Walking into the dorms of her class, Yuki introduced herself and bowed before them apologizing for missing the first week of class. The girls excited to have another girl in the class gave her a warm welcome, Momo offering to make her a cup of tea. After chatting with the girls and a few of the boys for a bit she excused herself to get her room set up. She thought she was the only one on the right side of the second floor, but as she paused in front of the door to the room closest to the stairs, she heard movement inside the room at the end of the hall. Thinking about it for a moment she decided against knocking to see who it was and instead went to her own, the two rooms between them standing empty.

After getting her room set up Yuki lay draped on the railing of her balcony, her head hanging off and nose buried in the book she held upside down, her other arm hanging loosely over her head. Legs crossed she stretched one foot into the air, bouncing off her knee, her tail curling up before hanging loosely and curling again with a flick. Feeling so relaxed, the cool spring breeze so soothing on her fur and skin, she didn't realize when she started to purr.

A few rooms down she heard the balcony door sliding open, someone stepping out, let out a weary sigh, piquing her curiosity. Lifting her book, she locked her mismatched eyes with dark purple that looked a bit too overtired. Rolling over without taking her eyes off him, she dropped her book onto her balcony, balancing herself with ease she walked along the railings until she reached his. Sitting on the railing she tilted her head to the side, crossing her legs, the cat-like toes on her feet flexing for a moment, flashing her claws before they slid back in.

"Not what you expected?" She asked watching him as he looked at the different cat-like features on her body. Her body was mostly human, with her toe and fingertips slightly larger than average to accommodate for her retractable claws. Her cat ears not placed at the top of her head like she had seen in countless art, but on the side of her head where anyone else would have their ears. "Everyone seems to think that a cat human hybrid will be so cute, they seem to forget that cats are natures perfect hunting machine. But I could be a bit bias with that last part." She laughed to herself.

"What are you doing?" Shinso sighed heavily leaning back against the railing opposite of the one she sat on.

"Saying hello."

"Why?"

"Why not?" she sang, the corners of his lips gave a little tug, but his face remained as fatigued as ever. "Are you mad at me too? Aizawa is making me write so many apology letters." She whined leaning backwards into the open air, arching her back she controlled her body as she leaned, one hand still on the railing the other pressed to her head in her display of a dramatic flop. Stretching her hand out she draped herself between Shinso's balcony and the one next to it, her knees holding her in place on his and her shoulders on the other.

She was in full control of her body, and had no fear of falling, but to Shinso it looked like she was about to plummet headfirst. His body only flinched to rush forward to catch her when he saw that she had a smirk on her lips. "Did the doctors run follow up test before you left?" She asked stretching her arms above her head. When he didn't answer she quickly pulled herself upright, slid off the railing, and crossed the balcony to him. Already leaning against the railing, he couldn't back up to escape, her eyes locked on his neck she put both her hands on his chest, sliding them up she pulled the collar of his shirt down and pushed lightly on his chin. Moving her face closer she examined the white mark that looked almost like a tattoo of what was once a scar.

"Do you have any concept of personal space?" he growled, his grip on the railing tightening, her body was pressed too closely to him.

"Answer me and I'll answer you." She argued, her fingertips trailing lightly against his skin tracing the horizontal scar.

"Yes." He grunted out, unsatisfied with the answer she released his chin and fixed him with an annoyed look. "They said it's like it never happened, no scaring. The only thing remaining is the mark."

"Sorry about that, even when I heal the scars the marks are always there."

"Personal space." He demanded. Purring she stepped away from him with a smile.

"Now to answer your question," she started a light blush coloring her cheeks, "my feline instincts can be hard to suppress sometimes." She explained waving her hand though the air, the tip of her tail curling and her ears flattening out to the sides.

"Explain."

"You know how cats aren't really owned?" he gave a short nod. "They tend to pick their owners. They pick the people they like, and the people they don't like. Well, my breed is most closely related to the Khao Manee, and they tend to be devoted to their owners." The more she explained the more he became lost and confused, was she saying that she somehow picked him to be, what? There was no way she was picking him to be some sort of owner like what she was talking about.

"I don't understand." He admitted.

"I can see that this is difficult to explain." She laughed. "I'm not trying to say you're like some sort of owner or anything. But it's how cats pick their people; they feel a pull towards them. What I am trying to say is that I feel a pull towards you, I feel the need to be your friend."

"I'm not here to make friends. I'm here to become a hero." He said flatly.

"Become a hero?" she puzzled, tilting her head to the side. "Don't you remember, you risked your life to save mine. You're already a hero." He didn't say anything, he just watched her jump back onto the railing and walk back to her room. "You're my hero at least." She sang out with a smile.
