Something felt off today. Katsuki wasn't sure what it was.

He had a sudden pain in his chest, like there was a gaping hole there. He had noticed the (uniform) skirts the girls were wearing and wondered, What's it like wearing one?

He wasn't a trans girl. He knew that. He didn't feel like a girl, really.

Well, he didn't yesterday. Yesterday, he'd felt just like a boy and everything seemed fine.

But today?

Today was weird like that.

He shook it off and changed into casual clothes. He decided to hang out in the lobby, despite knowing he probably wouldn't stick around long.

As he entered, something caught his eye.

Tape Face (Sero) was wearing a skirt today.

Interesting. I had no idea he wore skirts.

"Oi. Soy Sauce," he grumbled, walking over to Sero.

Upon seeing him, the black-haired guy grinned. "Hey, Bakugo. Didn't expect to see you here."

Katsuki paused before saying anything. "Just... get over here so we can talk in private."

"Oh, sure...?"

Katsuki dragged him to the side where nobody else was. Sero faced the blond, who was looking down, hands in his pockets.

"You're wearing a skirt," he mumbled.

"Oh, yeah. I kinda just felt like it."

"You weren't yesterday."

"Yeah. I recently found out that my identity and what I prefer changes, usually day-to-day. It's called being genderfluid."

"Huh. Interesting."

Katsuki turned away and took a step forward, ready to leave, when he muttered, "Thanks, Tape Face," before walking away.

Sero grinned. "That was unexpected of you, Bakugo!"

"Shut up! You ain't gettin' that again! And don't you dare tell anyone about that!"

"Of course!"

Katsuki walked off, contemplating. He looked down at his chest and began imagining things.

"Whatcha doing, Bakubro?" Kirishima asked, startling Katsuki and snapping him out of his thoughts.

"Dammit, dumb hair! I was doing something!"

The redhead held up his hands in defense. "Oh, sorry. You just kinda looked... upset? You were staring down."

The blonde growled. "Shut up. I was just thinking, that's all."

"If you say so."

Katsuki eventually couldn't stay in the lobby. That weirdness kept coming back no matter how many times he tried to suppress it. He felt jealous of Sero. He wanted to wear a skirt, too.

I can't do anything about it, though. I'm never wearing a skirt.

He decided to go to bed and hope that the weirdness would be gone.

However, he didn't fall asleep. He couldn't.

For some reason, visions of him being someone else kept filling his mind.

He heard a crash and immediately jumped. Ever since he was kidnapped, he had been so much jumpier. And before that, the sludge villain incident had also made him more anxious. But the kidnapping had really pushed him over.

He didn't need help, though. What kind of hero would need help on something stupid like that? Not him.

He disassociated for a while. For hours. But never really fell asleep. At 2 AM, he finally snapped out of it.

"Fuck... what time is it?"

He checked his phone (which was brighter than the sun) and sighed.

"I'm not falling asleep tonight."

He got up and stumbled around towards the balcony door. Stepping out onto the balcony, the moon had risen so high that it had begun to fall over the edge and to the other side of the sky. The chilled night air calmed him and he felt strangely at home. He closed his eyes and breathed in the cold night air.

He counted the stars until they disappeared in the light of dawn.

As the sun slowly rose, he walked back inside and slipped on a hoodie and jogging pants to go for a morning jog. He was surprised (and annoyed) to see Deku out in the lobby.

Dammit. Katsuki was really looking forward to having nobody know about his early-morning runs.

"Oh- Kacchan? I didn't think you'd be awake so early."

"Shut up. I'm just going out for a jog. What the hell are you doing up so early?"

"Ah..." The green-haired boy smiled. "It's nothing. Don't worry about it."

"Tch. Whatever."

Katsuki stormed out the door and slammed it shut before taking off.

He breathed in the crisp morning air and felt at peace again. He liked running in the morning, when the grass was still dewy and the air still cool, yet light enough to see clearly. The birds were chirping loudly and the world felt so alive.

As he arrived back at the main doors to the dorms, he realized something.

He didn't feel like wearing a skirt today. The weirdness was almost gone.

Almost.

When he thought about how he was a boy, something just felt... off. It was like his skin was a little too tight and he didn't have quite enough room to fit comfortably.

He shrugged it off again and headed inside. Luckily, it was a Saturday and they didn't have classes today.

"Hey, Bakubro!"

Katsuki turned to see Kirishima walking towards him.

"What do you want?"

"I just woke up. Wanna get breakfast?"

He shrugged. "Why not."

"Mornin', guys..." someone mumbled.

Kirishima's face lit up again. "Dude! Kaminari! Bakugo and I were just gonna go get breakfast! Wanna join us?"

"Mmm... sure."

Katsuki sighed. "Whatever. Let's just go."

The three boys headed to breakfast. Katsuki was the most awake, while Kaminari was still half-asleep. Kirishima seemed tired, but at least functional.

