An Eventful Dinner
Okay so in this chapter my friends, Blu, Alex, Jewel and Siax have all cleaned themselves up and prepared themselves for dinner this evening! Alex has spent the last hour or so learning about Siax's heritage in Egypt and Jewel and Siax had a little falling out before making things right with one another! As for Keith, he is now making a deal with a military macaw to try and get rid of Alex and Blu so that the two of them can go after their wives! So…how do you think dinner will go? Why don't we find out? Shalllll weee?
Night time was slowly approaching in Cairo…and our feathery friends were finishing up with their looks as they get ready for dinner with the king and queen. Siax's parents of course!
Blu straightened his feathers, making them look all clean and shiny. He also wore a headdress that Donkor insisted that he wore. He also rinsed and cleaned his talons and beak to make them look presentable for the evening.
Alex tidied up his feathers and used some sap to moisturise his head and head feathers. He also wore a silk scarf around his neck that Donkor told him was his favourite scarf. He wouldn't turn that offer down as he wanted to impress him.
Siax tidied and shined up her feathers, wearing some facial paint oh her face which made her eyes look even more beautiful. She also wore a headdress that Mandisa gave her, as its what a princess would wear on special occasions.
Jewel went for the natural look and cleaned her feathers, brushing them down neatly making them look all clean and shiny. She told Mandisa she likes wearing a flower in her head feathers, so she decided to give her an extremely rare orchid to wear in her head feathers. Which made her smile brightly, and she also gave the queen a hug and thanked her warmly.
"Thank you Mandisa! It's really beautiful!" Jewel cooed as she admired her look in a mirror, performing a little twirl. Making Siax and her mother sigh in awe.
"My my my! You look incredible…sorry what's your name again? I'm being incredibly rude aren't I?" The queen asked the blue female while covering her face with her wing.
"My name is Jewel! You're not being rude at all! I get why you didn't get my name, because I didn't introduce myself properly!"
"Thank you Jewel…so…how long have you been with Blu for?"
"A few years now! We actually have three kids together as well! And erm…possibly…more?" Jewel spoke the last part with a little bit of nerves.
Siax immediately went wide eyed when she heard what her friend just said…and she slowly approached her and placed a wing on Jewel's belly.
"Jewel…are you…" She first started saying in a soft tone. But then Jewel started nodding her head in excitement. "Are you…Are you really pregnant again?"
"Yep! We are having another baby! Or babies for that matter!" Jewel squealed in delight, as Siax wrapped her wings around her and jumped up and down with her with joy.
"That's fantastic news! Does Blu know?" Siax asked cheerfully as they stopped jumping.
"No…I was going to tell him tonight but I don't want to intrude during dinner!"
"Are you kidding?" Mandisa interrupted her and grasped both her wings with hers softly. "There's no better time than now to tell him! I think he will be overjoyed! He'd be crazy if he wouldn't be!"
"You think?" Jewel asked unsurely as she arched a curious eyebrow. "He's been known to kind of freak out about these kind of things? Especially since we are the last of our kind? We've been trying to repopulate the species for years!"
"Well if you don't tell him…then I'd be too excited to keep it inside! Please! I must insist that you tell your husband the remarkable news! You are having more children!" Mandisa beamed as she clapped her wings together, and smiled at the thought of it.
"Well…I suppose it wouldn't hurt to tell him the good news?"
"Excellent! Let's head to the main hall now! I think my husband and the others will be waiting for us!" The queen beamed as they left the room to rejoin their husbands.
Meanwhile…With Blu, Alex and Donkor…
"Blu, I'm telling you that my beak is already shiny enough! Will you stop trying to scrub it with that brush thing?" Alex annoyingly spoke to his friend. Pushing the small brush away, every opportunity he could.
"I'm sorry buddy! It's just that I want you to really shine! You know? Showcase your look! Present yourself in a grand fashion! Make the king and queen go…WOW! He is stunning!" Blu replied in excitement as he placed the brush down on the floor.
"For the love of samba Blu! You sound just like Martin! Or are you hiding something personal from me?" Alex joked with him, as Blu chuckled in amusement and patted him on the back.
