This morning my dad decided we should walk together to the school, something about having a bad gut feeling, so I shrugged before rushing through breakfast.

His gut was right, though.

When we neared the school, the entrance was crawling with reporters. They tried to stop us for an interview – insulting dad in the process – trying to get information about All Might, but my father being who he is, had zero patience about the media being there, basically telling them they were annoying, then ignoring them as the security gate closed due to a female reporter trying to get in with no pass.

Entering the classroom was like walking through a curtain of anxiety. I tried my hardest to not make it visibly obvious that I was nervous as I walked over to my desk and sat down.

Mr. Aizawa shuffled some papers at the podium before diving headfirst into a lecture. "Good work with yesterday's battle training. I've looked over your grades and evaluations... Bakugo, grow up already and stop wasting your talent." He snapped tiredly.

"…Got it." The boy behind me grumbled, sending a shiver through my spine.

"And, it seems like Midoriya ended yet another day with a broken arm," He sighed, "Learn to control your quirk. Just trying isn't going to cut it anymore. I hate repeating myself, but you do have potential if you can overcome this. Work on it."

Midoriya answered with a determined, "Okay!"

"Now, on to more important business," Mr. Aizawa paused for dramatic effect making me roll my eyes at him. "Today, you'll be picking a class president."

At that, the class burst to life, most everyone amped up to become class president. I, however, had zero interest in this and knew exactly who I was going to vote for.

"Quiet down everyone!" Ida called out above the noise, effectively silencing the class, "Leading the many is a task of heavy responsibility. This sacred office demands the trust of its constituents! If this is to be a democracy, then I put forward the motion…that our leader must be chosen by election!"

I snorted at his speech, using such large words hurts my mind, but honestly, he seems to be the most responsible of the class, followed up by Yaoyorozu.

The others argued validly that people would likely just vote for themselves, but Ida was determined. Mr. Aizawa tiredly commented that he didn't care how it happened, just as long as we dealt with it quickly.

So…we voted. Midoriya somehow managed to tie with Yaoyorozu, and it was decided that Midoriya would be president while Yaoyorozu would be vice president.

"Wait, I have a vote?" Ida wondered in shock. "Who voted for me?"

Kaminari looked at him like he was insane. "You didn't vote for yourself?

Ida looked absolutely beside himself at the thought, and so I lifted my hand as I looked back at the mind-blown teen. "You already manage things in here like a class president, so why not?"

Mina laughed from her desk. "Good old Hana, being rational and stuff."

I shrugged my shoulders lazily. I thought it was the obvious choice.

Walking into lunch, my crazy group of friends all sat together again, with Bakugo sulking in his seat that happened to be directly in front of me this time, much to my chagrin. Kirishima was beside him on his right (my left), though, so it wasn't so bad. Not to mention that Jirou was on my left while Mina was on my right, making me feel safer and a tiny bit more confident with myself.

"Oh, Mina!" I gasped suddenly, turning to her. "Is there any more progress on your band?"

The pink girl almost sparkled more than Aoyama at my question. "Yes! We had, like, a true shojo anime moment. There I was, just minding my own business on the train, and it took the stop a little too quickly, making Mr. Clumsy stumble into me. I saw the pink band while he was apologized, waving his hand around. It wasn't really bright since we haven't been around each other often, but you know it gets more color with time and contact. Making eye contact, though, is when you really know, ya know? Plus, with a soul band this pink, who else could it be?" She pointed at her face for emphasis, while laughing lightly again.

I heard a grumble from across the table but chose to ignore it, commenting about her soulmate instead. "Well, I'm glad you were able to make contact. I guess he goes to a different school nearby, though?"

She nodded looking a little disappointed, then turned to Kaminari who had said something about her being too girly about the soulmate thing.

I jumped as I heard Bakugo scoff, angrily stabbing at his food. "Fuck the whole stupid thing. It's all a waste of time."

If glares could actually hurt people, I would have burnt a hole in his stupid thick skull. I was already tired of his nonsense, and I barely even know him. "Well, mister 'I'm too good for everyone else', some people are actually excited to meet someone that's made for them. It's meant to be something that brings people together to strengthen them, so excuse us for having an outlook on life other than some sort of superiority complex!" The other occupants of the table went silent, eyes wide as they admired my courage yet feared the result of it.

Now it was my turn to feel a burning glare. "The fuck did you just say to me, bitch?"

My eye twitched.

And there went my self-control.

I slammed my left hand on the table and stood up, thankful for the new thinner and transparent gloves as I made my underlying point clear as day. "I said, you have a superiority complex. Also, call me a bitch again, and I'll have to show you what an actual bitch is like." I all but growled the last sentence.

The furious fire in his eyes flickered as he glanced down at my hand, and of course, my own fire started to dwindle. Lifting my hand to make it easier to see, I lowered myself back to my seat. "I'll show you mine if you show me yours."

He didn't comment, only growled in frustration before grabbing his tray and storming off. Of course, that's when I noticed that my second band was ridiculously brighter than his now, and my brows scrunched up in confusion. Pulling my hand in closer, I gazed from the now irritated-looking orange and green band to the vibrant red and black one.

"That…was awkward," Mina mumbled from my side before she noticed my confusion. She looked at my finger also, but from the angle she was sitting she also saw something else as well. My attention was pulled over to her as I suddenly noticed her bouncing slightly in her seat.

"Oh…my…god!" Her eyes were glued to something to my left, and I couldn't help but follow her stare to Kiri as he made a motion for her to be quiet only to be caught.

His sheepish grin said it all – well that and the fact that I could clearly see the three bands on his own left hand that apparently no one had noticed yet, and I facepalmed with a groan. "First, I'm so stupid, and second," I removed my hand from my face to send him a light glare, "Were you just, not gunna say anything?"

