Hiroshi dragged the leash cord with all his strength.
"I thought you loved me!"
Blue screamed on top of her lungs. The man grunted dragging the ninken with all his body weight behind it.
"And I do! But you stink!"
Hana Inusuka stared blankly at the monthly display.
"The smartest ninken in a generation. And she is a whiner."
"Hana please don't do this to me! I promise I will stop to leave flees in your jacket!"
Hiroshi loose his balance as Hana took the cord from his hands.
"Oh gosh Hiroshi, you seem to be struggling a little there. Why don't you let me take care of this?"
He blinked at Hana dragging Blue to the clinic, claw marks marring the floor.
A few hours later Blue was staring blanking at the floor, her tail tucked between her legs. A pink bow attached to the top of her head.
Hiroshi looked up at Hana.
"I really feel like I should be paying you for the full course treatment you gave Blue"
"Oh, don't be ridiculous Hiroshi. It was my pleasure."
Her smile had a little too many canines on her, and Hiroshi took a step back.
"I see. So how have the clinic been going?"
She blinked at him and smiled.
"Great actually, the appliances your guys installed had really helped and reduced need for medicines. And rose up quality life as a general for our partners."
"Glad to hear it."
She just smirked.
"No chance you are sharing the array of those seals."
He chuckled getting the leash from Hana's hand.
"Sorry but no."
Hiroshi walked with Blue still with her tail between her legs. At least she did not stink anymore.
No matter how dog like an Inusuka dog looked. They were still closer to wolfs.
Hiroshi stopped shortly as the thick eyebrows man was waiting for him and the one armed man.
"Something came up."
He gave blue a bow with her favorite treat and walked the two to the table in the room serving tea as they spoke.
"What happened?"
"One of the returning teams was walking back when they were find out by mercenaries nuke nin?"
Hirsohsi nodded.
"The alpha site?"
"There were some complications, not quite sure yet what. But the man is captured."
"For ransom money."
"I think they will try to breed him out."
"Where did this happen?"
"Wave country."
Hiroshi closed his eyeys and took a deep breath. He told time and time again, don't go to wave. We don't want to be caught up in what happens there.
"Okay we will need to bring in the shinobi. This kind of rescue will need them."
The other two grimaced.
"He still has his disguise seal?"
They nodded.
"Some direct family in the clan."
They nodded again.
"Then bring this person up top speed and a collaborator that they were in commercial caravan. And someone to say there had being weird rumors about wave Country. Something about nuke nins from Kiri. Get the money to pay for a A rank… a C rank and work around a payment plan."
They both nodded, The man with thick eyebrows stood leaving when Hiroshi called the man with one arm.
"Ah do you have a moment?"
The man blinked and nodded. As Hirsohi waved.
"Ah it not serious business. Just a little something for the animation guild."
The blinked and gave a small chuckle.
"Sure, I could discuss something lighter."
"It is about the newest anime."
The man eyes light up.
"Oh what did you guys cooked up this time?"
And didn't that just trough Hiroshi for a loop. The elemental nations had a weird, as in really weird level of technologies. Like they had computers but there were not for public use, but for shinobi research purposes only.
They had some sort of tv but it was for internal surveillance systems only.
They had theaters for plays and cinema as form of entertainment.
Hiroshi didn't try to break the theater hype because in the cultural center in the compound it brought people together.
It was a little crowded, but it was good. And with the computers they developed, the animation tool didn't tetters to came forward.
A lot of people worked together to create them an even more were helping in making more.
The Uzumaki, were kind of jumping the industrial era into the information era. But that was closely accompanied. To avoid people alienating themselves.
And like the One-armed man, a lot of people like and were enamored with anime.
It was weird thinking that he somehow Helped create a cultural trait that was in another natural to the people of Asian descendants. That was kind the elemental nations as a whole.
"So he is a Ronin?"
"Yes it will be Rouroni Kenshin."
"That is a convenient name for a samurai."
"His real name is Shinta. But well..."
