Chapter 3

Melody skipped down the corridor with a manic smile on her face. Other students stepped out her path with worried expressions on their faces. Trouble was in the air.

She skipped into The Sixth Form Common Room and flung herself onto the sofa where Bethany was working on her science homework that was due that day.

"Are you on crack or something?" Bethany mumbled under her breath.

"I have RAX photos." Melody chuckled, "RAX is happening."

Bethany's head shot up from her homework with a bright smile on her face, "Seriously?!"

"Yeah, I saw them snogging last night, got some pretty clear photos also."

"I KNEW IT!" Bethany exclaimed, "Airdrop them to me please."

Melody pulled out her phone and sent the photos to her friend.

Just as Bethany was inspecting the photos, Frankie and Bethan walked in and sat beside them.

"So RAX is canon." Melody informed the girls, "I finally got proof."

"Told ya so." Frankie giggled, pointing at Bethan.

Bethan rolled her eyes, rooted through her school bag to find her purse. She pulled her purse out and located the £5 that she now owed her friend.

"Remind me never to make a bet with her again." Bethan grumbled as she handed the £5 note to Frankie.

"So what are we to do with this information?" Bethany mused aloud.

"Start a betting pool with the sixth form?" Melody prompted, "We could make a killing with this info."

"Isn't that illegal?" Frankie questioned.

Melody looked at her, "What?!"

"She means that it's insider trading, and yes it's illegal but I don't think that it counts in cases like this." Bethany explained.

"Ah." Melody replied.

"No, I think we shall keep this quiet for now, but I do want to let RAX know that I know." Bethany smirked at the thought.

"What does that do?" Bethan asked.

"Puts them on edge for a while, or forces them to come clean. I don't know." Bethany told her.

Bethan just shrugged back at her, before pulling out her maths homework.

"Right, Frankie, get your homework out and I'll help you."

Frankie looked at her, then at the homework, "Can't I just copy yours?"

"No, copying me won't help you in the exam, you need to know the material."

Frankie pulled her homework sheet out along with a pen, "Right explain what the fuck Lawson was on about, I'm ready."
