*I still don't own Pokemon or Total Drama!*
"Last time on Total Drama Island, twenty three campers have signed up to spend eight weeks at this crummy old summer camp then have to face the judgement of their fellow campers. In an extreme game of Hide-n'-Go-Boom, the campers raced to prevent being the first ones eliminated by a gargantuan explosion of paint. There were plenty of tags, lots of battles with various Pokemon, but absolutely no tagbacks. In the end it was Ezekiel and his Magneton that got themselves eliminated because of Ezekiel's sexist comments. And as a gnarly reward from our local champion, Owen was gifted with a Mega Stone and Keystone for his Manectric for being the one to have a fake paint bomb that Ash had switched the real bomb with. If that ain't a great prize, I don't know what is! But now, it's time for their first real challenge on the island!"
"It's our first official challenge, how hard could it be?" DJ asked.
It wasn't long before the campers found themselves standing at the top of a thousand foot tall cliff.
"I did not sign up for this!" exclaimed Gwen.
Of Sharpedo and Hot Tubs
"Before we get started, has anybody seen Ash?" Chris asked as the campers looked down from the edge of the cliff.
"I'm right here, Chris!"
Ash ran up to the group wearing only a pair of black swim trunks with red and orange flame designs, which really caught the attention of certain ladies in the group. It turns out Ash is built very well. His muscles were hard, toned, and strong from years of traveling different regions of the Pokemon world, but unlike some of the guys here who have muscles built more for showing off, Ash's muscles are clearly built for fighting. While some of the girls like Gwen, Bridgette, Heather, Lindsay, Katie, Izzy, and Courtney found themselves blushing at the sight of Ash's toned muscles and several other guys like Trent, and Harold were looking jealous at their fellow dude's masculine build, some of the guys like DJ, Duncan, and Justin were actually impressed. They know it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to get muscles like those.
But what puzzled and slightly worried everyone were the various scars on certain parts of Ash's body. They weren't quite vivid enough to be considered fresh, but many of them were jagged suggesting that they healed without help.
"Sorry I'm late, Chris. I was switching my bed out with Gwen's." Ash said with a sheepish smile.
Chris just smiled and waved him off as he said "No problem-o, dude. That's perfectly fine. Time for the first official challenge of the season! Good news for everyone is that since we already had an elimination with Ezekiel, this challenge is a reward."
Everyone sighed in relief that they didn't have to vote off any team members just yet. Eliminating Ezekiel was good enough for them. Ash looked over at Gwen and noted that she was wearing a simple black bikini that consisted of a top that almost resembled a tube top, and a pair of black spats.
"I like your suit, Gwen. It looks nice on you." Ash said with an honest smile.
"Oh, thanks Ash. Yours looks good on you, too." Gwen replied with a smile and blush.
Much to Trent's displeasure.
"Okay, campers, this challenge is three-fold. You will each be jumping off of this one thousand foot high cliff into the lake. However, to prevent any possible unfair advantages, your Pokemon must remain behind and wait for you." Chris explained.
"Piece of cake!" said Bridgette.
Being a surfer herself, she's no stranger to performing high dives. Especially when she's with her trusty Gyarados. And all of the campers could agree with the 'leave your Pokemon on the shore' rule. Don't want anyone to have any unfair advantages this early in the game.
"If you look down you will see two target areas. The wider area represents the part of the lake that we have stocked with psychotic, ravenous Sharpedo!" Chris explained further with a chuckle.
And the camera backed up this claim as a Sharpedo leapt out of the water before diving back in.
"Inside that area is a safezone. That's your target area, which we're pretty sure is Sharpedo free."
"Excuse me?" questioned Leshawna.
"For each member of your team that jumps and actually survives, there will be a crate of supplies waiting below." Chris explained further as if he didn't hear Leshawna. "Inside those crates are supplies that you'll need for the second part of the challenge: building a hot tub. The team with the best one gets to have a wicked hot tub party tonight, while the losers, although safe from elimination, will get nothing. Let's see… Killer Bass, you'll go first."
Bridgette sighed nervously as she looked down before glancing back at the rest of her team.
"Oh, wow! So who wants to go first?" she asked.
All was silent. It was clear that nobody wanted to be the first to take the plunge.
