A.N. ALL RIGHT HERE IS THE NEXT CHAPTER OF THE REBOOT HOPE EVERYONE LIKES IT
The return to Hogwarts Castle took a bit of time due to the fact that when Teme saw the green flames bursting out of the fireplace he flew off in the opposite direction. Naruto and Dumbledore had to spend the better part of 10 minutes tracking him down. Till finally Naruto just grabbed the mad raven and took it to the back of the pub.
"Just meet me at Hogwarts Téme, you understand." Naruto out after he had released the bird and watched it start to fly high into the air. "HOGWARTS!" With that out of the way Naruto stepped back inside the pub and when through the floor.
"Well my boy, I believe that was quite a lot of excitement for one day. Now I do believe dinner time is quickly approaching." Said Dumbledore after they went through the floo network and stepped back into his office.
"Yeah I'm starving." Naruto said as he followed the headmaster out of his office and they made their way to the Great Hall.
"Why I do believe you might get an opportunity to meet some of the other Hogwarts teachers." Dumbledore said as they moved down the corridors and staircases. Naruto was admiring all the many magical paintings when a thought had just occurred to him.
"Hey, Dumbledore, this is a school right? So do all the teachers live in the castle?" He wondered out loud.
"As a matter of fact most do not. You see we are currently in the summer holiday so apart for myself and perhaps a few teachers who drop by to do some prep work the castle typically remains empty. However once classes are due to start the teachers move back into the castle. At the moment the new school year is only a months away so many of the teachers have already started to return get their lesson plans ready." Dumbledore answered him happily as they entered the Great Hall. Just like before Naruto saw that all the for long tables were empty but the farthest table at the very end was all decked out with an assortment of foods but this time he saw that they were a few new people there.
The first person Naruto noticed was a big beefy man who was sitting down but still reached well over the others at the table. His face was almost completely hid by a mane of long shaggy hair and a thick tangled beard but Naruto could still see his eyes which glinted like black beetles under all his hair. Next to the giant man was tall black haired witch in emerald green robes in deep conversation with another wizard. From the look of her very stern face Naruto could tell she was a teacher just like Iruka, not someone to cross. The last person at the table was a wizard in black robes with greasy black hair a hooked nose and sallow skin. Just like the witch in green this man also had the look of someone you don't want to mess with.
"Who's that you got with you professor Dumbledore?" asked the giant man once they had finally reached the staff table, the other two also looked up at them.
"This Hagrid is Naruto Uzumaki, Hogwarts newest Gryffindor and he will be starting at Hogwarts this coming term." Dumbledore said happily as Naruto smiled at the the now named giant.
"Naruto these are some of the finest teachers Hogwarts has to offer. This is Minerva McGonagall your head of house and the transfiguration professor. That is our new care of magical creature's instructor Rubies Hagrid. Finally is our potions master Severus Snape who is head of Slytherin house." Dumbledore finished his introductions
"Hello, nice to meet you." Naruto called out to them excitedly. Hagrid and McGonagall both smiled at him and welcomed him to the school. Snape however didn't share in their warm hospitality.
"Headmaster what is the meaning of this the boy is clearly too old to be a first year and none of us where told of a transfer student coming to Hogwarts." said Snape as Dumbledore and Naruto moved around the table and started to eat.
"Yes, well you see young Naruto here is a special circumstance now if you excuse me, we have had and eventful day in Diagon Alley and this roosted potato does look good" said Dumbledore as he completely blow off the question which didn't go unnoticed by McGonagall and Snape.
"Dumbledore this it's amazing." said Naruto through a mouth full of food as he shoved some cooked meat into his face. The other adults at the table besides Dumbledore look on at the blond teen each wondering who the boy could eat so much.
"So Nar'to how was y'er day." Asked Hagrid as he got back to eating his meal. Naruto was a bit surprised that someone actually wanted to know how he was doing.
"It was great, um... Professor Hagrid old man Dumbledore went shopping for my school stuff." And Naruto quickly jumping into a rundown about his day in Diagon Alley. Dumbledore just gave a light laugh while the others looked on in disbelief that the blonde teen had called the headmaster old man.
"Call me Hagrid and y'ur shouldn't call professor Dumbledore that." Hagrid said never one to stand by and let anyone insulted Albus Dumbledore. However this only confused Naruto.
"But why not he's so old, look at him." Naruto said as he turned to get a closer look at the headmaster.
"I'm afraid Naruto is correct I am indeed an old man." Dumbledore admitted with a twinkle in his eyes and a small smile on his face.
