"𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐌 𝐃𝐈𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓,"

Nejire nudged at the princess' side with an annoying smirk. As Mirio had promised the other day, he brought the princess with her trusty handmaiden down to the training grounds that the knights who weren't on duty would occupy themselves in. He did this in order for the princess to have a better understanding of using her quirk. He promised that after training with some of his friends, he would allow her to come up and let her work on her own stuff. He even promised to give her some of the best tips.

The princess' ears perked at the sound of Nejire's playful tone. Her head snapped around in order to face the girl with a puzzled look, "How so?"

She put on an innocent face as she leaned back with a simple shrug, "You seemed pretty eager to see Mirio today. Are you finally starting to like him?"

As her eyes rolled, the princess scoffed, "Of course not! Togata just has some valuable assets that I want to take advantage of."

Her handmaiden giggled, "Whatever you say, princess!"

She refused to look Nejire in the eyes knowing that she'd be able to see through her lie. She could lie to others, but not to herself. Mirio was like a small seed that had been planted in her mind and was slowly starting to grow into a small bud. While she still found the guard excessively annoying with his corny jokes and nonstop talking, there was still a part of him that drew her to him. Maybe it was just from being around him all the time or maybe it was just because she was starting to realize that the small bud wasn't so bad after all.

The bud that contained his warm and inviting smile, his sweet words, his sky trapped eyes, his poofy hair, and his charming voice...

Oh god, what was she thinking?

Nejire wasn't the only one who had teased her about her sudden change in attitude either. Her father had noticed the change as well. He brought it up over dinner the other night by asking why she hadn't inquired about Mirio's job status. She told him the same thing she had just told Nejire and it almost made him burst into laughter. He could see right through his own daughter.

Out in the field Mirio chatted with two other males that seemed to be around his age. One she had seen a few times before and the other she was just now seeing for the first time.

The one she was familiar with always made her ponder why he was a knight. His slouched stature and nervous eyes made her worry about what he was like on the battlefield or even if he was allowed on the battlefield. The front of his indigo hair hung down flat in front of his eyes while the back of his hair was pushed back. His ears were long and pointy almost resembling a bunny's laid back ears.

The other one she hadn't seen before seemed a bit more excited than the other male. His smile was big, but there was a slight nerve in his step that was a dead giveaway that he was just starting out as a knight. His green locks curled out of his head as his big eyes matched the color green.

All three of the men were wearing simple training uniforms which were just simple clothes with leather armor on top for protection. They all carried wooden swords giving a signal to the princess that she might also witness a sword fight. She could see under their sleeves that each of them were built in their own way making her more curious about how this battle would end.

Mirio turned his head towards the two women who stood against the back wall waiting eagerly to watch the fight. His smile spread across his face making the princess' eyes dart the other way so she wouldn't have to look at it. He then turned his whole body around and came towards the two excitedly.

"Princess!" She mentally groaned as he came face to face with her. "I was worried that you might leave while I was explaining what I wanted to do today, but I'm glad you stayed." She only hummed a response. "Well anyway, Tamaki, Midoriya, and I are just going to do a few practice rounds and then once they leave me and you can do a little work. Don't worry, they only know that you want to practice a few moves, they aren't aware of your problem."

The princess felt a little relieved that he wasn't going around telling everyone that she can't use her quirk properly, but she didn't like that fact that he knew about it in the first place. Though his words still rang in her head every now and again.

"I can see the determination in your eyes when you talk about your quirk and I believe that makes you the strongest out of all of us."

"Thank you for letting me know," She mumbled as he started to walk back towards his friends. "Togata," She didn't know what compelled her to call out his name and stop him, but maybe it was just something telling her to start being nice back, "don't embarrass yourself by losing, okay?"

His oddly shaped eyes widened with the surprise that came with her words, but he quickly relaxed with his bright smile once more, "I won't let you down princess!" Her words sent waves of confidence within him and he was ready now more than ever to have some fun with training.

For the next few minutes the princess and Nejire were able to witness a heartfelt training session. The timid boy had almost changed to a whole different persona when he was fighting. His quirk made her wonder just exactly what it was. It was a transfiguration of some sort seeing as how his arms or legs would turn into wings or bird legs. He would often comment about how chicken was the only thing he ate this morning so there wasn't much to work with, which only made her more confused on just what exactly his quirk was.

The other boy stood out with his hand to hand combat. His punches certainly packed some strength to them, but she could tell that he was struggling with the amount of strength he was letting out of his arms. He was more flimsy when it came to his sword showing that he was better with using his body in battle instead of weapons.

Then there was Mirio. Maybe she was being biased, but he was so graceful on the battlefield. He was able to fight back against Midoriya's hand to hand combat while also being able to withstand Tamaki's confusing transformation quirk. His sword technique seemed effortless and she was now finally understanding why her father had picked Mirio to be her guard. Each move would send shivers down her body and she was damned for thinking it but he was attractive when fighting with his friends. His smile never faltered and he was having fun with the battle. She just prayed he went easy on her when showing her some moves.

One thing she took note of though was that he hadn't used his quirk yet and she couldn't seem to figure out why. In fact she had never seen Mirio's quirk in action yet.

In a quick move, Mirio swung his leg under Midoriya's feet causing him to plummet towards the ground meaning that he was out of battle. The princess couldn't contain her excited gasp as the battle had put her on the edge of her seat.

Mirio heard her gasp and brought his eyes away from his last opponent Tamaki. His sweat dripping face still managed to pull off a full energized smile, "Did you see that princess?"

As she was about to just throw a backhanded comment to avoid being nice again, Tamaki had used the moment that Mirio was distracted to try and attack him. It was by pure instinct, but she had to warn him, "Togata, look out!"

After her warning, she quickly slapped her hands over her mouth to avoid any further intrusion of the battle, but luckily Mirio had gotten the message. His eyes were quickly back on the battle and he could see that Tamaki was coming towards him with his sword pointed right at his chest. If Mirio was touched with the tip of that sword, he would lose the battle.

Tamaki thought for sure he had Mirio, but before he knew it he was phasing right through his best friend. Mirio had finally used his quirk the first time in battle. Tamaki was taken by such a surprise, since he had thought that he wasn't going to use it for sure, that after he had completely gone through Mirio, he went straight to the ground.

The victor stood proud and was ready to be greeted with the princess' happy smile since he had won for her, but instead he was given her mortified face instead. He raised an eyebrow, but after feeling a cool breeze cool by down below he knew exactly what had happened.

Mirio's quirk had made his clothes completely slide off of him giving the poor princess and Nejire a glimpse of his free willy.

The princess' face grew hot with embarrassment as she picked the skirt of her dress up ready to leave, "Damn you, Togata!"

As her feet hit the marble floor in a fit of rage, Mirio tried to chase after her still being stark naked, "Wait princess! I promise this isn't what I meant when I said I wanted to give you some tips!"
