Synopsis: Everyone has a crush on Lloyd
Lloyd's POV:
School is over, but I still have to go back for tryouts, I don't even know if I want to do tryouts, but Cole recommended I should. I grab my stuff Cole handed me this morning and put them in the bag. I seriously don't know what I'm doing. As I'm thinking about backing out, My mom comes in the room.
"You got everything Lloyd?" Misako asks.
"Yes, Mom, Jay's on his way over here" I reply
"I'm so happy you made friends or your first day, any girl you've taken a liking to?" She laughed. "Mom!" I groan and then hear a honk outside, oh thank Fsm. "Jay's here, gotta run!" I run out the door before any more questions about girls. I open the passenger car door and get in. Jay must have noticed something so he asked "You nervous?". "A little, I think I might get bodied" I wheeze. "Nah, You're fine, If I can make it, So can you, Just be glad you're a boy going on the football team instead of a girl on the cheer team, because Harumi makes it impossible." Jay cranked the Ignition and we drove off to the school.
-School (I hate school) -
Zane's POV:
I wonder when Jay and Lloyd are going to arrive, I want to see how good this guy is at Football, I'm good at it, but that's because I'm a robot, Metal body is very useful to have when someone's trying to tackle you. Everyone seems fond of Lloyd, especially Harumi. Skylor told me she won't stop talking about him and how hot he is, Cole got a lucky break so far. They enter as I'm thinking, and approach me.
"Hello Jay and Lloyd" I greet them.
"Hi Zane" They both say, at the same time. I think they share a brain cell now.
"So Lloyd, You ready?" I ask. "Cole's waiting outside". Lloyd shuddered "He is?". "Oh yeah, the only test is if you can move Cole, the strongest guy in the school" Jay said. "You can do it, I know you can" I assured him. "A-alright" Lloyd walked to the field.
"Took you guys Long enough" Cole rolled his eyes. "Sorry, Jay doesn't drive fast" Lloyd defended himself. Jay glared and Cole laughed. "Anyways, Just Move me from my stance and you're on the team, no amour" Cole stood in his position. Lloyd stood in front of him. "You can do it man!" I cheered. Lloyd smiled at me and I felt a warm feeling inside, Jay was right, he does have the best smile.
Lloyd's POV:
I look at Cole, who's smirking like he has a trick up his sleeve. Zane and Jay are cheering me on. I take one step, then charge, I move to the left, then the right, confusing Cole just like I wanted to. Then Lunge at him... Boom. I look up, and see myself on the ground. I had failed. Until I hear groaning, Cole was on the ground... I had tackled the strongest guy in the school. Jay and Zane roared with excitement. I pumped my fist in the air and then helped Cole up. "Wow, I underestimated you, Welcome to the team, Lloyd Garmadon, number 5. (Only true ogs will know why he's no.5). I'm now part of the team and Jay and Zane come down to congratulate me.
Cole's POV:
In all honesty, I was just going to let him push me so he could get on the team, but I didn't think he could full on tackle me! This plan is working so great! He's strong too? Harumi's def going after him. Plus, everyone seems to think this guy is hot, I mean, even guys are fawning over him, and I think Kai feels threatened, because he's not the hottest anymore. Speaking of Kai, Him, Morro, and Shade come.
"Yo, Cole I heard cheering, what happened?" Kai asks. "Nothing, Lloyd is on the team now" I said. "You know what that means!" Kai smirks. Oh god, Kai's celebratory party, Every time someone comes to the team, he has a huge party, and it's fun, but I don't think Lloyd's pure boy attitude could handle that. "I don't think Lloyd wou-" I am about to say, until Lloyd buts in and says "I'll go!". "That's the spirt!" Kai put his arm around him. "Even though you took my hottest guy award, you're still chill in my book, you're new, you didn't know" Kai says. "There's an award here for being hot?" Lloyd gives Kai the most confused look ever. "Don't worry about it" Kai walks off to tell everyone else.
