A/N: Most characters and the main plot belongs to J.K Rowling. I do not own them
Harry and Ragnok made their way to the office. Harry was quite nervous having never really owned anything. He didn't expect to be extremely rich, he was hoping he had enough to get by comfortably. He had no idea what the vaults of the Most Ancient and Noble Houses generally contained but he didn't think it would be a lot.
When they arrived, Ragnok motioned for Harry to regain the chair he had used several times in this office. Ragnok then left to go fetch the papers to the contents of the vaults and also properties and investments. When he came back, he found Harry looking out of the bewitched window looking down on Diagon Alley seemingly in deep thought. Ragnok left him like that for a little while he organized everything then cleared his throat loudly enough for Harry to nearly jump out of his skin from the interruption which was rather uncalled-for. They both regained their seats at either side of the desk. Ragnok noticed the nervous look he had on his face. He was rather easy to read, something that he would have to point out at some point, it doesn't do to well if you can be read like a book, especially not with being a Lord.
"Well Lord Potter, I have here the papers you need to check over your vaults. I hope we can do business in the future, it will be extremely beneficial for the both of us." The goblin stated with a toothy grin after which he passed Harry the documents. The first one was the Black Trust vault.
Most Ancient and Noble House of Black
Black Heir Trust Vault (Harry Potter):
25,000 galleons (refilled to 25,000 galleons on July 31st every year until Heir reaches 17 years old)
This seemed to shock Harry which Ragnok found quite amusing, Harry wasn't ready for the rest to come. Harry was, in fact, stunned, he didn't know exactly but imagined that to be quite a lot. "Ragnok," he began "how much is a galleon worth in pounds ?" He wasn't sure if he wanted to know. Sure it would mean he understood it a lot more, even tho pounds weren't exactly his specialty either, and he would have a better idea of what he actually had. But the problem was the change that would happen in his life, one that he wasn't sure he could adapt to easily.
"Let me check" Ragnok replied, he opened one of the drawers out of his desk and pulled out a piece of parchment. "As of today, a knut, the bronze coin, is worth £0.01, a sickle, the little silver coin, is worth £0.29 and a galleon is worth £4.93, which means that just with your Black Heir Trust Vault, you are already quite wealthy" At this Harry had to pinch himself to make sure it wasn't a dream, he had done the calculations in his head and realized that in that vault alone, he had around £120,000. It took him a little while to recover from the shock but he realized that this was only the start and that if he was this shocked with this vault he might just have a heart attack from the others. So after a good 30 seconds, he picked up the second sheet of parchment, the Potter Vaults.

At this Harry didn't think he would be able to move for a couple centuries, the time that he takes it in. He owned so much which if you asked him two days ago, he would have thought you'd gone completely loony. But now, he had actually seen the things he owned, he couldn't believe it. And then he noticed something else, the amount of money he had: using quick maths, he gathered he was a multimillionaire which furthered his shock. Then he realized that he hadn't a clue how to manage money, it wasn't the sort of thing his aunt and uncle saw as necessary for a freak like him. He decided he would ponder that tonight, it's not like he thought he would get a lot of sleep that night anyways. So he went ahead and picked up the final piece of parchment.

Harry was quite relieved this vault had less money in it than the Potter one, he wasn't sure if he could stand ever again if it was, this was still a lot to take in. He didn't think he could handle all the money he had, Hell, he didn't think he would be able to handle the money in the Black Heir Trust Vault, let alone the rest. Ragnok noticed he had finished and motioned for him to give back the statements which Harry did.
"Well Lord Potter," He began, "it appears to me that you seem a little shocked at what you have, I imagine the Dursley's never taught you how to handle money ?" Harry shook his head 'no', so the goblin continued, "If you would like, I can manage your accounts until you decide otherwise, I will give you investment ideas and tell you what I think of the investments you plan on taking on. Unless of course if you want to try taking it on as of now ?" he asked raising his right eyebrow
Relief washed through Harry at this, he thought he would have to take care of it, which he had no clue how to do. " Thank you Ragnok, I would greatly appreciate that, I've never really had a lot living with the Dursley's" he responded with a slight chuckle
"Very well. Now, would you like to go see your vaults or would you like me to get you a weightless coin pouch ?" Ragnok asked. Seeing the confused he answered the question that was on Harry's tongue. "A coin pouch is a little bag that you only need to put your hand in and pull out some coins which will automatically come out of your vault"
"Oh well can I have a coin pouch please, I'll visit my vaults another day"
"Very well, if you would follow me into the lobby I will go get you one and you will then be able to get your shopping done" So they both got up and made their way towards the lobby to the left of Ragnok's office. Ragnok told Harry to wait at the teller he had come to the first day and started thinking on the events of the last two days. It was a lot to take in but he thought that he would be able to manage it growing up, maybe not his vaults, he would leave Ragnok in charge of that moment Bill Weasley appeared next to him and Harry explained that Ragnok had just gone to get him his pouch and that afterwards they would be able to get his stuff. They just started talking about themselves for a bit until Ragnok came back, Harry, having just of the curse breaking job was quite interested in it. Ragnok passed him his pouch, bid him farewell with a small bow which Harry returned and left.
