Right then. I sent my manuscript to a person that was referred to me by my Sunday school teacher, and they sent it to a guy they know due to my genre not matching with the person's genre of publishing. The guy came back and rejected my novel based on the fact that the guy's company didn't publish my genre.
So, first rejection in the bag!
I received crucial feedback, however, that being that my book shows promise and is well written. The genre it seems to fall most closely under is "speculative fiction" and "bizzarro fiction." I'm on the hunt for publishers of such things, and have found some, but they want a 3-5 sentence pitch, and a synopsis. Currently working on those, and then I'm going to shotgun this baby like a job application and put it in God's hands.
You'll also notice that The Chosen Ones is gone, and that is because I'm following through on my earlier promise to take it down and revamp it, because I don't like how it is.
Thanks for all the support!