"Yeah I know! Don't tell Jewel about this!" Blu replied while chuckling as the two of them just finished prepping themselves in front of a small mirror. "So…Have you learned enough from me to impress your parents in law?"
"I think so? I hope I don't mess any of the lines up! I really want to impress Siax's parents so badly! I've never been more nervous for anything in my entire life!" Alex responded a little unsurely, before checking his feathers for any bad areas or old feathers. "Do I look okay? You don't think I used too much sap do you?"
"I put a little on my head feathers too! Raul was definitely right about that, it definitely serves as a good moisturiser! Humans should use it on themselves like we do!"
"Erm Blu? Humans do use moisturiser! They call it…moisturiser!" The snowy owl male chuckled in amusement, adjusting his scarf slightly to the left. "What do you think about that…Keith, guy?"
"Besides being an asshole? Not much to say at the least? Why do you ask?" Blu replied as he finally finished preparing himself.
"Blu…I think he's trying to steal Siax from me!" Alex spoke up while feeling a little paranoid at the thought of it. "And I think he's up to no good! We have to keep an eye on him at all costs!"
"What? Oh come on Alex? Are you sure it's not just in your head?" The blue spix's male chuckled again, while placing a wing on his shoulder. "Why would be go through all that trouble just to steal Siax from you?"
"Blu…he pushed me over and he threatened to hurt me! Plus he has been staring at Siax the whole time!"
"Are you sure?"
"Positive! I'm telling you…Keith is…"
"Keith is what?" Both Alex and Blu turned around to see the king entering the room with a bright smile on his beak.
"Ughh…Ughhh…A great guy! Yeah! Alex was telling me that he thinks he's a great guy!" Blu beamed in a panic as he watched Siax's father walk into the room all fully prepared.
"Yeah he is a good guy! Did you know that he found a mole in the guards at our home! He banished him, because he betrayed us to work for Armando! But Keith was there to save the day!" Donkor beamed as he patted Blu and Alex on their shoulders.
"Oh how lovely!" Alex sarcastically spoke in a subtle tone, to camouflage it to make it look like it wasn't sarcasm.
"Anyway, lets get to dinner! Our chef Ganzo makes the best food in all of Egypt!" Donkor beamed as the two of them left the room. But Blu turned around for a pout second as he just thought of something strange.
"Erm…Ganzo is a Brazilian name? Is he also from Brazil?" Blu asked curiously as he tilted his head to the side.
"Yes! How did you know that?"
"It's a common Brazilian name! I know a few birds back home that have that name, so it's pretty easy to know!"
"Is there anything that you don't know?" Donkor chuckled while ushering him out of the room. Making Alex sigh heavily and follow them a few paces behind.
In The Dining Hall…
Siax and Jewel sat down at the dinner table with their wings placed firmly in front of them. Mandisa knew that her husband wanted Blu to sit next to Siax while Jewel sat next to Alex, but because of Jewel's…interesting news! She decided to sit Jewel next to Blu when he comes in, and Siax will sit next to her husband.
"I hope that's okay Jewel? I haven't made too much of a fuss have I?" Siax whispered to her friend while stroking back her head feathers.
"Don't worry! You look great! Alex is going to be astonished by you!" The blue spix's female replied as she noticed the guys entering the room. "Ahhh, here they are now!"
Blu and Alex slowly strolled into the room, with Donkor walking just behind them. And as soon as their eyes fell upon their respected wives, both of their jaws dropped. Making the three females in the room giggle in amusement.
"Well boys? How do your wives look? Aren't they astonishing?" Mandisa clapped her wings together, while her husband flew up to her and gave her a peck on the cheek.
"Hummaaahidajjjaasawaa…" Blu murmured as he gazed at his wife in complete awe…he gazed at her for so long that he forgot that there were more of them in the room. "Ohhh…wow…mmmm…now I'm in heat…"
"Wait…PFTTTT! WHAT?!" Alex, Siax, Donkor and Mandisa burst into laughter when they heard him say this, and he immediately realised that they weren't alone. Making him blush uncontrollably.
"HAHAHAHA! Oh Blu! You slay me!" Siax giggled louder than any of them and patted Blu on the back, before walking up to Alex.
