Authors note: I forgot to mention in the last chapter that Ramble is 5 feet and 10 inches. Racket has black Yamcha hair from Dragon Xenoverse 2 (except it has saiyan bangs), has golden eyes with irises in the middle, has the starting gear for female saiyan in Xenoverse 2, and is currently 5 feet and 7 inches. Alright, onto the story!

P.S. I read through the second chapter and I realized the boat load of mistakes I have, I'm very sorry D: Anyways, ONTO THE STORY!

Chapter 2

Conton City; age 853

Chronoa nodded, as she saw what happened in the scroll and could see the distortion disappearing.

Chronoa turned around and saw a light appearing in front of her. Within it, Ramble took a step out, holding the corrupted patroller on his back.

"I put her in a headlock, until she fell unconscious. I checked her pulse, and it's normal." Ramble paused. "Do you know who this is?" he asked, putting her down.

As Chronoa took a close look while getting ready to purify her energy, and realized who this was.

"This is time patroller Racket, she became a patroller the same time you did." she stated.

"Huh, is that so?" he asked, then realized that she had a furry belt.

"So, she's a saiyan, just like me…" Ramble thought to himself. "I wonder how strong she is in actuality."

"Oh yeah, from last I checked, she is a special case."

Ramble looked at Chronoa. "Uhm, what?"

"You asked how strong she is, and last time I checked, she specializes in her strength in ki." She stated, finishing purifying Rackets energy. She then looked at Ramble. "I'm guessing you thought you said that in your head."

Ramble cheeks turned a little pink. "O-oh, I said that out loud?"

"Ugh...my head hurts." Racket said, holding her forehead as she got up.

When she opened her eyes, she was greeted by the face of a male saiyan and the Supreme Kai of time's face.

Naturally, she had no idea what had just happened to get her here.

"What happened to me?" she asked. "Last thing I remembered was going into Goku and Piccolo's battle with Raditz to fix the time distortion, then everything went dark, and now I'm back at the Time Nest."

"Your energy was corrupted by something," the male saiyan explained. "Somehow, when you got into the time period, your energy got corrupted, and you apparently helped Raditz."

"Wait, really?" Racket asked, stunned, as she never would have thought she would do that.

"Yep." the male saiyan stated. "The Supreme Kai had to call me in, and I fixed the Time Distortion and managed to get you out of there."

"Oh yeah! You don't know my name yet." the male saiyan stated. "My name is Ramble, and it's nice to meet you Racket." Ramble said with a smile, holding out his hand.

"Um...nice to meet you too, Ramble." Racket said, shaking Ramble's hand.

"Alright, well, there isn't much to do right now…" Chronoa started, "Me, the old man, Trunks, and his partner will figure out how Racket got corrupted. You're both good to go now." she then looked at Ramble. "You can relax for now, but make sure you're staying in shape. We never know when you're going to be needed again."

Ramble nodded, and walked out of the Time Nest with Racket.

"So… want to spar with me?" Ramble asked as soon as they got out.

Racket looked at him. "Well, I couldn't be called a saiyan if I said no." she replied, giving him a competitive smile.

Ramble returned the smile. "Well then, let's not waste time!" he said, running over to the simulators.

"Yep!" Racket replied, following him close behind.

A bit of time later~

Ramble and Racket were stretching, as they were preparing to fight.

"You ready?" Ramble asked, as he finished up.

"I'm ready to beat ya!" Racket replied as she also finished stretching.

"Oh, it's on!" Ramble said as he got in his stance.

"Of course it is!" Racket returned as she also got into her form.

Both of them sized each other up.

Ramble noticed that both of Racket's hands, while in positions that could block attacks and hit back, had been in a position so it was easier for her to fire ki blasts immediately. There were a few openings, but he would have to get her off guard, which judging by how tight her stance was, wasn't going to be easy.

