Yashiro watched with many mixed emotions at his represented on stage. He hated not having avoided that slight clash between them longer, until at least easing the situation better. Yet he was pleased and amused to see them now. Oh, of course Ren could not stay in a bad mood for long when he got involved as a new character in the series in which Kyoko is one of the protagonists.
And what role did he get!
The series was called "Obsidian" and it had like protagonists Kanae Kotonami and the super model Honoka Ootomo. However, after the impact of Kyoko's character as an antagonist of the first season, they had to change the script and instead of letting her character die at the end of the season they decided to let her live and make her the third protagonist. So for the second season, which they are currently filming, the three are a team of agents from a secret organization that seeks to restore peace and order in a society that is just being restored after colonizing a new planet after an apocalypse that made impossible life on earth in the year 2700.
The producers proposed to Ren and Koga to be the male leads. Koga was intended to play an undercover who fools everyone into believing that he betrayed the agency, hurting the heart of Kanae, who was his best friend of all the life and would eventually be his lover. On the other hand, Ren was supposed to take the role of a tormented hero who is in love with Honoka's character and was her lover in the past, but she cannot forgive him that by saving her life he ended up causing a misfortune for which he is paying in a jail of the organization.
Kuon, to everyone's surprise, personally turned down the role but it's because he expected exactly what was happening now would happen.
Honoka and Kanae obviously have great roles and they are both sensational actresses, especially the top model ended up being a big surprise. But Kyoko's charm, how fascinating her character is and especially how she gave it overwhelming complexity and bewitching appeal, definitely made him fix his eyes on the role of Kuroki, "the black demon", quite an interesting character all by himself. He is not on either side, is apathetic and could be similar to some type of "Jack Sparrow", because at a certain point he also has moments in which it is a comic relief, but much darker, sarcastic, sadistic, acid humor and even something sinister. He is a sometimes anti-hero and other anti-villain who has a particular relationship with Sirrah, Kyoko's character. So, he knew that although the writers were unlikely to match them, if they began to give Kyoko the prominence she and her character deserves, at least he would have the opportunity to start getting people used to seeing him losing his mind over her. So, he just wait and with a smile asked for the role of Kuroki who was introduced in the last chapter of the first season.
Now, the complex relationship between Kuroki and Sirrah was slowly reaching a climax where they could both lose their minds over their wishes, their hateful wishes.
It was evident in their eyes that they did not hate each other the way they wanted to hate each other, but what they really hated was how much they wanted each other and felt they were reciprocated but could not do anything about it. However, the rhythm of tango enveloped them and the passion between them was evident and overflowing.
"So this time you're going to be my ally?" She whispers to him smiling sideways as her leg seductively caresses his. "Do you really think I'm going to be able to trust you so easily with that explanation?"
He looks at her with an irritated smile, turns her around and holds her up, to finally make her lean slightly in hers arms of hers and get closer to hers hearing from her.
"You were right," she whispers to him as he strokes her thigh, "always ..."
She is puzzled at these words, but she gathers herself and smiles wryly.
"That does not answer the ..."
She then she feels that he put something in her garter belt and they keep dancing.
"You know what it is, right?"
She was too surprised, she would never have expected something like this ... It just couldn't be true!
"Now that I give you my life I suppose it will be less complicated to trust me"
Her look was sincere, but at the same time she was hiding many things, or at least she was trying. And one of those hateful messages that he tried uselessly to hide but that overflowed was: "If I'm going to die, it will be an honor that it's by your hand."
"Cut!" The young director announced, equally pleased and irritated. "I said cut!", he exclaimed again when he saw that the actors did not separate and seemed about to kiss. "The kiss is not going yet!"
Kuon looked at the headmaster with a triumphant smile. He knew that the young director was abnormally interested in Kyoko and of course the director, being one of the few in the middle who knows Kana's true orientation, realized that Kyoko was the one with whom he actually had a relationship ... Or rather, "non-relationship". However, the director, being very close to Kana, but mainly to Kyoko, was in charge of covering them and ensuring that none of the suspicious approaches of Kyoko and him are commented on by anyone. The staff members, makeup artists and everyone in general were very trustworthy people who would take Tsuruga Ren's visits to the dressing room of his respected and "not a thousand times special above the others" friend and kohai to the grave. So the way they looked at each other with overwhelming and even intimidating passion would remain "a secret" for the moment.