"You are so funny!" Donkor tapped his wing on the table as Mandisa cried in laughter into his shoulder.
"I'm so so sorry! I just…" Blu tried to apologise about his little moment of embarrassment there. But luckily Donkor interrupted to save him from further humiliation.
"It's okay Blu! I said that exact same thing on my first meeting with my wife! All of my friends burst into laughter and wouldn't stop teasing me for weeks! Great minds think alike eh?" The king chuckled and nudged the young macaw slightly.
"Ughhh…even when he says something inappropriate they still love him?!" Alex grunted in annoyance, before sitting down on the seat next to Siax.
Donkor looked over to Alex and saw what he was doing, and it made him scratch the back of his head nervously.
"Erm…honey? Wasn't Blu supposed to be sitting there?" He asked his wife who shook her head slightly, and whispered something in his ear privately. Making him go wide eyed in surprise, and immediately retreated from her beak. "Okay, woah this is a new exciting thing to happen! Blu, why don't you sit on that seat right there next to your lovely wife!"
"Sure! No problem!" Blu slowly walked over to his wife, and continued to stare at her in awe. So much that he stopped looking where he was going and tripped over the end of a carpet, making him land flat on his face.
"Oh my samba Blu! Are you okay?" Jewel slowly leaned over and picked him up. "Honey, what happened?"
"Sorry sweetie! You just look…wow! I…I couldn't focus!" Blu replied a little embarrassed, and sat down on the chair that was next to hers.
"Do you need ice? Because my servants can get that for you?" Mandisa asked in concern as she lifted her wing up.
"Oh no, honestly it's no trouble! I trip over every now and then! It's no big deal!"
"See, that's why I love him! So clumsy, yet so humble!" Jewel cooed softly, and kissed him lightly on his nose. "Does that feel better Bluey?"
"Yes…very much so!" Blu narrowed his eyes and chuckled, before going in for another kiss.
"AHEM!"
Blu and Jewel both turned around to see Siax, and her parents staring at them with wide grins on their beaks. Although you could say that Mandisa is…shaking with excitement.
"What?" Blu asked them curiously with a small smile, staring at the three amused owls. Trying to get an understanding as to what they found so funny. "Have I got something wrong with my feathers?"
"No! Actually…Jewel? Why don't you tell us your news? Before we carry on with dinner?" Siax egged her friend on as she placed her head in her wings.
"What news?" The snowy owl asked in concern, twiddling both his wingtips together. "Oh my god…you're dying?"
"Wait…what? NO!" Jewel looked at him in disgust when she heard this. "What makes you think that I was going to say that I am dying?"
"I don't know? My wife says you have big news? So…what is the big news?"
"So…dying is the first thing that your mind comes to?" Siax giggled cutely, and wrapped her wings around him. "I love how sometimes you say things that make no sense whatsoever!"
"Well, originally my guess is that you were going to tell us that you are cheating on Blu? But then again, it wouldn't surprise us!" Alex joked as himself and Siax shared a quick little laugh.
Blu however stuck his middle wingtip up at him and laughed sarcastically. "Hahaha Screw you!"
"Seriously though! Just tell us!" Siax spoke up with a little impatience, because she wanted Jewel to tell her husband already.
"Okay! Okay!" Jewel giggled slightly, and then placed her left wing on top of Blu's right wing. Smiling at him lovingly. "So…honey! You know that…we will be going home in a week…and we have talked about the possibility of moving into a bigger place if we ever had more children?" She started off quite smoothly, as she was expecting Blu to immediately flip out.
"Y-Yeah? Where are you going with this?" Blu asked again with more confusion in his voice.
"Okay, I'm just going to say it! Like…pulling a knife out of your shoulder!"
"What? Tell me?" Blu smoothly asked her with a bright smile on his beak. "What's on your mind?"
"Here goes…Blu…I'm pregnant!" Jewel beamed happily while waving her wings around to show excitement.
"What?!" Blu responded with eyes the size of gold balls, and his beak formed a wide smile. "Are you…Are you serious? You're not pulling my wing are you?" Blu spoke the last sentence with a curious eyebrow as he stood up onto his talons.
Jewel grasped one of his wings and placed it on her abdomen. Then she pressed his wing down to show that she wasn't kidding. "You feel that?"