Racket noticed that Rambles stance was loose, but it had no apparent openings, as akin to her stance. She was well aware of her openings but knew that if she kept her guard up that they wouldn't and couldn't be used against her. But she could tell Ramble was looking for a way to negate that. Her stance grew tighter. She was going to focus on her guard.

For a few more moments, was there silence. Then suddenly, both combatants vanished, and shockwaves vibrated throughout the simulator.

Ramble went for a punch, to which Racket countered and went for an uppercut. Ramble pulled back, and went for a roundhouse kick, to which Racket responded by crossing her arms across her chest. Ramble quickly then goes for an overhead punch, to which she catches. She tries to return with her own punch, but he catches hers too.

"Wow…" Racket thought. "He's really strong. If he lands a good blow on me, then I'm definitely toast."

"For someone who specializes in ki attacks, she hits hard." Ramble thought. "If this is just her punching me, I am seriously in trouble when she starts using her ki."

The two lock eyes and grin. "You're pretty good." Ramble complements. "Right back atcha." Racket says back, as both of their arua's start flaring. "But I can go further!" Racket yells. "Same here!" Ramble responds.

They pushed each other away, and then the both flared their power to the max. The simulator started to shake, as it had reached the amount of pressure it was supposed to contain.

In terms of Frieza Metrics, Rambles power had gone up to 15,000. Rackets power only went up to 13,000.

They both looked at each other. And in that instant, they rushed towards each other.

Ramble started it off with a punch, to which Racket sidestepped, and responded with an open palm strike coupled with a ki blast to his side. Ramble let out a grunt, and in turn, grabbed her arm, and punched the side of her face, and then kneed her in the gut. As Racket tried to gather air back, Ramble brought his hands together over Racket, and slammed her into the ground.

Racket picked herself up, showing severe injuries. Racket looked up at Ramble. She brought her hands forward, pulled them back, and launched a Kamehameha.

Ramble, curious as to just how strong her ki attacks were, instead of dodging the blast, decided to take it head on, and crossed his arms.

It turned out to be a big mistake, as the impact nearly blew Ramble away. He found his arms were starting to feel somewhat numb, so he got the way out of the blast, and let his guard down.

Which turned out to be another mistake, as he was left wide open to the self-implosion of Racket's Kamehameha.

Racket smirked to herself. She hit him dead-on. He should've at least stained the same injuries as her.

Ramble fell from the sky, then righted himself, and landed on the ground. Ramble proceeded to stand up, and revealed he was riddled with the same severe injuries that Racket had.

"I don't think I can match your physical strength…" Racket started.

"But I lose against your power in ki attacks." Ramble finished.

"So, guess that this match will only end in one blow, huh?" Racket stated.

"Yep. No other way to do it." Ramble replied.

They both looked at each other, and nodded, as the both charged at each other, as Ramble clenched his fist, and Racket charged up a ki blast in her hands.

Ramble had put everything into this punch. If it failed, well, Racket won.

Racket had also brought out her full power into this ki blast. If Ramble was still standing, then she would've lost.

When they got close enough to each other, they both brought their fists crashing into each other. Ramble landed the first blow on Racket on her face, while Racket winded Ramble with a blast to his stomach with her attack. Their attacks had caused a mini crater to form. They both were knocked back onto the ground, as their guards were completely down, as to hit each other with their full strength.

They both laid there for 5 minutes, catching breaths, holding sides, shaking heads.

Ramble then said "I-I don't think...I...can go on...any...longer..." with a content smile about their little scuffle.

"Y-yeah...I have...no strength...left...at all..." Racket replied, also having a smile about their sparring match.

"W-well then...I...guess it's...a...draw?" Ramble asked.

"I-I...guess...so..." Racket said, as she was starting to lose consciousness.

She then suddenly got a short second wind and got up and said "You better give me a rematch, alright? Don't think that I'm satisfied with this!"

Ramble could only smirk and nod, and with that, the two saiyans both lost consciousness, and fell onto the ground.