They all got down to breakfast and the purple-haired guy (Katsuki didn't remember the name) who looked like Aizawa was also there. Upon seeing the three boys, he walked over with a hot mug.

"Morning. Didn't expect to see you here so early."

Katsuki groaned. "I didn't either. But since you look like fucking Aizawa, what should I expect? Do you ever sleep, uuh..."

"Hitoshi Shinsou." The guy smiled, but it looked more painful than happy. "And I do sleep. Sometimes."

Kaminari clung onto Shinsou. "Morning. Didja sleep last night?"

"Hahaha." The total pain in that weird smile grew.

The electric dork gasped. "You didn't?! At least tell me you slept last night!"

"Ha ha."

"HITOSHI SHINSOU."

"I'm in danger."

Shinsou immediately ran as far from Kaminari as he could, screaming, as Kaminari chased him with a random slipper he got from out of nowhere. Katsuki and Kirishima were left standing there, confused.

"What the fuck..."

The redhead shrugged. "Kaminari's probably punishing Shinsou for not sleeping for two days. Seriously, though, I'm kinda concerned about him. He probably sleeps as much as Mr. Aizawa."

"You mean... during class?"

"Doubtful. Probably even less, if that's the case. Poor guy."

"He seems to handle it."

Kirishima laughed and playfully slapped Katsuki on the back. "You go to sleep at 8:30, though. How do you fall asleep so easily?"

I don't fall asleep right at that time. I often go to bed then, but I stay awake for a little while longer. "I don't know."

Shinsou rammed right into Kirishima and backed up instantly. "Sorry. Didn't see you there."

"Nah, it's fine. Did you at least get away from Kamin-"

Kaminari threw the slipper right at the head of purple hair, making unholy screeching noises and running towards them.

"SHINSOU. I thought I told you to SLEEP. You aren't DOING THAT!"

"He doesn't understand what insomnia is," Shinsou muttered, pointing at the shrieking blond.

Katsuki held a disgusted look on his face. "I can tell."

"But really, man, you should sleep," Kirishima commented, standing up.

"I can't. That's the problem," he sighed. "Normally, I'm able to sleep for at least two hours, but sometimes, it's less or none at all. If it's a really good day, I sleep for up to four hours."

"Four-! How the hell are you still alive, man?!"

"Ahem, I'm... first of all, I don't know. Second, I'm nonbinary and use they/them, in case you didn't know. Thanks."

Kirishima paused for a moment before processing. "Oh, sorry, uuhh..."

"Don't tell Mr. Aizawa. Please."

"Uh... sure? I was just wondering what to call you otherwise."

"Ah. I really don't care. Dude, bro, mate, homie, whatever," they said, grinning (exactly like Aizawa). "That was just to throw you off."

The redhead shuddered. "Dude, you are exactly like Mr. Aizawa. Also, why did you ask me not to tell him?"

"I'm closeted to almost nobody but him. Even Eri knows (kinda). But Aizawa? Not him. He can't know."

This made everyone back up. "How the hell do you know the kid?" Katsuki hissed.

Shinsou smiled painfully and ran their hands through their hair. "Fuuuck. How do I explain this."

"Never mind. No need to explain, Purple. I'm hungry, dammit!"

It was around noon and Katsuki was with some of the others in the lobby. He watched as Mina and Sero played video games.

"Yes! I win!" Mina cheered as Sero looked beat.

"How are you so good at this?" he asked.

She shrugged. "I dunno. It kinda comes naturally, I guess."

Sero stood up and Katsuki noticed that he was wearing pants and a crop top today. Also interesting.

"Hey. Sorry to interrupt, but have you guys seen Mr. Aizawa anywhere?" someone asked.

Everyone in the lobby turned around to find Shinsou poking his head through the door.

"Oh, hi, Shinsou!" Kaminari exclaimed.

"Hey there, Purple."

"Hey there, Grenade."

Both sides silently agreed that these were good nicknames.

"I think he went to the teacher's lounge a few minutes ago, but I could be wrong," Yaoyorozu said.

"Thanks."

They walked out and closed the door. Everyone else continued their normal activities.

Things seemed to be normal for a few weeks. Sometimes, Katsuki felt that weird sort of uncomfortable again, but not every day. Everyone else seemed to be at peace, or at least not making a big deal out of anything. It almost seemed... off. Katsuki felt a bit uneasy by the unexpected peace and quiet.

One Friday, though, after school, someone was definitely not at peace.

Katsuki knocked impatiently on the door, and she answered.

"Oh? Bakugo! Hey, nice to see you!"

"I... kinda need something from you, raccoon eyes," he muttered, shoving his hands in his pockets.

"Sure, what is it?" she asked as she let him in and closed the door.