Kuon sighed seeing Kyoko immediately go to her dressing room avoiding eye contact and, when her beloved's back disappeared into the corridors, she went to Yashiro.
"Is she upset?"
"I think that now she is more upset with herself for not being able to with you."
"I can't handle her either", Kuon sighed, resigned and exhausted.
"You've improved a lot in the way you handle the Fuwa-kun issue, but I think still ..."
"It's very difficult, Yashiro-san ..."
Kuon sighed again.
"For her, it is also difficult to think that you don't trust her, but it is understandable, you are afraid and ..."
"Did I do very wrong?"
"I don't think it's a good idea, but at the same time I don't think there are many options either, it's not good to leave her alone with Fuwa, there are already too many rumors... But, you were a little bit toxic, I guess"
Kuon sighed heavily again and withdrew. For safety, he still bothered to sneak up to where he knew was the secret door that led to Kyoko's dressing room. Along the way he got her favorite drink, analyzing what happened and the slight quarrel they had.
He didn't like this sort of thing between them and didn't want to prove to himself that he wasn't ready to have a woman like Kyoko by his side yet, but he just couldn't conceive of them seeing each other in private once more other than the ones already they were given without his knowledge.
"I'll talk to Shotaro," Kyoko said.
"I'll go with you," Kuon declared, quite determined, and also controlling his dark countenance much better than expected, much more than could be asked of him considering that Fuwa is involved.
Kyoko looked at him in a complicated way.
"What?" He blurted out at her gaze, almost unaware of her and he was happily able to control her tone so it doesn't sound sinister.
Anyway, for Kanae, Tanaka and Yashiro, it was very clear how intimate the atmosphere got between Kyoko and "Ren". It was as if they had been left to have a private chat on the matter. Something like an old married couple who step aside to discuss an adult matter with the intention of later announcing their final verdict to the children. And it was not the first time that those two did that without realizing it in front of "everyone", that is to say, their newly created common social circle or human wall to hide their particular union.
"It's that Shotaro becomes more stupid than normal when you're around, and you," Kyoko said almost in a whisper, caressing his hands, "... I'd rather be able to talk to him in a civilized manner and if you are, it won't be possible."
"What are you talking about?" Kuon questioned in a complex tone to explain.
Kyoko had a pained look, sighed and closed her eyes.
"You know I don't mean ... Ren ...!" She let out a sigh again when noticing the thoughts he was probably having. "I want you to fall for his provocations, I don't want you to let him think that he has won something". She realized that she was not very wise, but she didn't care about caressing his cold hands in front of everyone.
Kyoko had a single priority now, far more important than hiding whatever they had now from trusted people who she knew had actually known about this for a long time. The most important thing for her now was to calm Kuon's heart, because she hurt to know that she could have accidentally hurt him and it angered him that this was all the fault of the idiot Sho. This is precisely why she wanted to fix the matter herself, so that he realizes that she has nothing to fear.
"I don't care what you do, I just don't like him ruining..." She caressed his chest, leaned closer to him and looked at him significantly, leaving the sentence half completed by the whispers in his eyes. "He really is the uncivilized one, he goes crazy when it comes to something related to you and last time ..."
Kyoko fell silent in her tracks. She realized in Kuon's gaze that it was late and then she would have to finish the story. She took a deep breath and changed the direction of the subject.
"The important thing is that now the problem is easy to solve because I really don't think he likes this situation very much. In fact, he surely is just as irritated and disgusted as I am about this. This rumor could be a bump in his way to be with the most desired girl in Japan or whatever, and that is not to mention the problem that this could bring him with his fans ... Knowing him he did not confirm or deny anything because he did not want to look bad Telling that she took advantage of her childhood friend to make her her servant and discard her when she was no longer needed." Kyoko shrugged simply.
Those present looked at her in shock. Not even they themselves knew what shocked them more: if Kyoko had just told that story so relaxed as if it were an anecdote of black humor, the carefree and unworthy gesture of the Japanese maiden that she was supposed to be or that she did not give herself She realizes Fuwa's true intentions and that she truly believes that he will easily accept her proposals to end the gossip.
"So, if he is in a good mood, it will be easy to reach a solution that will benefit us both in the end, it is not necessary to worry so much" Kyoko noticed the looks they were giving her and looked at everyone with intrigue. "... What?"
