifted of her shoulders when the war ended until she saw what had happened to Harry. Voldemort had fallen down and Harry was still standing. The memory of watching Harry just collapse had been hard for Wanda to watch. Hermione had driven herself almost mad with searching for the why until it all made sense. The Weasleys were the ones to inherit Harry's fortune. Hermione hadn't been able to prove anything for years until she heard Ginny boast about all the money and fame she had gained for making sure her boyfriend died at the right moment.

It had driven Hermione further into the muggle world. Wanda saw the desperation for company and the desire for a family. She saw the last terrifying moments before Hermione collapsed through the roof and Wanda slowly retreated.

Hermione looked at Wanda and gave her a soft smile. Hermione turned her head towards Doctor Strange as he stood. "Anything I need to do Doctor?"

He shook his hand and conjured energy balls into his palms. He hovered his hands over her body. He felt a lot of magical energy in her head and slowly moved his hands. Around her sternum he felt angry energy, almost evil. He looked at her.

"Scar." Hermione said without any emotion.

He nodded and slowly worked his way down. He was surprised it went on that long. He did her right arm and went down her left before he stopped again at her lower arm. "Another one?" He asked. Hermione nodded but didn't elaborate. He slowly worked his way down her legs and sat down next to her again. He nodded towards Tony and Tony excited the room.

"Tell me Miss Granger. Why do you want to know what happened in your universe?" Doctor Strange asked.

"People who I thought were my family betrayed me and I want to know why."

Doctor Strange nodded his head and made a circular motion with his hands. It felt like the image of a television. It started out with static but became clearer.

They were at the Burrow. Molly was pacing about and yelling at Ron and Ginny. "How could you two be so stupid? I had everything under control."

Ginny interrupted her. "Does it matter? Hermione is gone. The aurors told us."

"And who were the aurors that were going to bring her in?" Molly asked, her hands on her hips.

"It was Michael and…" Ginny answered.

"Michael? The one that has been in a relationship with you for less than three months and has already cheated on you twice?"

"Mom, that has nothing to do with this."

"Ginny." Molly shouted. "Use your brain. If Granger is still alive what happened to Harry will eventually come to light. Why did you think I was going to send the aurors there to book her in?"

"What did you tell them?" Ron asked, stuffing his face.

"That she attempted to commit line theft. But I would have slipped her potion as she waited in the holding cell. There are still people in the Ministry that are easily to manipulate." Molly said, whipping off her hands at her apron. "Let's hope for you two that she is indeed gone."

Hermione leaned back against the pillows. "Thank you."

Doctor Strange looked at her, pity in his eyes. "Miss Granger…"

"I said thank you Doctor Strange. I don't want to talk about it right now." Hermione pulled the blanket up to her again. "Please close the door behind you as you leave." Hermione turned on her side once again, her back towards the door.

AN: I know people will find Hermione too emotional in this chapter but still I would also cry if I got yanked out of my own world and find out that people I once thought off as family no matter how estranged we are, betrayed me.
