Chapter 3: The power trials.
Arriving on the arena platform, Gazu quickly bowed to his opponent "It is a pleasure to meet you Lavender. I am Gazubiro, but you can call me Gazu." Gazu calmly introduced himself, sighing when Lavender spit "I don't care who you are, just shut up and fight." Frowning at Lavender's response, Gazu lifted his sword into the air; it's blade ringing as Gazu readied a battle stance "is he allowed to use that!?" Lavender yelled up to the Grand Priest who in turn looked at the Zeno's "may he?" "It's so cool. So cool!" "yes, it is. Listen, it's singing. That's amazing!" the Grand Priest smiled, happy to see his master's excitement "Lord Zeno has voiced their opinions, it is allowed. Now I should explain this before this match begins. Our first match of this Expo was a simple appetizer to ready you all for what is to come. These next few matches will test your strength against the members of Universe Thirteen. Think of this Expo as a trial by fire. One by one, a member of one of the Universe's present shall be chosen at random to face off against a member of the Thirteenth. I should also state that the mortal level of Thirteenth stands far above any other. Take this as a gift that you have been gifted a chance to prove your power… Now, let the first match of the power trials, Commence!" as the Grand Priest spoke, both warriors looked to the other, waiting for him to make the first move. Everyone watching from above fell completely silent; eager to witness the power of the mysterious; Universe thirteen.
Looking at Berrus, 17 crossed his arms "are they really that strong? They don't look that special, except the big one of course." He wondered, looking at Piccolo "I don't get it, I can sense his power but not the others, is he that strong that his power is able to overshadow theirs?" he asked, shaking his head "quiet, the both of you. They might not look like much, but the Thirteenth is nothing to mock. They might have brought some weaklings to feign their strength. Never underestimate her cunning." Berrus stated, staring at Universe Thirteen's platform as Piccolo, Gohan and 17 shared a cautious glance.
Glaring at Gazu, Lavender charged at him. Smiling when he saw that Gazu had yet to move as he clenched his fist tightly. Gasping when Gazu simply side stepped out of the way. Growling, he followed up his failed attack with a mighty jump. Following Lavenders movements, Gazu changed position and raised his elbow to counter his attempt at an axe kick. Grabbing Lavender's right leg, Gazu jumped forward, using the force from his jump to slam the wolf man's face into the arena.
As Lavender rose, rubbing his snout, Gazu smiled "never underestimate your opponent." He ordered, waving his sword through the air, a soft hum carrying from it. Hearing Gazu's condescending tone, Lavender growled and charged at him once more. Taking a deep breath, Gazu readied his blade, prepared to counter any attack.
Watching the fight, Shougen laughed "see, what did I tell you? Nothing to worry about." he bragged, watching as Gazu perfectly blocked all of Lavender's attacks, countering when he had a chance.
Looking down at the battle, Vegeta shook his head "your brother's toying with him. Why?" he asked, glaring up at Shougen "Gazu's a very cautious fighter. He's learning his opponent's footwork and pattern of attack's. Only when he's one hundred percent positive his attack will work, will he attack." Ruby explained, stepping next to Goku.
Opening his mouth to speak, Goku quickly changed his attention back to the battle when Lavender cried out in pain as the hilt of Gazu's sword slammed heavily into his snout "now you've made me mad!" Lavender yelled. Blowing on his hands, a deep, purple mist surrounding his tightly clenched fists, a manic laugh escaping his lungs as he charged at Gazu once more.
Seeing this, Goku pointed down at him "that's what I was taking about. That poison can blind you, and it really hurts." Goku warned, raising an eyebrow when the members of Universe thirteen laughed at him.
Gazu's movements turned into that of an intense dance as Lavender tried in vain to strike him. Smiling, Lavender quickly used one of his fists to strike Gazu's blade, quickly using the other to strike him in the eyes before he had a chance to block. His face taking on a purple tint as Lavender laughed "there is definitely some power in those blows. But now, it's my turn." Gazu stated, throwing his sword at Lavender who quickly ducked under it "what the!? He was aiming for my head!" Lavender yelled, pointing up at the Grand Priest.
Using this as a distraction, Gazu ran towards him "Lavender! Pay attention!" Roh yelled, shaking his fist at him. Gasping, Lavender flinched when Gazu closed in on him, not able to react fast enough to block Gazu's punches as he began pounding him with swift yet powerful blows, slowly pushing him towards the edge of the ring "how is the poison not working on him?" Goku asked, pouting when he only received laughter from the Universe thirteen fighters as an answer.