"You must have impressed him Harry, goblins don't tend to bow to many people, they all seem to disrespect them. Stupid really, they don't seem to remember that the goblins hold all their gold" Harry chuckled at this and they made their way out of the bank. The first shop they visited was Ollivander's Wand Shop. It was a creepy sort of shop and it didn't seem exactly lively but Bill assured him that everyone got their wands from Ollivander's. He rang the bell on the counter and immediately a man with white hair who seemed to be quite old appeared.
"Ah," he began "I wondered when I'd be seeing you Mr. Potter. It seems only yesterday, your mother and father were in here buying their first wands" He then began rummaging through a load of boxes with wands in. An hour later, they were still at it and Bill had fallen asleep in a chair near the door. Harry felt like giving up until he tried the one in Ollivander's hand at the moment. He felt a huge rush of magic pass through him as soon as he touched it, there was a light golden glow emitting from him. Bill seemed to wake up at this. The glow disappeared after around ten seconds. It was a white and fine-grained wand
"Very nice wand there Mr. Potter, Aspen wood and a heart string of a Hungarian Horntail, 12.5 inches long and unyielding, the most fearsome dragon of them all. Going by the wood and the core, you will be quite an accomplished dueler if I say so myself. You will also be quite gifted in charms. Although given what you have already done, I think we can expect great things from you Mr. Potter, after all your parents were rather gifted, you father in transfiguration and your mother in charms. That will be 12 galleons please Mr. Potter" He said and Harry passed him the required gold and left with Bill. After that they made they way to Flourish and Blott's so he could buy his first year book and a few extra that interested him and a few Bill said were good to help. After buying all the books, Bill offered to shrink them and put the in Harry's trunk. It made life a hell of a lot easier. After that, they visited Amanuensis Quills to pick up a few quills, Harry liked a nice blue one that seemed quite expensive but given what he had in his vaults he had enough to cover it easily. Next was the cauldron shop across the road where he got his potions kit but would still need to go to the Apothecary to get the ingredients. Next stop was Madam Malkin's Robes For All Occasions. Bill offered to get his potions ingredients and owl treats because he knew Harry was going to get an owl while Harry got his robes sorted. He got his school robes but also a set of robes for formal occasions: he didn't know if he would need them so soon so bought them in case. After Harry had finished he met up with Bill who was outside waiting for him and they headed off to Eeylops Owl Emporium so Harry could go get the snow-white owl he had noticed earlier. He still hadn't decided on a name for her but he would come up with one. Bill suggested Hedwig, Harry quite liked it but he would see if he could find a different name tonight but he would probably go with Hedwig as it was a nice name. They then made their way over to the trunk shop across the street, he looked at quite a few until he settled on one that had 3 compartments which were magically enhanced along with a feather weight charm on it. That cost him 46 galleons and 8 knuts. The final shop they visited was Wiseacre's Wizarding Equipment where he bought a wand holster that had anti summoning charms on it and wasn't visible to anyone but the wearer.
After all the shopping, Harry offered to buy lunch for him and Bill for all the help he gave, Bill was rather persistent against it but gave up in the end. They made small talk until Bill had to go back to work and headed of for the bank. Harry then rented a room for another night and started reading his books. He couldn't find another name for his owl so he settled on Hedwig. He also tried a few spells, and for some reason that he couldn't explain they seemed to come easily to him, as if he had already learned them. He had learned a bit of the pureblood Etiquette too. He found out the wizarding world followed some customs the muggle world hadn't used since the Middle Ages but he didn't mind it, he actually liked it, he had always wanted to see what it was like to live back then and here, in the Wizarding World, there was a bit of a chance.
He continued reading until he decided to have dinner around 8 P.M. He had learnt a few spells, however all of them seemed to easy for some reason. The next day, he was to return to the Dursley's. He didn't have to but he thought that it would be the best thing to do. He asked Tom if there was an easy way for wizards to travel and he had something like apparating but he wasn't old enough for that, floo travel but as he said muggle houses aren't connected to the floo network, whatever that was supposed to mean, that wasn't the answer, and finally there was the Knight Bus. Apparently it wasn't pleasant in the slightest but it was a quick way to travel, so he decided he would use that method. But before leaving, he wanted to go around Diagon Alley one more time which he would do tomorrow morning. He paid for dinner and made his way to his room. He was reading Hogwarts: A History when he fell asleep.
