Matt (Guest): Total Drama couples don't normally have Idiosyncratic Ship Names, but I like that one!

Omni Spectator (Guest):...You do remember that the last story had two characters raised by LITERAL GODS, right? Also, my favorite type is a tie between water and fire.

Okay, so I can't come up with anything, we are setting up for the Island Challenges. But first, Kukui and by extension, Emma and Kitty, need to find and take in Lillie! And Nebby. Emma is now fourteen and Kitty and Hau are eleven. Get your bags ready because here we go!

"C'mon Emma!" Kitty called back to her sister, who was running in an attempt to keep up with her. "We're gonna miss the flock!"

"Kitty, slow down!" Emma playfully snapped. Now older, both girls had been planning to begin their Island Challenges. As soon as Kitty had turned eleven, the plans had begun. They wanted to go that day, but their parents told them that they had to plan things out first. While upset, Emma had understood why and explained to Kitty the best she could.

First problem? Team Skull.

No one exactly knew what Team Skull's deal was. They suddenly just showed up one day and started harassing people, especially people on the Island Challenge. No one took them that seriously, but they could still be quite dangerous.

But now, Emma and Kitty weren't thinking about that. Instead, they were thinking about the flock of Wingull and Pelipper that would be flying overhead on Heahea Beach. Kitty just thought it would be cool to see, but Emma was interested in studying the flight patterns of the flock. She had already decided that she wanted to become a professor in Alola someday, studying Pokémon behaviors. But that was still a ways off. First things first: her Island Challenge.

"Look! I see them!" Kitty called out. Emma looked up and, sure enough, saw the flock. She whipped out the camera she brought and began recording. She'd take notes on what she saw later. Right now, she just wanted to watch.

"This is...incredible!" Emma exclaimed as she used her camera to follow the flock across the sky. The two girls continued to follow the flock across the beach, their eyes focused purely on the Pokémon. Thankfully, the flock either didn't notice them, or didn't care because they weren't sure if they could fend off a flock that big, especially with no Pokémon of their own (yet).

"Hurry up Em-WHOA!" Kitty cried as she tripped over something.

"Kitty, are you okay?!" Emma asked as she rushed over to her sister and helped her up.

"I'm fine…." Kitty trailed off. Emma looked down and saw what she tripped over.

Or rather, who.

Unconscious on the ground was a young girl. She was maybe around Kitty's age with a white dress, hat and a pokéball bag. Something was in the bag.

"Em….what do we do?" Kitty nervously asked.

"Go get Mom, I'll try to wake her up," Emma ordered. Kitty nodded and raced back into town.

"MOM!" Professor Burnet looked up from her research to see her daughter frantic rushing towards her.

"Kitty? What's wrong?" She asked as she put down what she was working on. "Where's your sister?"

"We were looking for the flock and I tripped over this girl on the beach!" Kitty exclaimed. Burnet's eyes widened. A girl on the beach?

"Take me to her," Burnet said. Kitty grabbed her hand and led her to the beach. Burnet already did like what she saw. A girl around Kitty's age was coughing up water. Emma was gently rubbing her back and trying to calm her down. She then noticed her mom coming over and waved her over.

"We found her like this. She just woke up," Emma explained so that the girl could recover.

"Good job," Burnet commended before turning to the girl. She made sure that she was speaking in a soft tone and was wearing a soft expression. "Are you okay?"

The girl was shaking, hugging the bag to her chest. "I….I think so."

"Can you tell us your name?" Emma asked, putting on her best 'caring big sister' voice.

"It's...I'm Lillie," She admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "Where am I?"

"You're on Akala Island," Burnet explained. "Do you know how you ended up here?"

"...No," Lillie replied. She was still trying to process everything. She was being chased by her mother's employees and then Nebby did...something. But she was away. She was safe!

"Hey, what's in the bag?" Kitty asked. As if on cue, a small Pokémon jumped out of the bag. It looked like a small ball of smoke. "AWWWWWWW!"

"Nebby!" Lillie snapped. "Come back here!" She attempted to stand up, but her legs were still shaking.

"Here, I'll get it," Emma assured her. Lillie watched in awe as she moved slowly and calmly, yet was still able to catch Nebby with ease. "Uh, if it's not too much to ask, what Pokémon is this?"

"I think it's called Cosmog," Lillie said as she took Nebby back from Emma.

"I've never heard of that Pokémon!" Emma exclaimed. She then shook her head. Now was not the time for her to gush about a possibly unknown Pokémon! Lillie was clearly scared. "Sorry, I get excited about this stuff. I wanna be a professor someday."

"It's fine," Lillie assured her. Her voice wavered quite a bit, but Emma seemed to accept the answer.

"Now then, why don't we all head back to the lab and I'll call your father?" Burnet offered. The three girls nodded. Emma offered Lillie a hand, helping her to her feet and allowing her to support herself on her shoulders. Once Lillie was steady enough, the three of them walked back towards the lab.

"So that's what happened?" Kukui asked. As soon as he got the phone call, he jumped on the first ferry over. Sure, Lillie wasn't his daughter, but she was still a little girl who needed help.

"Yeah, what should we do about this?" Burnet asked her husband.

"Simple!" Kukui declared. "We let her sleep in the loft of my lab! That way, she's got a place to stay and we can study Cosmog!"

"Hmmm…" Burnet rubbed her chin as she tried to think of a better idea. But, as per usual, her husband's strange wisdom won out in the end. "Alright, but let's make sure she's okay with it." In the next room over, Kitty was happily playing with Nebby and Lillie while Emma studied over the video she had taken earlier in the day.

"Hey, Lillie, we need to ask you something," Kukui declared.

"Oh?" Lillie asked.

"We have a place for you to stay, but only if you are okay with it," Burnet offered. "We can also help you study Cosmog."

"Are...are you sure?" Lillie asked. "I don't want to be a bother…"

"You wouldn't be!" Kukui assured her. "As long as you don't cause any trouble for us. Besides, I think Emma and Kitty already like you!"

"Dad, don't say it like that!" Emma chastised, finally pulling her eyes away from her notebook.

Kukui laughed. "Sorry Em!" He then turned back to Lillie. "So, do you want to stay with me?"

"Um...sure," Lillie said. She had a feeling she didn't sound too confident in her answer, but she hoped they could tell she was excited. Thankfully, Kukui just laughed.

"Well, alright then!" He declared. "When I head back tonight, we'll bring you with us!"

"This is so cool!" Kitty gushed. "It will be like a sleepover every night!"

"Wait…" It was then that something important dawned on Lillie. "Where do you guys sleep since I sleep in the loft?"

"Oh don't worry! We have a room!" Kitty assured her. "Although, Emma falls asleep at her desk more often than her bed."

"KITTY!" Emma snapped as she threw her pen at her sister because the only other things she had were her camera and her notebook. Lillie couldn't help but give a small smile. This place was a lot more lively and happy then...she didn't want to think about it.

Alright, next time, we see Emma, Kitty and Hau begin their journey together. See you then!
