North Pole (3rd POV)

Dick's gaze swept across the horizon looking for the spot that his best friend had gone missing. Upon finding it, he moved forwards with determination. He WOULD bring back his former teammate, best friend, his brother.

He could feel something powerful pulling him in as he approached. The speedforce!

Reaching out his hand towards the power he braced himself for anything that could happen. To his surprise and delight, a portal-looking thing appeared in front of his, his hand already inside. He felt around looking for something solid to grab a hold of but found nothing. He reached deeper calling out, "Wally, grab my hand, it's time to come home! Come on Wals! PLEASE!"

"'Wing?", came a small voice. It was so quiet, Dick was shocked to hear Wally's voice so quiet and weak.

"Wally," the relief in his voice was obvious though worry crept through as well, "come on KF, grab my hand."

"Dick, the speedforce it's so beautiful..."

"I'm sure it is Walman but your little vacation is over now. Time to leave, everyone is waiting for you, Wally. You're late and they miss you, time to come back and cheer them up" urgency overcame his voice and he was practically begging at the moment.

Suddenly Dick felt something solid in the portal. Grasping onto it he felt a small smile make its way across his face.

"That's it, Wally! You need to come home and make everyone smile again."

Then there was the pull. The portal's power was increasing! Dick's eyebrows furrowed then he had an idea. Securing his grip on his friend he pulled as much as he could then he spun, swinging the redhead out. However now Dick was falling in. The acrobat didn't seem to mind, a satisfied smile on his face. He had accomplished his mission. Wally was back.

"Take care of them, Wally. Make them smile and keep them happy, in the way I never could," the first protege muttered, falling further into the darkness the portal brought.

And just as he felt the world fade to black, a hand desperately grab his wrist bring him back to reality.

Finally done! Wally's BACK!
