A/N: Alright here's chapter 2! I've already read the reviews and I see that you guys are interested to see where the rest of the story heads. Well get ready to find out in this next chapter!
Also, a guest answered this already but to Matt, Danny is actually 14 too. I never knew his exact age but I always assumed he was in his early teens when I first watched the show.
With that, here's the next chapter!
Danny was sent flying. Although it wasn't a blow that hurt, it was enough to allow Penelope to escape to who knows where…. in well.. who knows where.
But right now, he had to worry about what, or in this case who was in front of him. He then realized that he was kissing an Afro-Latin girl.
They were both on the ground but he got up off of her, with both blushing.
"Sorry about that, it was an honest accident." Danny said, still blushing.
"It's okay. No big deal." Luz said, blushing as well.
It was at the dismay of Amity and Sam, who were both frowning and had their arms folded.
Sam and Tucker noticed this as they were running after Danny. They ran to him, thinking there was a fight happening, and Danny got the upper hand. But they couldn't be anymore wrong. Sam saw Danny kissing a girl for a couple of seconds and had her mouth open the whole time until Danny got up and realized what happened.
"Wait." Luz said noticing the insignia on the teen boy.
"Tu eres Danny Fantasma! Oh… my… gosh!" Luz said about to squeal.
"You're like… a superhero!" Luz said.
Luz screams in her head. I just kissed a superhero! Even if it was an accident. She breathes out loud. Okay. Keep it together Luz.
"I wouldn't exactly call myself a superhero…" Danny said, putting his hand to back of his head, a little flattered that someone knows who he is.
"But you are. You're the ghost who catches other ghosts! Like… the Ghostbusters!" Luz said.
"Would you ever team up with those guys?" Luz added.
"The guys with all the movies? Probably not. Ghost hunters and I don't exactly have the best relationship where I'm from." Danny said.
"Just who are you anyway?" Amity said, still in the same position that she was in before.
"I'd think it help if we knew who you were as well." Sam said, in the same expression as Amity.
"Danny. Danny Phantom." Danny said, introducing himself to everyone. Willow, Gus, Luz, Eda and Lilith all readily introduced themselves.
"These are my friends, Sam and Tucker. And my sister Jazz." Danny said, introducing them.
"What's up guys?" Tucker said.
"Hey! Forgive my brother. He's almost never great with first impressions." Jazz joked.
Sam and Amity were silent.
"I think she's a little shy. This is Amity. Say, hi Amity." Luz said, whispering the last part to Amity.
"Hi." Amity said, forcing it. She was in another direction as if she didn't want to be there anymore.
"Come on Sam, don't be rude, introduce yourself." Danny said.
"I think I'll pass." Sam said, sharing the same expression with Amity.
"OK…." Danny said. I'll figure out what's going on with her later.
"Something wrong Amity?" Gus asked, noticing this.
"Yeah. How do we know you're who you Luz says you are? If you're a ghost, how come Luz was able to touch you?" Amity said in a skeptical tone.
"Well, I'm not exactly a full ghost. I'm half ghost, half human." Danny answered.
"Interesting." Willow said.
"Cool! A half-human and a half-ghost? Sounds like something only magic could create." Gus said.
"Namely, coven magic. I don't think you're who you say you are." Amity said in a condescending tone.
"Amity, what are you getting at here?" Luz asked.
"I'm thinking that these three were sent by the emperor as an illusion to catch you, Eda and Lilith." Amity said.
"If you're talking about that creepy guy back at that place with the weird owl portal we definitely don't know who he was." Tucker said.
"A likely story." Amity said, taking a more aggressive stance now.
"Amity, what are you doing?" Luz asked, worried now. She had a feeling where this was headed.
"Tucker, I don't think that helped." Sam said. The aqua-marine haired girl's questioning and her tone of those questions got here attention. She was starting to get worried.