Gazu continued to strike Lavender until one punch to a tender part of his belly caused him to flinch in pain. This moment gave Gazu the chance he needed to grab his arm, throwing Lavender over his shoulder and out of the ring "contender Gazubiro; of the thirteenth is victorious." The Grand Priest announced, smiling as he stared down at the arena.
Hearing the Grand Priest's announcement, Gazu placed his hand on the Katana that was strapped to his side, smiling when he felt that it was still there. Lifting his head into the air he whistled. Everybody gasping in awe when his sword began to emit a high pitched ringing.
The moment he picked it up, he was promptly teleported back to the platform "are you okay, your not hurt are you?" Ruby asked, brushing his hair away from his face to inspect where Lavender's attack had impacted him.
Looking at Gazu's newly revealed face, Vegeta's eyes shot open "Kakarot look, he's wearing a blind fold." Vegeta gasped, pointing at Gazu as Goku slapped him on the back, laughing "you fought him while blindfolded? Wow! You guys are no joke. Is that some kind of intense training?" Goku asked, scratching his chin "no wonder it didn't affect him." Vegeta mumbled, crossing his arms as he continued to stare at Gazu; wondering how he was able to fight so masterfully while blindfolded." "the next match shall consist of Universe thirteen's; Tinkamenia, and Universe Six's Maggeta." Hearing the Grand Priest's announcement, Tink leapt from Shougen's shoulders "alright, let's do this!" she cheered, slapping her face in excitement "keep it simple, don't overdo it." Shougen ordered, crossing his arms sternly "don't worry dad, I got this." She mocked as she vanished.
Arriving on the arena stage, Tink's eyes grew large the second she saw her opponent "wow, your huge. You might be even bigger than Shougen." She stated, looking Maggeta up and down "clankity clankity whir." He responded, looking down at her "wait, can you not speak our language?" Tink asked, tilting her head "Clickety clang." Maggeta responded, shaking his head "no one understands you, do they?" she asked, crossing her arms "Clankity whir." He replied, nodding "don't you worry about that, you don't need to speak the same language to get along." Tink explained, scratching her head.
Looking up at Shougen, Vegeta and Goku scratched their heads in confusion "can she understand him?" Vegeta asked, watching as they seemingly held a conversation "I stopped trying to understand Tink years ago. Nothing about her makes any amount of sense. If you think this is weird, you should see the stuff she hides in her shirt." Shougen replied, shaking his head.
Realizing they weren't going to get a better answer, they both shrugged their shoulders before turning their attention back to the arena.
Snapping her fingers, Tink giggled "here, I know a language that everyone understands!" Tink cheered, running over to him "up top!" she cried, raising her hand into the air "clang?" Maggeta asked as he touched her hand "that's it! Down low!" she cried, lowering her hand to her knees. Crouching down, Maggeta once again touched her hand "yeah, now slam it!" she roared, pushing her fist towards him, squealing with delight when he touched his hand to her fist "clickety clank?" he asked, as Tink smiled "now… Whoosh!" she cheered, pulling her fist back, wiggling her fingers wildly "whoosh!" Maggeta followed, causing Tink to laugh "you got it big guy, that's called a friend shake." Looking down at his hand, steam began to billow from the pipe on his head "clank whir?" he asked, causing Tink to raise an eyebrow "of course were friends, silly. why else would I have taught you the friend shake? Duh." She replied, laughing when he hugged her; whirs and whooshes escaping him in his happiness "alright big guy, I think we better put on a show for everyone." Tink stated, smiling when Maggeta released he, hunching over sadly "don't worry, it's just for fun. We're still friends." She stated, walking back to her side of the arena.
Looking down at them, the Grand Priest smiled "if both contestants are ready, let the third match… Commence!" As the Grand Priest spoke, Tink charged at Maggeta.
Reaching Maggeta, Tink leapt into the air, kicking the metal man in the face, smiling when it did nothing. A nervous chuckle escaping her when Maggeta grabbed her leg, throwing her away "clank chug." He stated, stomping his foot "no way, I want you to go all out. Don't worry, I can take it. I've beaten Reece and Shougen before." She stated, running at him again.
