"How many times has this happened to you?" The narrator boasted as a scene started, showing Ron and Kim in a park. Kim tossed a purple frisbee sporting a peace logo on it past Ron. She placed a hand on the waistband of her green cargo pants as she waited for him to catch it and toss it back.
The blond's eyes remained locked on the round, plastic toy as he sprinted, unaware of what laid before him. Suddenly, there was a large impact, and Ron went cross-eyed. He had run smack dab into the tree. Ron fell to the ground and the plastic frisbee skidded over his face before landing beside him. Kim, who had witnessed the whole event placed her face in the palm of her hand. Ron was so unbelievable sometimes.
"Well! Never again!" The narrator boomed, "Cause now there's the Pedestrian Airbag!" Once again, the frisbee is thrown and Ron chased after it. This time Ron had a yellow device strapped to his chest. As he turned to catch the frisbee, the blond bumped into the tree which caused the airbag to deploy. Ron looked down at it, grinning as it had saved him from any injury. Kim grinned and gave him a thumbs-up as he looked back at her. At least he was safe this way.
Another scene unfolded with Helga rollerblading by. She is wearing the standard safety equipment: Helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, but there is also the same Pedestrian Airbag that Ron had on her chest now.
The Narrator chimed in, "The Pedestrian AIrbag works for rollerblades!: As the Narrator talked, it's shown that Helga skated out in front of a car. The driver of the car looked surprised as Helga put her arms up, trying to protect herself. There was the screeching of car tires as the vehicle collided with Helga. The airbag inflated as Helga runs into the car, keeping her safe in the end!
The scene changed again and the audience was shown a nerdy boy opening his locker. From a nearby classroom, Stinky Peterson stepped out. His eyes locked onto the nerdy boy and he smirked, stepping over to him.
"It works for nerds!" The narrator squeezed in before Stinky grabbed onto the nerd by the back of the shirt. He pushed him forward into the lockers, but there wasn't the impact he expected. Instead, the airbag activated and kept the nerd safe from Stinky's bullying attempt.
The nerd taunted Stinky and then ran down the hall when he saw how angry that made his bully.
"Eh," the Narrator added, unsure of his previous statement, "Sorta."
The audience received one last scene change to Amanda Bynes in a pretty white summer dress. Attached to her chest is the yellow and blue airbag system. She was accompanied by a boy who was talking to her. He took her hands and leaned in a little, "Can I kiss your face?" He asked in a partially nasally voice.
"It even works on disgusting boys!" The Narrator spoke up.
Amanda winced at the thought of being kissed by this boy. She glanced around for a way out, any way out, "Well…" She trailed off, unable to think of anything. The boy didn't hesitate but instead, leaned in to try and plant one on Amanda.
Luckily for her, the airbag deployed and pushed the disgusting boy away from her. He stumbled back with a shout and landed in the nearby pool. Amanda pushed the airbag down and gasped at the boy as he flailed around in the water.
She giggled a bit as the narrator began to speak again, "She's okay!" Amanda confirmed this by giving a thumbs up to the audience.
"The Pedestrian Airbag! From the makers of The Inflatable Friend!" The Narrator concluded. We see a boy sitting on a bench with a piece of inflating plastic. It turned into a not-so-lively looking human and the boy grinned, happy to finally have a friend.
"Get one!" The Narrator demanded before the commercial cut out.
