"CANNON BALL!", Ben rolled himself up into a ball as he dived into lake water, wearing dark blue swim shorts. "Ben Tennyson makes a perfect dive! All 10s! the crowd goes wild!", he said with his arms in the air.
"Hell yeah!", Alex looked at Gwen with an amused smile as she aimed a flashlight at him.
"A perfect dweeb is more like it.", Gwen said with her usual no-nonsense tone.
"C'mon, at least be nice and dive in.", Alex floated around in black swim shorts.
"Yeah, lighten up.", Ben said with a smile.
"Nah, there's some ugly fish in there.", Gwen said as she pointed the flash light at Ben.
Alex rubbed his brow a bit. "Can you go like... I dunno, tomorrow without raggin' on him?"
"No.", Gwen shot back.
"Worth a shot."
"What's the point of camping by a lake if you're too scared to get wet.", Ben said as he splashed Gwen with the cold lake water.
"Knock it off midget!", Gwen yelled out angrily, which caused Alex to start laughing.
"Goddamn that was harsh- huh?", Alex stopped short as he started flailing before being dragged underwater.
"What? Hey-!", Ben started doing the same, getting dragged underwater.
"Very funny guys, I'm not falling for it.", Gwen rolled her eyes with a sigh as she walked back to the edge of the dock and shown the flashlight. She fell back as a creature seemingly made of moss and seaweed erupted from the ground, with a large lump on its back. She screamed loudly... but stopped as the flashlight showed it was just Muscle Bound, with Ben riding on top.
"I'm not falling for it she says.", Muscle Bound chuckled as he placed Ben down in the dock, with him laughing at her expense.
"You guys are so busted when I tell grandpa.", Gwen furrowed her brow as she walked back to the Rust Bucket.
"Man I can't believe she fell for that!", Ben said as he helped Muscle Bound rip off the moss and seaweed off him.
"Yeah, a monster in the lake. Seriously, what kind of dumbass believes that?", Muscle Bound laughed as he wrings his hair out. As if on cue, a gigantic creature erupted out of the water, one with large tentacles on the side where it's face should be. "My god that's some specific timing. Ben! Get in the RV."
"Dont needa tell me twice!", Ben immediately turned and ran off.
"Seriously, why now?", Muscle Bound was suddenly grabbed by the tentacle and flung across the lake, before he could land in the water he quickly turned into Sunburn and propelled himself in the air with his fire to keep him from falling in the water. Looking around frantically before being dragged underwater, extinguishing his flames. A large, blue eye stared at him, he gasped and raised his body temperature high enough to force it to let him go.
Sunburn quickly swam up and onto shore, coughing up as his flame reignited. "That sucked.", he said as he walked up and opened the RV door, poking his head in. Before he could say anything, Ben looked at him with a defeated look, telling him to not even bother with that.
Sunburn just sighed and fell backward onto the ground, slapping the Omnitrix on his chest and reverting himself to human. "Great."
"No really, it was humongous with some red glowing eyes!", Ben described the creature as best as he could from memory until Alex smacked him in the back of the head.
"They were blue dipshit!"
"I'm sure it was just some kinda big fish.", Max said as Alex felt personally attacked as he was nearly killed by the thing as Sunburn.
"Yeah, give the mega fish story a rest.", Gwen said annoyed, of course she tolerates Alex's antic but when it's both him and Ben... nah.
Ben furrowed a brow before an idea sparked in his brain, he looked at a bucket of worms and smirked. Before digging his hand in and holding it out to Gwen, who jumped back and gagged. "Breakfast?"
"Ugh, gross. Please tell me that's not lunch.", Gwen crossed her arms as Max smiled.
"Nah, it's bait.", Alex casually said. "Although it might actually be lunch.", he said with a cheeky smile.
"I'll pass on all the fishing. I'll stay here and catch some sun instead.", Gwen said as Alex tilted his head in confusion.
Alex looked at her, then at the cloudy sky. "Okay, I get it but... with what sun?"
Gwen immediately turned red in embarrassment. "Shut up." She turned and walked away as Alex laughed at her expense again.
"She doesn't know what she's missing.", Max said with a sigh before the three turned to a man with greyish-green hair on both the sides of his head as well sideburns. His chin is stubbled. He is wearing a regular tan fisher jacket and olive pants. He has a red baseball cap with a tan rectangle on it. "Captain Shaw?"
"Who wants to know?" Shaw asked with a slight accent.
"I'm Max Tennyson, this is my grandson Ben and this is a family friend of ours.", Max said introducing themselves. "We chartered your boat today for a fishing trip."
"Well what are ye watin' for? An engraved invitation? Get aboard, I ain't got all day.", Shaw said as he walked off to start the boat up.
Ben hopped right on. "Could do with an attitude adjustment.", Alex simply rolled his eyes as he joined in with Max soon after.
On the water, Max just looked out on the lake before shooting a glance at Shaw. "So... anything interesting to catch out there today?"
"More then you can imagine. Looks like your boy is using his breakfast as chum.", Shaw said as Max turned to see Ben's head looking down at the water like he was seasick, Alex was just standing next to him before smacking him on the back of the head.
"I mean when you have actual chum for breakfast is understandable.", Alex said with a casual expression.
Max cocked his eyebrow at Ben. "You okay Ben?"
"Just keeping an eye out for the lake monster that attacked Alex last night. That thing ain't getting the jump on us this time.", Ben said as Alex smacked him on the back of the head.
"Damn straight.", Ben looked at Alex who just stuck his tongue out at him.
"Ben, Alex, it's a fishing trip. Not a monster hunt.", Max said as Alex shrugged.
"It's called the Krakken.", Shaw said as he pulled out a photo and handed it to them. The picture itself reminded them of the Loch Ness Monster, but with the silhouette looking more wider with large tentacles on it. "Been huntin' this thing for years. Folks say my rudders not right."
"No surprise."
Shaw ignored Max's comment. "Sightings go back hundreds of years on this very lake. Some say it's a myth, not me. I'll take you to the spot I laid eyes on the beast, if you've got the stomach for some real adventure.", he said with a little smile as Alex and Ben looked up at Max.
"Fine.", Max relented with a sigh as Alex examined Shaw's equipment.
"Sonar, high definition video set up, ultrasound. Wow, you're really prepared for this thing.", Alex said with a slight nod.
"Yeah, I got it all. I'll find it, mark my words, it won't hide forever.", Shaw said with his eyes facing ahead.
"Okayyy.", Alex turned and walked out and back with the other two.
"I don't want you to put any stock into what Shaw says, I don't think he has both oars in the water... if you know what I mean.", Max said specifically to Ben, though he needed to make sure it felt like he was talking to Alex as well. In which Alex noticed.
"Why? Just because he saw the Krakken to?", Ben crossed his arms as Alex just facepalmed.
They are then nearing their destination, though they find the area cordoned off by yellow tape, wrapped around cones strung along to stop anyone from entering. "Do not enter?! What's goin on?"
"Looks official.", Max crossed his arms looking at it. "Maybe we should turn back."
"Bullshit. This is my lake and I'll go wherever I-", Shaw was cut off.
"Fishing boat, stop where you are.", a man said as another boat pulled up besides them. A tall and tanned man with a hawk-like nose. He has a stern-like face having tear troughs and dark lining around the eyes, giving him an almost tired look. He has short, dark brown hair and a spiky goatee. He was wearing a cyan uniform with black accents and boots with his name and logo on it. "My name is Jonah Melville, the founder of Friends of Fish. We closed this section of the lake for environmental study. You have to turn your boat around."
"Make me then, fish hugger.", Shaw said as Alex was just... confused. Not by Shaw but by Jonah, he just felt off.
"Well since I've chartered the boat for the day, I suppose I'm the boss around here. Ain't that right Captain?", Max said with a smug smile as Shaw just muttered and went back to the steering wheel.
"But what about the Kraken?", Ben asked Max looking up.
Melville just laughed. "The Kraken? Ah that's just an old fish story. I've been at this gig for a while, so anyone who tells you they've seen a monster is casting without a hook.", he said as he and one of his co-workers went back in.

As they are escorted back by Jonah and his crew, the sonar picks up. "The sonar! We've found something.", Shaw looked down at the green screen to see an object heading towards their boat.
"More accurately, something found us. Check it.", Alex pointed out to see a large shark fin. "It's the Kraken.", he said as the fin vanished underneath the water, both Alex, Ben and Max looked down to see a large silhouette speed past them, shaking the boat in the process.
"It's heading for the docks!", Shaw grabbed onto to something so he wouldn't bang his head on any of his equipment... or in general.
"Dammit!", Alex said as both he and the Tennyson duo immediately thought about Gwen. Shaw noticed this and immediately started blaring the air-horn.

Gwen on the other hand was simply sitting at the docks. "Finally, the suns out. And since my big mouth cousin and his partner in crime are nowhere in sight, I can sit back and rel-?", she was interrupted as she heard the air horn coming closer. "Ugh, how many times are they gonna think I'll fall for it-!?"
That's when the Kraken erupted out of the water, it was a giant, bipedal creature which was specified to live underwater. It has four webbed legs and a tail with a fin, and two tentacles coming out of her mouth which act like two extra arms. It has blue eyes, golden teeth, six gills on it's neck, and the upper part of it's body is dark cyan, while the lower part is olive. The Kraken roared as it destroyed the docks, sending anyone standing on it into the water below.
"I told ya! It's real! The Kraken lives!", Shaw exclaimed, looking at the creature though his binoculars.
"Sale now, gloat later. Someone needs to rescue those people.", Max said turning to Alex, who had already leapt off the boat and landed in the water with a green flash.
Drag Racer's head popped up as his visor lifted up. "Wha-? I wanted Lagoon, not Drag Racer. Ah whatever, I can work with this too.", he said as his visor dropped down again. He looked over to see the civilians swimming away frantically. "Here goes."
At that moment, Drag Racer sped off. Resurfacing completely on the water, it took him a bit but he managed to keep himself upright as he ran on the water. He zipped in and grabbed Gwen before zipping off and placing her on the shore. "You okay?"
Gwen coughed. "Yeah, I think so. Thanks for the save.", Drag Racer gave a thumbs up, or what was supposed to be one before he zipped off in a black and blue blur.
Before the Kraken could swipe at a group of them, Drag Racer zipped by and picked them up before zipping away and placing them on the shore. He noticed how the Kraken dove back into the water and chased after the Friends of Fish. "Fine.", he zipped off again and effortlessly caught up to them. Right as the boat was sent back by a large splash from its tail. The Kraken attempted to go in for another attack, but a tornado whirled in front of it, causing the gigantic creature to turn back.
Drag Racer stopped spinning, enough so to have a stance and back flipped onto the boat. Drag Racer, Melville and his co-worker Jack looked over to see the Kraken rip open a tarp, grabbing a crate titled CANNERY and dragging it over. Melville dove in and grabbed the crate, attempting to pull it back but failing. "No you don't."
"My god you look stupid.", Drag Racer shook his head and speed in again, grabbing one of its tentacles and using his speed to go backwards, this let the creature let go and go in for another attack. Drag Racer sped in and slid onto the floor, stopping in time to deliver a a chain of rapid kick to its jaw. Causing the Kraken to swim away.
"Thanks for the hand, and the feet.", Melville said with a smile before Drag Racer looked at him and hissed.
"Seriously? What the fuck was that about? Why would you risk your life for a crate?", Drag Racer asked, crossing his arms.
"Uh... our lunch."
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! You almost got your ass chewed for a buncha sandwiches?", Drag Racer turned his head and saw the tentacle come back and take the create down beneath. "Well, at least it has a snack. See ya.", he said and sped off.
"So.", Alex looked at Gwen and Max with a smug expression, while Ben had a similar smug expression. "How does it feel to be wrong?"
"Just because he was right about the Kraken, doesn't mean I was wrong about him. I want you to stay away from that guy, he's trouble.", Max said looking at Alex specifically. "Let's just leave this to the experts. Like those Friends of Fish guys."
"Max, with all due respect, no. I mean, seriously I'm a kid with a cool ass watch and can turn into aliens. What are they gonna do? Shoot at it with a harpoon?", Alex said with an incredulous look on his face.
"Guess this is just gonna be the one that got away.", Max said as they looked over at Shaw who grumbled annoyed.
