Guys hold on, each and every one will get the holy opportunity to curse me! Please get in line.

OMG! The reviews were insane. I never expected it to be that hit. I dunno about you guys but I was a big, a huge thing for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

NOW THEN, as a piece of warning the following work is scandal.

Fun fact, in an attempt to make it vengeful and angsty I pinch myself every few times to bring the mood. It still gets comedy, pathetic. Just kidding don't worry the angst and tragic part isn't here yet. As I mentioned Hinata is still delusioned of her relation and Sasuke couldn't care less about the debauchery. As for the reasons why I'll mention in the later chapters. Things will get real nasty and vulgar once Hinata perceives how realistic the situation is. Also this chapter is sort of a bridge for upcoming chapters. So please don't get rebellious if you don't find the chapter scandalous enough.

DISCLAIMER: I DON'T OWN NARUTO OR BORUTO.

CHAPTER 3: ISSUES WITH HANGOVERS

Hinata rolled on her bed scowling at the racking head ache and the strong odour of mens perfume and alcohol. Her surroundings were pulsating with a tangy smell very particular to her husband, cheating husband. Few years back she could have blushed and dug her face deeper into the pillows reminiscing her husband's scent all around her. This time she hated it. It was no way he could miraculously appear engulfing her in a hug. She was rolling on a empty bed for fucksake.

Then why was his smell everywhere around her choking her into harrow pits? Was he here?

She squeezed her eyes tighter. If he was here he wouldn't want to see his face. No she won't hate him, she wasn't capable of such potentiality. Instead she would hate herself for being such an asshole wife who couldn't stand up to-

"You're alive. " A deep voice disturbed her pity party. If she had her mind working right now she would have given an equally satirical response. But she wasn't, her organs felt like they would pop out of her any time. Her head was throbbing and she was feeling nauseous with the amount of whiffs she was taking in one uncertain breath.

Speaking about nauseous, she felt some nasty viscous dumps coming up to her throat along with burning bile and acids. It took her a minute to process that she was severely nauseous. She would spew any minute anywhere.

That was a tempting option considering her sore body but the aftermath wouldn't be oh so pleasant. The malodor and fetid would make her feel worse. More worse, nah she'll jog to the bathroom.

And she did. She sprinted across the room at once feeling few sharp objects under her feet. She Plopped across the commode she hurled her insides in there. She took support from the edges and brought one trembling hand to keep her hair away from the ralph. Her hair has grown, it went a little below her shoulders and now she wished she was a bald. Sweatbeads were across her face and very little helping it was to get your hair sticking around your mouth while you were purging. She successfully tamed her one side but the other side was unruly. Why were her organs so uncoordinated now?

She groaned and gagged. However she didn't flinch when a rather calloused huge hand grabbed all her hair behind her head. If anything she was grateful.

She disgorged again, Scrunching her nose up in repugnance she choked herself when she felt another spike of upchuck. Retching for the last torturous time she stood up in quivering legs and a disgruntled brain. She waved her hands in a futile attempt to flush but to no avail. When she heard the sound of flush for the second time she was grateful for however was with her.

She was guided to the wash basin. Upon touching the cold faucet she practically drowned her head in the running water. She even gulped a few greedy lumps of water in an attempt to dilute the odious taste of her vomit. When she was done she lifted herself to have a look in the mirror. The mirror was splashed with water and her own figure was translucent. Frowning at the iffy image she blinked her eyes a few times to gain her vision at least. When she opened her eyes the first thing she saw was a towel. She moved her gaze along it towards the person who was her harbinger for the obnoxious day. Sasuke uchiha.

She stared at him dumbfounded. What was he doing here? Taking in his sculpted face and an impassive expression she tried to put her thoughts together.

Then it clicked her. Yesterday's occurence in very great deal of details. Of the heartbreak and trouble with liquor. Later the silent dinner and ghosting back to her bedroom. There she spotted a few more liquor bottles. Without hesitation she grabbed them and took them to the shower where she would collapse and cry her eyes out. Unfortunately that didn't work but she was heavily inebriated. She must have stumbled back to her bed breaking a few decoys. Who cares about decoys when her heart was bombed in smithereens?

Feeling another choke of sobs she accepted the towel and wiped her face with it. No she wasn't going to cry. She vowed to get stronger for her and her kids.

"A-arigatou Uchiha San. " A meek voice greeted Sasuke.