"Another disrespectful Gryffindor, just what this school needs another Potter." Snape said with a sneer.
"Who's that?" Naruto asked not knowing who Snape was talking about.
"Is he a muggle born then Albus?" McGonagall asked. Dumbledore was about to answer when Naruto cut him off.
"What's a muggle born?" This indeed got some reactions from the table as the school staff were now starting to wonder who the teen was really.
"There will be time for such questions but for now let us enjoy this wonderful meal." Dumbledore said leaving no room for discussion. And for a time they all eat there food in peace with Naruto asking Hagrid about the school.
"Another excellent meal" said Dumbledore about an hour after they had sat down to eat. "Minerva, Severus if you two could kindly join me in my office, I believe you have some questions about Mr. Uzumaki." said Dumbledore after Hagrid had excused himself from the table. Naruto walked behind them as they left the Great Hall and head back up the marble stair case once more. They moved through the castle till they reached the stone gargoyle that guard the way to the headmaster's office. Saying the password the climbed the stone spiral staircase and entered the office.
"Now then I believe the best way to do this would be to have Naruto go first." Said Dumbledore as he sat behind his desk. Meanwhile McDougall and Snape sat in front of the desk, leaving Naruto to stand. That is till Dumbledore conjured him a chair of his own. "I have already asked you these questions Naruto, but I would like if you could tell us how you arrived in Hogwarts."
"Yeah sure. . .no problem." said Naruto and just like with Dumbledore, he started to retell his story and the events that lead to him showing up inside Hogwarts castle. They didn't interrupt him just like with Dumbledore they didn't speak while he told his story. Once he was done Naruto could tell that they were having a hard time believing him.
"Headmaster this is preposterous the boy is clearly lying." Snape said not bothering to hide his disbelief. "Other world what nonsense."
"Perhaps Albus, the boy does have a talent for magic but i must agree with Severus as well." McGonagall said.
"Hey I'm not lying." shouted Naruto angrily at the two adults. McGonagall was taken aback by his sudden outburst of rage, while Snape only raised and eyebrow at him.
"Perhaps Naruto, what Minerva and Severus need is irrefutable proof." Said Dumbledore as he tried to calm the blond boy down. He then pulled out his wand. " I want there to be no doubt in anyone's mind about you Naruto. With your permission I would like to extract a memory from your mind."
"Albus there must be another way." Said Minerva uncomfortable with the idea of looking into a students mind. "Surely this is getting out of hand." Snape however didn't seem to have any qualms about the whole situation.
"I'll do it. What do I have to do." Naruto said cutting off anything McGonagall was going to say next.
"All you need to do is focus on that happened on the bridge, you mind must not wonder in the slightly from the day on the bridge." Dumbledore explained.
"Alright I think I got it." Naruto said as he closed his eyes and focused on the battle on the bridge." Finally receiving a nod from Naruto, Dumbledore moved the tip.of his wand and touched the center of the blonde teen's forehead. Naruto flinched the moment the wand made contact with his skin thinking this would involve pain. However he was surprised when he felt something like a warm breeze. Once the wand was lifted from his forehead Naruto saw that Dumbledore had pulled what looked like a silvery wisp that resembled a puff of cloud with the tip of his wand.
"Is that my memory?" Naruto asked having some idea of what the thing was.
"Correct with the use of a pensieve we will be able to see your memory." Dumbledore said as he stepped towards on of the cabinets of his office. Opening it wide Naruto got his first look at penseive. It had the appearance of a shallow stone or metal basin, into which runes and strange symbols were carved and precious stones were fitted. It was filled with a silvery substance that appears to be a cloudy liquid/gas.
"We will return in a moment Naruto, please help yourself to some lemon drops." Dumbledore said as he inclined his head towards the candy dish that sat atop his desk. And before Naruto could asked what he meant all three adults stood around the pensieve. One by one they each in leaned forward till their faces were just above the surface of the pensieve.
"Whaaaa!" Naruto called out in shock when the three adults suddenly vanished from the office. He rushed over to the pensieve and looking down only saw it's liquid/gas swirling surface. Not knowing what else to do Naruto walked back to the desk and started to eat some of the candy. "Whoa. . . that's good." It was indeed a very sour little candy but after a few seconds it gave way to a very pleasant lemon taste. A few minutes late there was a sound of rushing wind and the three adults were back in the room.
Dumbledore how had a sad look on his face made his back back to his chair, there was no twinkle in his eyes. McGonagall look to be slightly pale as if she sat down in her chair. Snape on the other hand remain emotionless chose to stand beside the pensieve taking a seat. Naruto didn't know if he should be happy or not I'm the one hand it was obvious enough to him that they now believe his story. On the other hand you did not wish for them to see him different.
