Koa follows Sakuya through a trail to Kourin's place.

"I wonder what they're doing here.", She flies to the window and holds a cup to it trying to listen inside.

Kourin beats his chest, "I understand. Not just anyone can enter the home of Youkai without cracking. You needed someone brave and handsome like myself to fill the role right?"

"Far be it from me to correct someone I'm asking a favor from."

"How cruel!"

"So will you do it?"

"Of course I'd be happy to take part in this dad plan."

Koa gasps, "So she's planning to have Kourin pretend to be her dad." she wipes her head "That's better than what the others thought, but that still doesn't answer why she needs him too pretend to be his dad."

Back at the Library. Patchouli turns to Meiling, "It's rare to see you in here, middle of the day no less."

Laying on the table she says, "Well I'm not really needed outside."

"I won't bother you then, it's really none of my concern."

"You're right, it's nobody else's concern but my own. I have to do things for myself." She stands up, "Thank's Patchi!"

She runs off and Patchouli says, "More and more this library is starting to feel like a playroom."

"Patchouli help me!" Remilia comes in squealing, "I need Mommy!"

"No way!" she turns, "There must be some spell over the room. Quick make sure you can use the toilet properly."

"Don't make fun of me! I read up on it and humans have a custom of meeting each other's parents. That's what Flan wanted you to tell me right?"

"That is right I suppose. It's particularly common in romance stories to gain approval before marriage."

"Well, that story ends here. I won't let some boy take Sakuya away. But I can't take Sakuya's dad lightly, he has both the powers of a vampire, and time manipulation. A worthy adversary to be sure. But if Sakuya is chose to call him that must mean her mother is even worse. If I can find her she may never approve of any boy."

Patchouli sighs flipping a page, "Give it your best then."

In a far away place Marisa is on a mat with colorful polka dots playing twister with Yukari with Chen flicking the spinner. Stuck in an awkward position surrounded by portals with Yukari's limbs dangling out, she says, "I feel like I'm forgetting something, Like I was supposed to take responsibility for something."

"Careful now." Yukari brushes her back, "Fall now, and I'll win that magic book from you."

Marisa's eyes water, "I never should have came here!"

Meanwhile Meiling has begun her travels to become stronger. She asks Alice to teach her puppetry and manages the feet of having her agree. But she ends up strung up to a tree by the very strings she was trying to control, while a bunch of tiny dolls in martial arts turn on her.

Alice says, "Wow I've never seen that happen before. I think you better learn the foundations of magic before trying again".

So trying something else Marisa finds Youmu to learn swordsmanship from. Youmu has her try to cut a log and the blade fly's out of Meiling's hands staking the ground between Youmu's feet making her jump back crying "Myon!". Needless to say those lessons were cut short.

Now she tries going to Aya to learn the power of the wind.

"Interested in the Tengu's Secrets huh? Very well, but you got to make it interesting for me."

"I could convince my lady to subscribe to you."

"Alright, I'm in!"

Aya gives a demonstration of flying through the air, and blowing some leaves around while explaining it all to Meiling.

"Now give it a try.

Meiling takes a deep breath and blows as hard as she can to try and use "wind powers".

Aya just shakes her head, "Ayaya this might be my greatest challenge yet."

Back at the library, Sakuya serves Patchouli tea while asking a question.

"By chance have you seen Meiling around?"

"She said she went off to learn something or another."

"How odd. I wonder if she needed to fix something or maybe get a lock open."

Sakuya goes to serve Remilia lunch and Koa continues to spy on her, trying to decide if she should tell the others her dad is a fake.

"What is this?" Remilia lifts the food on a fork" "Green peppers and thick brown sauce? These don't suit my taste at all!"

"Apologies my lady. I originally prepared them for Meiling but she disappeared, so I didn't want the food to go to waste."

"I thought you just served her leftovers to begin with. Or maybe just what the other workers eat... Do Fairies eat?"

"All living things subside in some way. As for the dish, I thought Meiling looked down lately so I hoped to cheer her up with this."

"Alright, I guess. Why don't you go check on the garden, it's been looking down as well."

"As you wish."

Sakuya leaves and Remilia talks to herself, "So she has the gatekeeper on the mind huh? That must mean the special person Sakuya wants her father to meet is... possibly known by her! I should find and ask her quickly!"

Hiding behind the wall, Koa says, "You fool, she's obviously madly in love with Meiling and wants to get all close and personal with her!".

"Uhm... hello?"

"Ah!" Koa unfurls her wings in surprise. Turning she see's Sakuya.

"I'm assuming you came here to get some for tea for Patchouli?"

"O-Of course!"

"Well here you go, take your time walking back." Sakuya waves with a smile.

"Sure, sure."

Koa fly's the other way back to the library...

After flying straight for 10 minutes straight she realizes the hallway has been stretched dramatically.

"I think she's trying to tell me something..."
