I'm trying a new way of spacing scenes , tell me if it's good

Eclipsa doesn't have her hat yet
Nova's clothes (pants as well) are reddish purple with grey for the wrists (pants don't have this) and purple gloves , other than that they're pretty plain PRINCE clothes with NO poofy parts , I hate those, the rapier is silver colored

"just focus a tad bit more" said Glossaryck nonchalantly
"I'm doing that" said Nova frowning as he was holding a damaged plant
"Just a bit mooo- stop! Perfect" said Glossaryck cheerfully as he saw the damage on the plant heal bit by bit
"Phew! Finally , I learned how to heal with magic!" Said Nova happily as he accidentally ripped a part of the plant out
"Hm...still think you're better at hurting than healing, Sevens" deadpanned Glossaryck "though I wonder , why DID you want to learn this?"
"So less people have to die , if someone is injured I can heal them , though I won't heal missing limbs , that'll just make them more reckless" said Nova smiling
"Yes, now if you don't mind me , I have to go enjoy my part of the deal" said Glossaryck happily before jumping to the other side of the room
"Nova!" Said Eclipsa barging into the room "Mom's calling for us both!"
"Hm? Why?" Asked Nova curiously
"I don't know , she just said it was urgent" said Eclipsa before seeing Glossaryck "and why is Glossaryck lying on a giant pile of corn chips?"
Glossaryck was indeed lying on a gigantic pile of corn chips and it was only increasing as Glossaryck opened more bags of chips
"I made a deal with this devil and I lost every bit of money I had" said Nova frowning "he's not even eating all of it"
"Each bag has only one chip worth eating" said Glossaryck smiling as he ate one of the perfect chips
"Can you at least give me the ones you aren't gonna eating?" Pleaded Nova
"I would, but then again ,by the time you get back they won't taste so good" said Glossaryck cheerfully
Nova frowned angrily
"Don't worry about it, I'll buy you some snookers later" said Eclipsa encouragingly as she pushed her brother out of the room

"Nova! Eclipsa! You're here!" Said Solaria happily "c'mon , to the throne room , this is important"
The twins shrugged and followed their mother to the throne room
And they saw many people in the room , even the magical high commission
"This must be really important" said Nova narrowing his eyes
"Yeah, do you think Glossaryck knows about this?" Asked Eclipsa curiously
"From how he phrased it , most likely" said Nova rolling his eyes
"You two may be wondering why I called you here" said Solaria dramatically
"Obviously" said Eclipsa smiling
"Would be nice to know" said Nova smiling
"I called you here because today , I pass the royal family wand onto Eclipsa" said Solaria as she pulled out her wand
"What?" Asked Eclipsa in confusion "isn't it supposed to be passed down when I become 14?"
"I have... important business to do and I might not be able to attend your birthdays" said Solaria not making eye contact "so I'm giving it and the book to you today"
(The "Birthdays" plural ,is not a typo)
"What?!" Asked Eclipsa in confusion
"It's just that , I'm busy with the war and everything , I won't be able to return for a while , so I have to give it to you today" said Solaria softly "Alphonse the worthy will look after you for a few days to make sure you get the hang of things before heading to my location"
As she said that Alphonse stepped forward and exchanged greetings with Solaria in a way that only a couple would do
"Sooooo , I never asked this before but...is he like , our dad?" Nova whispered to Eclipsa
"Probably, I mean , that's not a look you give to 'just a friend'" whispered Eclipsa
"Of course you'd know" whispered Nova and Eclipsa snickered
"So! Eclipsa!" Said Solaria as she approached Eclipsa "the wand is yours now"
Then Solaria extended her arm with the wand to give it to Eclipsa
Eclipsa accepted the wand and it turned from a red energy sword to a purple parasol with an orb at it's top
"Huh? A...parasol?" said Solaria as she saw the new wand "anyway , Nova , make sure to care of your sister okay?"
"That goes without saying" said Nova shrugging
"Alphonse, I leave them in your hands" said Solaria before leaving with the magical high commission