Katsuki grumbled to himself so quietly that Ashido didn't hear what he said. She wasn't even sure he was speaking a human language with so much growl.

"What did you say? I didn't hear you."

The blond scowled, face flushing a little. "Teach me how to put on... a... a bra."

Ashido cocked her head to the side. "A bra?"

"Yeah. Tell me how."

She was thrown off for a hot second, but then nodded and grinned. "Sure, of course! Let me see if I can find anything that'd fit you. If not, I might have to borrow from someone. You can sit down on my bed and take off your shirt."

Katsuki did so as Ashido went over to her dresser and rummaged around, muttering to herself.

"No... no... no... definitely no... ugh. Bakugo?"

"Hah?"

"I don't have any bras with a cup size small enough for you. I need to go somewhere for a minute."

"Whatever."

Ashido left the room and asked around for a couple of cup A bras, and eventually got a few from Jiro (i'm not even sorry).

"Here, Bakugo, I've found some!" she announced, walking in.

Katsuki sighed through his teeth. "Alright."

"First, let's do this one. It's definitely one of the easiest to put on. It's a sports bra. Just slip it over your head like you would a tank top," she said, handing a gray sports bra to Katsuki.

The blonde warily took the bra and slipped it on. "Huh."

She smiled. "How does it feel?"

"Kinda... nice, actually."

"Wonderful! Now, take that one off and try this regular one."

He wriggled his way out of the sports bra and frowned at the bra. "How the hell does that work?"

"There are three latches on this side and one hook on this side. You press the bra against your chest like this and reach back to latch the hook to a latch. When you succeed in connecting the latch and hook, make sure it fits comfortably. It should be a bit snug, but not tight and not too loose. Then, pull the straps up."

He blinked. "Sure. Give me that."

"You might need some help at first. Everyone has trouble with it."

"I don't need help with this!"

She scoffed. "Don't blame me when you can't get it on."

Katsuki was surprisingly good, but struggled to latch it correctly.

"Fucking shit! I got one, but it's so damn tight!"

Ashido laughed. "Here, lemme help you with that. Does that feel better?"

He shrugged and moved his shoulders around. "Yeah. How the hell do you get these things on, especially so easily?"

"I mean, we have to do it all the time. We all struggle with it at first. For a little while, I kinda put it on backwards and latch it, then I turn it around and pull the straps up." She clapped her hands. "That reminds me, are the straps at a comfortable place? Hold on, lift your arms."

Katsuki lifted his arms and the bra slipped upwards.

"I see. Let me adjust the straps for you."

"No, no, these aren't even mine. I ain't gonna cause trouble with someone else's bras. Just..." he was able to unhook the bra and handed it back to her. He put on his shirt and walked towards the door.

"Thanks, or something, Pinky."

He then left the room, leaving her alone.

"Hm, I wonder what that was all about," she mused. "Well, no matter. I should get these back to Jiro."

Katsuki swiftly got back to his room and slammed the door. He couldn't help but smile at the giddy feeling wearing a bra had given him. He even started chuckling from the joy.

Just wait. Tomorrow, I'm not gonna feel like that.

He was right. He most definitely didn't feel like that the next day.

He was so confused he often disassociated from classes, staring out the window and letting his mind wander.

What the hell am I?

I wonder if I'm like Tape-Face with that weird fluidity thing.

Actually, I doubt it. Isn't it rare?

He's wearing a uniform skirt today, too. Interesting.

"U-uh, excuse me...?"

Oh my God, it's Purple.

Katsuki instantly jerked his head towards the entrance where Shinsou was standing awkwardly.

Wait a minute, are they wearing a uniform skirt, too?

Well shit, if those two can wear one sometimes, why can't I?

Aizawa sighed. "Yes, Shinsou?"

"I'm supposed to be training with you guys today. You're just about to leave, right?"

"Right. Exactly. Come on in."

Class 1-A got ready for hero training with Shinsou, whom turned out, to nobody's surprise, to be very quiet and self-centered. However, if someone did talk to him, he was very interesting. He had a lot of stories from general studies and what living with the class 1-C students was like. He even described a few of them and their Quirks.

Hero training was a basic mock rescue mission. Aizawa-style. Meaning that at least one floor would be collapsed, another dangerously electrified, another on fire, and maybe its foundation tips to the side a little bit. Nothing special.

Shinsou, however, was panicking. They had not been in this kind of situation before.

"Fucking God, does Mr. Aizawa do this often?!"

Todoroki sighed. "Yes."

Katsuki roared with anger. "Jesus fucking Christ, Aizawa!"

"Shut up and get the dummy," the teacher shouted down. "Don't wanna fail, right?"

In the end, the students succeeded in the mock rescue mission.

"That seemed simple enough," Uraraka said.

"SIMPLE?! We could have died!" Shinsou shrieked.

"Hey, hey, dude, it's fine. This happens all the time," Kaminari said, trying to comfort them.