"There's…There's three lumps in there? Three?! We are having three more kids?!" Blu started to panic a little bit, because he was now overthinking this whole thing. "THREE?!"
"Blu honey! Relax! What's the problem?" Jewel tried to calm her husband down the best she could, but it wasn't working at all.
"Jewel…Jewel Jewel Jewel! THREE KIDS?! That means we will have SIX in total?!" Blu piped up as he placed his wings on his head to show how anxious he was.
Siax, Alex, Donkor and Mandisa sat there watching the two of them behave like this. Where Alex found this a little amusing, Siax and her parents were a little surprised that Blu was panicking.
"Erm…should we be listening to this?" Siax whispered to the snowy owl male, who continued snickering. Which earned him a slap from the burrowing owl female. "Honey? This is a serious matter here!"
"What? I thought we always found it hilarious when Blu panics?" Alex replied with a pained glare, rubbing his sore neck.
"You wouldn't laugh if it was me who was having three babies wouldn't you?"
"Yeah but…"
"No buts mister! Just go over there, and support your friend!" Siax ordered him with an angry glare. "Move it, hot shot!"
"Yes dear…" Alex responded in defeat, as he walked over to his blue friend and placed a comforting wing on Blu's shoulder. "Hey, come on buddy? It's not like you'll be doing all of this alone?"
"What? What do you mean?" He asked seriously as he turned to face him in fear.
"When the new babies come along, you say the word, and myself and Siax could watch Bia, Carla and Tiago whenever you need us? That's what friends are for!" The snowy owl smiled at his friend, patting him on the shoulder.
Blu slowly but surely began to calm down, and his breathing started to slow down too. Until he got to the point where he just needed a comforting hug from his wife.
Jewel wrapped her wings around him softly, and gave him a kiss on the beak. Making Siax and her parents sigh in awe. "Awwwww!"
"Look Blu…I know this is really scary? I'm scared too! But how about we just figure it out together…right?" The blue female softly whispered while tilting her head to the side.
"Blu…" The blue male turned back around to face Alex who placed both his wings on his shoulders. "Me and Siax will be here for you no matter what!"
He smiled at his good friend and brought him in for a man hug. "Thank you Alex! You are the best friend any bird could possibly have!"
"Oh…you are the best friend any bird could have too!" Alex responded as the two of them shared a warm hug. "I love you bro!"
"Love you too…bro!" Blu smiler happily, as the two of them separated from the hug.
"Pffft, gay!" Jewel whispered under her breath, but clearly it wasn't quietly enough as both of them heard her, and gave her blank stares. Jewel gulped nervously and sat back down in her seat. "Woah, what is holding up dinner? I'm starving!"
"Oh, so when two females hug and say it's good! Two guys hugging means we are gay? That would make you a lesbian!" Alex snapped at the blue female, who giggled and blushed at their comment.
"Oh relax! I'm only kidding around! But seriously though…I am really hungry!"
"I bet you are!" Mandisa giggled while sitting up against the back of her seat.
"Okay! Okay! I'd like to propose a toast!" Donkor declared as he stood up and rose a glass in his wing, followed by the rest of them who all returned to their seats. "To Blu and Jewel, who will have three new babies coming into the world! And to my lovely desert flower, who has not only returned to visit our family! But returned with a strapping young man in her life! Alex! To Blu, Jewel, Siax and Alex!"
"Here! Here!" Everyone simultaneously chanted before they all took a sip from their drinks, with Jewel only having mango juice.
Suddenly, Keith walks into the room with a spear in his wing. And the chef Ganzo walked just besides him.
"Dinner, is served! I hope you guys like exotic fruits and a mixed variety of nuts?" Ganzo beamed in a cheery tone, as himself and Keith started placing food around the table for the birds in question.
The table was decorated with fruits such as pomegranates, grapefruits, nectarines, peaches, mangoes, oranges and so many more! As well as a large variety of peanuts, cashews, walnuts, and the chef's personal favourite…Brazil nuts!
"Bon-appetit!"
Everyone started digging in to the delicacies that were in front of them. Blu and Siax were eating rather slowly because they were enjoying the mangoes in front of them.