The man nodded.
"Stuff happened."
"Stuff happened."
The man rubbed his chin as Hiroshi sipped the tea.
"I will walk by the animation guild and drop something for the sword fights. Those dragon ball combats were ridiculous. I liked the Air bending guy more. They were a little more fluid."
Hiroshi nodded. As the man stood up. And booth went to the entrance as blue appeared smeared with blood and mud, and halted as a deer in highlights.
"I already took a bath today."
Hiroshi jumped after her as she bolted.
"Do you have any idea how much I spent every time I have to send you to the shop to clean up!"
"I was smelling funny!"
"You are not sleeping in the house like that!"
"Abuse! I call abuse!"
"I don't care!"
Hiroshi just fumed running after Blue hearing the one armed man raucous laughter.
"Please come with us as we escort you."
Hirosh blinked at the two men with long straight black hair and coal eyes, with the military police uniform.
"Ah... Of course, officers, may I just announce to my employees I am leaving?"
The man glanced at one another and nodded.
Hiroshi shouted to the back of the store.
"Hime I will be going with the officers!"
A muffled female shouted back.
"Officers? What did you do?"
Hiroshi blinked back at them, staring at him with blank faces.
"I am not quite sure!"
There was a muffled cursing.
"Okay I will close up if you are not back."
He nodded and walked out the store. One of the officers rested a hand on his shoulder and the world blurred for a moment. He blinked and was looking back at the entrance of the police district.
The tow man scored him inside into the chiefs office. As he walked in the two stayed behind and a man he only heard off and never seem stood behind a desk.
The man looked up at with coal eyes, and Hiroshi noted the dark ring under his eyes.
The man seemed to scrutinize him for a moment before gesturing for a seat in front of his desk as he finished whatever he was writing.
Hiroshi looked around, a few pictures, a few certificates. He was not sure what that was about. HE felt a little headache when he tried to focus on them.
The man hummed and Hioroshi brought his attention back to him.
"You are Ikamuzu Hiroshi…"
The man blinked once and he could swear his eyes flashed red for a moment.
"Have we met before?"
Hiroshi blinked at him.
"Not that I am aware of."
There was a curious hum.
"Ikamuzu Hiroshi, I was approached by a very curious fellow. The self intitled, Head of Cultural affairs. As far as I know Konoha don't have such a title."
Hiroshi blinked at the man.
"We have it in our little community, area 36A2."
The man nodded humming.
"He was curious about my clan history and even brough up a scrip of a play."
Hiroshi blinked at the man as the silence stretched.
"Yes."
The man blinked owlish at him for a moment and rubbed his eyes for a moment cursing something under his breath.
"What I want to know is why?"
"Well, he is very good at screen writing and recently with the cultural center opening in Konoha he really have a space to shine..."
"That is not what I meant!"
The man roared and Hiroshi glued to the back of the seat. The man signed and took a deep breath.
"What I meant is why are you instigating this?"
Hiroshi blinked at him.
"Because people are hurting and when they are hurting it is hard for them to remember what is right and good. And the funding of Konoha, I think it will help them to remember a little bit of more facts then rumors."
The man stared at him unblinking. It was unnerving and something seemed to uncoil inside of him. And in the softest of softest of whispers.
Hiroshi thought he heard a thank you.
The man stood up and looked out of his window.
"I will send the diaries at Madara's close advisors and brother at the time for the writer."
The man turned back at Hirashi.
"I don't believe I have to empress the importance of these documents."
Hiroshi blinked at him for a moment, looking up to the ceiling and looking back at him.
"Could we hire a small Uchiha escort for the documents withing Little Uzu?"
The man blinked at him. As Hiroshi shrugged.
"We are not shinobi, if one tries to infiltrate and steal, or sneak peek at them I don't believe we can do much about it."
The man gave the blankest stare Hiroshi ever saw, it made him feel like an idiot. After a moment, the man nodded.
"I believe we can come to an agreement."
