[Beacon Academy: Remnant]
As Jaune was fighting over the skies of no man's land, there was an entirely different story going on back on his home planet or more specifically in the Kingdom of Vale's prestigious Beacon Academy.
The new that a student went missing was relatively contained thanks to no short part Professor Goodwitch and the Headmaster of Beacon Headmaster Ozpin.
Thanks to Ozpin's connections and the favors he had gathered over the years a majority of the school believe that Jaune was on sick leave thanks to a nasty fever and was currently with his sister Saffron in Argus recovering.
Only a han full of people knew the truth...
That Jaune Arc, first year student of Beacon Academy and leader of team JNPR disappeared one day without a trace...
Two groups who knew the truth was the rest of team JNPR and their unofficial sister team, team RWBY.
Ruby Rose, Jaune's best friend was sad, and not at all like her usual happy go lucky self as she missed Jaune and she couldn't help but be worried for him after all he was the first friend she ever made when she arrived at Beacon.
Weiss was acting like nothing was wrong but her friends knew that on the inside she was suffering inner turmoil as she blamed herself for what happened. She gave him the experimental dust that made him disappear not long after she gave it to him.
Weiss suspected that the experimental does had something to do with his disappearance but didn't know what so she launched a secretive investigation into the experimental dust and what exactly its purpose was.
Blake, while not close to Jaune appreciated that he believed in equal rights for the Faunus, and accepted her when he found out that she was a cat Faunus.
They hardly ever talk but that didn't mean that she didn't consider him a friend.
Yang was worried for her sister Ruby as she knew that disappearance of her best friend was getting to her. Yang also thought of Jaune as a friend as she used to tease him a lot about his crush on Weiss and would be the one to comfort him when the girl in question would inevitably turned him down.
Pyrrah was short...of quiet after Jaune disappeared as unknown to most people she had a "secret" crush on her team leader and teammate as he was the first person to ever treat her as a normal person as he didn't even know who she was when they first met.
Pyrrah hated being treated as special just because she was considered a prodigy...Jaune even manage to impress her at the dance where he kept his word by wearing a dress even though she thought he was kidding.
Nora... wasn't her usual chippy self as even pancakes didn't seem to break her sour mood as she missed her fearless leader. Jaune was a great friend for Nora and even though she put him down sometimes although mostly unintentionally... she considered him a great friend and a great team leader so much so that she even gave him the unofficial nickname of fearless leader.
Ren... was just quiet although he would never admit that he missed Jaune. Jaune was the first male companion he had in a long while and considered him a good friend as he helped him out with Nora a lot and understood his burden of having to watch over Nora and her antics as Jaune grew up with seven sisters.
As for Jaune's family only two people knew the truth.
Ozpin decided to spell the truth to Saffron Cotta-Arc, Jaune's older sister and the only one who lived away from home. Saffron was the only Arc Ozpin could trust with the information as he had a feeling informing the rest of the family would just cause a lot of headaches for him in the future.
Saffron took some convincing but she eventually agreed to his plan as long as he focused and trying to find her brother.
Saffron loves her brother dearly as although she treats him like a little kid he means a lot to her and she would be devastated if anything bad word do ever happen to him.
Terra Cotta-Arc, Saffron's wife is the only other individual who knows thanks to her marriage to Saffron. While she hardly knew her brother-in-law she never unless grew to care for him as out of most of her wife siblings she was the closest to her baby brother which made Terra happy as seeing Saffron happy was all she needed.
All the while their son Adrian looked at them with interest wondering what was going on as although he was a baby he understood that whatever was going on involved his uncle.

"So have you heard anything guys?"asked Pyrrah as team JNPR and RWBY had their weekly meeting to discuss any and new information on Jaune's whereabouts.
They I've been having these meetings every Saturday for a month, as that is how long Jaune has been gone...
"Nothing... I talked to everyone in the school when no one saw him leave the day he disappeared. Some told me they saw him go to a classroom but after that they didn't see him go anywhere else."said Ruby who found it suspicious that no one spotted him leave as the campus was full of people meaning it was next to impossible for someone to sneak out, especially during day hours.
"I talk to a trusted executive who's a family friend and not exactly fond of my father...and he said the dust I handed Jaune was highly experimental and that even father didn't know what he could do as testing had been discontinued not long after Jaune disappeared."said Weiss, who based on the bags on her eyes look like she was exhausted.
"I got nothing either as Sun told me there has but no chatter on the streets about anyone fitting Jaune's description buying a train ticket or a plane ticket, not even a bowl ticket."said Blake whose friend Sun Wukong has been helping her try to find your friend.