Alex and Siax's parents were really enjoying the mixed nuts, especially Alex as he really enjoyed having the walnuts.
"Wow! These are great! Where did you get these?" The snowy owl male pondered as he flicked another nut into his beak.
"Our chef found them at some old market in the city! He likes to go there to gather food when the humans aren't looking!" Mandisa responded while enjoying her cashews. "Hey, did we get any Brazil nuts on the table?"
"Yeah? Wait…where did they go?" The chef asked in surprise as he looked around the table…but after a few seconds of looking…he saw where they were. "Found them…"
Jewel was going to town on those Brazil nuts. She was completely stuffing her beak with as many as she could!
The king and queen were rather impressed with her incredible appetite this evening. But as for Blu, he knew that it was only because she was eating for four birds now.
"Well…she's definitely hungry then?" Keith remarked with a chuckle as he gazed at the blue female.
"Well Keith! My friend is pregnant! So you know that she has a big appetite now!" Alex replied a little rudely, grasping Siax's wing with his…making his presence with his wife known.
"Pregnant you say? Well congratulations!" The barn owl congratulated the blue female, who lifted her head up for a split second to nod in his direction. Before devouring a mango rather quickly. "Well…Looks like he will be rather disappointed then?" Keith spoke to himself as he took a look outside.
"Who will be disappointed Keith?" Siax wondered as she turned to face her childhood friend.
"Ughhh…Alex! Will be disappointed because he's probably jealous that he hasn't got kids of his own?" Keith lied, but in a mocking way while maliciously staring at the snowy owl male. Who did his absolute best to keep his cool.
"Really I'm fine! We aren't in any rush to have children! Are we honey?" Alex politely asked his wife, who nodded her head in agreement as she enjoyed devouring a piece of mango.
"Well…I actually came in here for…another reason?" Keith started speaking again, as he nodded his head towards Donkor.
"What is it Keith? Is that military prick back again?"
"HONEY!" Mandisa sternly spoke good her husband, slapping him on his talon. "No cursing at the dinner table!"
"Military prick?" Blu thought to himself, while continuing to much on a bunch of red grapes.
"Erm no your majesty! I'm actually here to…offer a chance for us to show Blu and Alex the sights? You know? Show this little guy right here more about our country?" Keith calmly spoke, as he narrowed his eyes at Alex.
"Oh, what a marvellous idea Keith! I tell you what? Honey, why don't you go on a morning flight with Alex and Blu around our beautiful home! And I could keep Jewel and Siax company? Have like a girls day? What do you think girls?" Mandisa asked her daughter and Jewel with excitement.
"That actually does sound very exciting! How about you Jewel?" The burrowing owl female asked her close friend, who just finished eating her second mango. "JEWEL!"
"Mmmmm…sorry? What were you girls asking me?" Jewel asked curiously, while wiping the food from her beak.
"Donkor and Keith are going to show us around some of the sights! Then you can have a girls day with Mandisa and Siax? What do you think sweetie?" Blu beamed, kissing her on the cheek. "Mmmmm, tastes like mango!" He seductively spoke, making her giggle again.
"That sounds great! But you know what? I'm actually feeling a little tired right now? Do you mind if myself and Blu can hit the head for a while?" Jewel asked politely as she cleaned the food off her beak, and Blu helped her stand up.
"Why would you want to hit your head? You have a beautiful head?" Donkor asked curiously, not getting the metaphor that Jewel used.
"No daddy! It's a metaphor? It means…get some sleep?" Siax corrected her father, while giggling in amusement.
"Oh…well sure? Keith, can you please escort Blu and Jewel to their room that we've set up for them?" Mandisa asked kindly to their chief of the guards.
"As you wish your majesty! Come along lovebirds! I shall take you to your room for the night!" The muscular barn owl responded like a soldier. Performed a slow 360 turn, and began marching out of the room.
"Goodnight guys! We'll see you in the morning!" Blu wished everyone a good night, and wrapped a wing around his wife, who rested her head on his shoulder. As the two of them left the room after Keith.
After a few seconds had passed, Siax also felt a little tiredness, and decided to also turn in for the night.
