Mineta tries flirting with...
Chapter three: Acidic Meltdown
The audience summoned by Talespinner69 had just finished watching the second episode of a realm where, once per episode, Mineta tries flirting with a different girl in his year of the hero course. So far, Mineta has been shown not only getting creamed in a series of contests by one of the other guys, but also being subjected to all sorts of tortures from a devious little child. To say that Mineta was shown having a hard time would be a bit soft.
"Ha! Looks like Ryukyu's girls are off the table for that little pervert!" Mirko laughed.
"Well at least Mineta apparently survived being attacked by a dragon," Edgeshot commented.
Nodding in understanding, Ryukyu said, "Well the realmcrafter fellow did say that the perverted grape boy wasn't going to get killed at any point."
Sighing, Mineta said, "Well at least I have that as something that I can consider as a victory for me."
"Hey, who is going to be the next girl that Mineta will try to flirt with?" Izuku asked, sounding and looking honestly curious.
Shrugging, Tale replied, "I can't tell you since that would ruin the surprise."
"You know?" Mineta exclaimed at Tale.
"Well he did previously say that he skimmed the episodes," Kotaro pointed out, "So it would make sense if he knew which episode was coming up next."
Tale nodded in agreement with his summoned assistant. "Indeed, Kotaro."
Clapping and rubbing her hands together, Mina said, "Well I'm hoping that whichever one of us girls is targeted by Mineta next, we're able to kick him to the curb in style!"
Nodding in understanding, Tale replied, "I can see where you're coming from. Anyway, the next episode's about to start."
"I wanna see what the rich girl in Aizawa's class does," Mirko said.
"Personally, I want to see how one of Sekijiro's girls deals with Mineta," Hound Dog remarked as the third episode began to play on the big theater screen.
...
(Mineta tries flirting with Mina Ashido)
"Woohoo! I get to reject Mineta next!" Mina in the audience cheered.
"Hey, maybe I'll get lucky this time!" Mineta shot back.
Gently shaking her head, Mina replied, "Oh, if the me in this realm is like me for real, I very much doubt you'll stand much of a chance."
One day at UA during breakfast, Mineta was sitting with Kaminari, Sero, Kirishima, and oddly enough Bakugo as well. The boys aside from Mineta were eating while Mineta was talking. "So two of the girls in our class are out of the question for me," Mineta began.
"I thought all of them were," Bakugo remarked casually.
"They are," Bakugo in the audience commented.
"Shut up," Mineta said, more annoyed than anything else.
Pointing straight up to the ceiling with his right index finger, Mineta went on, "But I am still determined to get a girl to like me! Thus I'm going after the next girl I have in my sights."
Looking up from his omelet to Mineta, Sero asked, "Who's the unlucky girl this time?"
"None other than the one and only Mina Ashido," Mineta explained, "Since you four guys are seen frequently with Mina in your company, I was hoping you could give me some ideas or advice to help me win her over."
"She's going to blast you in the face with her acid the first chance that she gets, Grape Head," Bakugo replied.
Where she sat in the audience, Mina nodded in agreement as she folded her arms over her chest. "Yeah, that does sound right up my ally."
"It'd be funny if you ended up actually doing it, Pinky," Bakugo remarked.
Sighing in a resigned tone, Mineta said, "What did I do to deserve this?"
"You mean besides the obvious?" Kotaro asked from where he stood in front of the big theater screen with Tale, who gave him a light slap on his right shoulder with the back of his left hand.
Ignoring the boys, Mineta said, "I'm confident that I'll get to enjoy her company by the time that today is over. By the time I return to you gentlemen, I'll have Mina with me as my girl!" With that, the short purple teen took off, leaving Sero and Kaminari looking up from their meals to see Mineta take off.
"Should we warn Mina?" Sero asked as he got up, only to be stopped by Kirishima.
The red haired boy, with a confident smile on his face, replied, "Mina's a big girl, Sero. She can handle herself against Mineta just fine."
"Aww, why thank you Kirishima," Mina in the audience said, looking and sounding touched.
Nodding in understanding, Izuku remarked, "Yeah, it would make sense for Kirishima to say that about you, Mina. The two of you, if I recall correctly, have known one another since the both of you were still in middle school."
"Yeah, we've known one another since then," Kirishima commented with a nod, "Also I can say with complete and total confidence that Mina could easily cover herself in this situation if she had to tango with Mineta."
Sighing again, Mineta said, "Well it's a good thing I'm still set on getting with a girl."
...
Later, Mineta was walking through the halls of UA when he turned a corner, having an idea that he'll soon come across Mina as he heard she wanted to talk to Nejire and Tamaki of the big three to confirm something with them. Soon enough, Mineta rounded a corner and spotted the pink girl speaking with the sempais. He saw Mina hop up and down out while cheering out of some manner of excitement.