"Think about it. These three just show up out of nowhere. No portals or anything. If they're from the human world, how exactly would they get here if the only way back to the human world is destroyed?" Amity asked.
"It does sound too good to be true kid." Eda admitted.
"If you're talking about Earth, that's where we came from! We really did!" Danny said.
"Why did you come here then?" Amity asked.
"It was an accident. I was fighting this ghost when we went in an old cabin and it sent us here!" Danny answered.
"Where's this ghost now?" Amity asked.
"I was fighting here before all of this happened. We got sent here and we were in this emperor's lair, I guess and we escaped. I knew the guy was bad news, so I got me and my friends out of there." Danny said.
"Forgive me if I don't believe you! No one can just waltz in and out of the emperor's lair that easy. Not with all of his coven." Amity said.
"Are you calling Danny a liar?" Sam and Jazz asked. Danny may have been a lot of things, but he is not a liar.
"As a matter of fact I am!" Amity said.
The two were walking to confront each other.
"Hey, hey ladies! No need to fight!" Tucker said, putting his hands out in between the two.
"Move, Tucker!" Sam said.
"Listen, there's a ghost running loose here. Every second we waste is a second she could use to get stronger!" Danny said, trying to squash any conflict before it starts.
"He's right you two. We're all good friends here! How about we all just sit down and talk this out!" Luz said.
Luz agreeing with this 'Danny Phantom' was the last straw.
"The time for talking has passed Luz!" Amity said before conjuring 4 abominations from the ground.
"Abominations! Rise!" Amity cried.
"Hey, hey kid! I know his story sounds hard to believe but there has to be another way to handle this! Take it from me. I've seen some crazy stuff." Eda said.
"My sister is known for rushing into things sometimes. If she's telling you to wait, I think you should listen." Lilith said.
"Abominations attack!" She continued.
"I don't have time for this!" Danny said.
He fired a ghost bolt at one abomination.
"Impressive. But my magic has improved." Amity said. "Abominations, combine!" The abominations combine together into one bigger one.
"Abomination attack!" The abomination attempts to punch Danny but it misses.
Danny attempts to use another ghost bolt on it but it doesn't work.
"Listen! I know it's hard to believe but we're not the enemy here!" Danny says while in the air trying to de-escalate the conflict.
Amity, unfortunately refused to listen and notices the others. "Abomination! Attack again!" Amity says.
Danny becomes intangible and the blast of dirt from the soil goes right through him.
"Do you believe me now? You can't hit me." Danny says while intangible.
"I wasn't going for you." Amity said. The blast goes towards his friends, who are stuck to the ground. The two struggle on the ground to get out but the it proves to be too much because of the magic.
"Amity! Stop this before someone gets hurt!" Luz pleaded.
The Abomination goes to finish them off.
Danny was angry now. If she had a problem with him, fine. But she was not going to take that out on his friends. "Get… away… from my FRIENDS!" Danny says, freezing the abomination with a cryokinetic ghost blast, shattering it right after.
Amity was shocked and dropped her jaw.
Danny had flew towards her after he freed his friends with his intangibility. He was angry, but he wasn't going to let his anger control him and make him do something he may regret.
Amity had fallen in fear. And started to move back away from Danny.
"Listen. I understand that what I'm saying is hard to believe. But right now, we don't have time for this! There's a ghost on the loose here in a place that I'm not even familiar with! If we don't stop her, this place could be in a lot of trouble." Danny said. She looked at her expression. That didn't exactly seem convincing.
He sighs. "If it'll make you trust me more, I'll show you my real identity." He said.
"Danny, are you sure about this?" Sam asked.
"We don't know our way around here much. We can get these guys to help us. But I have to earn their trust first." Danny said. Well, Amity's anyway. Danny thought. Even if the rest weren't fangirling over him like Luz was, they at least weren't ready to fight as soon as he showed his face.