"We better head to bed too mom and dad! Are me and Alex staying in my old room tonight?" She cooed softly, as Alex finished licking his beak after devouring his dinner.
"Yes, I hope you like how we set it up Alex! If you don't like it then we could always change it?" Donkor offered while his servants started clearing the table in front of them.
"No need sir! I'm happy as long as your daughter is right besides me!" Alex sweetly replied as he took a bow, before Siax giggled and escorted him out of the room.
The king and queen smiled at the owl couple as they left the room, and Mandisa laid her head on Donkor's shoulder.
"That Alex is something special isn't he my love?" Mandisa whispered to her husband as she closed her eyes in bliss.
"He sure is my love! Now, let's get to bed too! Because I'm feeling a little tired myself!" He replied smoothly, as the two of them also left the room.
"Great! Now I have got myself some leftovers!" Ganzo was the only one left standing in the room. He cleared up some of the leftovers on the table, and he walked out the back entrance to enjoy his meal.
To Blu And Jewel…
"Here you are lovebirds! Sorry if it's not as cosy as your home back in…Rio was it?" Keith asked the blue macaw couple as they slowly walked inside.
"No, it's perfect Keith! Thank you!" Jewel sweetly thanked the guard, who nodded his head in respect and left the room in a hurry. Which confused the blue female. "Huh? Wonder where he's off to in a hurry?"
"Probably to cause some more trouble!" Blu replied sombrely, as he climbed onto the bed. "Woah! This is what I call luxurious! Come on honey!"
"Okay! WEEEEE!" Jewel flapped her wings and performed a front flip in the air before landing on the bed next to Blu. But what she didn't realise…was that the bed was quite…springy!
"WOAH!" Blu screamed as he ended up shooting up in the air like a rocket, and he banged his head on the ceiling. Then he landed on his head right next to his wife. "Ouch!"
"Oh my god are you okay?" Jewel asked in concern, as he moved into a more comfortable position and crawled next to his wife.
"I didn't think that the bed would be that bouncy?" Blu joked around, causing the two of them to share a little laugh together.
The two of them laid down together, with Jewel resting her head on Blu's chest, with both his wings wrapped around her.
"Wow…our first night in Egypt! See Jewel? I told you it was going to be a lot of fun, didn't I?"
"I must admit…I am actually having a wonderful time! But not just because I'm here with you and our friends in this beautiful place! But…because I finally get to raise three more kids with you!" Jewel sweetly spoke and kissed him on the head. "Are you sure you're okay with this? Because I don't want us to freak out about this?"
"Honey…I am okay! I promise you!" Blu reassured her with a warm smile.
"Are you sure?" Once again she asked in concern, but Blu rubbed her belly affectionately, and kissed her on the beak.
"Jewel, I know I freaked out a little during dinner? But I think it was because it took me by surprise! But the fact that Alex and Siax want to help out too? Just goes to show you that we will be okay!"
"We will be okay! We did great with Carla, Bia and Tiago? But now they are all growing up so fast! So it's a nice change of pace to start all over again? Especially while it's fresh in our minds?"
"Yeah!" Blu replied simply before resting his chin on her head. "Erm…Jewel? If we had…two boys…and one girl…could I name the boys this time?" Blu asked politely, while give her puppy dog eyes. "Only because you got to name Tiago and Carla?"
"Of course you can! What names were you thinking?" Jewel asked curiously, while looking up at him slightly.
"I was kind of thinking for one of them…Eduardo?" Blu dreamily smiled at his wife, holding her a little closer to him.
Jewel gasped in surprise when he said the name of her father. It made her feel a bit emotional about it. Because she thought it was the sweetest thing that Blu had ever done for her. "After my father? Blu…I love it!"
"I knew you would! How about the girl? What would you name the girl?"
"I was thinking maybe…Alice!" Jewel joked while staring at her husband, who immediately went wide eyed in a panicked way. "Ahhh! You should've seen your face!"
"Oh haha very funny!" Blu narrowed his eyes with an unamused glare.
"Seriously though…maybe…Sky? Like…if her feathers were sky blue?"
"That's a good one!"
"Okay your turn! How about the other boy?"