"So , kiddo , what's the first spell that's comin to mind?" asked Alphonse cheerfully
"I think I have the perfect one" said Eclipsa smiling "but before that , how about some fresh lemonade"
"That sounds wonderful , I'll ask someone to prepare some for us" said Alphonse cheerfully as he went outside the room and asked for some lemonade from a servant while making sure not to step out of the room
Eclipsa then said the name of the spell and Alphonse was stuck in a sleep state , floating... with a purple vortex behind him
"Already" said Nova "you're good at this"
"I know" said Eclipsa smugly
"Can you bring him back when we need to?" Asked Nova and Eclipsa nodded "then that leaves just one thing to be done"
Nova then went and set a sign outside the room , the sign said "put the lemonade in front of the door , we'll take it later , DO NOT DISTURB"
"Now that that's over with , what spell are you trying next?" Asked Nova smiling
"I was thinking about a portal that could let me see Globby more" said Eclipsa happily "it could also help us sneak out of the castle if need be"
"It sounds nice to have but don't you think that's a bit too... complicated to do so early?" Asked Nova with concern
"Oh I'm sure it's fine , I'll just use it to get us out of the castle" said Eclipsa before preforming the spell

"Ugh, what happened?" said Nova groggily as he woke up realizing he was lying on a branch and that it was nighttime
"I think the spell might have malfunctioned" said Eclipsa as she rose up from a bush "definitely malfunctioned"
"This is why you should listen to me sometimes" said Nova frowning
"Maybe" said Eclipsa as she got out of the bush wand in hand
"So...where are we?" Asked Nova as jumped off the tree
"I honestly...have no idea" said Eclipsa sheepishly
"Can you send us back?" Asked Nova in concern
Eclipsa shrugged as if saying "I don't know"
"This is bad" said Nova in concern
Then they heard a scream
"Ok this is worse" said Nova frowning

"We're gonna have to check that out aren't we?" Asked Eclipsa
"Absolutely , I mean , it could be trap so we need to be extra careful" said Nova as he ran towards the source of the scream
And when he got there he saw a person in a black robe with the hood on
Stuck in a spider web...a giant spider web and it looked like it was lunchtime for the spider
Then Eclipsa reached Nova panting
"Do you have any idea how hard it is to catch up to you?" Said Eclipsa panting "I'm not that athletic!"
"Look over there!" Said Nova seriously
"giant spider" said Eclipsa nonchalantly "well , doesn't matter , you take care of it and if the person does anything suspicious , I'll put them in an eternal sleep"
Nova shrugged and jumped towards the spider with his sword out slicing one of it's legs off
The spider shrieked in pain before changing it's target to Nova , firing webs at him
Nova dodged before dashing at it, dodging any webs thrown at him and cutting another leg on the same side as the other
Knocked off balance , the spider was struggling to stand , firing webs everywhere , Nova then decapitated the spider without trouble
Nova then looked at the person trapped in the webs who started panicking
Nova cut the webs trapping the person and...they floated
Before falling face first on the ground
"Damn it , I'm too...tired" said the person before passing out
Then Eclipsa and Nova identified the person's voice as female
"...ok?" Said Nova as he carried the person princess style
"Why are you carrying her like that?" Asked Eclipsa raising a brow
"I don't know , over the shoulder seems kinda rude to do" said Nova shrugging "besides I'm using magic to heal her and I need physical contact to do it"
"Sure you do" said Eclipsa cheekily
"Don't talk like that" said Nova rolling his eyes "let's just see what's under the robe"
"Oh, you cheeky_" said Eclipsa smiling cheekily
"I didn't mean it that way!" Said Nova blushing in embarrassment "we don't know if she's dangerous or not"
Eclipsa chuckled before Nova rolled his eyes and removed the hood revealing the appearance of the person
It was a blue skinned slender girl , a bit taller than Nova , with black hair, pointy ears , 4 eyes , and 2 white stubby bits on her head that were poking out of her hair , one of them was longer than the other and was slightly branching out into multiple bits in different directions, like a tree or antlers , under the robe was a sleeveless black dress that covered everything except her feet that wore black shoes (idk anything about shoes so decided how they look like)
"Cute...uh I mean do you know what she is?" Asked Nova covering his embarrassment as Eclipsa inspected the girl after giggling at her brother "I feel like I've seen something like her before"
"Let's see ,blue skin, those stubby bits were horns, with how they're branching out , they were probably antlers , 2 sets of eyes and sharp fangs, my best bet would be a mind-eater" said Eclipsa inspecting the girl
(The mind-eaters are an original creature , idk if there are similar creatures)
"Oh yeah ,I remember now, mom's how to kill monsters manual" said Nova remembering where he saw those features
"So what should we do now?" Asked Nova
"Well , Mind-eaters feed on emotions , memories and well... minds , I'm sure it's okay to let her stay near us to take power from our emotions as long as we don't let her bite our necks" said Eclipsa cheerfully as they began walking "that's how they eat your mind , the closer to the spine the better"
(I got the inspiration from vampires)
"I know I know , stop saying it so cheerfully" said Nova frowning as they walked "*sigh* first we should make a fire and camp for the night, I'll gather wood, you gather rocks ,ok?"
"Are you gonna collect wood with a lady in your hands" said Eclipsa slyly "just let me do it , I have magic"
"Sure things sis" said Nova rolling his eyes
Then Eclipsa used magic to prepare a camp

