CHAPTER THREE

Donna does not know rather to tell Dylan the truth or not, especially after catching him kissing Kelly, yet he said he loves Brenda, but her getting upset about what he had done is what caused her to pass out to begin with. Donna looks at Kelly and sees a small smile on Kelly's face and could not believe it. Kelly was happy that Brenda was hurt. She could not be, yet there she was smirking, Kelly was smirking. In a low voice so only Dylan could hear, she draws his attention to Kelly, "Look at Kelly, she's smiling."

Dylan was shocked and saw it before Kelly could cover it. Dylan got incredibly angry. "How can you be smiling? You are happy that Brenda could have something wrong with her? How could I have misjudged you so badly? What if it is serious? Would that make you happy? How can you be so hard hearted?"

David says "Dylan, do you have some smelling salts?"

Donna unthinking says "Yeah, right David, that is going to help her brain tumor, smelling salts? I don't think so." Donna throws her hand over her mouth.

Dylan asks shocked, "What brain tumor?" he yells!

"Brenda is going to kill me. She passed out in France and they did an MRI of her brain and found a tumor that is growing as we speak. She does not have much time. She needs to have surgery to have it removed. That is why we came home early. She made me promise not to tell anyone. She was going to tell everyone after we stopped here, we were going to have everyone come to the Walsh's and tell everyone then. Jim, Cindy and Brandon do not know yet. She was not to get upset, but finding Kelly here with you kissing her Dylan, went out the window."

"Oh, my god what have I done?" A very shocked Dylan said, thinking he may lose Brenda, who he realized he loved more than anything. He could not lose her, he would not! He refused to lose her.

Kelly realizing that Brenda may die, and it would partly be her fault thought of everything Brenda had done for her over the last few years and just made it to the garbage before she threw up. Brenda was always there for her from the first day that Brenda started at West Beverly High School. She sure screwed up and she was going to make it up to Brenda. She would. Brenda had what she wanted, a loving family, Dylan as a boyfriend and people liked the person she was because she was a kind person, a caring person. She was also beautiful on the outside to go along with her beautiful inside. Kelly was jealous and wanted what she had. She was very jealous of Brenda and everything she had. She wanted what Brenda had, including Dylan. Kelly had loved Dylan for a few years, but just when she was ready to make her move, he met Brenda.

Donna looks at Kelly, who felt guilty, you could see it on her face. She wondered how long that would last. Donna felt no sympathy for Kelly. She knew how Kelly felt about Dylan and knew she had probably gone after him, not the other way around. She looks at Dylan, who is pleading with Brenda now, to wake up. He is crying realizing how serious this is.

Kelly sure is not smiling anymore she wishes Brenda would wake up even if she would be full on hit her. She would deserve it, but just so that she was okay, but she was not okay. No, she was not smiling, anymore.

Finally, the paramedics arrive, and Donna tells them about what is going on and what they found when they got to Dylan and Dylan and Kelly glared at Donna for telling the paramedics, who would not let Dylan go with them, but chose Donna to go instead with them in the ambulance. Donna threw David the keys to her car and she jumped in the ambulance while Dylan told David and Kelly to move their cars because he needs to get to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center because he wanted to be there when Brenda was brought in so they moved the cars headed to the hospital themselves, but David made a call to Jim and Cindy Walsh just letting them know that Brenda was headed to what hospital and that it was very serious. He did not want to tell them that Brenda may be in a coma he heard the paramedics say after Donna told them what happened in France and at Dylan's. She may not wake up he heard. She may have to have emergency brain surgery if it was as bad as they feared after they checked her over. They could not wake her up, nothing they tried worked, which upset the rest of them. He heard the paramedics talking. He was the only one that heard. He called Steve, Andrea and Brandon, he figured that Jim or Cindy would call him. Brandon would tell Nat; he was sure of that. Nat loved Brenda. They all loved Brenda. She had, has, she has a big heart. She is still here as far as he knew. He would believe that.

At the Walsh's house Jim got off the phone from David and called Cindy and told her that Brenda was on her way to the hospital and that David said it was serious and that he was calling Brandon and letting him know not only was Brenda home that she was headed to the hospital and it was serious but did not know what happened because David refused to explain to him what happened. What could have happened to his daughter? Was there a car accident? David said health issue and that the doctors would explain.

Donna in the ambulance, knowing it was not good that Brenda was not waking up called her Dad and told him what she knew and what the Doctor in Paris said, and he hung up, him and Felice walked out the door and she drove so he could call a Doctor that he knew that dealt with brain tumors and had really good results in his surgeries and wanted him as Brenda's doctor because he trusted him with her. He loved Brenda like she was his own daughter. She treated his daughter with respect and not what she could do for her, like another girl he could think of.

He hurried into the hospital and saw his daughter; his wife went over to a scared Donna and Dylan was sitting crying into his hands saying "It's my fault. If Brenda dies it is my fault."

Felice is shocked. She is about to say something when Kelly can be seen also crying. "Your Dad called a really great Doctor he knows that does this kind of surgery and he is on his way here. He is going to check Brenda out. Your Dad called that Doctor you told him his name and had the report faxed here so John has that information here waiting for him and the Doctor he got a hold of."

"Brenda, is not going to die, is she?" A trembling Kelly asks. "It's my fault, if she does?"

"What is going on here?" Jim Walsh and Cindy walks in, "Where is my daughter? What is wrong with her? Why is it your fault Kelly?"

Kelly knows she must tell the truth to everyone about what she did and that she did it on purpose. Will they and Brenda forgive her?