He woke up the next morning at 7.42 and decided to go for a shower before having breakfast. By the time he had finished cleaning himself and eating it was close to 9 A.M so he decided to walk out the back into the Alley. He went into Quality Quidditch supplies for a final look at the Nimbus 2000. He wanted to buy it but knew it was useless as he had heard that first years weren't allowed brooms. He considered sneaking it in but decided against it after giving it a lot of thought. He then made his way to Magical Menagerie to buy some extra snack for Hedwig. The final place he planned on visiting was Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlour where he had a rather simple vanilla sorbet. He hadn't really had the chance to try these in his life so thought it would be a good idea. As he was making his way back towards the Leaky Cauldron, he saw a bushy haired girl trying hard to lead them back to the bookshop. They already had 2 bags full, yet she still wanted more. From what Harry gathered she was probably quite intelligent and therefore would be placed in Ravenclaw. He didn't know where he wanted to be placed. The place in which he wanted to be in the least was either Slytherin or Hufflepuff. Slytherin because they were all about blood purity and Harry didn't really understand it much anyways and he didn't want to be in Hufflepuff because after what he had read, it was for the people that weren't wanted in the other three houses.
He arrived at the Leaky Cauldron but before walking through the barrier he made a final attempt to imprint the Alley in his head. It was still stunning to him how this place could be hidden in the middle of London. After that, he made his way back to his room and grabbed his stuff and walked back out to muggle London after thanking Tom for the stay. Muggle London was a lot louder than the Alley. He could hear cars and horns going off all over the place, but this road seemed empty for a reason he didn't know. He put out his wand hand like Tom had told him to do and a few seconds later, a triple decker purple bus appeared in front of him. The conductor got off when it stopped and read off of a piece of paper.
"Welcome to the Knight Bus, emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard, my name is Stan Shunpike and I'll be your conductor for this evening" He said without looking up. He didn't look old at all, Harry would have said that he was 18 maybe even 17 but he wasn't sure. So he said hello and walked onto the bus and found a seat to sit down at. Stan then walked up to him. "Where is it you're going ?"
"Surrey, Privet Drive"
"Alrighty that will be 11 sickles unless of course un wanna hot choc'lat which will be 13 and if you wanna toof brush, it'll be 15, and you get to choose the colour"
Harry found his way of speaking a bit lacking for someone working on a bus, but hey, maybe they did things differently in the Wizarding World. "Just the ride please" and he passed him eleven sickles. It had to be one of the most uncomfortable things had ever done, he couldn't even sit down without moving all over the place. They went from London to Cardiff the to Dover, all the way back up to Newcastle and finally they made it back to Surrey. It had done the whole trip in about 10 minutes but he didn't ever want to use that method of travel again. Of course he knew he would probably have to use it again on September the first. It wasn't very likely that the Dursleys would be willing to drive him to Kings Cross, especially not after the tail Dudley acquired on Harry's birthday. As soon as he walked through the door Uncle Vernon started shouting at him and telling him to put his stuff in the cupboard under the stairs but Harry refused and threatened them with spells. Petunia knew he wasn't allowed to do magic outside of school after all, she did grow up with a witch herself, but was shocked when she found out he had been emancipated. He used a levitation spell to prove it. So he took all his stuff to his room and settled down on his bed which was quite uncomfortable compared to the one he had the last two nights. The Dursleys didn't bother him until the 30th of August when they said that they would be going to London to get the Tail Dudley sported off of him. At this point Harry, instead of asking, he told them he was going with them as they were going on the 31st and it meant Harry could get some more books from Diagon Alley before heading to Hogwarts. After all, the only thing he did since he got back to the Dursley's was read and practice spells, well one's that wouldn't do any damage anyways.
Right now he was sat on his bed in the Leaky Cauldron putting his new books in his trunk before heading of to bed, after all he didn't want to miss the train for his first year at Hogwarts.
A/N: Thank you again for the reviews ! I would like to answer some of the questions/suggestions you've had.
Yes Harry will be sorted into Ravenclaw as he picks up spells and everything rather quickly as I've explained in this chapter, tho the reason for that will come later
I plan on Harry getting some more help from the bank as the story goes
Sirius will come into the story earlier than canon but not straight away, Harry still doesn't know what the Godparent ritual is but I was thinking near the end of first year he finds out
As for Harry learning the pureblood Etiquette from his grand-parents, I didn't plan on it going that way but he might do a bit, I was thinking of Daphne teaching him that as time went, which would be time they also used to get to know each other
When it comes to merging House Potter and Peverell, I don't think I will do as they each have a seat on the Wizengamot and it would make things weird if they are the only merged family
I was never intending to bash Dumbledore a lot, I kind of like him and some people just go over the top with it. He will eventually work out his mistake and help Harry in his various missions and help him train along with his friends but Harry will never fully trust Dumbledore, not at the level he does in the actual books and films.
Yes, Neville will be Harry's friend instead of Ron because I've never really liked him much, he just never seemed right to me anyways, although it won't be a full bash there will still be a bit. He will get bashed a bit more than Dumbledore but Harry will still try to be friends with him on multiple occasion but Ron is a jealous git so, yeah, you get the picture