He goes back to his human form. Two white rings surround him, one from his head and one at his feet. They combine together as he reverts to his normal clothes. His hair turns black and his eyes are blue instead of green.
"Whoa. He really is half-human, half-ghost!" Gus said. "I've got to save this on my Penstagram!"
"I get to see a superhero and his secret identity!" Luz suddenly puts her right fist over her heart. "Your secret is safe with me! I promise!" She says.
"Thanks." Danny said. He doesn't really know how to feel about this considering he's never had someone as… spirited as Luz be a fan of him so much.
"Does that at least get you to trust me more Amity?" Danny asked, lending his hand out.
Amity accepts it and pulls herself up. "Yeah, I guess." Amity responded. Danny smiles, glad that he could smooth out the between tension between the two quickly. "But if it looks as if you're being dishonest or if you hurt my friends, I won't hold back like I did before." Amity warned.
It's a start I guess. Danny thought to himself.
"If we can change gears here, where are we?" Jazz asked.
"The Boiling Isles! A place in the demon realm where magic is all around you!" Luz said, hands in the air trying to do her best impression of Eda in her "powerful magician personality."
"Now that that's been answered, the next question is finding out where Penelope is." Danny said.
"That's the ghost you were after when you got here, right?" Willow asked.
"Yeah." Danny answered.
"What does she do? What are her powers?" Luz asked.
"What ya' thinking kid?" Eda asked, curious.
"Well, in pretty much every book, movie, show and game the villain always has at least one ability that makes them unique along with their personalities. If we can figure out what her powers are, we may be able to figure out where she is. If she came with you guys, then she's just as unfamiliar with this place as you guys!" Luz said.
"You're a genius Luz!" Danny says.
She blushes. "Aw, thanks."
Sam just rolls her eyes. Fangirls. She thinks.
I called her a genius too. Why does this guy, who we don't even know get this much attention? Amity thought.
Danny continues. "Penelope has the power to drain the misery of others. The more people that she can drain and the more misery she has, the stronger she becomes."
"Is there anywhere around here where there's a lot of people? Cities? Schools?" Danny asks.
"Yeah. Bonesborough. For schools, there's Hexside and Glandus High." Eda said.
"Oh no. I think I know where she'll be. We have to go!" Danny said.
"Wait! We have to get King first." Luz said.
Luz walks to the door.
"Oh, hey Luz!" Hootie, the talking owl on the door said.
"Hi Hootie! I have to get King." Luz said.
"Okey dokey artichoke!" Hootie said before the door opens.
Luz sees King sleeping. "What is it. You're disturbing my nap!" King said.
"We're leaving on another adventure!" Luz said.
"Adventure? Will the adventure involve imposing my rule over the inhabitants of this realm?" King asked.
"Does stopping someone else from draining the life force of everyone here to give you the opportunity to rule them later count?" Luz asked.
"A King cannot rule a kingdom with no subjects! Onward!" King said, stretching as they left the house, for everyone to hear.
"Well aren't you cute!" Jazz said, petting him. "Can I hold him?" She asks.
"I am not cute!" King says.
"Sure. I don't think he'd mind." Luz answered.
"Well, let's go find this ghost. I'm not getting any younger." Eda said.
"Right. The city and Hexside are walking distance, so we won't have to fly." Luz told them.
"I wish I could go on an adventure too. I could use the cardio." Hootie said when they walked away.
Jazz continued coddling him as they were walking.
"You remind me of my little brother so much when he was younger. I could coddle and hug you all day!" Jazz said.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Danny asked.
"I'm taking about all the times you were helpless without me." Jazz said.
"I thought we were over that whole thing Jazz." Danny said.
"We are. But I should definitely show you guys the pictures of him in his baby suit." Jazz said.
"Please don't." Danny said.
"I just thought of something. How long have we been in here? Tucker, can you give us a time?" Sam asked.