Melofae woke up from her sleep expecting to be a ghost or something
Dying to a giant spider , wasn't the best way out
She cursed those Solarian warriors , they were the only reason she was in this mess , at least she crippled one of them , barely after they cut off her antlers during the fight
To escape the rest she had to the impossible , make a portal to another dimension , though due to being in such a hurry , she couldn't control the location or dimension
This is normally impossible for mind-eaters who can mess with the world around them using their minds
But she , she was probably the strongest mind-eater out there...even if you discount the fact that she's the last mind-eater as well
Safe to say , she hated Solaria, a LOT
But when she opened her eyes , she still felt her body existing , so she wasn't dead
She saw fire...and she wasn't tied up
She looked around and saw 2 mewman teens who looked alike
"Oh, you're awake" said Eclipsa smiling "hello"
"Hello?" said Melofae not trusting the two strangers "uhm...where am I"
"A forest" said Eclipsa calmly
"Which forest?" replied Melofae tiredly
"I don't know , me and my brother got here by accident" said Eclipsa smiling
"Oh , I see , you have a cute younger brother by the way" said Melofae smiling
Then Eclipsa burst into laughter and Nova blushed while frowning
Melofae looked at them in confusion
"H-He's my twin brother" said Eclipsa as she laughed
"What?! No , he looks too young for a boy your age" said Melofae in disbelief
Eclipsa started laughing harder and Nova frowned harder
"A-aren't M-mind eaters supposed to be able to hear thoughts" said Eclipsa recovering from the laughter "you should know I'm saying the truth"
"I-i can't do that until my antlers grow back" said Melofae frowning "and I refuse to believe that's a boy your age , just look at that smooth skin"
She walked to Nova and poked his cheek as she said that
"What my sister said is the truth , we have no reason to lie about that" said Nova looking away in embarrassment
"Forget everything I said" said Melofae as she sat down frowning in embarrassment before realizing "wait , you knew I was a mind-eater and still helped me, why?"
"I know it might sound corny , but it doesn't fell right to just let someone die when I can easily save them , mewman or monster" said Nova frowning
"That's.. it's not that corny, it's... acceptable" said Melofae avoiding eye contact
"Thanks" said Nova smiling
Feeling Eclipsa's smile at the interaction , Nova decided to ask an important question
"So , how are we going to return back to mewni?" Asked Nova "Eclipsa, you can't use magic to make a portal back , so we should find a way to get back"
Eclipsa started seriously thinking about the problem
"I can help with that" said Melofae garnering the attention of the twins "I can open a portal back to mewni"
"How? I thought mind-eaters could only lift stuff and control them with their minds ,andmess with senses , maybe other abilities but never opening dimensional portals" asked Eclipsa curiously
"I'm special , I can ,with enough power open a portal , though I haven't eaten a proper meal in a long time so" said Melofae scratching her hair
"So that's our objective" said Nova before asking "how much do you need to eat before you can open a portal?"
"A few should do the trick" said Melofae before quickly adding "any minds , they don't have to be mewman"
"Ok , so tomorrow , we find some creatures to hunt" said Nova smiling
But before Nova could continue
"I'll stand guard in case some creature appears" said Eclipsa smiling
"No , I'm the guy with the sword , I'll stay awake" said Nova frowning "besides , I have insomnia from... you know"
"I can help with that too" said Melofae raising her hand before the twins looked at her "I can eat the emotions making you unable to sleep , it's not permanent and I won't bite your neck to do it"
Nova frowned and Eclipsa convinced him with a promise to buy him snookers
"*Sigh* so what do I have to do?" Asked Nova
"Hold onto this" said Melofae as a long tail came out from under her black robe
"Ok?" Said Nova before doing so
Then Nova felt a sudden sense of peace , calm without any negative emotions
He quickly fell asleep , and after he fell asleep
"He's adorable isn't he?" Said Eclipsa smiling
"You watch your twin sleep?" Asked Melofae
"Absolutely , how can I miss such a precious sight" said Eclipsa looking at her twin "he's most adorable little twin out there"
"...I admit , he's pleasant to look at sleeping peacefully like that" admitted Melofae
Eclipsa smiled happily
"Go to sleep now" said Eclipsa "don't want to be tired tomorrow"
Melofae looked at her skeptically but shrugged and went to sleep a comfortable distance for her hair away from Nova
Not knowing that Eclipsa , was gonna do something about that , if she had the chance that is