"Oh…well…there is a name that I'm thinking? But I don't know wether it would be appropriate to…"
"Is it…Rafael?" Jewel smirked at the moment where Blu just opened his beak in surprise. "It's okay…I think that would be a perfect name!"
"Really? You wouldn't mind?"
"Of course! He was my good friend too you know? I think Rafael is the perfect choice!"
"Thank you sweetie! Now…how about we get some sleep?"
"That sounds like a plan!" Jewel replied dreamily, as the two of them cuddled together in warmth on the bed. The two of them exchanged a quick kiss, and then they slowly drifted off to sleep to join the world of dreams.
Finally…We Return To Siax And Alex…
Our lovely owl couple, were also cuddling together in their bed together in Siax's old room.
While the burrowing owl female was getting herself into a comfy position on Alex's chest feathers, her husband was admiring the look around the room. Which made her quite curious as to what he was looking at.
"Something the matter honey?" Siax enjoyed seeing her husband admire her room with so much interest.
"Oh nothing, just the ancient structure in this room is impeccable! I'm surprised you don't have any belly dancing medals or something? Do they do them? They SHOULD do them!" Alex emphasised while nodding his head at her, who only gave him a weird look.
"Honey…have you been licking the wall or something?"
"What? Why would you think that?" Alex replied with a very mild chuckle.
"Since when have you asked about my belly dancing?"
"Well, after dinner tonight and on the plane journey here, I figured that I should know more about your heritage? Because it could give me an insight about what you went through!"
"Honey…I'm so thrilled to hear you say that!" Siax cooed softly and nuzzled her face against his.
"If you want, we can talk about it before we go to sleep? Please tell me anything! I'm all ears!" Alex beamed with a bright smile, as he leaned on the pillow with his wing and rested his head on top of it.
Siax then nodded her head in agreement, and the two of them then proceeded to talk about Siax's past a bit more. And Alex paid attention to everything that she was saying, to understand a little bit more about her past.
Meanwhile…
Keith stood just outside of her room, staring through the hole in the wall. Shaking violently with rage.
"Nearly time my little sunflower! You will be mine!" He whispered to himself, as he once again flew out of the back exit.
There standing at the same wall, was the same military macaw from before. He looked pretty pissed off, as he stomped his talon on the floor.
"Keith, I've been waiting here for an hour? Where were you?!" He impatiently asked while shaking his head from side to side to show his inner frustration.
"Relax! Everything is going according to plan! But there's just…one little problem!"
"Yeah, the blue girl is already pregnant! I'm not doing that to her! You know I have a soft spot for family? Especially after I lost my…" The bird was about to say before he rudely got cut off by a punch from Keith.
"Yes, you lost your wife and kids to Armando! Boo hoo hoo! What are you gonna do? Go crying to Armando? Oh…wait…he abandoned you! I knew you were useless! Just like your cousins!" Keith replied angrily as he turned away from him and started walking away.
"Hey! He did not abandon me! I just couldn't take it anymore! I deserve to be treated with respect!"
"Hahaha! Respect? Oh no Chase! You just chickened out when the fight got too intense! Like what you are doing right now!" Keith mocked him while continuing to walk away from the military macaw male. "Oh…and just so you know? I'm the one who got you banished from here! I was also the one who…banished your wife!" Keith cackled evilly before walking back inside the building, locking the doors on the inside.
The military macaw widened his eyes in shock when he heard this. A small tear crept from his left eye as he turned away from the building itself.
"So…Keith is the reason…that my darlings are dead?" He whispered to himself sadly while his heart was rapidly beating. "How…could he do this to me? That…bastard! Well…good luck trying to get your girl! Because now…I have decided that I WILL fulfil my end of the bargain! But not yours Keith…a bargain that I made with an old friend…all those years ago…"
Now…I bet you wasn't expecting any of that was you? Jewel pregnant with three more kids? Alex wanting to learn more about his wife's heritage? A dinner that was meant to bring Alex closer to his parents with facts that Blu taught him, which now he would need to save them for his morning flight with his father in law! As for the girls, they will be doing some belly dancing techniques with Jewel! That's if she has the energy for it! XD But what about Keith's little plan? Who are the military macaw's cousins that Keith mentioned in their argument? And to top it all off…what was the promise that he has to keep?
