Quick A/N-I changed my youtube name from Broken Mask07 to Lostkeyboard, so if you want to see the OC fanart you'll have to go on the Lostkeyboard channel.
Izuku woke up again, but this time it was morning. Emma was still asleep, her arms still wrapped protectively around Izuku. Anna was still sleeping as well, and her blue hair stood out in the pre-dawn light.
Izuku checked his watch. 7:24, it read.
"Emma?" Izuku asked slowly. "Emma?"
He grabbed her shoulder and slowly shook it. Emma woke up, her orange hair tossed about her face.
"Yeah?" She replied as she moved her hand to cover her mouth. Must be morning breath, izuku thought.
"Would you possibly be able to...let go? I have a few things I need to check."
Emma blushed, then quickly released Izuku. "Could I talk to you for a bit first?"
"Sure thing." Izuku replied. "What do you want to say?"
"I was just wondering why you came here. After all, staying in your old town would've been better."
"I left because I knew that villains were after me, but at the time Stain was still locked up. I also left for the safety of my classmates and mother."
"So you're baiting the villains over here?"
Izuku nodded slowly. "Yes, but actually no. I came here to train, so I can actually take them down. Last time I faced the league resulted in the retirement of All Might, and I don't want another pro hero to lose their career because of me."
"That makes sense."
Izuku cleared his throat. "Were you born here? Or did you travel here like me?"
"My sister and I were born in Tokyo, but when we chose to run away we ended up here. Plus, this place had some opportunities for us to make money."
"How did you come about doing that?"
"My sister did most of the work. She would go down in mines and use her filter quirk to go into gassed areas. I did some work too, but it was all really useless."
"What did you do, may I ask?"
Emma smiled and ran a finger back through her hair. "I was a vocalist. I pretty much just sang at restaurants and made a few hundred yen off of it."
"Maybe you could even give me a demo." Izuku joked. "Anyway, we should get going."
"Could I go with you?"
"Ok fine." Izuku agreed. "You might as well wake up Anna, she'll be coming as well."
Emma got up and grabbed Anna by the sleeve and hoisted her up. "You have three minutes. Then, we're going."
"Can you just wait a little longer?" Anna protested. "After all, you and Izuku were sleeping all warm last night!"
Izuku put his hands up. "Listen, I'm sorry if you were cold. We're going out to get blankets today, so you won't be tomorrow."
Anna put her hands on her hips and smiled. "Sure thing! Let's get going!"
As the three of them were walking down a street, Izuku noticed the front page of a newspaper.
"Wait." He said, holding out his arm to keep Anna and Emma from walking past. "I need to see this."
He walked over to the paper and picked one up, his eyes quickly scanning the article.
Hero Killer Releases More Terror-Kills 10 Members Of Japan's Hero Board
Izuku teared up, his entire body shaking. "No...No…" He muttered. He felt a hand on his back and turned.
Emma was there, an empathetic smile on her face. She was generally grim, but yet she seemed different around him. "What happened?" She asked slowly.
Izuku slowly turned the paper over so Emma could read. "Oh, no." She gasped. "Is that Stain guy really that crazy? He just attracted everybody's attention!"
"I think that's his plan." Izuku noted. "The more heroes chase him, the more he can kill. It's all part of his idea of purifying society."
Anna peeked over Izuku's shoulder and read the title as well. "That's not good."
Izuku nodded slowly. "I'm not going to let this stand. Come with me, we're going to a certain place I know."
"Which place?" Emma asked.
"The house of Gran Torino, one of the best heroes to ever live."
After walking across the city, Izuku, Emma and Anna arrived at Gran Torino's house. Izuku was a few feet away from the door, and the twin sisters were close behind. Izuku gulped, then rang the doorbell.
"Hello?" He called.
"Izuku?" Gran Torino exclaimed from inside the house. "Come on in! I thought you were a goner!"
The three of them walked in, and Emma looked around nervously. She was always afraid of people, something caused by her PTSD. (Which was made by the bullies in her childhood.) If Torino is really as scary as Izuku says, then he must be very intimidating.
"Who are these gals here?" Gran Torino asked.
Izuku gulped again, then was about to introduce his new friends. "These are my friends, here is-"
Anna cut him off. "I'm Anna, the cuter of the two! Here is my sister, Emma. I have one of the best quirks out there!"
Emma bowed slowly, her orange hair flying down onto her face. "It is very...nice to meet you."
The old man nodded slowly. "I see. What's your quirk?"
"I don't have one." Emma said meekly.
"But I do!" Anna said happily. "And I'll be happy to show you!"
Gran looked at Izuku and raised an eyebrow. "Go ahead. I'll see if you last even half a minute."
"No, you don't understand." Anna said quickly as she realised her mistake. "I can't fight with it! It only lets me breathe in harmful fumes and not get affected by-"
"Shut it!" Izuku yelled. "I'm here to talk, not for you to boat about your powers!"
Anna was crestfallen. Torino, on the other hand, looked at Emma suspiciously. "Izuku." He said. "Let's have a few words outside."
Izuku and Torino both stood outside, the light breeze blowing both their cloaks to the side.
"So," Izuku stated. "What's this about."
"Not what. Who." Torino replied.
"Ok fine. Who is this about?"
Torino glanced around to make sure nobody was watching, then spoke. "Emma. She's quirkless, right?"
"I think so. She even told me so." Izuku looked down slowly, his gaze drifting down onto his shoes.
"I think you and here are in a similar position. You were both born quirkless, and both of you want a quirk. Well, you have one already."
Izuku nodded. "Is this about One for All?"
"Bingo." Torino replied. "I was thinking that you give her One For All."