"Yeah, Fat Gum can't believe it happened either," Tamaki replied casually before he and Nejire turned around to take off.
Looking confused, Mineta muttered to himself, "What does Fat Gum have to do with Mina being excited? It certainly doesn't look like the senpais are dating so that can't be it." Gently shaking his head, Mineta said to himself, "That can be answered later. Now, I got a pink girl in my sights to try and snag as a date."
"A side mystery involving me?" Fat Gum in the audience remarked in a surprised tone.
"Well since all of the episodes of this show are set in the same single realm rather than each taking place in their own separate realms," Kotaro pointed out, "We may find out what the deal is with that side bit."
"I did note that it can't be Tamaki-senpai and Nejire-senpai dating," Mineta remarked, "Maybe it's Fat Gum finding a girl?"
Scoffing in amusement, Mirko said, "Oh please! With all due respect, Fat Gum's a bit big for that."
"Well excuse me for living large," Fat Gum said with some sarcasm.
As Mina unknowingly walked in his direction, Mineta rounded the corner, almost bumping into her. "Hey Ashido, what's up?" Mineta asked, clearly sounding like he was trying to flirt with her.
Right away, Mina looked annoyed. "...Oh, Tamaki-senpai and Nejire-senpai just told me some really cute news," Mina replied, clearly sounding like she wanted to get away from Mineta.
The short grape boy moved to cut off Mina leaving as he said, "You know, there's this awesome show that's going to be starting up soon. What do you say to you and me hitting it up for a good time?"
"Is it a magic show?" Mina replied.
"Magic show?" Mina in the audience said in confusion, "Why would I care about that?"
"I don't know but I bet it'll be funny to learn, Mina," Sero said, already snickering a little.
Looking a bit confused, Mineta said, "Umm, no. Why?"
"Darn," Mina scowled in disappointment as she snapped her fingers, "Because I got this cute new magic trick that I wanted to show off." Looking at Mineta, Mina asked, "Would you like to see it?"
Shrugging, Mineta answered, "Sure, why not?"
Kneeling on one knee to be more on Mineta's level, Mina held her arms up so that her hands were about at shoulder level, with the palms facing out towards and turned slightly to face Mineta. "As you can see," Mina began, "I got nothing up my sleeves!" A few seconds of silence passed, then a blast of acid flew from Mina's hands right into Mineta's face, making him cry out in alarm and mild pain as he fell over onto the cool hallway floor and rolled around, trying to get the acid off his face.
"Pinky really did blast Grape Head in the face with her acid!" Bakugo in the audience cheered in clear amusement as a few audience members laughed, "That was awesome!"
"Woo! I'm pretty awesome here!" Mina declared.
Mineta sighed in defeat as he said, "I should have seen that coming.
As Mineta rolled in pain on the floor, Mina got up. "Does that answer things for you, you little creep?" Mina spat before turning around to walk off, leaving Mineta still rolling around on the floor in pain as he tried getting the acid out of his face.
...
Later after he recovered, Mineta was back at it again as he was still determined to get the pink girl of class 1-A to like him. "Mina is proving to be a feisty one," Mineta muttered to himself, "But I am determined!"
Rounding the corner into the area where the drama class theater was located, Mineta spotted Mina talking to Monoma of class 1-B, Shinso of class 1-C, and a third year student of an unknown department who was wearing a costume clearly meant for a live stage performance.
"Ah, the theater," Nezu in the audience remarked, "I'm not sure if most know this about me, but I do enjoy a good live play on stage."
"Like what my class and I did for the school festival where Mirio-senpai and Izuku took Eri to in order to help cheer her up," Monoma said.
Laughing in a good natured tone, Nezu replied, "Oh ho ho, not even close."
Folding his arms across his chest, Spinner said, "That play was clearly just one long ego trip dedicated to you, blonde boy."
Turning to look as Spinner, Dabi asked, "Hey wait a minute. Spinner, how would you know that?"
"I was actually there to watch it," Spinner explained, "I wore a hoodie the entire time so no one would recognize me. Then I bought a funnel cake and ate it as I left UA grounds."
"A VILLAIN WAS ON UA GROUNDS DURING THE SCHOOL FESTIVAL?!" Aizawa exclaimed, very clearly rattled.
Snapping his fingers, Gentle Criminal said, "Darn it, he beat me."
Making his way over, Mineta got the attention of Mina, which also got Monoma's attention and Shinso's attention as well since they were still talking to the pink-skinned girl. The third year student left to go do something. "Hey Ashido, are you still up for a good time later?"
Mina held her arm up to block off Monoma and Shinso, indicating that she would take care of things here herself. "Sorry, but I'm going to need to see Yaoyorozu for help with our PE class."
Looking confused, Mineta said, "Hey wait a minute, I thought that you were doing alright in PE. Why do you need Yaoyorozu's help?"
