They had ten minutes till Midnight and Emma was at a ten and she was starting to push.
Right at midnight Aria Rain Nelson-Hogart was born weighing 8lbs 9 oz and she was born with a head full of black hair, Jay was instantly in love and he hand so much respect for Emma, later that night Jay looked at Emma "well this little girl came into our world with a bang and she is going to keep us on our toes for the rest of it."
A couple of weeks after Aria was born Emma changing her diaper when Jay walked in her room, Emma looked at him and smiled "so I was wondering if I could get Aria for the night so that you can hang out with Manny," Emma looked at him and smiled "sure."
After Jay and Aria left Emma called Manny and they agreed to go and see a movie, while there they ran into Liberty, J.t and Toby they watched the movie together, after the movie was over they went to the dot and caught up on each others lives.
It had been six weeks since Aria was born and she was going to daycare while Emma went back to school, during Jay's lunch he would go to the daycare and check on Aria and he would update Emma, after school was done for the day Jay picked up Emma and they went to get Aria and go back to her house.
There routine went on for the rest of the school year and when summer came Emma started working with her mom at the salon, once a week Jay would take care of Aria so Emma could hang out with her friends, while at the pool on day she ran into this guy and they started talking and she developed a crush on him.
Junior year was starting and Peter had a going back to school party but since Emma was a mom she couldn't stay to late, meanwhile Manny was upset after having a fight with her parents she went to the party and got drunk and flashed her boobs while Peter recorded it and she later showed up at Emma's house completely wasted.
The next day Manny's mom showed up to school and told her that her father wanted her out of the house so Emma said she could stay at her house, after school that day they moved some things in Emma's room so that they could put a bed in there for Manny.
A couple of days later Peter had released the video of Manny showing her boobs, despite what Peter had done to Manny Emma started seeing Peter on the side, during the release of Jay and Silent Bob's new movie Emma caught her her father making out with someone else.
Emma's mom had found out and was kicking her dad out so Emma asked Jay if he could take Aria for the night and Jay agreed.
One day when Manny was telling her that her agent told her to lose a couple of pounds and to call her back, so Emma agreed to help Manny lose the weight, working out and eating healthy wasn't working so the girls decided to stop eating as much and throw up after, Manny had gotten to her goal weight and she stopped.
Since Jay would go over every night after work to help Emma take care of Aria and he had started to notice the changes Emma was going threw and he knew that her mom was preoccupied with her separation and Manny was busy with Craig.
One night Emma was feeding and changing Aria when Jay snuck in threw her window "what are you doing here this late?" Jay looked at Emma and she didn't look good and she was wearing a baggy sweater "are you okay just nodded her head and he took Aria and sat on Emma's bed.
A couple of weeks went by and Emma looked worse so he pulled Manny aside and had asked her about it and she told him that she hadn't been eating and when she did eat she would puke, Jay was starting to get worried about her and wanted to bring it up but anytime he did they would end up arguing.
Finally Manny had enough of Emma not eating so she talked to Peter and Jay about telling Emma's parents, so one day after school Emma came home and they sat her down and starting talking to her but Emma freaked out and ran to her room and started throwing Manny's stuff on the floor and then stopped because she couldn't breath.
Since Emma was in the hospital for a couple of day for her eating disorder Jay had Aria stay with him, Jay understood how stressful being a parent was so he made an oath with himself that he would help Emma more and take Aria overnight sometimes not just on weekends.
When Emma came home Jay had brought Aria to her and he noticed that she looked better and happy, "so how was she?" he smiled at his five month old "she was good but I could tell that she missed her mommy,"Emma smiled at him.
Over the next couple of months Jay kept his word and helped out more and he noticed that Emma was less stressed it also helped that Emma was seeing a therapist, summer was coming and Emma had finals so she would go over to Jay's apartment and study while he spent time with Aria.
