Bobby dragged himself into the bedroom while he waited for the shower, ready to get out his school clothes for the day. He opened his drawer only to find Oliver's things in his place as Oliver walked out wearing Bobby's favorite shirt.

"Hey, that's my shirt," Bobby said. "And where are my clothes?"

"Uncle Mike said I could have them," Oliver smiled. "The ones I thought were ugly I tore up and put them in the trash."

"Dad!" Bobby shouted as he ran downstairs. "This has gone too far. He tore up my clothes!"

"Calm down, Bobby," Mike told him. "Oliver is a guest in our home and we have to make him feel at home."

"But—"

"You were outgrowing your clothes anyway," Mike told him. "Maybe Peter has some hand-me-downs for you."

"But what about—"

"Go get ready for school," Mike said. "After school we'll start moving you to the garage."

"The garage?" Bobby asked. "What's wrong with my bed?"

"Oliver doesn't being that high so we're taking that bed down," Mike told him as he pushed Bobby out the door. "We'll discuss this after school."

As Bobby got to the staircase, he saw Oliver at the top of the stairs, just smiling down at him.

"I don't get it," Bobby told Peter as they walked to school with Bobby in one of Peter's old shirts and a fair of sandals. "Why is he getting special treatment?"

"Bobby, his parents are dead," Peter told him. "He needs to be treated extra nice."

"He's taking over my bed and my wardrobe," Bobby said. "And I didn't get dinner last night."

"That's your fault for not taking out the trash," Peter told him. "I guess we just should give time to adjust, it's not like he's out to get you."

As Bobby turned the corner, he saw Luke talking to his friends. Bobby smiled and walked toward them as Oliver got in front of Bobby.

"Hi, cousin," Oliver said. "We got off on the wrong foot, I want to make it up to you. Why don't I buy you a soda after school."

"I guess that's okay," Bobby said. "Excuse me, I want to talk to—"

"Why don't you show me where class is?" Oliver asked, "I don't know my way around school and you probably know where everything is."

Oliver led Bobby away from Luke and his friends as Luke turned around. "Bobby, hey, I want to talk to you!"

Before Luke could catch up to them, Oliver pushed Bobby into the closet and closed the door.

"Hey, let me out!" Bobby shouted as he pounded on the door. "This isn't funny!"

Oliver smirked as he looked at Luke. "You're Bobby's friend. You can probably be my friend, too."

By the time Bobby was let out, the school day was almost over. He ran to class where the teacher gave him a stern look.

"Playing hooky?" the teacher asked.

"No!" Bobby shouted. "Someone locked me in the closet and—"

The teacher held up a paper that read 'Fuck you bitch' with Bobby's name on it.

"You wrote this, then ditched class," the teacher told him. "Your cousin told me the whole plan."

"I didn't do that!' Bobby told her. "You gotta believe me!"

"I can't Bobby was expelled for writing that obscenity," Carol said. "It's just not like Bobby. And then he blames innocent little Oliver for it. I think Bobby's little jealous of the attention Oliver's getting."

"Well, we can't ignore the problem or it might get worse," Mike sighed. "Maybe we need to put the hammer down on this before he does anything else."

Bobby sat on the living room couch as the other kids sat on the stairs.

"Until we find you a new school, you are grounded," Mike said. "You won't leave the house or play in the yard. You won't be allowed any sweets and you will help Alice with her duties while we're away."

"But I didn't write that letter, Oliver did," Bobby said. "He locked me in that closet."

"Now, Bobby, blaming Oliver won't solve anything," Mike told him. "You need to be a man and own up to what you did."

A tear fell down Bobby's face. "Yes, sir."

"Now go to the garage, that's your new room," Mike said as Bobby stood up, getting stares from the other kids as he headed to the door. Oliver just smiled at him as Bobby headed to the garage.

"What are we going to do with that boy?" Mike asked. "I am at the end of my rope."

"Uncle Mike, I have an idea," Oliver told him.

"It's not fair," Bobby said as he sat on a cot in the garage. "Why is Oliver only doing these things so me and no one else?"

Days passed and Bobby found himself stuck in the garage with no bed and no clean clothes. What little scraps of food he got were left outside the door. It's almost as if his family had forgotten about him. Luckily there was a bathroom in the garage so at least he had had.

After a week, Bobby had grown board but before he could walk to the house, a knock came at the door. Bobby opened it and found Luke.

"I heard you were expelled," Luke said. "I haven't heard from you so I came to check in on you."

"It's Oliver," Bobby said as he pulled Luke in and closed the door. "He's got everyone believing he's a good guy. I don't have any food or clean clothes. I must look horrible."

"I know, he's been hanging out with all of your friends," Luke told him. "And your siblings can do is talk about him. It's kinda scary."

"I have to prove he's behind all of this," Bobby said. "But how? My family's against me and I'm all alone."

"No, you're not. And for the record, I think you're the hottest guy in school," Luke whispered as he touched Bobby's cheek. The two leaned in and kissed before Luke pulled back. "i'm going to help you. I'll come back when the coast is clear and we'll figure a way out of this."

Luke stood up and headed for the door, smiling before he left. As he walked out of the driveway, Oliver watched him.

Luke was walking back to his house when a car started backing out of the driveway. As he got to the driveway, a leg stuck out, causing Luke to trip and fall in the driveway. He looked up in time to scream.

"Everything's going to be okay," Bobby told himself as he pulled his shirt on. "They'll realize that Oliver's not who they think he is and it'll all be okay. I'll bet they'll be sorry for what happened and I can tell them that… that I like guys. I think I'll prepare them for the news before hand."

Bobby walked into the house and headed upstairs to make sure Oliver wasn't there. Once it was clear, he headed downstairs to head toward the den to have a talk with his father when he suddenly felt something knock him unconscious. As Bobby drifted into darkness, he could only dream of Luke.

As Bobby lay unconscious on the ground, Oliver pulled out a pair of scissors to start cutting Bobby's shirt.

"Sorry, Bobby, but this family is mine now," Oliver told him. "There's not room for two adorable boys in this family."