Looking up at Shougen, Vegeta rose an eyebrow "she's beaten you before?" he asked, smirking when Shougen sighed "yes, almost all of us have lost to Tink before. She's even beat Zagraeus once." Shougen admitted, shaking his head "that girl does not obey the laws of natural physics." Ruby agreed, shrugging her shoulders "wait, who's Reece? Is he strong?" Goku asked, looking up at Shougen "he was. We met on Earth and he came back to Vitania with us years ago, he's helped win more wars than I can count. But after the Sins, and Yokk'Karosh, he tapped out." Shougen explained, crossing his arms "the sins?" Goku and Vegeta both asked, sharing a cautious glance "yes, we once fought the physical manifestations of the seven deadly sins. The sin of Greed ate both of his arms. After that, he lost his right leg. He then lost his left eye during our war against Yokk'Karosh. Eventually he had to step down from the front lines." Gazu explained, looking back at them.
Sharing a look of shock, Goku and Vegeta shook their heads before quickly turning their attention to the battle below when Tink yelled in fright.
Looking at the ground infront of her, she froze. Seeing a giant lava puddle melting through the platform inches infront of her, jumping when more lava landed next to her "you can spit lava?" Tink asked, scratching her nose "clank whir!" Magetta stated, lifting his arms into the air "that's cool, but I have some surprises of my own." She announced, pulling an entire grenade belt from her cleavage, leaving everyone stunned "wow, that's so amazing!" "yes, but how did she hide them in there?" "I don't know, she must be magic." The Zeno's stated, in complete awe of Tink "what did I tell you?" Shougen asked, shrugging his shoulders as he shook his head depressingly.
Throwing them at Magetta, Tink laughed as explosions rocked the stage, clouding Magetta from view. Charging into the plume of smoke, she cried out when she was promptly thrown back out. Punching the ground when Magetta stomped out from the smoke "dang it! I thought that would work. Well, I can't let Shougen down so… Time to bring out the big guns!" she announced, pulling a massive rocket launcher from her cleavage, leaving everyone; the Grand Priest and Zeno's included, completely dumbfounded. The realm falling eerily quiet as Shougen shook his head, rubbing his nose "you know the sad part? That's not the weirdest thing I've seen her pull from there." Shougen admitted "or the biggest." Fleur agreed, laughing at Goku and Vegeta; who's mouths had fallen wide open in shock.
Falling to one knee, Tink began to laugh maniacally "say goodbye!" she roared, firing a rocket at Magetta, who crossed his arms seconds before impact, the entire arena shaking as a giant plume of smoke expanded "that was very strange." "yes, but so cool." "where does she keep those things?" "I don't know. But it is cool." The Zeno's cheered, waving at Tink.
Looking up at them, she smiled before waving back "what the hell is she?" Vegeta asked, shaking his head "don't." Shougen simply warned, shaking his head in response "you don't want to go there, believe us." Ruby agreed, nodding her head as Gazu shrugged his shoulders.
Craning her neck, Tink kicked the ground "dang, what are you made of?" she asked as Magetta walked through the smoke once more; completely unharmed "clankity whir, whoosh." He explained, touching his chest "really? That's cool, but can you handle my cro-" "dammit Tink just end this already!" Shougen roared, cutting her off mid sentence "fine, whatever you say boss." She agreed, her hands grasping her skirt tightly. Sighing, she slapped her face again before charging at Magetta.
Reaching him, she punched one of the small windows on his chest, gulping when he grabbed her around the waist, turning her upside down "good thing I always wear my shorts. Hahaha." She joked as her skirt fell "end this Magetta, finish this before she gets any more ideas!" Champa roared, laughing when Magetta turned around, walking towards the edge of the arena; carrying Tink to elimination.
Struggling to free herself, Tink began to kick her legs wildly "what's the big deal!? I thought we were friends. Is this really how you want to win you rust bucket?" Tink asked, shrieking when Magetta swiftly dropped her.
Rubbing her head, she looked up to find Magetta shaking, before quickly curling into a ball, Inches from the edge "uh, are you okay?" she asked, poking him, flinching in surprise when he rolled off the platform "Contestant Tinkamenia-" "just Tink please!" Tink cried, looking up at the Grand Priest.
Nodding, he cleared his throat "as you wish. Contender Tink of the thirteenth is victorious!" he announced, as they vanished.