"The nerve of those environmentalist fuckers! They shut down the entire lake, nobody tells me where to sail. And nobody's gonna get the way of reeling in the catch of the century.", Shaw said as he got an idea and walked back to his boat.
"Alex! C'mon hurry up!", Gwen banged on the door as Alex hadn't gone out in a 10 minutes minutes. "Did you fall in or something.", Ben just had a smug smile while he was on his bunk.
"Alright calm down.", Max said as he opened the door to see... no one was in there.
Shaw was on his boat, sailing out into the lake before hearing something outside the cockpit. He grabbed an oar and walked out. "No stowaways on my boat, even if ye are a filthy rat.", he lifted a tarp up to see Alex there, sitting with a life-preserver.
"First Mate Tennant reporting for duty sir.", Alex said without a care in the world. Shaw just didn't seem too bothered. "What's the plan, Cap'n?"
Shaw went into the cockpit and stopped the boat once he got far enough, taking out some equipment. "She's probably been chased deep by our fishy friends. Only one way to flush her out, with some live bait.", Shaw said as he was wearing a green diving suit.
"Want me to come with you?", Alex said as Shaw grabbed a harpoon gun. "A simple no would be great too."
"Wish me luck.", Shaw said as he dived into the water and swam off.
He swam through and passed by rock formations and other fish, nearly shooting a floating piece of seaweed but kept on going. He swam until he found a nest of sorts, it was made out of a ship wreckage and had this strange looking round object, appearing to be made of some sort of flesh. Shaw turned and shot at an approaching figure, which dodged. It was just Alex wearing a red diving suit.
Shaw exhaled and gestured to the strange object. Alex looked at in curiosity on what it was as Shaw decided to swim back up. He noticed an armed speed boat next to him. "Great.", he rolled his eyes and climbed up the ladder on the side anyways and as expected he was yanked up and thrown onto the wooden planks.
"Don't cha know night diving is dangerous old timer? Unless of course you went with a friend.", a man said. There were three aboard, all wearing a silver diving suit with an oxygen pack and belts with pockets. Wearing a silver mask with black goggles.
"I ain't got any friends.", Shaw said as two of them went over and held him up.
"Oh and with such a sparkling personality like yours? I'm surprised.", the man said sarcastically. "And don't worry about us wanting anything you have. All we need to know is what did you see down there?"
"Nothin. Same as always.", Shaw said with a mocking smile before the man cocked his fist and knocked him unconscious, along with sending a tooth flying out.
"Had to be sure.", the man took off his diving mask to reveal it was Melville himself. Little did he know, Alex was watching him with an unsurprised look. "Take this old fucker with us, see if he knows anything back at the Cannery. We'll come back later and snag the rest of the eggs.", he said as he pulled out something and threw it into the water. "In the meantime.", Melville hopped into his speed boat before activating something and throwing it onto Shaw's boat. "I think is boat just got lost at sea.", he said as the speed boat sped off.
Alex dove under water as the boat exploded, he managed to get deep enough so the debris wouldn't hit him as hard. He smiled as he rolled up his sleeve, activating the Omnitrix.

"Is that a bird?", Duane looked out of the cockpit and pointed at an approaching creature.
"Nah, looks more like a plane.", Jack said with a slight Irish accent.
Melville's eyes widened as Cold Soar finally came into view. "It's a moth! Man the harpoons!"
"Where do you think you're going?", Cold Soar asked as Jack and Diane opened fire at him. The moth-like alien simply went intangible to dodge the blasts before shooting ice shards at the nozzles. Melville went into the cockpit and dropped the depths charges.
Cold Soar simply flew straight through the explosions, going intangible again to phase through a tree landing on him as he kept chasing after. Melville looked out the window as Jack and Duane aimed at the alien again. Melville briefly saw a fin rise up from the water before vanishing underneath again. "Dammit! It's getting too crowded around here. Dump this trash overboard."
Duane dropped his gun and threw a still unconscious Shaw overboard and sped off. Cold Soar used his feet and grabbed Shaw, pulling him out the water as he narrowed his eyes. "Wimps.", he said before flying off.
"Any sign of Alex and Shaw?", Max asked Gwen as she and Ben used binoculars to look out for one of Alex's aliens just in case.
"Not yet.", Gwen shook her head.