He opened his mouth to answer, but I held my hand up stopping him. "You know what, I'm too tired for this. I'm gunna go back to the class."

Despite my friends' and apparently second soulmate's protests, I stood and threw away my again unfinished food before going to leave, only for a shrill alarm to cut through the air.

"Security Level 3 has been broken." An automated voice cut through the surprised chatter as the students tried to figure out what happened. "All students, please evacuate in an orderly fashion."

The panicked voices of the students burst to life and I was quickly shoved around by the crowd.

Students were shouting to slow down, stop pushing, and I couldn't manage to get out of the way quick enough. It didn't take long for me to become overwhelmed by all of the unknown bodies pushing against each other. My panicked eyes raked across the mass of faces in a frenzy, attempting to guess who had what kind of quirk. My eyes landed on some random blonde-haired, blue-eyed guy that was within reach.

Tearing my glove off, I flung my arm out, and grazed his hand – thankfully he wasn't paying much attention to what I did. I scrunched my eyes closed, hoping his quirk would be useful to get out of being crushed against the wall. Suddenly, the pressure of the wall against my side seemed to become softer, almost engulfing me, until I started feeling the air shift around me as the quirk left from having only grazed the guys' skin instead of full contact.

Peaking an eye open, I panicked for a second. How was I outside?! It must have been that guy's quirk, maybe it's some sort of quirk that lets you shift through solid objects?

I shivered at the breeze again, why is it so…I looked down then went into a panicked frenzy again. "WHERE ARE MY CLOTHES?!"

I instantly crouched down with my back against the wall, using my arms and legs to hide what I could of myself just in case someone happened to come by.

"Ohmygodohmygodohmygod." I have to figure something out, someone surely will notice the random pile of clothes on the floor…I hope Mineta isn't the one that finds them... Just the thought had me cringing. I can't go walking around to try to get back inside either since everyone is supposed to be evacuating. I groaned, letting my head fall back against the wall.

"Hey, aren't you Aizawa's kid?" a female voice broke through my mental panic fest. "Here I thought I was the only R-rated hero, are you coming after my title, sweetie?" I looked up to see Midnight giving me a smirk while tapping her whip against her empty hand.

I shrunk in on myself even more. "It was an accident. I just…I shouldn't have done it, but I borrowed a random quirk without knowing what it was. I'm not sure what exactly happened, but I'm out here and my clothes aren't…" My poor head felt like it was about to explode from how much I was blushing and mortified.

Midnight laughed lightly, then pulled out her phone, pressing something on the screen. As it rang loudly – obviously on speakerphone, she looked back at me. "You know, I won't leave you here like this, but I have my own punishment for you since you used your quirk when you weren't supposed to – not to mention some entertainment for myself. Ah, you actually answered!" Her eyes lit up with a strange excitement.

"What do you want, Midnight? Mic and I are trying to deal with the press. They somehow managed to get past the gate." At the sound of my dad's voice coming from the phone, I swear my soul left my body.

"I have a student from your class here outside of the building. She used her quirk on an unknown student, and – what? You fazed through the wall, right? She ended up looking as R rated as I do." Midnight asked nonchalantly making circles in the air with her whip.

"I wish I had just sunk into the ground instead," I groaned quietly. This is so traumatic.

"I don't have anyone in my class that uses a quirk like…wait…what do you mean 'R rated like you?" He asked sounding frustrated, and the sound of other voices in the background started to fade.

The female hero looked down at me with a sadistic grin that made it obvious that she was enjoying this. "You explain to him, sweetie!"

She held the phone out as she crouched down to my level. My face was beyond the point of red, and honestly, kind of felt like crying. "I- I'm sorry. I didn't think…"

"Hana? What do you mean you didn't- wait, you copied some random student's quirk?! You know how dangerous that could have been!" He heaved a deep sigh, and I could only imagine he was running a hand over his face tiredly. "Where are you?"

Midnight answered for me, "Outside the main hall into the lunchroom. I'll meet you, but you should bring one of those gym suits, she doesn't have any clothes."

The sound of fumbling met our ears, before his voice came back through the phone speaker, "What?! How-?"

Midnight interrupted, finally tired of the embarrassment, "I'll find her things after we get her situated. Just be quick, Aizawa." He grumbled before hanging up. Her gaze met mine, looking the tiniest bit guilty for the tears in my eyes. "You know better than to use your quirk outside of your classes, especially when you don't know what quirk you're copying. I hope you've learned something from this."

"Yes, ma'am," I mumbled looking down at the grass.

To say my dad was irritated with me was an understatement. After I dressed in the gym clothes, he silently walked me back to class as Midnight went to get my things from the hall out of the lunchroom.

Opening the classroom door, Mr. Aizawa stomped up to the front, and I shuffled to my desk gaze on the floor as I heard whispers break out across the class.

Yeah, I definitely got my punishment for using my quirk without thinking.

Yaoyorozu and Midoriya went to the front of the class to speak about other counsel members only for Midoriya to say he was going to hand his position over to Ida. Dad glared at nothing in particular saying, "Whatever, just get it over with…what a waste of time."

Just then, Midnight let herself into the classroom, placed my uniform, protective clothes, and thankfully undamaged phone onto my desk, winked, then strutted back out. Again with the awkward silence. I let my head fall onto the clothes, wishing I could be invisible. This day was the absolute worst ever.

This chapter was kinda short compared to my normal, but I hadn't spaced out the chapters correctly for the USJ attack coming up. I may just double upload...I'm not sure yet.

Anywho, thanks to any readers! Hope you enjoy this story so far!