Arriving on the platform, Tink scratched her head, being placed back on Shougen's shoulders; where she had been before her match "what the heck just happened?" she asked, looking down at Shougen "Magetta's a metal man, their extremely durable and strong but if you insult them, they loose the will to fight." Vegeta explained, crossing his arms "I guess when you called him a rust bucket, you hurt his feelings." Goku agreed, shrugging his shoulders.
Looking over at Universe six's platform, Tink sighed, seeing Magetta curled into a ball as Botamo rubbed his back "hey, Goku? Can you bring me over to him?" She asked, leaping off of Shougen's shoulders "I want to apologize." She explained, walking over to him "sure, just take my hand." Goku replied, holding out his hand to her. Taking it, Goku placed his fingers to his head and vanished.
Arriving on Universe six's platform, Champa and the other Universe six fighters jumped "Goku? What are you here for?" Vados asked, crossing her legs "I wanted to come over here." Tink stated, stepping out from behind him. Seeing her, Champa flinched "I wanted to apologize." She explained, walking towards Magetta "heya Cabba, how's it going." Goku asked, looking around "where's Caulifla?" he asked, scratching her head "she's away on a mission, Kale came in her place." He explained, pointing at Kale who was sitting very close to Vados, waving at him "wait, I thought Caulifla didn't work with your peace keeping group." Goku stated rubbing his head "she didn't before, but after the tournament her gang began to assist us as unofficial members." Cabba explained "these Universe thirteen fighters are something else, we've only seen two of them fight so far and they are exceptional." Hit stated, walking up to Goku, his hands in his pockets "they sure are and get this, Shougen told me about another guy named Zagraeus; they all say that he's the strongest fighter in their Universe, they even say he's the strongest ever. How exciting is that?" he asked.
Overhearing this, Champa stood "did they say anything else about him, Goku?" he asked, scratching the inside of his ear "no, besides that he looks like me and Vegeta." Shaking her head, Vados tapped Champa with her staff "it is in our best interests to not interfere with the matters of another Universe. You know what happened the last time a God of Destruction did that, don't you my lord?" she asked, causing Champa to gulp nervously "you're right, but you know something, don't you?" he asked, sitting next to her, growling when she refused to answer.
Reaching Magetta, Tink sighed "sorry about what I said. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings." She stated, crouching next to him "I didn't mean it. Are we still friends?" she asked, craning her neck to see his face "chugga clank?" he asked, looking up at her "of course, though you deserved to win that fight, you're way stronger than me." She stated, raising her hand into the air. Rising to his feet, Magetta and Tink preformed their handshake just as they had done before their fight.
Smiling, Tink looked back at Goku "we should go back before Shougen starts yelling at me." She stated, taking his hand "alright, see ya guys." Goku stated, waving at the Universe six fighter's before vanishing once again.
The moment they arrived back, Tink climbed onto Shougen's shoulders "the next match shall consist of Universe thirteen's; Fleur and Universe four's; Majora." "Be careful." Shougen ordered as Fleur inspected her bow "you don't have to worry so much, I can handle myself you know." She replied, patting his arm lovingly as she vanished with a loving smile.
Arriving on the arena stage, Fleur quickly knocked an arrow "before we begin, I would like to clear something up." Majora stated, pointing his snout to the sky "about what?" Fleur asked, tilting her head "although I am blind, I insist that you pull no punches." He explained, lowering his head to look at her "that's all? You don't have to worry about that, I'm well aware that with your lack of sight, your other senses like smell must be heightened." Fleur replied, smiling "you would be correct, you will find that my sense of smell is un-matched by any." He stated, just as the grand Priest rose his hand into the air "let the fourth match. Commence!" he ordered, spurring Fleur to fire an arrow at Majora's head.
Spinning around the arrow, Majora laughed "I see, it was quite foolish to ask you not to pull your punches when you are a ranged fighter." Majora stated, chuckling "let us battle. Let us prove to each other; our power." He stated, running toward her, expertly dodging every arrow.
Reaching her, he quickly began to strike her with powerful kicks as she masterfully ducked and dodged them. Slowly, Fleur began to back peddle toward the edge of the ring. Smiling, Majora leapt into the air, spinning as he descended toward her.
Squinting, Fleur grabbed an arrow, shooting it upward. Gritting his teeth when it scraped against his right ear, Majora began to ark his decent, missing her completely "you underestimated me, your a lot less mobile while in the air." She stated, brushing her hair away from her eyes "I apologize, to be honest; I did not expect much of a fight from one that prefers to stay away from frontline combat." He explained, sniffing the air.