"What was that?" Lloyd asks me.
"Just Kai being Kai" I respond.
I give Lloyd a thumbs up and give him the time, and head to my car. I feel bad about using him to get Harumi away, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do without getting exiled.
Skylor's POV:
Someone Knocked on the girl's locker room door and Harumi was in the middle of putting on makeup, so I had to get it. And oh great, It's Kai. Every time I give this idiot another Chance, he always blows it by flirting with some other girl. He has a huge smile on his face, but I hope he's not here to ask me out.
"What do you want?" I put my hands on my hips.
"Lloyd made it" He responds. "The blondie?" I ask. "Yes, so I'm just saying I'm having a party" He says. "Oh, A welcome to the team party, we're def going" Harumi cuts in. "You're just going because you think he's cute" I point out. "Whatever" She walks back to the bathroom. I'm not saying Lloyd isn't hot, but he's just not someone I'd date, I would kiss him just to get back at Kai though.
I love/hate parties, they're fun with all the dancing and hanging out, and seeing the boys beat each other in Ninja Combat 11, but then there are moments when you get so drunk, you and your best friend make out in front of your ex-boyfriends. Ugh, I hate last Friday. "Anyways, Thanks for the invite, now bye!" I wave. "Wait, Skyl-" I slam the door before he finishes. I know it's a little harsh, but maybe he shouldn't try flirting with some brunette while we're dating. I go over to Nya, who is on her phone.
"Hey Sky" She looks up.
"Hey" I sigh and sit next to her. "Kai bothering you again?" She asks. "No, I just feel like I'm too hard on him, I want to forgive, but I can't..." I explain. "Take your time Sky, maybe he'll see that it's his problem he needs to fix" She assured.
Kai's POV:
She just slammed the door on me... WHAT DID I DO?! Skylor is always so difficult, yet I always keep getting drawn back to her, this legit makes no sense. I need to go home and prepare for Lloyd's welcome party. I don't know how I feel about Lloyd yet, Like I never knew there could be a guy hotter than I am. I'm honestly kind of Jealous. Anyways, I wonder how hard he can party, I know he's homeschooled, but he has had to party at least once. I mean, why else would he say yes? I crank up the car, and go home.
-Kai and Nya's house-
I set out the drinks, would be a shame if I didn't, I have a small mansion, but it's good enough for me. I wonder how big Lloyd's house is? WHY DOES MY MIND KEEP GOING TO LLOYD?! I pace around the room setting things up. The door unlocks, and Nya comes through the door.
"Sup bro, You preparing?" She asks.
"Yeah while also getting distracted" I groan
Nya starts helping me set up, she likes the parties, but doesn't drink, and the others tease her for it, much to my dismay. She doesn't drink because she's scared that she will get drunk and do some crazy shit. She's very respectable. "Thanks sis, It's hard doing these by myself" I say, gratefully. "Nah, don't sweat it, I'm always here for you" She smiles. Me and my sister have an unbreakable bond, even if Harumi likes to get in the way of it".
-2 hours later-
Lloyd's POV:
Me and Jay arrive at Kai's House, looks like the party is just getting started. We get out the car, dressed in a suit and tie, Jay had a blue tie, I had a green one. We looked fine as hell. I heard Tox say that by the way. We knock on the door, and Kai opens it letting us inside. Kai's place is huge! Way bigger than my small apartment, but not as big as Uncle Wu's Place. Kai tells us to come to the Jacuzzi, and that we are playing truth or dare. Me and Jay go upstairs to change.
"You nervous?" Jay asks.
"Sort of, I've never been in a pool with girls so close to me before" I shudder. "Try not to get a boner, it will be pretty obvious" He laughs. "Wooow, so helpful" I say, sarcastically. "I know, thanks for saying so" He smirks as we head down to the Jacuzzi. People are dancing in the main room, yet my initiation was with the main players, we go out the slide doors and put down our towels.
"What's up Jay" Morro says.