"Hn." He stared at her disheveled form not minding at all. Honestly Sasuke was quite amused watching an intoxicated Hyuga tossing aside her grace, wobbling around her room with swollen eyes breaking stuffs. Especially glasses. She took a pleasure in hearing the sound of them shatter to pieces. Was she trying to seek company for her heart?

"Stop staring. " She whined.

"You look like hell. " He casually remarked with a motive to lift her mind off a possible breakdown.

Making a weird face at him she glanced at her reflection in the mirror. She was mortified herself at her demeanor. Like hell indeed. "Ughhh.. What happened? "

"After the kids were asleep you went on a drunken rampage in here. "

Her eyes widened in horror. "B-but... The k-kids-"

He looked annoyed at her. "I've placed a few seals to silence this floor. "

"Ah! A-arigatou! " She heaved a sigh of relief and wiped her face in the fluffy towel when another important topic hit her. "What time is it? " She jumped out of her hearing her own voice.

"9." He replied. "Don't bother. The kids are still asleep." That made her a bit at ease. When she gave him a questioning look he continued. "They're pretty emotionally drained. Fortunately they don't look like shit. "

Hinata groaned dealing with his remarks. Deciding to ignore him she wobbled back to the door way . She gasped at the panorama her room presented. The once organised room was now in tattered. Broken glasses, spilled alcohol, ripped up clothes, splattered flowers, scraped furniture and lastly the broken perfume. No wonder the smell was so familiar and sickening. She cringed at the malodour it emitted.

Sasuke quietly observed the Hyuga. She was herself shocked out of her soul staring at her 'piece of art'. And here he thought he could tease some more. After few minutes of cautious inspection she finally spoke.

"The smell... It's sickening. " Sasuke took a moment to understand what she meant. The only odor that over powered everything was the cowped perfume. If it wasn't hers then... Oh. He dully supported her statement with a "yeah".

Hinata circled her temples in a barren try to ease some headache. The odor was sickening and head bursting. She considered the option of actually closing the bathroom door and get imprisoned in there for a while. Then again what good would that do?

When Sasuke offered some pills to her she gave him another perplexed look. "It eases the pain. " He replied nonchalantly. She nodded and swallowed the pilla coughing a bit.

"I'll be down stairs. " He said and sauntered off the place. She dimly nodded and closed the bathroom doors.

When Hinata came out of her hot shower the first thing she acknowledged was the fetid smell was fainter. She noticed the open windows. Assuring herself a teeny smile being extremely grateful to Sasuke for the third time in an hour.

Her body was feeling better and her soul a little collected. Looking at the mess she created a thought popped into her mind,

'Sasuke can only lead me the way, I have to pick up my own broken pieces. '

Sarada rubbed her fists in her eyes very cautiously and gently. She looked around and sighed when she caught Himawari still sleeping. Yesterday night She must have troubled her with the stifled cries. Every now and then Sarada felt tissues and hankies aided to her from above. She was on the futon besides the bed.

She walked out of the room towards the hallway hoping to use the washroom. Yesterday she got a little tour around however papa said something on the lines of upper floor being mutated, so they were prohibited. She understood it was about Ms. Uzumaki. Getting betrayed by your mother, when your much yearned father was with you was different from getting betrayed by someone with whom you had taken vows and had a family. She did remember how Baka Boruto complained about his mother always taking side of his shitty old man. He also mentioned how she was in love with him since they kids.

It was pleasant to hear about such unconditional and irrevocable love, now looking at it messily splitting apart was heart breaking and traumatic.

Not that she was in any position to comfort anyone. She just felt pang of sadness thinking about her. It must have been hard on her. Yet, she was homing them; her home wrecker's family. She flinched at the title he gave her and her father.

She found herself routing towards the kitchen instead of bathroom when she smelled hot delectable food being prepared. Unceremoniously she popped in the kitchen catching an unusual scene. Ms. Uzumaki was humming and Cooking while Papa was calmly reading the newspaper at the couch sipping tea. It almost felt like a everyday family. Almost...

"Ohayo Sarada chan! " Ms. Uzumaki waved at her while flashing a genuine smile. "How was your sleep? "

Sarada found herself smiling at her. How can anyone be so cruel to hurt her? Her? She was the epitome of kindness and love. "Ohayo Ms. uzumaki! "She felt like slapping herself when the smile on her face dissipated. Did she say something to Ms. Uzumaki-

Ms. Uzumaki

That would have stung.