"It's the other way around, actually," Mina explained, "Yaoyorozu thinks she herself can do better if she was able to pull off what I can do, so she asked me to help her."
"That does make sense," Yaoyorozu in the audience said, "I mean, Mina is very limber. I'd say it's the reason she's so good at moving and dancing."
Stretching her arms into the air, Mina smirked as she said, "Oh, I do what I can."
"Ho," Mineta remarked, sounding interested, "I don't suppose you could use an audience, could you?"
Scoffing in a mildly annoyed tone, Mina said as she held her right hand's palm to face Mineta, "Talk to the hand, you creep." As Mineta looked on a bit in confusion, a blast of acid flew from Mina's palm right onto Mineta's face, making him fall over onto the floor and roll around in pain for a bit. Mina walked off, with Monoma leaving for his class's dorm building. Shinso looked on at Mineta for a few seconds, chuckled a bit in amusement, and then left as well.
Shrugging, Shinso in the audience said, "I'd probably write it off as just class 1-A rough-housing with one another."
"I can't fault you for that," Aizawa replied, "They have their own way of doing things, many of which I cannot even begin to comprehend."
"But that's what makes us special," Mina said.
Looking depressed a bit, Mineta said, "Hopefully the me here will catch on and figure out a way to block acid to the face from Mina."
...
Later, after he got all of the acid out of his face, Mineta gave another shot at trying to flirt with Mina. This time, the grape headed hero in training saw Mina talking to Izuku, Todoroki, and Bakugo about something. "Provided that the boys don't get in my way," Mineta said to himself as he made his way over, "I should do just fine."
After a few seconds, Mineta reached where Mina was talking to the boys. "Hey Ashido, how's it hanging?" Mineta greeted in his usual flirtatious manner.
Izuku and Todoroki both looked like they were about to intervene on Mina's behalf, but were both stopped by Bakugo as Mina stepped forward. "How many times do I have to tell you, you little creep?" Mina said in an annoyed, slightly angry tone, "I'm not interested!" Seeing Mina raise her right hand's palm, Mineta got ready to intercept the oncoming acid attack.
"Aha!" Mineta in the audience laughed, "I did get wise to what Mina tried to do!"
"Shove it," Mina growled in annoyance.
Sure enough, Mina shot a blast of acid from her right hand, only for Mineta to raise a shield that Yaoyorozu had previously made during a random scuffle and dropped; Mineta picked it up and kept it thinking it could be useful to him at some point. "Aha!" Mineta laughed in victory as he thought that he had finally gotten the better of the pink-skinned girl, "I had finally caught on to your favorite style of trying to-"
Mineta stopped short when Mina, with her left hand's palm, shot a blast of acid that struck the short pervert boy square in his manhood. "AHHHHHHHH!" Mineta cried out pain as he dropped the salvaged shield and proceeded to fall to the floor, covering his wounded hidden treasure. While Izuku and Todoroki looked on not sure if they should do anything or not, Bakugo started laughing out loud at how Mina had blasted Mineta's manhood with acid.
In the audience, Bakugo was also laughing out loud. "That's the Pinky that we all know and love!" Bakugo cheered in clear amusement, "Way to go!"
"Why thank you, Bakugo," Mina replied, even offering Bakugo a high five which he accepted.
"Why my Little Mineta?!" Mineta cried out in complaint, "Why?!"
...
That evening, Mineta stumbled his way over to where Sero, Kaminari, and Kirishima were all eating dinner in their class's dorm building over in the kitchen area. "...Yeah, it looks like Mina is too wild a ride for even me to handle," Mineta remarked, "I don't think any boy could tame her, if I of all people failed."
"You're going to try to harass a different girl tomorrow, aren't you," Sero said more than asked.
Pointing straight up to the ceiling, Mineta said, "I don't harass them, I flirt with them! And yes!" After that, Mineta turned around to walk towards the stairs leading to the dorm rooms above, intending to turn in for the night.
As the three boys continued to eat dinner, Kirishima said, "What did I tell you boys earlier? Mina can handle things herself."
FIN
"Yes!" Mina cheered, "Yes I can handle the business myself! That's girl power for you!"
"All you did was blast my face and manhood with acid!" Mineta snapped.
"I'm more concerned how you were shown being so casual in intending to harass another girl at your school," Spinner said to Mineta.
Sighing, Aizawa said to Spinner, "I'm more concerned how you, a villain, was able to get onto UA grounds successfully during the school festival."
END OF CHAPTER
Author's notes;
Mina is an awesome character; she can be funny, lively, and creative. I think that's why I like her as a character, as well as how I think she has such great potential for having fun in stories. But that's not here nor there. Anyway, Mina proves that while it's still sweet when someone comes to protect a girl from Mineta's 'flirting', the girls can still handle themselves well enough.
But that won't stop Mineta, who will go after another girl in the next chapter. Who wants to take a stab at who it will be?
