Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Thieves' Dance. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own RWBY. Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth do.

Russet landed in the middle of Vale. The gift of flight was a very rare gift among his people… Or anyone in particular.

"Should I even ask what changed while I was gone? If anything?" Russet asked himself before deciding to shake his head and simply move onto business.

He had a contact within the White Fang. It helped when you had a mole within a radicalized Faunus Terrorist group hellbent on conquering the entire planet. Then again? He supposed it was starting to wear thin.

'Ok, Bookhound… Where are you?' Russet questioned while raising an eyebrow and brushed off his jacket.

He was quite interest while thinking about what was going to happen at the moment. His ears perked up as he walked towards the last place, he had gotten a message from Bookhound. The man had told him that he was leaving the White Fang…

"I offer him protection; he offers me one last scoop of information that could help us put down the Fang… And hopefully figure out who the hell is behind all these random attacks.' Russet thought to himself as he shrugged and walked inside.

He paused to adjust the coverings over his eyes. Most people would find it shocking down to it. Russet hummed and then looked to the side. He heard movement which made him bring a hand down to his belt. He hadn't seen anyone when he landed. Tonight, was also when most people would have been home due to the paranoia of the attack on the SDC ship.

However? Russet gathered that he'd probably be seeing… Or rather, he'd hear them. Russet could only ponder who would come to kill a former member of the White Fang. They were going into witness protection, and as a Huntsmen? He knew there would be people willing to go against the grain. It didn't shock him at all.

"Bookhound?" Russet questioned as he hummed and then turned around. "I heard you have something you want to mention?" Russet asked while looking around once more.

"Leatherwing?" Russet heard and nodded. "I was wondering when you'd be here… You shouldn't, by the way. There will be someone coming soon." Russet stated as he could only look to the side.

"Kinda why I'm here." Russet stated as he put his hands in his pockets. "We should go, I'll have someone take your books sooner or later. I'll get someone to get your books sent with you. Everyone gets a happy ending, you know." Russet added while he walked forward.

"You still shouldn't have come." He said while Russet shrugged while looking up at the ceiling. "We're be in great danger… The White Fang doesn't treat traitors at all." Russet heard as he hummed while he looked to the side.

Russet said nothing at the moment. That was obvious that someone would come after them.

"No, the terrorist's group that attacked a dust freighter last I heard are dangerous?" Russet questioned with a raised eyebrow under his mask and blindfold. "Shocker. I will deal with them if anyone comes. Get ready to go, we're leaving soon." Russet added while humming and waiting for him and turned his head to the side.

Russet could only wonder at the moment who would come after Tukson. The White Fang were insane, but they were not people who would send a small army after one of their own. He cleared his throat and kept his hands on his hips.

"You know their going to kill us sooner or later." Tukson put in which got a shrug from Russet who could only scratch at his chin in interest.

"Lots of people want to kill me." Russet said while he leaned against the counter. "It isn't exactly something that I dwell on when it comes down to it. You get used to it sooner or later, trust me." Russet stated before the sound of footsteps made him turn to look over his shoulder once more.

"Ah, company." Russet said while clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth. "Sorry to tell you this, but the shop's closing. Me and the business owner have lunch…" Russet said while blinking.

He heard footsteps, one far louder then another. That told him enough to tell that this was going to be interesting if it actually was a fight that he had on his hands.

"That's a shame, we had some of our business to discuss." He heard while he hummed as he smirked once more. "You sure we cant have him for just a moment?" He heard and dusted off his coat a moment later.

"Nope, it can wait for today." Russet said while he turned and smirked with amusement. "Unless you want to talk it out with me?" I know some awesome books that I could recommend." Russet said and readied himself for a moment.

There was going to be a fight.