"Actually yeah.", Ben said pointing up as Cold Soar dropped Shaw on the ground once he got close enough. The Omnitrix flashed green as Alex was reverted to human.

"The Kraken's nest had an egg in it, or at least what I can assume is an egg. But I think that's why she's been attacking, Jonah's stealing her eggs.", Alex said as he knew they were suspicious.
"I think I know who Jonah is.", Gwen said as she had done some research on Friends of Fish. "Turns out FoF isn't listed on any environmental website. But, Jonah Melville isn't a friend of any kind of wildlife. He travels around the world, poached endangered or rare animals then crates them up and sells them."
"Wait, Alex, didn't you say there was a crate on their ship before?", Ben asked as Alex's eyes widened.
"So I guess they took one of her eggs before.", Alex said scratching his chin.
"Looks like we're both a little too hard headed.", Max said shooting an apologetic glance at Alex, who smiled.
"Let's go stop em, I heard them talking about some sort of Cannery.", Alex said crossing his arms.
Shaw shot up. "All this talk doesn't mean shit to me. Mommy or not, that beast is mine. Let's go, I have spare boat down at the docks.", Shaw said as he walked out the RV. The four of them looked at each other with an equally mischievous grin as they followed him.
Gwen pulled out her phone and dialed the police as they were led to the docks. Ben, Max and Alex hopped in the boat with Gwen joining as soon as she got off the phone. "It'll take a while before the police can get here."
As soon as Shaw untied the boat, it sped off. "What're you doin! Get back here! You don't know what you're doing, a monsters a monster! And I know one when I see it.", he was met by Alex waving at him mockingly as he vanished into the distance. Shaw just looked over, seeing a rowboat nearby.
A crane hovered over the water as it pulled up a mini sub, which looked surprisingly high tech and hovered it over the wooden planks of the Cannery, enough so that Jack could grab the egg it held. Before slipping and dropping it. "Careful you dumbass or you'll be cleaning up the worlds most expensive omelette!", Melville said as he climbed out of the mini sub.
"Oh shut the fuck up Jonah, this is why you're not invited to my wedding.", Jack said as he picked up the egg and loaded it into a container with another identical egg.
"Hey I'm the one who set you up with her!", Jonah smacked him on the back of the head. "Besides, after we sell these babies. You and Kayla will be sitting back in the Bahamas.", he said looking at the eggs.
Underneath the Cannery, the boat finally arrives with the quartet on it. Max, Gwen and Ben climbed up the ladder with Alex staying on the boat. "You guys find the eggs."
"What about you?", Gwen asked looking down as Ben just flicked her ankle to keep going, which she did.
"I'm gonna kick some ass of course.", Alex said as he activated the Omnitrix, scrolling past his aliens before finding the one necessary for the situation and transforming into Lagoon. An alien that shares a number of traits with Earth's aquatic life, such as an alligator, an eel, an anglerfish, and a shark. His body was mostly grey and he had four-fingered hands, with long fins on his arms and back, as well as a the beginnings of a "beard" resembling aquatic plantlife. He wore a black and green loincloth, along with a black water breathing device around his gills, such it had large tubes filled with water with a bit of silver in between them. The Omnitrix was located on the center of the device.
Lagoon smiled and leapt into the water as soon as the Kraken shot up from the water and bursted onto the walkway of the cannery.
The Kraken roared at the three poachers. "The bigger the Kraken, bigger the payday.", Melville said as he ran and hopped into his mini sub. Jack started shooting at the creature as Duane just ran off. The Kraken just stood there unbothered before smacking Jack into the water.
Right as she was about to grab her eggs Jonah swooped in and grabbed them, the Kraken attempted to bite him but the crane moved him further back as he kept shooting at her. Suddenly, Lagoon leapt out of the water, landing directly on the mini sub. "You wanna mess with a monster? Try me on for size.", Lagoon said in his deep and raspy voice.
Jonah looked at him unbothered as Lagoon went to take the container out of his hands. Jonah pointed one of his blasters at him but it was simply ripped off by Lagoon's powerful jaw strength combined with his teeth. The fish alien forced the clamp to let go and grabbed onto the container as he was sent plummeting, but Jonah caught up and punched him, dropping the container and thus shattering it, letting the eggs roll to the edge of the broken wooden planks.

