Sherlock and Watson had a pretty quiet night so far. No one had really called on them or they were working on the case filling everyone's time at the moment. Sherlock was pacing around the room, nearly breaking the floor with how much he was pacing. John was near falling out with Sherlock by how much he had been pacing.
"So what do we know so far?" John asked before he killed Sherlock and gave Lestrade another case to solve.
"We have two bodies. Two opposite sides of the working spectrum and have no link so far. No suspects, no alibis and no way we're going to solve the case anytime soon." Sherlock said, slamming into his armchair.
"I didn't need that much information. Tell that to Lestrade." John moaned.
Sherlock raised an eyebrow. John hadn't yelled at him since the last time they discussed a case. John kept staring at his computer, he was obviously on his blog site.
"What have you written so far? Anything about me." Sherlock changed the subject so John couldn't yell at him again.
"No. Just about the case." John shook his head, lying.
Sherlock smirked as he could tell anything he said was being written down by John. Then the phone rang interrupting the conversation which in Sherlock's mind wasn't going much further. Sherlock waited for John to answer the phone. John rolled his eyes and got up from his chair nearly throwing the computer at Sherlock. Sherlock grabbed the computer and read the newest blog post.
"Hello?" John said into the phone.
"John, I need your help." Lestrade's voice said shakily.
"Greg? Whoa slow down. What's going on?" John waved his hand to get Sherlock's attention.
Sherlock didn't even look up from the computer but was still listening closely. He could tell something was happening and by the sounds of it, Lestrade might need help once again.
"Okay. Don't worry we'll be there soon. Stay where you are." John warned, already grabbing his coat.
John put down the phone and stopped before getting to the door. Sherlock was still sitting on the chair. John was bewildered as to why he hadn't moved.
"Sherlock. Didn't you hear me? We need to go and find Lestrade." John huffed at Sherlock's reaction.
"I did. I'm sure the inspector can wait a few more minutes." Sherlock huffed back.
"Well I'm going whether you are coming or not." John walked out of the door knowing Sherlock wouldn't let him go alone.
Sherlock tapped his foot on the floor. John could tell he was getting annoyed as he heard Sherlock shuffle in his seat.
"Okay I'm coming!" Sherlock shouted so the whole world could hear.
John smiled to himself and stopped before he got to the bottom step. Sherlock came charging down the stairs with the usual Sherlock frown on his face. John ran to catch up with Sherlock as he was the only one who knew where they were going.

The taxi finally stopped outside a club. John sprung out of the taxi before Sherlock could say a word! Sherlock paid for the taxi and followed John. John searched around for the inspector and found him standing under a streetlight just across from the pub.
"You found me then." Lestrade smirked as he approached.
"Yeah and I'm not alone. Now what's going on?" John asked, putting his hand on the inspector's shoulder.
Lestrade pulled John over to one side and kept an eye on Sherlock. Sherlock knew this meant to keep an eye out. He made sure no one approached them.
"I need some help and I think you two might be able to." Lestrade breathed out.
"Of course." John smiled trying to put Lestrade at ease.
"I need to hide from someone. Just for the night." Lestrade finally said.
John was a little bit suspicious at this response. After the last time Lestrade had made them hide him, Anderson and Donovan were mad at them for a whole week!
"Alright who are you hiding from?" John asked, sighing.
"Mycroft. I think he might be mad at me." Lestrade gulped.
"Mycroft? Are you sure?" John kept back laughter.
"Yeah I might have missed tonight and I'm pretty sure he's going to yell at me." Lestrade straightened.
Sherlock could hear the whole conversation. He made sure no one was there and then walked closer to the club. Of course. It was one of Mycroft's clubs. He then walked back to the others to talk more.
"You left my brother alone?!" Sherlock whispered at Lestrade.
"I was busy with the case. Anderson and Donovan already have a close eye on me. I need to show them I can do a case." Lestrade whispered back.
"So?! My brother should come first."
"Alright girls calm down." John interjected.
Sherlock and Lestrade stared at each other for a few moments. John felt very awkward standing between them. They finally separated after seeing the look on John's face.
"That's better. Now I'm sure we can hide Lestrade just for tonight and discuss this with Mycroft in the morning." John calmed the situation.
"Fine but I'm not telling Mycroft why!" Sherlock gave in.
Sherlock hailed a taxi back to Baker Street. Lestrade wasn't too sure he should be going back there after the last time he had seen Mrs Hudson but he was sure it would be fine. He would just have to deal with Sherlock instead.