Glaring at him, Fleur shook her head angrily "how dare you, just because I use a bow doesn't mean I'm not on the frontlines! I've fought in every war that Vitania has faced! You don't know me!" she roared, grabbing three arrows from her quiver before quickly firing them at Majora.
Looking down at the fight, Goku tilted his head "you know, I only just met her but I didn't think she had it in her to get mad." He stated, looking up at Shougen "you haven't seen anything." Shougen agreed, crossing his arms, fear in his eye. Looking back at Vegeta, he remembered that both Chi-Chi and Bulma were exactly like that; nice and lovable but at the same time, commanding and terrifying. Shaking his head, he turned back to the fight.
Kicking the arrows out of the sky, Majora laughed "is that all?" he asked, running at her "nope." She replied, firing another arrow at him, a bright purple glow covering the arrows head.
Majora quickly leapt to the side to dodge the arrow. Gasping when it exploded, releasing a foul stench into the air, a purple cloud covering them from sight "what is that!?" he yelled, covering his nose "your nose is your greatest asset but at the same time it's your worst enemy. I knew that you would dodge my arrow, so I used one of Tink's ideas; an arrow lined with Widdlewheat. If you would've caught it, this wouldn't have happened." she stated as Majora flew from the cloud, landing outside of the ring.
Waving his hand, the Grand Priest swept the cloud of gas away; revealing Fleur standing triumphantly, now wielding an axe that was at least three times larger than her "contender Fleur of the thirteenth is victorious." He stated as they vanished.
Arriving on the platform, Goku marveled at Fleur's weapon "were did you get that?" he asked, flinching and gasping when she held it out to him, motioning for him to take it.
Taking it in his hands, he cried out when Fleur released it, falling to the ground under the massive weight of the weapon "how do you lift this thing?" he asked, straining to lift it. Gritting his teeth when Fleur giggled as she removed nose plugs from her nostrils "oh for the love of, stop fooling around Kakarot." Vegeta ordered, crossing his arms sternly "I'm not joking, this thing is heavy." He replied, still trying to pull it from the ground "if this is a joke I'll kill you." Vegeta spat, coming next to him, placing his hands next to Goku's on the handle.
Pulling, his eyes shot open when it refused to move "what the hell!?" He gasped, straining "right? Lets try super Saiyan." Goku stated, smiling when Vegeta nodded.
Both of them powered up, their hair turning gold, leaving the members of Universe thirteen shocked "on three, ready?" Vegeta asked, looking at Goku "Right. One, two." "three!" Vegeta yelled as they both began to pull, their teeth grit tightly as their veins popped, smiling when they lifted it from the ground "this thing is heavy, how do you use it?" Goku asked, both Saiyan's falling silent in shock when Fleur took it from them, scaring the super Saiyan out of them "honestly, I didn't think it was that heavy." She admitted, swiping it through the air with one hand. Both Saiyan's watching in shock when it snapped together to form her bow, shaking their heads in awe of her strength.
Regaining his composure, Vegeta crossed his arms "wait, what is Widdlewheat?" he asked, looking up at Tink when she laughed "it's a herb that's found deep within the Navorfrè forest, when it is handled too roughly it releases a foul odor that is at least a hundred times worse than a skunks spray." Gazu explained, as Tink leapt from Shougen's shoulders "here, squeeze this." She stated, handing a small, brown packet to him. Looking at it, his eye's narrowed when everyone, including Goku huddled in a corner.
Shaking his head, he squeezed the packet, gasping and coughing when a horrid stench filled his nostrils "this is horrible, it's worse than Kakarot's boots!" he gasped, grasping his nose "what? Come on, my boots aren't that bad." Goku mumbled, crossing his arms "here, the only remedy for Widdlewheat is the extract from a Duragree egg, you have to pour it into your nose; it stings a lot but at least the smell is gone!" Tink explained, rolling a small blue bottle to him, the yellow liquid within; bubbling.
Grabbing the bottle, Vegeta poured it into his nostrils without question. Dropping to his knees as he roared in pain as the egg worked it's magic.
Letting go of his nose, Vegeta took a deep breath "that was, without question… The worst experience of my life… And I've died." He explained, shaking his head as he tried to catch his breath.