"Now I'm not sure of the reason why Naruto ended up in this world, but he was able to attain a wand so he has the right to attend it so, Minerva I would like you to take this schools newest member of Gryffindor house to his new home. Severus there is something we must discuss" Minerva looked as if she wanted to argue this but thought better of it realizing she could just come back and talk to the headmaster.
"Very well Albus, come along Mr. Uzumaki let's get you to Gryffindor Tower." McGonagall said as he started to guide Naruto out of the Headmasters office.
"Goodnight old man, Severus see you two later." Naruto called out happily over his shoulder. At the blondes words McGonagall looked ready to give him a telling off for showing such disrespect towards the Headmaster. However Dumbledore let out a little chuckle of amusement before calling back.
"An to you as well young man." McGonagall looked between the two a look if bewilderment clear on her face.
"Really now." She muttered under her breath as they left the office and started down the spiral stone staircase
"I'm sure Professor Dumbledore has made you aware of the school house's rules." McGonagall said after they had reached the main school stairwell.
"Rules?" Naruto answered her as he cocked his head to the side, a puzzled look on his face. At this the she let out a small sigh of frustration.
"Yes Uzumaki, while you are attending this school you will be following it's rules." McGonagall told him sternly. "As the Gryffindor head of house I will not tolerate any rule breaking." Naruto was ready to argue about having to follow rules when he was stopped by the look McGonagall was giving him.
"Fine I'll follow the rules ." Naruto said with a pout before remembering how when he was with Dumbledore in Diagon Alley everyone was friendly. This wasn't the village as much as he missed it. He was now a part of this school, a place where he wouldn't be hated. Satisfied McGonagall proceeded to lay out the do's and don'ts of Hogwarts.
"That's not so bad." Naruto said to himself when he realized all he really had to do was not go out at night, stay out of the forest, pay attention in class and not to start fights.
"This Mr. Uzumaki is the entrance to Gryffindor Tower." McGonagall said once the had come to a stop. Looking past the old witch Naruto saw that they were standing in front of a large portrait of a woman in a large pink dress.
"That's a painting." Naruto said plainly. "No offense lady." He quickly added at the look of indignation from the fat lady.
"Behind the portrait is the Gryffindor common room, but to gain entrance you must know the password Pixie." McGonagall said Naruto watched as the large portrait was swung forward revealing behind it a large stone hole. Following McGonagall through the portrait hole he finally entered the Gryffindor common room.
"Wow." Naruto said amazed that all this was hidden behind the portrait. The common room was a cosy, round room full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. The common room was decorated in several shades of red. At the end of the room he spotted a spiral staircase that led to a landing that overlooked the common room.
"The door to the right is the boys dormitory, now off to bed with you. I will be waiting for you tomorrow morning in the great hall so that we can begin you tutoring." McGonagall said as he turned to leave the common room but stopped halfway through the portrait whole. "I also expect you to have removed those ridiculous markings off your face by then."
"These aren't markings their my whiskers." Naruto said as he pulled at his cheeks. "I was born with them."
"We're both of your parents humans." McGonagall asked wondering if the world Naruto came from had interspecies couples like this one.
"I'm pretty sure they're both regular people." Naruto said with a shrug of his shoulders.
"How can you not be sure to either your mother or father have the same markings on their cheeks." McGonagall questioned him not understanding how the boy could not know with his parents were 100% human.
"I don't know what my parents look like I've been an orphan since the day I was born." Naruto said in a small voice has he started to look down at the carpet. At his the answer McGonagall let out a small gasp.
"I am sorry to hear that Mr. Uzumaki, you have my deepest condolences." McGonagall said after she regained some of her composure.
"Haha. . .what's there to be sorry about with no parents around I don't have to worry about anyone giving me rules about staying up late." Naruto said has he put up a brave face and try to make a light of the situation. "Goodnight professor Minerva."
"Y-yes goodnight." Although she saw him smiling something about it just seemed a bit off to her. Not wishing to press the matter anymore she left the Gryffindor common room with the portrait closing behind her. Now left standing alone inside the common room Naruto took a moment to look around. After a few minutes of familiarize himself with everything in the room he finally decided to head up towards his new room.
Naruto moved through the door and found the dormitory at last: it was a circular stone room withsix four-posters hung with deep red, gold curtains. There was a trunk at the foot of one of the beds and opening it up he saw that it was all his things from Diagon Alley. Some how everything had already been brought in to the room. Just then a lot tapping sound was coming from one of the tower window.