Everyone shook their heads with an expression of various mixed feelings.
"Kyoko-chan, you have to understand that ..."
"Ren, he believes that you are dating Kana-san, as well as all of Japan." Kyoko looked at him with a bitter smile. "... If he finds out the truth, it could be very dangerous, and you going with me would be very suspicious." She blushes and look away, "He realized that much before I did, you know?"
Ren was expressionless for a moment, but then he smiled at her in a way that was as intense as it was complicated and took her chin gently to lift her face so that she could look him in the eye, then both of them were lost in the other, as if the whole splendor of the universe will be found in the pupils of the other.
"Do you remember we're still here?" Kanae muttered irritably to a shocked Tanaka and an excited Yashiro.
Kyoko jumped up and looked at them again.
"I'll talk to Shotaro, but I think it would be good if, according to how that conversation turns out, they contact his representative" she takes her cell phone and sends Shoko's number, both to Takano and Yashiro.
"Kyoko-chan, are you sure about this? That is to say, I agree that Ren may not be the best companion but it is not good for you to meet alone with Fuwa-kun ..."
"But..."
"I think you have to really understand what the situation is like." Tanaka took the iPad out of him and started showing him a slideshow full of diagrams and graphs.
"What is this?"
"It is the graphic representation of what we have had to fight" Yashiro let out a sigh ", you see Kyoko-chan, your fans love you but they are worried about you and do not approve of the rumors that, thanks to the internet, they have not been alone in the showbiz circle."
Kyoko put on a panicked expression.
"Until now, your supposed relationship or ex-relationship with Fuwa remained as a legend launched by supposed insiders that currently they hardly speak about, because it is not official and they do not want to take it as something official, they do not like that rumor and they are concerned, so they prefer to ignore it as much as they can ... But Fuwa-kun's and Ren's fans are a different story ..."
"My fans?" Kuon paled slightly, the course of this conversation already beginning to scare him.
"Ah, Ren, take it easy, you should actually be more afraid of Kyoko-chan's fans than yours." Yashiro giggled.
"¿Mogami-san?"
Kyoko immediately opened the door, pulled him into the dressing room and slammed the door behind him, then leaned against the wall, crossed her arms and looked at him in a complicated way.
"I..."
Kuon suddenly didn't know what to say, first because he didn't know how to handle the slight conflict that affected him quite a bit anyway, second because he was nervous about ruining things, and lastly because Kyoko was damn sexy.
"Nii-san couldn't stay calm, right?" She teased using Setsu's intonation, but soon returned to normal and lowered his head with a very strong blush in her face.
Kuon sighed.
"I'm not angry, if that's what you're worried about ..."
Kuon approached her, puppy-faced.
"If you really want to go alone..."
"No, it's okay, it's the most prudent thing to do after all ..."
"But..."
"But I wish there were less doubts between us" Kyoko lowered her head "and I also wish I could give peace to your heart definitely ..."
Kuon put her hands on her face and kissed them slowly as he looked at her in such a way that he made her lose the stability of her body.
"I love you, Kyoko-chan, I would trust you with my life ..."
Kuon released her wrists and took her by the waist to bring her closer and bring her forehead to his.
"I know," Kyoko tried to suppress a groan as Kuon lightly brushed her neck with his nose, trying to get closer to her ear.
"I'm just afraid of losing you, even if it is irrational fear..."
Kyoko sighed, gently cupping Kuon's face and pulling him towards her.
"Kuon ..."
Before she can complete her sentence, he stole a kiss on the tip of her nose.
"But I'm going to defeat that fear and work hard to be the man who deserves heaven in your arms ..."
Kyoko was too red for this moment, but she from somewhere she pulled the strength out of her and gave him a chaste and quick kiss on his lips.
She couldn't take it anymore, that's the reason for her outburst.
Kuon was stunned in the same place for a few seconds, until the Emperor of the Night emerged. But, before he could take Kyoko's lips like the love-hungry madman that he was, the makeup artist knocked on the door and he had to hide in the closet.
Then, when Kyoko sat down on the dressing table and the makeup artist was distracted, Kuon fled the dressing room, not before giving his queen a mischievous and joyous look.
Sho left his apartment with a smug and satisfied smile that nothing and no one could undo. When he got to the parking lot he was proud to find that black limousine that he had been waiting for since he received that curious invitation.