" Uhh! I-i... Was wondering if.. I could call you ermm M-Ms. Hyuga? " She hurriedly spoke tried to correct her mistake.

Hinata was slightly taken aback by her quick realization and recovery. She took few steps towards her and placed her hands on her shoulder. "Please don't stress yourself for such things. You can call me whatever you feel comfortable in. "

Sarada beamed. Now taking her in consideration she recalled how she had known for since she was a kid. Sometimes she would pop up in her house to deliver lunch stating she meet Sakura San and she was busy. She would even bring her meals when she was training with Baka Boruto, when sarada would politely decline out of mild embarrassment she would scold and say starving is not good for training. On her birthdays She would drop by with Hima, wish her and give her a modest gift. If you ask her Hinata was the second most visited woman at their house, Ino-san was first but she always was so loud and mama would fight with her with all the nick names she could gather up. But HInata-san was nothing like that rather she was a good listener and pacifier. She was so familiar with her Sarada herself wondered why was she calling her so formally to begin with. She was sort of mother figure-

"Kaachan! " Himawari ran into Hinata's arms and hugged her for dear life. Hinata giggled and hugged her back.

"Ohayo Hima chan! " She playfully kissed her forehead causing her to grin widely.

"O-H-A-Y-O KAACHAANNNN" Himawari sang.

"Why don't you freshen up we eat our breakfast together? I'm starving! " Hinata patted her beloved daughter's back and gently pushed away.

"Hai! The food smells delicious! "

"Really? I'm glad. " Hinata chuckled at her daughter. She couldn't believe this bundle of happiness was her miracle. "Meanwhile why don't you help Sarada chan? Hima knows where the essentials are right? "

"I do! I do! " She turned on her heels and grabbed sarada's wrist. "Cmon oneechan. " She tugged her wrist and dragged her away but not before Sarada said what she wanted.

"Arigatou H-hinata San. "

No, she was nothing sort of mother figure to her. She was being her usual humble and benevolent self. The bond she saw between Himawari and Hinata San was a long walk for her. A one she was willing to enjoy with steady rhyme. But first things first, she needed to attend mother nature's call.

Naruto pranced around in his office. There were stacks and stacks of paperworks to be done, but that wasn't his primitive concern now. Just a few minutes ago he was having a very hard time convincing a weeping sakura to go home and take rest. She was having a breakdown every hour considering her only daughter has ran off with her father and she, Sakura had no idea where they were. To be honest neither did Naruto. His clones has been searching all around the Konoha and he still had no idea where the father daughter went.

Honestly if he figures where Sasuke is, he wouldn't really volunteer and have a chat with him.

Sasuke. His best guess is he could have left the village. If he follows his guess then Sarada could be with him. Sasuke has been travelling for a decade now, he would known each and every place to hid them. Even his sage mode couldn't pin point them. He knew about Sasuke, he could hide his chakra from him but for Sarada? Did she knew to hide chakras as well? Even if she didn't all it could have taken for her to learn was spin the sharingan and damn! Their chakra signatures could be just like civilians. The Konoha, mind you, had an impressive population who were now not very much keen in Shinobi life style. The world has developed and jobs sprouting every now and then had made people rethink their decision of joining Konoha forces.

"Naruto! " He blinked his eyes at the intruder. There stood Nara Shikamaru with one of his gloved hands on his hips staring at him.

"Uh! Yeah..? " He asked a little nervous. Shikamaru wasn't a genius for nothing. Naruto was sure he had figured out the fucked up situation he was in. However he was grateful about his decision to not to comment on his particular fucked up situation.

Shikamaru stared at the sweating hokage. He let out a long sigh. "You really did it this didn't you? " He murmured.

No he takes his word back. Shikamaru said it at last. But right now Naruto really wanted someone to talk to. "Yeah... It was a bad timing. "

"Sasuke came back last night. "

"He caught us right after it. " Naruto murmured half heartedly.

They weren't caught. In fact they didn't go that far. They were naked and he was using his fingers. The only thing he regretted last night was not being vigilant .Stealth was something Naruto could never beat Sasuke at. That and hinata...

"Shikamaru say something! "

"It's your personal matter. I'll lend you a ear not may brain. " For all he knew this was way too troublesome.

