Sabella has asked for Paul's help once again. A while back, they stopped a man from making profit of a that he wanted to happen war in Sabella's country. They thought that would be the end, but he still has some men on the outside that are planning to smuggle some weapons out of New York. If they get into the hands of enemies to Symkaria, Sabella's people could be at risk. That's why she asked for his and his friend's help.
"Rgh..." Paul was waking up after a good night sleep. What made it a good night was that he and Lindsay were at it again. As he woke up, Lindsay followed after.
"Morning." Lindsay said.
"Hey." Paul said. "Thanks for letting me stay here for the night."
"You don't need to thank me. That's what people do when they sleep together." Lindsay said. "That's part of the enjoyment of what we're doing. We can come and go as we please or spend the whole night together."
"You are really enjoying this whole arrangement we got going, aren't you?" Paul asked.
"Yeah. Aren't you?" Lindsay asked.
"I'll tell you this much, you certainly know how to give a guy a good time." Paul said. Even though they're not dating, Lindsay was still enjoying what they're doing because she still gets to be with Paul on a more intimate level and it feels like nothing has really changed between them, at least to her.
"So, do you want something to eat or go for some morning fun. We could actually do both if you wanted." Lindsay offered.
"You really don't know how to slow down." Paul said.
"I told you before. When I see something I like, I go for it." Lindsay said. Before they could talk about it anymore, Paul heard his phone. He looked to see he got a message from Sabella and it says that she might have a lead. "Who is it?"
"It's...Mom. She needs my help with something." Paul lied because he knows how Lindsay feels about Sabella. He certainly doesn't want to deal with that right now. "Sorry. It looks like I don't have time for your sex breakfast. I'll see you later."
"Okay..." Lindsay said as she felt something was off. As Paul changed into his Spider-Man costume, he swung off to see what Sabella knows. Lindsay knew something wasn't right and she wasn't going to let this go so easily.
...
Sabella
Sabella was waiting on a rooftop as she was looking at what was across the street. Once Paul got her message, he swung through the city as fast as he could. He landed down and walked right over to her.
"Hey. I got your message. Do you really have a lead?" Paul asked.
"I do." Sabella said. Paul looked across the street and saw they were watching a donut place.
"In case they don't have that where you come from, they sell donuts there." Paul joked.
"One of Dominic's men is in there." Sabella said. "If we can apprehend him, we can have him tell us where they are keeping the weapons and make sure they don't leave the city."
"Oh! Good idea." Paul said as he waited for her. "What's the plan?"
"We'll wait for when he leaves, then follow him until he's alone." Sabella said. "We can strike then and..." Sabella stopped what she was saying when she smelled something a bit off. She leaned closer to Paul and smelled him with Paul getting a little uncomfortable.
"What are you doing?" Paul asked. "Why are you sniffing me?"
"Forgive me. You just smell a little strange." Sabella said.
"Don't know how it works in Symkaria, but you don't smell people around here and tell them they smell bad." Paul said. Now that she said something, Paul opened his suit for him to smell himself. He could smell that she was right. "Sorry about that. I didn't have a chance to take a shower after last night. When I got your message, I got here as fast as I could."
"Did something happen last night?" Sabella said. "Does it have something to do with your partner? The one who calls herself Blite?"
"You mean Lindsay? Well... Yeah, in a way." Paul said.
"Your other friend told me that there was something going on between you and your lover." Sabella said.
"Lover?! Uh... I'm not sure about that." Paul said as he tried to think about it. "I guess you could still call her that, but we're not really dating anymore."
"Excuse me?" Sabella said.
"It's nothing." Paul said as he didn't want to talk about it with Sabella.
"You claim you're not dating but you also say she's still considered your lover." Sabella said. "Are you having one of those relationships that you call...friends with profits?"
"It's called friends with benefits." Paul said with some embarrassment in his voice. "You're smarter than I thought." Paul was a bit impressed she got it, but it seemed like she had a disapproving face. "What?"
"Nothing. It's just I thought you had more self-respect than that." Sabella said as she continued watching the donut shop.
"What?" Paul questioned as he wanted to know what she meant, but he didn't get the chance.
"There he is." Sabella said as they spotted someone leaving. He threw away a coffee cup and was on his way. "Let's move." They both tried to follow him without being seen. They waited to until he walked down an alleyway and was all alone. When he was, Paul shot a line to connect to him. When he got it, he pulled the guy straight up and on the roof.
"What the hell?! What is this?!" The guy asked.
"Don't you know you should never walk through a New York alleyway, especially the shady ones?" Paul questioned.
"Where are the weapons you and your associates plan to smuggle out of New York?" Sabella asked.
"I don't know what you wackos are talking about." The guy said as he was trying to play innocent, but Sabella was in no mood for games. She grabbed the guy by the leg and held him over the edge of a building.
"I have little patience. Start talking. My arm is already getting tired." Sabella said.