Tucker pulls out his PDA. "Not sure. I think going into a different realm has bugged out the time function. Some of the other features still work though. Looks like I'll still be gaming!" Tucker said before starting to get lost in his PDA.
"A PDA? Wow." Luz said.
"Hey, this thing may be old but with my tech skills, it is state of the art. It's like a third arm for me!" Tucker said.
"This PDA. Is it the same as a video phone?" Gus asked.
"Not exactly. You can't call someone with a PDA, which is why I still have a phone… unless you're like me who's reprogrammed it to do calls too." Tucker said.
Tucker talks to Gus about considering a tech upgrade with his whole scroll setup.
Lilith and Eda continue talking about some of the moments that had before... they drifted apart.
Willow and Jazz talk to each other to learn more about each other's realms.
Luz, however talks to Amity out of earshot of the others, lagging behind the group intentionally.
Danny does the same with Sam.
"Okay, I know something's up. What is it?" Danny asked.
"I don't know, why don't you ask Luz since she's so smart." Sam said, frowning.
"Come on Sam, don't be like that. She's just a-" Danny cuts himself off and smiles.
"What?" Sam asked.
"I know what this is. You're jealous aren't you?" Danny asked.
"Pfft. No. I just don't want you to get a big head, because of one fan." Sam said. She actually was jealous, but she didn't want to admit it, as she knew fully well that Danny wouldn't get full of himself for having one person fangirling over him.
"Come on Sam. Remember when I was watching you and Elliot and you thought I was jealous? I'm not falling for that one that easily." Danny said.
"But you yourself told me that it was because he was working with the Guys in White." Sam said.
"Okay yeah, but that's different. The Guys in White were a danger to you, me and everyone else." Danny said.
"Suuure." Sam said.
"Luz isn't a bad guy though. She seems nice. A little enthusiastic, but it doesn't hurt." Danny said.
"So you like her then?" Sam asked.
"Yeah, as a friend."
"No Danny I mean like-like her."
"No. What made you jump to that conclusion?"
"What about when you two kissed back at the Owl House. You were there a good two-three seconds, and you didn't make an attempt to get off."
"Well yeah, because I didn't know what was happening at first."
"But you blushed. I saw how you looked afterwards."
"Okay, you got me there." Danny paused. "But it was an honest accident! How would you feel if something like that happened to you?"
"But it did. Remember the fake-out make-out?"
"Yeah, and I seem to remember that you enjoyed it."
"Yeah, but that's different."
"How?"
He had got her there. "Well-" Before she could finish her response, Luz said something that cut their conversation short.
"We're close to Hexside academy guys." She said, pointing to the steps to entering the school.
"But school's out for the day. So she would probably be somewhere in the main city." Luz said.
"There is a better chance that she would be in school more than anything else. Probably as a counselor like last time. It's easier to manipulate teens into telling you their real feelings if its someone they can trust than say an adult. But, let's keep a look out. If she isn't anywhere here, we can just try again tomorrow. This place does have days right?" Danny said.
"Of course!" Eda said.
"You guys go on ahead. Sam and I will catch up." Danny said.
"If Luz's fangirling getting to my head is what you're worried about, I won't. Remember the last time I became popular? I learned my lesson from that." Danny said to Sam.
"Good to hear you actually retain some information. Maybe you aren't as much of an airhead as I thought you were." Sam said.
"Still friends?" Danny said.
"Of course, Danny." Sam said.
The two hug it out.
Luz separates herself from the rest of the group to talk to Amity out of earshot about something.(A/N: This is Luz and Amity's dialogue from the scene before).
"Hey, Amity?" Luz says, trying to get her attention.
"Yeah?" Amity asked.
"I've never seen you act that way towards someone. Not even me. Before we became friends anyway. What's going on?" Luz asked.
"I'd rather not talk about it." Amity said, looking away and putting one arm on her shoulder.
"Come on Amity, please?" Luz asked.
"Maybe later Luz." Amity said, still refusing.
