They made it back to the station and turned their prisoner over to custody. The other contact was removed, and it didn't help settle Judy's nerves when it was declared that the rabbit's orange fur was actually dyed.

"We're sending for the DNA test," Chief Bogo assured her, addressing her concerns, "We'll get this all sorted out."

Judy thanked him and left the room.

As the remainder of the day proceeded Judy began to feel more herself. Judy rejoined Nick after filling out her report.

"Sorry again for what happened earlier," Judy said.

"Don't mention it," Nick replied, "It was an accident."

"But you got to admit you did look funny, your reaction to it and all."

"Funny for you, not funny for me," said Nick, flipping his glasses back over his eyes, "Like I said, don't mention it. Ever."

But as they climbed back into the vehicle, Judy couldn't hold back another snort.

Whatever, sighed Nick.

As they drove on, Judy checked her belt to make sure she'd reinstalled her taser. She didn't like the thought of using it again, especially after earlier today, but she couldn't be too safe.

Could she?