"How do you guys deal with this?"

Kaminari shrugged. "He does this a lot. It's second nature to us now."

"WHAT?! HOW?!"

"Hey, calm down, calm down. It's scary the first few times, yeah, but you get used to it."

"HOW CAN I CALM DOWN?!"

Katsuki huffed and sat down next to the two. "If you can't handle it, I don't know how you'll handle getting into Class 1-A. Mr. Aizawa's done worse."

"He... what..." they mumbled breathily before collapsing onto Kaminari.

"Huh. I thought they'd be the type of person to be really calm in these kinds of situations," Katsuki muttered. "I guess not."

"Well, remember how I reacted the first time around?" Shoji piped up.

"Yeah, you're normally pretty calm, Shoji. I didn't really expect it. Todoroki and Tsu, though... they're a whole different breed," Kaminari commented.

"Icy-hot has trauma and doesn't show emotion, and I dunno what frog's been through to be so calm. She's just... odd. Aren't frogs normally kinda timid?"

Tsuyu bound Katsuki with her tongue. "I'm just built different, Bakugo. Don't test me."

"Oh, shut up!"

"You're the one that's been bound. I can throw you into the sun if you'd like."

"Whoa! Chill out, Tsu!" Shoji stuttered.

"Let me go, damn frog!"

"If you say so."

Tsuyu released Bakugo and hopped back to her friends, secretly flipping him off.

"GODDAMMIT, FROG! GET BACK HERE!"

"Dude, chill out."

Shinsou woke up just then. "What the fuck?"

It was a Saturday. Katsuki felt even more pissed off and "weird" than normal.

"Raccoon Eyes, get the fuck over here!"

Ashido shuddered, but walked over to him. "What do you need, Bakugo?"

With a very odd drop in pitch, he whispered, "I need clothes."

"Oh, sure. We'll go ask Mr. Aizawa for permission to leave campus."

So, they got permission to leave campus and went to a nearby mall.

"So, what were you looking for?" she asked.

He muttered something unintelligible. Again, it sounded like he was speaking an inhuman language.

"You have to stop muttering like that. I can't understand anything you're saying."

"Just... don't judge me."

"Why in hell would I judge you? I'm friends with Kaminari."

"Good point."

He leaned in and whispered in her ear.

"Well, duh. Sero asked me the same thing a few weeks ago. Besides, you would look amazing. Come on, let's go!"

She grabbed his arm and led him into a store.

"If you see something you'd want to try, just grab it. If you aren't sure about the size, grab two different sizes."

Katsuki spotted a black-and-white knee-length plaited skirt. "That one looks neat."

"Just take it!"

He eventually ended up taking a few skirts, a couple of cropped tops, a pair of denim shorts, some sweaters, and even a pair of white fishnet tights with skulls.

"Alright, now for bras. I'll help you with this part."

With Ashido's help, he was able to get a few bras that would probably fit him.

"Let's get you to a changing room!"

She dragged him to the changing rooms and waited patiently for him, trying everything on.

"Well, you look fabulous. As long as you feel good, that's really all that matters," she reassured him.

Katsuki ended up buying almost everything he originally got.

"I'd say that was a productive trip, wasn't it?" she exclaimed.

He nodded, trying to hide a smile.

"Oh, come on, I know you're happy about it, don't try and hide it!"

"Shut it!"

"Aww, you are happy! Come on, don't be shy and show me that smile I know you've been hiding!"

"I said, shut it, Pinkie Pie!" Katsuki couldn't help but flash a huge grin.

"There it is! I told you!"

"Stop it, raccoon eyes!"

"I get to see you happy, and that makes me happy. Same for the rest of them. So don't hide it, because one person being happy makes everyone else happy!" She smiled.

People get happy when I'm happy?

I thought I wasn't even allowed to be happy, especially not around other people.

Is this what really happens?

"I... didn't know that."

"You are strong, but you aren't the best in a social situation. No offense."

"Oh, come on! I'm awesome in social situations! I just don't wanna hang around with losers!"

"Exactly. That? That's not normal!"

"Of course it's not! I ain't normal!"

"Well, technically, I ain't normal, either!"

"Let's piss off normal people!"

She laughed and pumped her fist in the air. "Yeah!"

Katsuki, with the help of Ashido, was able to convince Aizawa to get zim a uniform skirt. Ze went by the title of genderfluid and used ze/zim pronouns and felt so much better. Ze even modified his hero uniform to fit zis identity.

Some people made fun of zim at first, and zis inferiority complex went overboard, but ze always had someone along to help defend zim. Usually it was Shinsou or Kirishima (but it was almost anyone nearby). Ze kept the name of Katsuki. It was a slightly more girlish name, but ze liked it.

Ze was suddenly in a world of peace.

Well, and chaos, but that's not important.