"Téme you made it." Naruto said as he undid the latch and let the raven in. Teme flew around the room a few times giving allowed cry before coming to rest the top his truck. Too tired to really think much about how everything got to his room, he pulled on his pajamas and fell into bed. When Naruto finally rested his head on to his pillow and after a few seconds was out like a light. elsewhere in the castle Minerva McGonagall was having some strong word with Albus Dumbledore.
"Albus I don't understand the boy has been raised to be a killer he clearly has a strong magical core, but the life he has had till now. Do you think it wise to have him around the rest of the students?" She asked trying to understand how the man's mind worked at times. The memory of what Naruto hand soon to that poor girl flashed across her mind. Not to mention how he was able to survived having a hole punch through his chest.
"Minerva two years ago Voldemort was living in this school through Quirrell, than last year the Chamber of Secrets was opened by a powerful memory of his younger self sealed away in a old diary and now this." Said Dumbledore as he showed his age and pulling out a copy of today's daily profit there on the front cover in bold letters the headline SIRIUS BLACK ESCAPES AZKABAN
"I fear the enemy is beginning to move." said Dumbledore heavily.
"You don't mean He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named." Said Minerva in a slightly panicked voice.
"We always knew he would return. Grindelwald once believed that it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have come to realize. I found it is the small things, everyday deeds of ordinary folks that keeps the darkness at bay. Simple acts of kindness and love. Why Naruto Uzumaki perhaps it is because I am afraid, and he gives me courage." Said Dumbledore as his mind drifted to Lilly Potter.
The following day found Naruto getting up bright and early. Looking around the room dormitory he saw that Téme was already gone. Stepping into the bathroom he showered and changed into his new Gryffindor house uniform. heading out of the dormitory and through the portrait whole he started to make his way down to the Great hall for breakfast.
Stepping through the doors Naruto saw that the only other person in the Great Hall was Snape. Neither Dumbledore or McGonagall were there yet so with the shrug of his shoulders Naruto decided to just go take a seat at the staff table and start on some breakfast. The whole time he did this Snape was silently staring daggers at him but this seems to go unnoticed by now. Going to the fact that he was too busy piling food onto his place.
"So the old man said your a potions master?what's does that mean that anyway?" Asked Naruto. Snape who at that moment I decided to take a drink of his tea choke slightly.
"Now listen here Uzumaki well in my presence you will refer to the Headmaster by his given name." Snape sneered down at the blonde angrily.
"Oh you mean Albus but why he said I could call him old man." Said Naruto not liking the way Snape was talking to him. It was starting to reminded him Sasuke. It was clear enough to him that's Snape had some kind of problem towards him.
"Professor Dumbledore or Headmaster." Snape said through gritted teeth unable to believe the audacity of the blond teen.
"So you going to tell me what potions is or not." Naruto said glaring back at the man equally not willing to step down.
"Potions is the magical science of combining and creating various elixirs some of which can be beneficial to their user and deadly to his enemies." said Snape completely ignoring what Naruto had said. Naruto stayed silent for a moment try to process everything Snape had just told him.
"So, you're like a magical cook do you know. . . how to make magic cookies." said Naruto set with a foxy grin. Snape was about ready to whip out his wand and hex the blonde team when the doors of the Great Hall open revealing Dumbledore and McGonagall.
"Ah Naruto, Severus it is good to see you through getting along and enjoying the meal together. Dumbledore said with a twinkle in his eye completely ignoring the tension between the two. Once the Headmaster and deputy Headmistress sat down to eat there food a comfortable, we mostly comfortable silence fell over them.
"So Naruto how did you find you first night in Gryffindor Tower." Dumbledore asked as he began to spread marmalade on some toast. Quickly swallowing a month full of food Naruto answered.
"It was great old man, I've never slept on such a comfy bed before." Naruto said with a big smile on his face. " I was wonder something how did all my stuff from Diagon Alley get into my room?"
"Magic." Was Dumbledore's simple answer which despite the role of the ice set his way by Severus this answer is more than enough for Naruto who just looked astonished. Ten minutes later breakfast was done and the staff table was cleared away.
"Come along Mr. Uzumaki we have a month to get you up to snuff before the start of third year." McGonagall said and followed here Naruto wondered what amazing magic spells he would be learning. Magic to Naruto shock was not what he was expecting. There was a lot of reading and studying behind learning the basics of first and second year magic. Luckily for him he did not have to learn history of magic which sounded a very interesting until he learned his teacher was a ghost, herbology, astronomy and to his other disappointment flying on a broom.