"Nothing from the shady Side of Vale either. I talk to my "friend" and he said that no one matching vomit boy came anywhere near his operation for transportation out of the Kingdom."said Yang, who is tempted to ruin her "friend's" day but was stopped after she thought she heard sirens in the distance.
"I miss fearless leader guys! Where do you think he could have run off to?"asked Nora as she was munching on some therapy pancakes to try to make herself feel better.
"Nora is right it's like Jaune never left Beacon but he disappeared from Beacon at the same time."analyze Ren, who although he knew his statement didn't make any sense it was the only one that seemed plausible based on their investigations.
"Ahh! This it's so frustrating where on Remnant did you go Jaune!"said Ruby and she grabbed her hair with both of her hands.
"Wow easy since we don't want you pulling out any hair."said Yang who stopped her sister from doing anything crazy.
"This is unbelievably hard! Jaune doesn't have stealth skills whatsoever and his armor makes him stick out like a sore thumb so how come no one saw him leave!"said Weiss and frustration as she hated not knowing the answer but would still never admit she was worried.
'She's worried but her pride will never let her admit that...' thought the more perceptive Blake who notice these kinds of things.
"I miss Jaune guys. I mean many people are saying he ran off but how does that explain no one seeing him or any news that he has appeared anywhere. I mean I even it's next to impossible for someone to disappear from this Academy and not see them leaving. I just hope Jaune is okay."said Pyrrah with an extremely worried look on her face.
'She really misses her crush..." thought everyone else in the room minus Ruby who was not perceptive to these type of things.
"I know this is hard, but we have to focus on the Vital festival as I'm sure that what Jaune would want."said Weiss who really wanted to get her mind off this topic before it got any more intense in the room.
"I hate to admit this but the ice queen is right."said Nora.
"Hey!"
"Jaune may not be here right now but he would want us to fight for the glory of our kingdom! So let's roll up our sleeves and go to the training Hall as we need to be in tip top shape if we want to when the Vital festival for Beacon Academy and for Vale!"said Nora who hoped that wherever Jaune was he would be watching them.
"Nora's right! Jaune would not want a smoking around we need to get into shape as the vital festival is in a few days and we don't want to disappoint him by losing our matches without a fight."said Pyrrah causing everyone to get amped up.
"Yeah let's show the world what team RWBY and JNPR can do!"said Ruby who threw her fist high in the air as they started marching out of the room to go to the training Hall.
"You heard my little sister let's get going."said Yang as she grabbed Weiss by the neck and started giving her a noogie.
"Hey stop messing up my hair you brute!"
"Nope..."said Yang with a naughty smile on her face.
Weiss and Yang walked out of the room all the while Weiss tried to get out of Yang's iron grip but to no avail as everyone laughed on and even Blake gave a smile to her friends antics.

Meanwhile in the headmaster's office three individuals were having a interesting discussion.
They were Ozpin, Professor Goodwitch, and the head of the Atlas military and Headmaster of Atlas Academy General James Ironwood.
"Are you sure we shouldn't show them the footage?"asked Glynda.
"It's best that they do not see this footage for we do not know exactly what it means ourselves."said Ozpin as he took a step of his coffee re-watching the video of Jaune getting sucked into a wormhole.
"Ozpin's right. We shouldn't worry his students without greater knowledge as to what is going on."said Ironwood, who was on Ozpin's side.
"What did you learn James?"asked Ozpin as he turned to face the general.
"The Dust that Jaune Arc used was from a rare part of the mines controlled by the Schnee Dust company. This is a new type of dust and it's very hard to get your hands on it as they're so little of it. Not even my best scientist know what's going on as any testing has been prohibited until we can get more."said Ironwood, wondering how a student from Beacon Academy got his hands on such rare dust.
"Let's just hope that Mr. Arc is alive and somewhere safe since I do not want to go to his mother and father and report bad news."said Ozpin as he took another sip of his coffee.
[Unknown to all of Remnant, they would soon be seeing Jaune again in the very near future...only the Jaune they remember in the one that's coming back are very different...]
Hey guys sorry I have not updated in some while as I was reading every history article I could come up with so I can make Yellow Death as historically accurate as possible.
Next chapter two legends of the sky will face each other in their long-awaited duel to the death!
Who will come up on top and be considered the King of the skies?!
How will people react to this?!You or we'll just have to read the next chapter as Yellow Death continues.
P.S: I've been thinking of writing a Jaune story where he's a pilot for the Americans during World War II but I'm not sure.