"You're my right hand man! You're legit supposed to help me deal with... Issues!"

"I'm the hokage's right hand. Ribaldry has got nothing to do with me. " He stated firmly. Even though he was against all the debauchery happening he was not stupid to poke his nose in it.

"Shikamaru..."

Even though every time he greeted Hinata concerning her husband's absence he could witness her soul broke a little more. He gritted his teeth.

"Naruto come to your senses! This not the guy I know! Uzumaki Naruto would never do anything unfair to anyone. "He reminded him.

Then it clicked Naruto. " Right Shikamaru! "

Shikamaru smiled at him.

Probably now he'll understand Hinata...

Probably now it's time to be with Sakura chan...

Few days later Hinata simply couldn't hold herself. Her days were getting monotonous and she could feel she was losing it. Even though for any stranger her routine would look very normal she knew better. The situation at her home was warming up. Sarada would sometimes zone out but she assured it was okay and she needed some time to cop up with everything that's all. Hinata understood her and frequently let her have privacy and a box of tissues. Himawari was surprisingly glued to Sasuke's tail. He claimed she annoyed him a lot but never once he pushed her away. That was enough motivation for Himawari to get on his nerves.

However she was a different case. She was frustrated, agitated, rage was eating her up and she was starting hold grudges. Grudges against her own cheater husband and once a time best friend. She was severely frustrated how Naruto was taking her so lightly that even there wasn't a courtesy visit. Now she was below expectations but she wasn't that worthless. It hurt her, irritated how she was getting treated like a trash. She won't lie she did somewhere expect Naruto to come and apologies her and she should do so...

As a result she would avoid the topic for the rest of the day. But for how long? As much as she dreaded it she dearly wanted to get out of this mess. The hard feelings , foreign feelings were eating her up. She was scared one of these days she'll snap on the people living with her under one roof. That wasn't Hinata like, besides it was not just her who was going through it. So she had to hang on, bcome stronger and protect her own kids. The hangover made her learn so many different things, one of them being, how to hold on.

That is why she was all dressed up with a nice food basket of herring soba and lots of sunflower in another. She was going to visit Neji today and tell him her resolute to hold on for her kids. She would live for them no matter what her husband is doing to him. No matter how disgruntled and frustrated she herself was.

"Kaachan let's go!" Himawari tugged her wrists and lead her towards the doorway. she nodded at her daughter.

"Hinata-san?" asked Sarada bewildered where they were heading out. Papa said he had some work so he left for a few hours but why were they leaving? "Are you going somewhere?''

"Yes Sarada-chan. We'll be paying a visit to Neji nii." She earnestly answered.

"Where to?" She was yet to be assured of the situation. Sometimes she would be afraid that mama would come take her away from papa or Papa would actually dice her. Both of the outcomes were disturbing for Sarada hence her preference to spend time with Hinata-san. She was so comforting to be around. Sometimes she would feel sorry for her.

"Oh the memorial stone that's all." Sarada was caught off guard. The cemetery? Oh. She lowered her gaze and murmured an apology.

"It's ok Sarada-chan. Sometimes its good to remember deceased. Whenever I do, I always try to think of the good memories. He was a war hero after all. Right Himawari?" Hianata had no idea why she was revealing personal details to her. The girl was pretty scathed what was the point of making her remember the deceased?

"Hai oneechan. I haven't meet him but Kaachan says he always protects us from heavens above. How cool ne?'' Hinata giggled and modded.

"I guess..." Sarada wondered about her own deceased. She knew no one, only she was informed Uncle Itachi was a hero who protected Konoha and papa. How ? Where? When? She had no idea. No one bothered to tell her about her own family members unlike Hianata san who informed little Hima.

"Sarada." Hinata called her. "Don't you want to remember someone?''

"I dunno...I have no idea about my family, only a bit about Uncle Itachi. I visit them once during the memorial services." She admitted. She didn't feel like hiding anything from her. She must have known more than her anyways.

"Then," Hinata carefully handed her some flowers from her own. "Why don't you meet him now? I'm positive he must be wanting to meet you again." she handed her some flowers and smiled. It was great how Sakura kept veil from everything from her daughter.

"You think so?" Sarada beamed. Maybe she could try. Besides she didn't want to be left alone in the house.

"Yes of course." Himawari grabbed her wrists and tugged her all along.