"But could I just try it at least once."Naruto found himself asking professor McGonagall halfway through his crash course in transfiguration.
"Absolutely not Mr. Uzumaki. There will be plenty of time for flying brooms in the coming term but right now you do not have time to dawdle now back to yourself." Naruto quickly learned his head of house was a very strict taskmaster however much like Iruka-sensei she was fair. Snape on the other hand did not take kindly to having to spend the month leading up to start of the new term teaching Naruto potions. Hey what have been an unbearable experience had it not been for the fact that Naruto surprisingly good at potion to the dismay of Snape.
"Like I said magical cooking." Naruto said with a smug face which caused snake to toss Naruto out of his dungeon classroom a full 2 hours earlier than the scheduled lesson was to end. It's just so happened to be whenever so wanted. With this extra time and sneaking out of the Gryffindor common room at night. He quickly familiarize himself with the layout of the castle as well as the forbidden Forest occasionally pain Hagrid and his dog Fang a visit from time to time for some of his tasty rock cakes.
His Defense Against the Dark Arts and Charms lessons were taught to him by none other than Dumbledore himself. Which Naruto didn't realize until halfway through the month when he was going over some of the books McGonagall had set him to study that he learned Albus Dumbledore was a pretty big deal in the wizarding world. This only got Naruto more focused on his lessons realizing the Dumbledore was the magic equivalent of a Hokage. Another thing that had Naruto astounded was how much reading and studying he had been doing. If everyone from the Ninja academy could see him now no one would dare to call him a dead last.
This was how Naruto spent his first month at Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry. Every morning he would wake up leave the Gryffindor common room and head out onto the castle grounds for his morning workout after which he would return back to his dormitory to shower and head down to the Great Hall for breakfast. His morning lessons were spent with McGonagall. after lunch he would then be tutored by Dumbledore. Three hours before dinner he would be in the dungeons brewing potions with Snape. And finally dinner which he would have with Dumbledore, McDougall, Hagrid, and occasionally Snape depending on how much or how little Naruto had annoyed him that day. What no one knew was how he would spend his evenings exploring the grounds as well as the castle with Téme by his side.
"It is truly astonishing how much you have been able to master this past month my boy." Dumbledore had said on the last night before the term was due to start.
"Y'ar did it Nar'to." Hagrid congratulated him with a pat on the back which had enough Force that it caused a blonde team to jerk forward in his seat almost spilling his goblet of pumpkin juice.
"Thanks Hagrid."Naruto said after he strained himself up in his chair.
"I quite agree you should be very proud of yourself Mr. Uzumaki." McGonagall said "To have a firm understanding of 2 years worth of magical education in one month is extraordinary." Everyone soon turn to look at Snape who had yet to give Naruto a word of congratulations. Feeling everyone's eyes upon him the potion Master let out sigh as he put his fork and knife down and looked up from his plate of food
"Your potion work was more than adequate compared to the dunderheads I am usually forced to teach."and with his piece said Snape went back to eating his food daring any of them to look at him.
"Haha, you guys see that. I just got a compliment from Snape." Naruto said is he let out a triumphant cry of victory. Everyone chuckled at the blondes antics well almost everyone. And so after dinner was done and Naruto couldn't fit another piece of food in his stomach he left the Great Hall and made his way slowly back to Gryffindor Tower. Giving the fat lady the password he climbed through the portrait hole and made his way up the staircase to the boys dormitory and like always Téme was there waiting for him. Changing into his pajamas he pulled back the curtains of his four poster bed climbed under the sheets and got comfortable.
"This is it Téme, starting tomorrow it's not just going to be you and me and here anymore." The three-eyed Raven gave a loud squawk of acknowledgment before tucking its head under its wing so that it could go to sleep. "Yeah good idea we're going to need our rest for tomorrow."and with that last thought in his mind Naruto had drifted off into sleep a small smile on his face.

All right everybody here's chapter 3 I hope everyone liked Naruto's interaction with the Hogwarts staff. Hope Naruto's start in his magical education was believable for the most part. Also have been getting a lot of Naruto/Hermione request for the official pairing for this reboot fanfic. So so look forward to Narmion? Heruto? What do you call that ship let me know in a review also your ideas and suggestions obviously.
Also got a good idea from a review for Naruto and Bellatrix but not in the way everybody thinks and you'll have to wait until Order the Phoenix.
Also let me know if you want a slow burn for Naruto and Hermione or by the end of the year get together.