"Sabella, stop that." Paul said.
"Calm yourself. I know you'll launch your webs to catch him." Sabella said. "We'll just keep going like that until he talks. It's just that we have little time."
"Okay..." Paul said as he wasn't sure if he liked this. "You better start talking or you'll be taking a bungee ride all day." The guy looked down and was getting a sickly feeling.
"Alright! Alright! I'll talk!" The guy said. "I don't know where the weapons are right now! All I know is where they're going to be!"
"Where?" Sabella asked.
"Pier 17, around midnight! That's when the boat that's suppose to take them is suppose to come around that time." Once Sabella got what she needed, she placed him back on the roof. Once she released him, Paul webbed him to prevent him from going anywhere.
"Can't risk you telling your buddies. Just hang here until the cops are able to get here." Paul said.
"At least now we know where and when the weapons are suppose to be." Sabella said. "Can you alert the others about this information?"
"Sure. Before that, can we talk for a minute." Paul said. He had her move away so the two of them could talk in private. "I just wanted to ask what you meant? What did you mean when you thought I had more self-respect?"
"Exactly what I said." Sabella said. "I never thought you would be the type to engage in such activities. I don't see much reason as to why you should do such things unless you feel low about yourself or some other selfish reason."
"It's not like that." Paul said. "Blite and I actually did date, but I felt it was causing problems. Look at what happened with you. If it weren't you wearing a bullet vest, you could have been shot and killed. We both knew things between us were spiraling out of control, but we didn't to break-up either. This was a compromise. Lindsay didn't want to give up the fun, the passion, the connection, and I guess I didn't to either."
"I understand that, but I do not see why you still needed to do this." Sabella said. "What if there's someone else who actually wants to be with you?"
"You mean like you?" Paul questioned and he had Sabella there. He also thought of Thomas towards Lindsay.
"All I'm saying is that I think you can do better and if you can't with this girl, you deserve someone who can give you what she could not." Sabella said. She left things at that as she left the area. It has Paul doing some thinking that maybe he should reconsider this whole thing with Lindsay. Either way, she needs to tell him and Thomas about tonight. Before he could, he saw he had a message from Lindsay.
"Can we meet tonight?"
"Were her ears burning?" Paul questioned. He messaged back and made sure it was early in the evening or such.
...
Lindsay
Lindsay changed into Blite and waited for Paul on a roof. It was already dark, but there was going to be some time before the boat comes. Paul already told Thomas and Lindsay about what's going on. That gives Lindsay time for what she wants.
"There you are." Paul said as he arrived. "Did you get my message about the weapons and the pier?"
"Yeah. It's going on at midnight." Lindsay said. "That gives a few hours, plenty of time." Lindsay pushed him back until he hit a brick wall of a roof entrance.
"Wait. Now? Are you kidding me?" Paul questioned. "Lindsay, this is exactly why I was thinking of breaking up with you. Your sexual lust was getting in the way of you and me being Spider-Man and Blite. We agreed that if we're doing this, it wasn't going to happen anymore. The ship is going to arrive at midnight."
"I know. That gives us plenty of time. Besides, I saw you with Sabella." Lindsay said.
"What?!" Paul said as he didn't want that to happen. "You were spying on me?"
"Don't sound innocent." Lindsay said. "I suspected you lied to me about meeting your mother. You really went to meet with Sabella."
"I'm sorry. I only lied because I knew you didn't like her." Paul said. "Do you also know what we talked about?"
"I did." Lindsay said. "She's just jealous of what we have. She wishes it was her instead of me."
"Aren't you jealous of her as well?" Paul asked. He reached his hand to her, but he grabbed his wrist and held it against the wall.
"Maybe I am, but we have an agreement, remember? Whenever one of us wants to, and I see it that you owe me now." Lindsay said as she slid her spare hand into his pants. "Neither of us are really dating anyone. That means, wherever, whenever I want, I'm free to do this." She pulled his pants down enough and placed her face between his legs as she held his arm back. As Paul felt her lips around there, the pleasuring feeling stopped him from saying or doing anything to stop him. Lindsay just helped herself and he let her. As Lindsay placed her hand in there, she used it to help her move further in and she helped herself to what else was on the dish.
"Blite... Blite..." Paul groaned as he was trying to tell her something. "Blite, I think I'm about too..." Lindsay acted fast as she went back to her first meal. Paul didn't finish what he was saying as he had release the pressure he was trying to hold in, but he couldn't. Lindsay pulled herself up as she swallowed what was in her mouth. "Sorry..."
"Don't be." Lindsay said as she pulled his mask up enough to see his lips. "This is what we want. It's what we both want, and I'm going to see to it that you keep your end." She kissed him passionately and planned to have her way for as long as she can. Lindsay might be acting out of jealousy, but she's enjoying this. As for Paul, he's starting to wonder if this was even a good idea.