Sherlock sat staring out of the window as John and Lestrade went over the case. Sherlock looked over to them from time to time. He was still mad at Lestrade for standing Mycroft up but could understand why. The case right now was very important.
"So are you sure that's all we've got?" John sighed, looking down at the papers spread across the table.
"I'm pretty sure. Donovan always goes into everything in complete detail. She would never not tell me anything." Lestrade shook his head, wiping the back of his neck.
Sherlock got a text as soon as he said this. It was from Donovan. All three of them were needed at the police station. He looked at John trying to grab his attention without saying anything.
"What Sherlock?" John noticed.
"We're needed. Grab your coats." Sherlock answered.

When Lestrade, John and Sherlock turned up at the police station, Anderson and Donovan were waiting for them in Lestrade's office. They didn't look unhappy which was a good sign. True they didn't look happy either. True Anderson always had the same look on his face so you could never tell what was going on.
"You called." Lestrade said sitting behind his desk.
"Yes we've found something. We thought it might be important. Hope we didn't interrupt anything." Donovan nodded.
Lestrade's phone kept buzzing as Anderson went through what they had found. Anderson didn't really notice but Donovan did. Sherlock and John tried to ignore it but kept getting looks from her to tell Lestrade something.
"That's good. Look into it tomorrow and hopefully we'll be able to solve this case once and for all." Lestrade congratulated Anderson as he left for the night.
Anderson may have left, but Donovan wasn't so fast too. Lestrade piled his files together and then looked up at her. He nodded at Sherlock and John to wait outside. They did so.
"What's the matter?" Lestrade sat back in his chair.
"Your phone kept buzzing all the way through that. Something is up and you're not telling us." Donovan said pointing her head towards Lestrade's phone.
"It's nothing. Just someone annoying me." Lestrade shrugged.
"I don't believe you." Donovan crossed her arms.
"Well you'll have to. It's the only answer I have." Lestrade tried to leave.
Donovan wasn't going to give up that easily. True she was very tired and didn't want to fight with her boss right now. She nodded and left the discussion at that. Lestrade was surprised by this but let her leave. He was sure he would have it in his neck the next morning. He then finally looked at his phone.
"10 missed calls from Mycroft Holmes." The phone read.
"Oh shoot." Lestrade hissed.
Sherlock and John soon entered after Donovan left. They wanted to know everything they had just discussed.
"So what was that about?" Sherlock asked.
"She just wanted to know everything was okay and tell me my phone keeps going off." Lestrade waved his phone around.
"That's the thing. Mycroft called me and told me to take you to him." Sherlock admitted.
"Sherlock you can't." John whispered.
"Why?"
"Because I promised to hide him. We can deal with Mycroft in the morning just like I said. Now let's take Lestrade back to his flat."

Once Sherlock and John had dropped off Lestrade at his apartment, they finally made their way back to Baker Street. They hoped for the final time that night. Sherlock said he would stay up to think about the case. John let him as he didn't want to argue at twelve o'clock at night because Sherlock was never in a good mood at midnight.
"Just make sure you have enough strength to face Mycroft tomorrow." John warned him before calling it a night.
"Yes John."
Sherlock's phone rang at two. Only one person would call him at this time and he didn't want to deal with this person until morning.
"Yes Mycroft." Sherlock answered.
"Brother mine. Just checking in really." Mycroft's voice said.
"No you're not. You want to know if me and John were with Lestrade tonight." Sherlock tutted.
"I'm sure you have a good answer for that."
"Yes I do. We haven't seen him since we left Scotland Yard this afternoon."
"I know you're lying."
"Maybe I am. Why don't you discuss this with Graham?"
"It's Greg and he keeps not answering my calls."
"Well maybe that means something. Goodnight."
"No Sherlock! Don't you dareā¦."
Sherlock turned off the call and threw it across the room so he wouldn't be disturbed. John might have to buy him a new phone but it was worth it. Sherlock thought back to Lestrade. Another night, another hiding place. He just thought about where this would happen again and under what circumstances.
