On to the story,
*****BEGIN CHAPTER*****
Captain's log, star date 98875.23. we are finished up our operation at omicron kappa II and are en-route to the resupply fleet led by the U.S.S. Vampire. From what I heard her captain is quite a character but is also willing to put his career or even his life on the line for doing what he believes is right. afterwards we will set course for Sol System to report to command.
(A/N the Vampire is a Miranda Class Frigate that has been heavily modified by her engineering crew allowing her extended range and better protection.)
"Approaching the resupply fleet captain" Lt. Jameson reported
"We are being hailed by the Vampire." Said T'Vrell.
"On Screen" Geltz ordered.
"-peating, this is the U.S.S. Vampire, hailing Starfleet vessel, come in please." Said the captain of the vampire.
"Harrison? Is that you?" Geltz asked.
Holy crap is that is that Geltz I hear? Well, what the heck are you doing out here in the middle of nowhere?" Harrison joked.
"We've been killing Borg drones. How 'bout old buddy?" Replied geltz.
(A/N If you cannot tell by now Geltz and Harrison are good friends from the academy)
Well, I been leading this convoy to Star base sierra. What we didn't expect to see was an excelsior class cruiser. What Brings you here?" Harrison inquired.
Geltz's reply came through a few seconds later, "ah… Slight complication. Four to be exact."
"What? Your tech teams need help in pulling apart some Borg tech?" Harrison Asked.
"It's easier to explain in person. Permission to beam aboard?" Geltz asked.
"Sure. I like having company aboard. Can fill me in on what you been up to. Vampire out." Harrison replied as he closed the channel.
"Flores, have someone from security escort our guests to transporter room 1" Geltz ordered.
"Yes Sir" she replied.
Meanwhile on deck 2 of the crimson tide…
"So, guys let's talk about what we just saw." Said Ruby
"We appear to be on some sort of ship. Most definitely not atlas." Said Wiess.
"These people appear to be fighting some sort of zombie creatures." Said Blake.
"They also appear to have some sort of laser weapons." Said Yang
suddenly the doorbell rang.
"Come in." Said Ruby.
A man in a yellow shirt walked in
"The captain asked me to escort you to the transporter." Said the security officer. "this way please."
"Where are we going." Asked Ruby
"If you look out your window, you'll see your destination." Said the officer.
As the man said that they all looked out the window to see the awesome sight of another ship pulling into view.
The officer continues. "The U.S.S Vampire, she may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts. Now if you'll follow me, we're already late."
In trans porter room one, Geltz was waiting impatiently.
"Where are they?" He asked.
Not two seconds after he asked the security officer walked in with team RWBY in tow.
"Finally. You ready to transport over to the Vampire?" Geltz asked.
"Are you sure this thing is safe?" asked Weiss.
"Sure. We only had one accident. All it did was fuse two people together. Got that fixed a while ago." Geltz stated casually. "Now we have had no accidents so far. Anyway, everyone step up. You're going to meet an old friend of mine."
After some convincing everyone stepped onto the pad.
"ENERGIZE."
A few seconds later,
Everyone rematerialized in the transporter room of the Vampire.
"Permission to come aboard captain?" Geltz asked following protocol.
"Permission granted old friend. Welcome aboard." Said Captain Harrison. "I see you brought some friends. Mind introducing me?"
"When We get to the briefing room, I'll explain everything." Geltz said.
"All right follow me." Harrison said as he led the five people to the turbolift.
On their way to the turbo lift Blake took notice of something.
"This ship seems a lot smaller than the other one." She stated.
"Sure does. Still, it was quite impressive on the outside. I wonder how much of a beating this thing could take." Wondered Yang.
"OHBOYOHBOYIWONDERWHATKINDOFWEAPONSTHEYHAVEHEREANDWHATTHEYCOU-"Rubys rambling was cut short by7 Weiss bonking here on the head. "Ow!" she cried out.
"Enough with the geeking out you oaf. How are we going to get home?" Weiss asked sounding worried.
While RWBY was talking amongst themselves, Harrison turned to Geltz and said, "They seem like a lively bunch, don't they?" Geltz just rolled his eyes.