Nova and Melofae each woke up to the other's face
They were embarrassed for a second before hearing Eclipsa
"Wake up, wake up!" Said Eclipsa urgently
Then they felt the ground shake , then they turned to the source
It was a hydra , seven heads
Nova got off the ground quickly enough to dodge a fire breath taking Melofae with him
"A hydra!" Said Melofae happily
"It's trying kill us , why are you happy?" Asked Nova unsheathing his rapier
"A hydra has multiple heads and multiple minds" Explained Melofae "If I can eat it all we can finally go back! So don't cut off any of the heads! And keep them awake if possible"
Nova nodded
"Eclipsa! I'll take care of the legs , you restrain the heads" said Nova and Eclipsa nodded "they need to be awake"
Nova dashed towards the hydra trying to attack it's legs
But the hydra blocked the way with fire , Nova went around and slashed at it's arm
It roared in anger but Nova didn't care and used this chance to cut off a leg , causing it to fall on it's stomach
"Roaring in the middle of battle really isn't a good idea" said Nova frowning as he dodged some flame breath "Eclipsa!"
Then Eclipsa used a spell to tie the heads of the hydra into a knot
Then while the hydra was unable to move , Nova carried Melofae princess style as he jumped on the back of the hydra
"Thanks" said Melofae avoiding eye contact as she blushed "I wouldn't have been able to get up here on my own"
"It's alright" said Nova smiling as the hydra shook "just hurry up before something happens"
Then Melofae bit into the spine of the hydra or the flesh near it
Then bit by bit the hydra started calming down , until it stopped completely
The effect of getting food was apparent from a simple glance at Melofae as even her pale white antlers grew back

When they all went back to mewni , Nova and Melofae promised to keep in touch and decided on a meeting place
Melofae tried not to show it , but she was extremely happy , Nova was bad at hiding it either way
Eclipsa teased Nova on the way back
They did not forget to remove the spells off of Alphonse
Nova was still angry at Glossaryck for the chips thing
