Later that night, a small crowd of families and their children settle themselves on the field. As they sat down happily, waiting for the movie to start, Jacob and his crew pull up by the park to guard the crowd. However, unbeknownst to the crowd below, Alice is in an abandoned building with Sophie tied up and Bemular watching guard.
"We're all mad here, Commander. I'm mad, you're mad. Sanity is so...pedestrian." Alice tells Jacob. "I want to be memorable, the kind of girl who never leaves your thoughts, so I took it upon myself to fill a Crows truck with forget-me-not's." She laughs.
Jacob runs over to a van and discovers a bomb hidden inside. "'How do you like the Queen?' said the cat." Alice quoted. "These are innocent families and kids, Alice!" Jacob responds.
"Keep your mouth shut, and everyone will stay alive to see how this boring movie ends." Alice taunted. "Try anything and Kaboom!" She added. Bemular's feet click and clack as he holds Sophie by the neck and puts her on a wooden plank. "You would never forget about Sophie, would you, Commander?" Bemular tells Jacob. "Your precious puny officer is standing, but can your finest woman fly?" His metallic voice rattles as he questions the commander. "Let's test that theory," Bemular responds by taking Sophie by the back of her neck and floats forward. Sophie's eyes widen as she looks down.
On a rooftop, Kate arises wearing her cousin's Nomex survival suit. She takes out a black rectangular gadget with some red LEDs and fires a steel-reinforced cord at the outside wall. One of the men sees it and squints his eyes to get a better view. Suddenly, Kate is dragged towards the window, her cape spread open and her boots out. She crashes through the building's window and kicks the thug down. He screams in fear as he gets dragged away. The remaining men murmur and begin to spread out, their flashlights illuminating the darkness. A thug walks by and Kate swiftly dashes by silently, looking like a black blur. As one of the men attempts to untie the unconscious thug, he doesn't know that Kate was lurking in the shadows, aiming her grapple gun at the thug's right foot. As he gets dragged away, he screams. "Back to back! Circle up!" The 3 remaining men circle up, their hands beginning to shake. Kate drops a smoke bomb from the I-beams she was standing on. The thug coughs as smoke begins to emit from the device. With them distracted, a figure with a bright blue light shining on his chest and bright optics quickly snatches a thug and knocks him out in the shadows. Before the second thug can look, Kate takes him by the leg with her grapple gun and he gets pulled into the air, upside down. The last remaining guard backs up and sees his 4 comrades hanging on the ceiling.
From the smoke arises Kate. She squints her eyes at the thug and starts charging towards him. "Come on! Come at!" He shouts as he draws his gun. She blocks a gunshot with her gauntlet and does a dropkick on him. She dodges a punch, counters a kick, and misses another kick. Kate elbows him in the face, then to the stomach, and connects a palm to his mask and a kick to the abdomen. Kate then catches his foot and elbows him in the face again. As he charges over, she sends an extremely strong jab to his mask, cracking it. Shinjiro then does a karate kick that sends the thug flying into a stone pillar, knocking him out.
Alice suddenly saw 2 shadows. Soon enough, 2 figures emerged from the plastic curtains. It was Kate and Shinjiro, wearing their respective suits. Shinjiro donned the Ultraman Suit, its red markings resembled the original Giant of Light on its shoulders, chestplate, and thighs. Silver scuffed-up steel gleamed under the bright moon as a protective black undersuit could be seen underneath the armor. Finally, the blue color timer on Shinjiro's chest shined brightly as his helmet's lenses are white. "Batman?" Alice wondered. "I thought you were dead!" She hissed. Kate deals with Alice while Shinjiro charges at Bemular. "Let her go!" He demands. "Such poor choice of words, child." Bemular gloats as he drops Sophie. "NO!" Kate shouts as she gets into a chokehold by Alice. Shinjiro jumps off of the ledge and dives after Sophie. He gets closer and closer, reaching his hand out to grab the falling victim. "GOTCHA!" exclaims the new Ultraman. He turns around and faces his back to a wooden building, shielding Sophie from the impact and cushioning her fall. Shinjiro crashes through the wood and lands on the floor without a single scratch. He groans and rubs his back while getting up onto his feet. "Who are you?" Sophie asks. "Call me Ultraman." Shinjiro introduces himself before launching himself with a pair of blue arm-blades back to the building above to help his sister.
Well, surprise surprise, Kate was able to subdue Alice easily. She takes her knife, which was stabbed into a barrel. "I'll take this." She muttered. Shinjiro lands right in front of her. "Are you OK?" "Yeah." She responded as she stood there, looking down at the crowd. A small girl notices the 2 heroes. "Daddy, daddy, who is that boy and that lady up there?" The father, who is an aged man in his mid 60's with brown hair, looks up. "She is vengeance. She is the night. She is the new Bat." Another man with white hair and glasses, clearly older than the father and 81 years old, looks up at the sight to behold. "The giant of light is now an armored human. I wish him luck." The crowd of families cheers as Kate glides off into the night and Shinjiro follows, leaving a trail of light blue from his arm blades.
