Warning, this scene contains a death
(One week later)
As Kara and woke up, she quietly slid out of bed trying not to wake Lena. and changed into her Supergirl uniform for the day. On her way out of the apartment, she saw Lena was still asleep smiled, and gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead before leaving and trying not to wake her.
While flying to the DEO, Kara couldn't help but daydreaming about the events of last week. As she was gliding in the air, she then spotted a burning down building. She shook herself out of the revery. Flying by, she eventually stopped to help with the fire.

Meanwhile, Lena had already gotten ready for the day and just arrived at L-Corp. Lena had a meeting first thing in the morning and while still in a good mood from the previous week, as she walked in the building, Eve was waiting for her.
"Good morning Ms. Luthor." Eve said as they walked. "Good morning Eve." She said in a cheerful voice.
"We are about to start the finale trials for the Haren-El. Everything is waiting for you down in your lab." "Great. Is the first test subject ready?" "I will go get them."
Lena and Eve started to get all the equipment set up when Eve broke the silence with a question. "You seem distracted today Mrs. Luthor, everything alright?" "Oh, it's just some personal matters." "Well, I am always here if you need anything."
Ignoring Eve's comment, "Haren-El final test one." Lena exclaimed, recording the test.
As the Haren-El passed through their system on the first try, the test results had seemed to be successful. As the human with soon to be enhanced abilities started to lose control, Lena seduced them right away. Lena and Eve both smiled in triumph.

After Kara arriving to the fire, she started to analyze the whole scene. After saving all the bystanders in it, she was just about to put out the fire until she heard a voice. Kara didn't notice the voice at first but as she followed it, she heard someone calling for help. Using her x-ray vision, she searched around but there were so many led beams blocking her field of vision. Immediately putting out the fire, she zipped around the heating up building. Searching for the stranger, she finally found them but not before the building started to collapse under them from the heat.
Chasing after what she finally realized was her sister Alex, Kara flew straight down as fast as she could. Just then, Kara had caught her before it was too late. Immediately after she hit the ground, Kara was in denial, as she had always been used to saving everyone. This was a new feeling for her.
Still in shock, Kara stood there just looking at her sister even too sad to shed one tear. When out of nowhere came J'onn, running up to grab Alex and race her back to the DEO.
Kara too embarrassed and ashamed of what had just happened. She didn't want to be seen in public anymore, so she immediately just flew back to their apartment to be alone.
(Present day)
As Kara sit in her apartment staring out the window overlooking the whole city, she just sat their blank faced and blank minded. For once in her life, she knew that she had failed. Not just failed anyone, her sister of all people. She tried to let herself cry but not a single tear could come out. Kara had never been much of a crier anyways.
Just then she heard a knock on the door and saw it was Lena who let herself in. Kara turned back around. As if no one had entered. Kara had nothing against Lena now, she was just in her own absent world right now.
"I took the rest of the week off. Are you alright babe? I saw the news."
Kara shook her head.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"No."
"Anything I can do to help."
"I don't know."
Lena then gave her a hug and Kara rested her head on her shoulder. As Lena kissed Kara on the cheek, Kara then turned her head to the side to initiate a kiss. They continued to kiss but it didn't go past that step. While they were kissing, Kara felt she was able to be vulnerable around her for she was the one woman she loved.
As Kara knew she was able to show her true emotions around Lena, Lena started to feel several teardrops roll down Kara's face. Lena stopped the kissing and let Kara cry on her shoulder. This had been the first time Kara had showed this much emotion in front of anyone and in a way, Lena felt honored.
After a while when the crying stopped. Kara asked, "what should I do Lena?"
"She just sat there and listened for she knew that was the best answer."
After a while, Kara fell asleep on Lena's shoulder. Then she lied Kara down on their sofa gently, put a blanket over her body, and a pillow under her head to make sure she was comfortable. She kneeled and gave Kara a gentle kiss on the lips and whispered, "I love you." Then she went to go to sleep in their bed.
As always, feedback is always appreciated. Thanks all! (:
