Okay so I got really good feedback. For the guest review asking for a Webby and Lena it might. Right now it will be Webby and Bentine. They need to have a conversation. After all Betnina has lied to Webby just before her fight with June so they need to try and patch things up.

Bentina was walking with Webby next to her as she was going to put her to bed after having talked with Scro… her father. I t would take some getting used to, but they could manage that. Right now, Bentina was more worried about their two relationship. Webby knew she had lied right to her face. It had been hard to do so but when she had realized June was really Webby after having told everything while she was captured. It had been her worst nightmare come true. Her family had been captured, she had been captured and her granddau … daughter had seen it all while interrogated her. It was a horror Bentine had a nagging feeling that memory would haunt her for a long time. Bentine looked up as she saw they had reached Webby's room and entered. When she had closed the door, she found Webby on her bed, but she wasn't preparing for bed but instead looking at her. Bentine knew what was coming next.

"You promised me you haden't any more secrets and then you lied to me and had a secret for me" Webby said softly while looking down.

The soft tone while the child she had raised sonding like she had betrayed her pierced her heart more than any weapon could. She knew she would have to try and explain why she had done so. She went over and sat down next to her.

"I am sorry Webby. I know I promised that and believe me telling you that lie it was the worst thing I ever did. But when I found you I took you to Scrooge and I swore I would keep you safe. No matter the cost and that was why I lied to you. Even so I am sorry" Bentina said.

"I understand but you hurt me. You promised me and you broke your promise" Webby said.

"I know and I wish there was a way to make it up to you" Bentina said looking ashamed.

This made Webby look up at her.

"Tell me everything. Why did you bring me to Scrooge? How did you find the F.O.W.L base? What was it like when you were an agent? How did you and Scro … I mean dad partner up after the first mission? How is Ludwig Von Drake still alive? How did you become director of S.H.U.S.H? Did you run into Black Heron again after your first mission with dad?" Webby asked.

"Webby slow down. I can't answer so many questions at once" Bentina replied.

Webby calmed down and looked up at her waiting for her to tell. Bentina took a deep breath. She knew what Webby had really said under all the questions. She wanted answers. She wanted to know everything. It was her price for forgiving her.

"Webby many of the things I can't tell you. They are classified but tell you what. If you get ready for bed I will tell you how I brought you to Scrooge and what happened after that. I can find out how much I can tell you on another day. What do you think about that?" Bentina asked.

Bentine could feel her heart beating as Webby thought about it. She wanted to earn Webby's forgiveness. She wanted the girl to look at her with trust again. Finally Webby looked up and nodded.

"Okay but don't hold anything back. I want to know everything you can tell me" Webby said.

Beakley thought about it for a moment and then nodded. Webby hurried to get ready for bed and then came and sat on the bed. Bentina took a deep breath before she began.

"Well I suppose I should start with finding you in the tube. You where so small and innocent. As the base began to close in you began to cry and I knew I had to save you rather than finish my mission" Bentina began.

Bentina opened the tube and scooped the tiny girl into her arms. She couldn't help but smile as the little girl babbled to her clearly communicating with her as she clearly was to small to talk.

An explosion made her focus this base was going to explode she needed to get out of here before they both would perish in an explosion. Bentina ran out of the room and down the hall only to find an egg head. Fighting with one arm holding a tiny baby was not an easy thing and she got several hits before she managed to kick him into the wall. Bentina continued down the hall and ran some more only to stop as an explosion happened right in front of her. She tossed herself to the ground with the baby held so she would not be hit. Pain hit her and knocked her out.

The flames came closer as she woke up with the tiny baby screaming in her arms. She needed to get out of here and fast. Even though she felt tired, worn out and with more than a few scratches. Even so she knew she had to continue so she started running to get out. She kept running as she got outside and even then, she first stopped when she was in safe distance as she turned around and watched as the base exploded and fell to the ground.

Bentina knew that she should pursue the remaining F.O.W.L. agents and make sure that this time nothing would be left it. If she did not, they would just grow once more and continue to larceny against the world. Yet she was so tired and drain and now she had a tiny baby to protect. She looked down at the small girl still safely in her arms. She looked up at the destroyed base and took the hardest decision she had done. Hunting down F.O.W.L. was out of the question. They had wanted this girl for some reason if she was to protect her, she had to disappear completely. If she was to disappear there was only one duck in the entire world, she could think off that would have the resources and will to place her and the girl in hiding. She would have to sneak into his mansion and hope he was willing to do it. The last thing she had heard to him was that he had cut himself up from everyone after Della had taken the Spear of Selene and got lost and Donald in anger over it had taken her eggs and left. Yet it was her only chance, so she decided to traveled back to Duckburg in the middle of the night.

DT

It had been a long journey and she was completely out of money. To get food for the two of them she had broken into a shop and take the supplies they needed and then leave the money for it on the desk. She had not wanted to take any chances. It was why she had almost cried of relief as she stood in front of the gate to the mansion … almost. Now all she needed was to sneak in and hope that Scrooge would be in a good enough mood to open his door for them and help them. She looked at Webby which was wide awake. She put on the small bow she had "bought" in the last shop and then secured her before she crawled over the gate and sneaked all the way to the front door mindful of avoiding the cameras.

Bentine came to the door and took a deep breath as she knocked on it and waited. Then finally she heard steps coming to the door. It was opened and a ray of light felt on her from the inside.