Inside the cannery, Ben, Gwen and Max sneak around in an attempt to catch one of the henchmen off-guard. He's currently picking up a rather large weapon off of a rack. As they sneak in, Max makes use of hand signs, probably associated with some sort of government training. "Yeah like we totally understand this.", Ben thought to himself.
Jack had climbed up the ladder and pointed a gun at them. Max looked at him with an eye roll and popped his knuckles. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way.", The Krakken's tail pokes through the building at the right moment to provide a distraction, allowing Ben, Gwen and Max to ride on hooks attached to the ceiling. As they pass by Jack, the Krakken's tail sends him back into the water. Duane ran out due to the commotion, however he was kicked in the face by Max, followed up with a kick to his jaw by Ben with Gwen knocking him onto the floor by kicking his chest.
"Nice.", Gwen looked at Ben who dusted the dirt off his shoulder confidently.

Lagoon ran at the eggs as Melville was going after them too, however the tail of the Kraken lifted them up. "My eggs!", Melville yelled out as he was lifted up quickly and attempted to grab the eggs. However Lagoon leapt up and grabbed the eggs.
"They aren't your eggs!", Lagoon said as Melville's mini sub lands on top of him, causing him to let go of the eggs.
Melville started punching Lagoon in the face. "Rescuing babies, very heroic. But not very smart-!", Melville was stopped as one the arms were caught.
"You should work on your banter.", Lagoon said as he started to attack him in retaliation. Using his incredible superhuman strength to dent the mini sub, Melville punched him back and sped off after the eggs, grabbing them and kept going. Lagoon rubbed his head before merging his legs and loincloth together to form a fish like tail.
Melville smirked at the eggs before a clawed hand grabbed onto the glass of the mini sub. "Fuck off!", he managed to get Lagoon off but he effortlessly caught up to him again, forcing him to let go and caught the eggs in his massive jaw before swimming away.
Lagoon turned and heard the Kraken roar at him. He dodged one of the tentacles but he was swatted into the rocky underwater terrain, letting the eggs go and plop back onto their mothers tendrils as she sped off with Melville after her. Lagoon quickly recovered and swam off after them.
Melville caught up the Kraken, using a sort of device to disturb her and force her to let go. Speeding by and grabbing the eggs before being tackled into the sunken boat of Shaw by Lagoon. The poacher threw Lagoon off and attempted to attack him again before being hit by an anchor.
Using this minor distraction, Lagoon attempted to rip the bigger arm of the mini sub before being electrocuted, allowing Melville to speed off again. Lagoon transformed his tail back into legs as he grabbed the anchor, using it similar to a lasso he used the end of it to rip off the same arm that electrocuted him. Causing Melville to let go once again as he was yanked back, Lagoon sped past with his tail again and grabbed the eggs in his mouth again as the creature swatted Melville again and chased after him.
Lagoon and the Kraken arrive at the nest, with Lagoon quickly and gently placing the eggs where they were prior. The Kraken stopped and didn't attack him further, appeased at its children returning to their nest. Melville sped in again, attempting to steal her eggs again but the Kraken quickly bit the mini sub in half.
Melville then attempts to stab the Kraken, only to have his knife break. The Kraken roared and was about to eat Melville, before Lagoon gets in between them. The Kraken stops, looking at the creature for a second and stomped back to her eggs, laying down and cuddling next to them.
Melville looked at Lagoon and shrugged before he was swiftly knocked out by an uppercut. Swimming back up with him, he hung the poacher on a piece of the wreckage. "Hang here for a while until the police find a nice dry cell for ya.", Lagoon crossed his arms before back flipping back into the water.
"Good riddance to trash.", Max said as Ben and Gwen stood next to him.
"I caught one! I finally got me a Kraken. One of the eggs must've hatched, imagine this trophy mounted on my wall!", Shaw shows up on his rowboat, having caught something in a net. Which was Lagoon, the Omnitrix started blinking and he exploded in a green flash.
Ben snickered. "I think you wanna look again."
Shaw lifted up his lantern and looked at the net, in which had Alex waving at him instead of his greatest catch. "But... I could've sworn.