"You're holding something in. It's not healthy. If something's bothering you, the best thing you can do is let it out. If it's something that's close to you, tell me and tell no one else. Your secret is safe with me. Remember those things that we said to each in our witches' duel? We never told anyone else. Your secret is safe with me." Luz said.
"I don't know." Amity said, still unsure.
"Tú eres mi amigo Amity." Luz said.
"What does that mean?" Amity asked.
"It's Spanish for 'You're my friend.' " Luz said.
"I'd never do anything to hurt you Amity." She continued.
"Thanks Luz. I really do want to tell you, but-" Amity said, trailing off.
Luz suddenly makes funny faces at Amity.
Eventually she starts to laugh. Luz then joins in, trying not laugh herself while doing those faces.
"Sometimes, laughter is the best medicine!" Luz says.
Amity calms down, still laughing a little. She tries to talk in between recovering from her laughter. "Okay…. okay. You win! I'll tell you." Amity says.
Calm now, Amity starts. "Well… I just… I just don't trust them, okay? Like how were they able to get here without any portals or assistance with magic? It just seems weird to me that they show up after what happened with the emperor. Think about it. It's the perfect time for him to attack! Use something that you like personally, and create an illusion of it, that way you'll let your guard down and they can take all of you away when your backs are turned."
Luz is silent now. Still listening.
"I just don't want anything to happen to you." She quickly adds, "Or the others."
She continues, "You guys are my friends. Something that I've had before. But when I'm around you," Amity says, but blushes and quickly adds "guys." "I feel happy. I've never felt that much joy before."
"Oh, Amity. Come here. Bring it in." Luz says.
They stop and hug, with Amity blushing. No one sees this, however.
"We're close to Hexside academy guys!" She said, pointing to the steps to entering the school.

Danny and Sam catch up eventually. They couldn't find her. But Danny's ghost senses kept going off. She was around somewhere, but she was doing a good job of hiding.
Little did they know that she was listening in on their conversations and she smiled.
Cutting their losses, they went back to the Owl House where Luz would show them the spells that she learned.
"That's incredible!" Jazz said, impressed with the spells.
"Thanks. I'm still learning though. The next one I'm trying to learn is invisibility." Luz said.
"She's even trying to copy your powers Danny. Next thing you know she'll be able to walk through walls and fly. Much more unique than other girls right Danny?" Tucker said.
"Zip it Tucker." Sam said.
"Who got your panties in a bunch?" Tucker said.
Sam stepped on Tucker's foot hard.
"Ow! Ow! Ow! Okay, lips zipped." Tucker said.
"So you've been to earth before?" Jazz asked.
"Yeah. A couple of months ago. We met a family called the Secret Saturdays. We worked with them to stop some abominations that escaped." Luz said.
"Wait, Secret Saturdays. They didn't mention anything about secret scientists did they?" Danny asked.
"Yeah, they did actually. We worked wit them too. Why?" Luz asked.
"So my dad was right?" Danny said out loud.
Back on Earth
Jack and Maddie Fenton go to Vlad to see if he has an answer for getting Danny.
Vlad gladly agreed to help get Danny to help Maddie.
But the problem was that he doesn't know where they could have possibly gone.
Even with taking him to the cabin and giving him the Magicnifier, he still was stumped, because he has never dealt with magic before.
They thanked him anyway for at least trying and he promised that he would contact them if he had a solution.
When they left, Vlad decided to try something. If Danny and whatever ghost he was fighting was able to enter, then he probably would be enter the same way they did: in ghost form. So he went ghost and tried flying in. It actually worked. Going invisible to make sure he wasn't seen, he started looking for Danny. As much as he sees Danny as a rival, he made a promise to Maddie, so he has to keep it. No matter what.
And there's chapter two! Another pretty long chapter with Vlad entering the mix! Not sure if Danny will be too happy to see him! Next chapter is in the works!
