The creatures died easily, though they were leaving quite the mess behind as they did. Simply because she didn't want to get any of the goop on her, they were slowly driving back the Dimitrescu Matriarch, to her annoyance. She was pretty certain the trelisses would only be small obstacles, but she would really have prefered not having to cut them to ribbons.
"Mother!" Her eldest called for her, a tinge of fear and most worryingly pain in her voice. Golden eyes snapped over to where she was keeping them from getting around the old countess. The blonde staggered back some, one of her arms covered in goop. "Hurts!" Whatever it was, it seemed to burn on contact. She should have realized that while she had plenty of range between her own size and the length of her claws, her daughters had not.
"Cassandra, Daniela, get her back to the castle!" Alcina sharply ordered the other two. "I can take care of these myself, attend your sister!" So much for keeping things out of the vineyards...
"Mother!?" She wasn't entirely sure who of the two screeched, making her way through the creatures, backhanding them away to get through to the crumpled form of her daughter. By the time she reached her, two swarms flew overhead, the other two hanging somewhere between human and swarm-forms. She managed to lift Bela high enough that the other two could grab hold of her, flying off back in the direction of the castle.
Snarling, the elder Dimitrescu turned her attention back to the shambling things. The claws of her other hand sang for blood as well, wide arcs being painted in the air by all ten. The things still fell as easily, but now that they could fully focus on her, they were driving her back faster. Most annoying...
She resisted the urge to stomp on the one that managed to reach her and grab her dress, considering Bela's reaction she did not want that anywhere near her... Her hand was about to close around the head to throw it back when it seemed to melt without any input from her.
Golden eyes widened at the realization that the entire things were goop, held in vaguely humanoid shape by... something. Cutting her dress before the goop hit her body, Alcina staggered back a few paces before regaining her footing. Damnit... Could she risk using her claws or would they also get trapped if one of these creatures timed its' liquidation correctly? "Ugh..."
She groaned in annoyance, retracting them and reaching for one of the wooden beams forming the trelisses beside her. This was utterly undignified, but she was not about to test her luck. At least these things had appeared on her lands and not on Donna's... Her younger sister would have been utterly defenseless against them, so that was a small upside to the situation.
The wood tore easily under her strength, the 4 foot wooden support for her vines having been turned into an impromptu club. Frustration fueled her as she swung the pine rod, launching quite a few of the creatures back into the forest. When she found out who had made these - and send them here - they better pray that they were already dead by the time she got to them.
One of them exploded under the touch of the rod, splattering her lower body and arm with goop. Hissing, she could understand why Bela had been hurt. The goop grew hot as it hardened, which would certainly have killed quite a few of the flies that made up her child. She tore it away from herself before it fully hardened and protentially trapped her, snarling when parts of her skin went along with it. "Oh... fuck." Gritting her teeth, she was starting to wonder if retreat might not be a viable and smart option right about now. Perhaps lead these to Heisenberg's factory so his toy soldiers could deal with them...
Backing up again from one that looked like it was about to explode, she ran into something soft and squishy. Heat at the back of her legs and wrapped around her waist warned her that the opening for flight had closed. Using her brief hesitation, those of the creatures that had survived until now descended upon her, being half-melted by the time they impacted with her body.
So this is how humans felt when her daughters attacked them in swarm-form...

It took him a while to realize what the emotion was he felt; suspicion mixed with light worry. The Dimitrescu was never late, yet he had arrived at their meeting-place before the giant woman. In fact, everyone had arrived before the castle-owning bloodsucker, which had never happened as far as he knew.
Heisenberg could not be entirely certain, but he would bet good money that even Mother Miranda was slightly disconcerted at the empty chair opposite of him. "So...?" He leaned back in his own seat, looking over at the door. "Are we... just supposed to wait?" The order of appearance had always been pretty much set, Mother Miranda arriving last. For someone - for Alcina Dimitrescu - to have broken the way of things was certainly something.
Mother Miranda ignored him, staring at the door-opening leading into the room instead. A tense silence fell on them, only broken when buzzing filled the room, echoing almost omniously as the light of the moon briefly darkened. Glancing up, his eyes narrowed at the sight of a large cloud of insects entering through the open roof. No, not one large cloud, but three clouds together; Alcina's daughters forming before they had even touched down fully.
"Mother Miranda."