Gasping, Fleur ran up to Goku "oh my goodness I completely forgot, could you take this to Majora, he must be suffering over there." She stated, handing Goku another small bottle "no problem, be right back." He stated using instant transmission "why do you have to pour that egg in your nose?" Vegeta asked, standing up "the smell of Widdlewheat is in your nose, what's drinking the Duragree egg gonna do?" Tink asked, looking at him, dumbfounded "the Widdlewheat spores attach themselves to the inner canals of your nostrils, only the toxins of the Duragree egg can force them to release." Gazu explained just as Goku appeared once more, accompanied by the anguished cries of Majora.
When his cries faded, Fleur sighed; happy that he would no longer have to suffer. When everything finally quieted down, the Grand Priest cleared his throat "the next match shall consist of Universe thirteen's; Ruby and Universe eleven's; Toppo." Ruffling her hair, Gazu smiled "don't hurt him." Smiling, she nodded as she vanished.
Arriving on the arena stage, Ruby quickly curtsied to Toppo "it is a pleasure to meet you, Sir. Toppo." Ruby's regal voice caused Toppo to blush. Chuckling, he followed her lead and bowed "please, the pleasure is all mine. Though I hope you do not pull any punches for this old mans sake." Hearing his kind voice, Ruby smiled "of course. As long as you promise to view me as you would a villainous foe. Please, feel free to use your full strength." Hearing her statement, Toppo laughed heartily "of course."
Sitting on the edge of Universe thirteen's platform, Goku dangled his feet over the side "Top's one tough guy. It took everything Vegeta had to beat him last time." Nodding, Gazu took a deep breath "he has power, I can feel it. But don't underestimate my wife either, she will surprise you. Looks can be deceiving you know. " Goku and Vegeta glanced at each other at Gazu's words but shrugged their shoulders "let the second match. Commence!" Hearing the Grand Priest's announcement, Ruby quickly charged at Toppo, using her tail to slap him across the face, gritting her teeth when Toppo laughed. Grabbing her tail, he began to swing her in circles before throwing her towards the edge.
Before landing outside of the ring, she unfurled her wings, using them to boost back onto the platform "hey! She's clearly cheating. She cant do that, can she?" Berrus angrily yelled up at the Grand Priest, flinching when he glared down at him "wow there cool." "yes, there so pretty. So pretty." Smiling at the Zeno's words, the Grand Priest swiftly rose his arms into the air "Lord Zeno has spoken, they are allowed. Besides, they are a part of her body. Would it truly be fair to disqualify someone for using their genetic assets to their advantage?" he asked, smiling when Berrus fell silent.
Hearing the Grand Priest's words, Ruby flew high into the air before summersaulting. Attempting to dive bomb Toppo; building up tremendous speed by quickly turning in circles. Much to her surprise, Toppo did not attempt to dodge. Instead, he stood his ground, spreading his arms wide in an attempt to catch her.
Watching the fight, Belmond began to laugh "a simple trick like that won't work on Toppo. He is next in line to become the God of Destruction of our Universe. If you want to defeat him you'll have to try harder than that, right Jiren?" Jiren simply continued to stare at Ruby, silent and unblinking as Belmond laughed "shut it Belmond! Pay attention." Jiren snapped at him. Flinching, he nodded. Returning his attention to the fight below, just as Toppo caught Ruby, wrapping his giant hands around her petit body.
Ruby's screams echoed throughout the entire realm as Toppo began to squeeze her with so much force he began to crush her "what the hell is he doing!? Is killing allowed!?" Shougen asked, yelling at the Grand Priest "it is not. If contender Toppo murders contender Ruby. Either on purpose, or by mistake. She will be revived and he will be disqualified." Shougen clenched his fists tightly, now shaking with rage as they watched "so what? We've just got to watch as every bone in her body is crushed, one by one? Not today, I'll finish this myself." Continuing to hold onto Ruby's massive neck, Toppo chuckled "you are truly amazing; lady Ruby. I admit defeat." Toppo honorably admitted as Ruby laughed, whipping her head upward, she sent Toppo towards Universe eleven's platform where Jiren promptly caught him "you fought well Toppo." Jiren reassured his friend, helping him to his feet "contender Ruby; of the thirteenth is victorious." Hearing the Grand Priest's words, Ruby roared once more in excitement, causing everyone to cover their ears.
