Chapter 3 - About Experiences ...

Gon has received a new companion, her name is Kaori. Together they now want to go on a ship to think about a way how Gon can get his Nen back.

~ on the ship ... ~

The blue-haired girl checked her shoulder bag, but it was all still there. She sighed. 'Nothing was stolen from me ... Then she noticed Gon, who was staring out to sea.

"Say ... .Gon?"

He turned to her. "Yes?" He asked politely.

"Excuse the direct question… .but it seems to me that you already have some kind of adventure or rather a journey behind you,… don't you?"

"Yes. Exactly! Not that long ago, I was still looking for my father. "He smiled.

She thought for a moment. "Please ... tell me a little bit about your adventurers ..." She looked at the floor. "I haven't been on the road long ... that's why I would like to hear someone who has already done a lot ... .. is that okay with you?"

"Sure!" He sat down next to her. "Where should I start?"

"Well ..." She thought for a moment. "How did it come about ... exactly ... how did your journey start?" She smiled.

"My journey ... the first one was probably that I wanted to be a hunter just like my father."

"Oh? That means you are a real hunter? "

"Yes! Look. "He reached into his pocket and showed Kaori his hunter license.

"Unbelievable ... the exam is supposed to be incredibly difficult ..." she muttered. "You're an extraordinary person… .Gon." She blushed.

He scratched his head at the compliment. "Hehe ... thanks!" Then he put his license back in his pocket. "What do you think of Hunter? Do you want to become one too? "

"... a hunter? I? ….I do not know. I'm not that strong… "She muttered. '… Even if I can master Nen… .it's not something I'm proud of…. Then she gave Gon a short smile.

"I am considering it. But, please go on, I will try not to interrupt you anymore. "

"Gladly!" He beamed.

Gon told Kaori about his first meeting on the ship with Leorio and Kurapika, who are among his best friends. What he went through before they even got the real exam.

During the first phase he met his best friend Killua.

"Killua ... is that best friend you mentioned recently, isn't she?" Kaori asked curiously.

"Yes. I come from Whale Island, unfortunately hardly anyone my age lives there, so Killua was the first real friend who was my age. "Gon said.

"I see ..." She nodded. "I hardly know anyone my age either ..." She murmurs, barely audible.

During the whole trip on the sea, Gon Kaori talked excitedly about all his experiences. Including the Hunter test, Trick Tower, Zevil Island and his own stubbornness on the very last test.

From Kukuroo Mountain, where Killua's assassin family lives, that Gon went there to save a special friend. Where they later separated from Leorio and Kurapika, only to see each other again on September 1st.

From the first experience or meeting with Nen at the sky arena. And very important: Gons Punch against Hisoka! What really amazed Kaori that Gon wasn't afraid to fight against such a strange clown….

He told him about the experiences in Yorknew City, the encounter with the Phantom Troupe….

"You were really captured twice by the Phantom Troupe?" Kaori asked astonished. "It's supposed to be very dangerous, isn't it?"

"Yes ... but as you can see ... I'm fine!" He said optimistically.

"… .. tell on."

Then Gon and Killua went on an adventure in a video game called Greed Island, created by Ging and friends. How they met Bisky, who trained them. ... and of course how you successfully played through the game ... .. after some ... complications ... ^^

Then things get serious… .Gon meets Kite again, Ging's student. To cut a long story short ... after an encounter with a Chimera Ant ... Kite dies. And the feeling of revenge conquers Gon, whereby he sacrifices his Nen in order to gain a tremendous power.

"I see ..." Kaori looks compassionate. "So that's what you mean ... got it back with Nen. ... so that's how it happened. "

He nods. "Yes, but through Killua and my other friends I was able to get well again ... and ..." he smiled broadly. "... I am separated from Killua for the time being ... but we write a lot ... and see each other again sometime!" After a short pause he continued, "I was finally able to meet Ging!"

"That achieved your goal, didn't it?" She asked eagerly.

"Yes. We had a real conversation… "He looked her in the eye. "There is something I will not and will not forget! Something important that Ging told me ... "

"What is it?"

"You should enjoy the little detours. To the fullest. Because that's where you'll find the things more important than what you want."

Kaori's green eyes shone. "A great sentence ..." She smiled.

"Yes, I agree! That means when I get my Nen back as it was before, I have already received or found something much more important! "He grinned broadly.

'Wow… .your bright and optimistic way… ..Gon… ..' Kaori looked at the boy full of fascination. 'I admire you for that ...'

"Everything, okay?" He looked worriedly at the blue-haired girl.

She blushed. "Yes I'm fine. I'm already looking forward to our journey together…. "She speaks softly. "My ... first journey ..."

Soon the ship will dock ...

Gon and Kaori will soon meet new people ... ..in the hope that Gons Nen will be the way it used to be ... (Jajanken!) ^^

But ... will Gon be able to learn more about Kaori soon ...? Will she soon show him so much trust that she will reveal something about herself?