"What's Upppp, Sorry I got here so late, this one took to long to come out the door" Jay laughed, getting back at me for my little remark this afternoon. "Cap" Cole said as me and Jay got in the empty space between him and Zane. "Whatever Cole" Kai says as he comes back in the pool with bottles. He looks at me and hands a bottle. "You drink?" He asks. I've never had alcohol before, but oh what the hell. "Never had it, Couldn't hurt I guess" I take the bottle. "Ayyyyy" Cole pats me on the back. I open the bottle... and take a Sip... "THIS IS THE MOST HORRIBLE THING I HAVE EVER TASTED" I yell. Everyone starts laughing. "It's an acquired taste" Jay wheezes.
"When we will start truth or dare?" Pixal asks.
"Right now" Harumi says. "Who wants to start?"
"I'll go" Chamile says. "Skylor, Truth or dare?"
"Dare, I never back down from one" Skylor says. "Ok, I dare you, and Harumi to Make out with Greenie over there" She smirks. "What?!" Me and Kai both Say at the same time. Skylor looks nervous as fuck, but Harumi looks like she's going to enjoy this. I pray to FSM I'll survive this. They both Swim over and Harumi grabs my Arm and Makes me Look into her eyes. "Help me" I mouth to Jay. All he does is give a thumbs up. So much for friendship... I close my eyes as my lips press against hers. I've never kissed before, so I don't know how to explain it. Then when i thought it was over, Skylor pulled my head and also kissed me, as Harumi ran her finger down my chest. MIND YOU THIS WAS NOT IN A BEDROOM, THIS WAS IN FRONT OF EVERYONE IN THE JACUZZI. They take turns passionately kissing me, and I just can't take it anymore. So I come up with the dumbest excuse yet..
"I have to use the bathroom." I stand up. Skylor looks relived while I can't say the same for Harumi.
"Second floor, on your left." Kai says.
"Thanks".
I run out of there as quickly as I can and catch my breath in a corner upstairs, away from everyone. Well so I thought.
Nya's POV:
I see Lloyd run up the stairs, He looks like he isn't doing well, so I decide to check up On him. I find him in a corner.
"You ok?" I ask. Lloyd looks up at me and raises an eyebrow.
"I'm fine, I just never experienced how crazy parties were, or Truth or Dare For that matter.
Truth or Dare? Why is he- Oh Fsm, He got the make out dare didn't he, I notice the Lipstick on him. "You still have some lipstick on your face" I gave him a towel. "I'm just not ready for Social interactions like that yet, even though I think I made Harumi upset" He says. "It's your first party, no one should expect you to be experienced like that, Plus, If you stayed one min longer, she would have banged you in front of us all" I told him, making him smile a little. Damn everyone was right! When he smiles, which is not often, It's like a beam of sunlight. "I'm just gonna stay up here for Now" Lloyd says. "You've ever played Smash bros?" I ask. Lloyd looks up again "Just give me Link and It's on" We go to my room to get on the switch.
-A few hours have passed, The boys are in Kai's room, The girls are In Nya's and It's 3am and everyone is asleep-
Narrator Moment:
Kai wakes up and Shakes Lloyd's shoulder. "Huh? Whet?" Lloyd says, half sleep. "How come you left? You had two girls on you and left like that?!" Kai asks. "Kai, I wasn't comfortable kissing them, and neither was your ex." Lloyd glares. "Wait, you know about us?" Kai says, frowning. "Kai, I'm 100% sure she would rather Kiss you instead." Lloyd puts a hand on his shoulder. "Really? But she hates me.. It will never be the same" Kai sighs. "You never know until you try, besides if there's nothing she's doing wrong, then maybe you should take at yourself, and make a change" Lloyd advises. "Wow, that was really wise, who made that quote?" Kai asks, stunned. "Miiiii" That's all Lloyd said before he fell back asleep.
Maybe Kai did need to change some things about him. And He has a new friend to help.