"Cause me celt what time of night is to come knocking at. Ah am too …" Scrooge said but stopped when he looked at who was standing outside.

Scrooge looked at Beakley and saw how battle worn and utterly exchausted she looked. It was clear that she needed a bath and a bed to sleep in and some much-needed food if the hunger on her face was any indication. Good sack of delirium had the poor woman starved herself the last week or so? Then he noticed the tiny baby in her arms. He could not help but feel his heart reach out for it and he didn't waste any time asking questions but just stepped aside and gestured her inside. She looked utterly relieved when he did so.

"Go get a bath. I will go and make you a meal and wait for you in the studies. As for this tiny lass you can bring her into the fifth room on the right in the left wing down the hallway" Scrooge said.

He left her before she could say anymore, and she was glad. She could feel the exhaustion set in and the mention of a meal made her stomach rumble. There hadn't been entirely enough food on the journey so she had skipped more than a few meals to keep Webby feed. She followed his instructions and entered the room. Her heart sank when she saw it was a fully furnished nursery. It was not hard to realize who that room original had been made for. Scrooge had wanted for his niece to bring her children up here as their home. Bentina put Webby down in a crib and began to rock her to fall asleep. Thankfully, it didn't take to long this night and soon the small child slept. Tired and worn out she found the bathroom and took a short shower which freshened her up and got the travel dirt off her. It was so nice to be clean after a week with only drinking water. Even so the tiredness rolled up in waves and she knew she would have to sleep and soon. Yet first she needed to talk to Scrooge and explain what was going on. She had used the last week to prepare the explanation as she couldn't tell everything, but she needed to give him as much as she could. She owed him that much. Bentina quickly found the study and sat down in the comfortable chair waiting for Scrooge as she closed her eyes for a moment. Sitting in something so soft after a week on the hard ground it was very nice. She allowed herself to relax she was safe as was the child.

The next thing she felt was someone who was tugging her and the smell of food that made her stomach rumble. She opened her eyes and found Scrooge putting a tray with food in front of her. Scrooge had barely time to move out of the way before she began to eat.

"Easy 22 if you eat so fast you wind up being sick" Scrooge said.

Bentina knew this but the need for food almost overwhelmed her. She forced herself to eat slower. Scrooge sat in his chair waiting for her to be finished. When she had done it she looked up and saw he was waiting for an explanation.

"I … I received word that there was a single surviver in the explosition that had killed my …. Well you know" Bentina said unable to finish.

Scrooge knew alright. Only a month before Bentina had received word that her daughter and her husband had been killed in an explosition that S.H.U.S.H. believed had been caused by F.O.W.L.

"I set out to find out and found that there was one survivor my granddaughter Webby. Yet while I searched I had a run in with F.O.W.L. I intended to take us both down. We barely escaped with our lives" Bentina explained.

In truth she hated that she was laying to her most trusted partner but if she were to keep Webby safe no one could know what the truth was. She looked up at Scrooge.

"I need to disappear. I need to hide away from anything. I do not want anything to happen to the poor girl. I have lost enough people as it is. I know that you are not as well of as earlier, but you are the only one I can think of that has the resources to make us disappear comepletly" Bentina said.

Scrooge looked at her for a long moment before he said anything.

"Ah see. If that is the case then, Ah can employ you as my secretary or as my householder. Ah can't give a lot in wages, but I can give you shelter and cover" Scrooge said.

"I can't work for you as a secretary. You are the richest duck in the world. You can barely set food out of the mansion without it making the news" Bentina said.

"Well then you and Duckworth can share about running the mansion if you want to. Ah need a good housecleaner and demon slayers those things creap into the mansion every now and then" Scrooge said.

"I thought you gave up such things after Della …" Bentina began.

"Now listen here 22. I am only saying this once. You will NOT speak that name again within these walls" Scrooge snapped before she could say anything more.

Bentina did not agree on the subject but arguing about it right now wasn't the right time to do it. Besides she couldn't risk angering Scrooge as it was.

"Very well. Any other rules I should know about?" Bentina asked.

"Duckworth can explain the rest for you tomorrow. Right now you need to sleep and I need to call S.H.U.S.H. and report you to be dead. It is the only way to make them stop looking for you. I will set up an account in my name but meant for you to manage your bills. Duckworth can continue buying the things we need so you don't have to leave the house" Scrooge said.

As Scrooge speaked the reality hit her. She might end up living the rest of her life in this mansion. It was a hard reality. She was a born spy but now she was just giving it all up. Even so it was what she had to do to keep Webby safe. She looked up at Scrooge and rose.

"Thank you Scrooge" she said softly.

Scrooge nodded to her and she gave him a soft smile before she turned to find a bed. She was desperate to sleep. She felt a sleep in the same room as Webby utterly drained.

So you gave up your spy life and stayed here for 10 years to keep me safe? Webby asked.

"Yes but I don't regret it at all.

Webby jumped into her arms.

"Thank you for all you have done" Webby whispered. Bentina's heart melted as she hugged. She might have earned some level of forgiveness today as.

A/N There you have it. How Bentina Beakley turned up on Scrooge doorstep. I made her a bit worse for wear than Ducktales. Also yes Duckworth is still alive. I deducted this because Webby act like she knows him when he returns as a Ghost. So he has to be alive some of her years. Also yes there will be a Lena and Webby making up chapter.