"Hey, don't sweat it, guys. I heard these shows make the interns do the stunt first to make sure it's survivable." Owen said, more trying to reassure himself than the others.
Flashback…
"We need to test the stunts first. You know that." Chris said.
He and Chef were at the top of the cliff some time before the competitors had arrived at the island. Chef was dressed in his swim trunks, goggles, and an inner tube as they got ready to test this particular stunt.
"Do I look like an intern?" Chef asked, clearly annoyed.
"No, but the ones we had are all in the hospital. Come on, just jump it you big chicken! Buck, buck, bawk!" taunted Chris.
"I don't get paid enough for this, man." muttered Chef as he pulled his goggles over his eyes.
Chef jumped and screamed the whole way down. Unfortunately, Chef unknowingly landed outside of the safe zone. As he surfaced, he caught his breath as he smiled believing that he was safe.
"Hey, I made it! I made it, man! I…" that's when Chef felt something and started to panic. "Sumthin' just brushed by my foot! Hey, Chris man, somethin' ain't right down here!"
He was suddenly pulled out of the water, but quickly resurfaced in a frenzy of fear.
"AAAAAHH! DOWN, BOY! AAH!" screamed Chef as he ran back to the shore Flintstones style.
Back up at the top of the cliff, Chris wrote some notes on a clipboard.
"Well, that seems safe enough."
Flashback End…
"So, who's up?" Eva asked.
"Ladies first." Duncan said.
But before this argument could continue on, or Bridgette could do anything, a loud cry caught everyone's attention.
"LEROOOOOOOOY JENKIIIIIIINS!"
Ash suddenly sped past Bridgette and dove off the cliff. He screamed with excitement from the adrenaline rush as he fell to the water below. Like an arrow sailing through the sky, he stayed straight and true as he hit the water right in the safe zone and scored a point for the Screaming Gophers. Even though it was the Killer Bass' turn. Ash shook the water from his hair as he waved at the others.
"Dude! That was awesome!" Chris exclaimed with a grin.
Even the Sharpedo were clapping their fins at the fantastic dive and held up score cards that they got from… somewhere… showing that Ash scored perfect 10's all around.
"Come on, guys! It's easy!" he called.
"He's right. It's no big deal, just an insane cliff dive into a circle of angry Sharpedo." Bridgette said before taking the plunge.
She dove with perfect form and landed in the safe zone right next to Ash. As she resurfaced, a dingy pulled up to take them both to shore in relative safety from the Sharpedo.
"Nice form, Bridgette." Ash complimented.
"Thanks, Ash. It's really no big deal when you're a surfer." Bridgette said with a blush.
"She did it! Yeah! YEAH! I'm next!" whooped Tyler.
The clumsy jock took a running start and jumped off the cliff, yelling a great big 'Cowabunga!' in excitement as he dove down. But he did not have a very good landing as he didn't even look where he was going, and with a resounding 'clang' he hit one of the buoys that made up the ring of the safe zone. Ash and Bridgette winced in sympathy knowing that that had to hurt as Tyler groaned in pain and slid into the water before being helped into the boat.
At least he landed in the safe zone.
The next to take the plunge was Geoff who cried out in excitement like the party animal he obviously is. Then it was Eva who screamed "Look out below!" as she plummeted into the safe zone. After that, Duncan took the plunge and just silently fell with his arms crossed as he looked uninterested in the challenge. Even though all three of them made it into the safe zone, DJ didn't move from his spot at the top of the cliff as he looked down at the water below.
"Uh-uh! No way, man! I'm not jumpin'!" DJ said, fear evident in his voice.
"Scared of heights?" Chris asked.
"Yeah, ever since I was a kid." DJ replied.
"That's okay, big guy." Chris said 'caringly'. "Unfortunately, that also makes you a chicken. So you'll have to wear this for the rest of the day."
"Aw, man! For real?" DJ asked after a chicken hat was put on his head.
Chris just made mocking clucking sounds before gesturing to a nearby escalator with his thumb. (Though why and how they got a down escalator that goes all the way up a thousand foot high cliff is beyond me.)
"That means the chicken path down is that-a-way." Chris said. "Next!"
DJ just silently took the escalator down to the shore, feeling ashamed at chickening out like he did. And also slightly embarrassed at having to wear a chicken hat all day. At first, Beth was too scared to jump, but she decided to take the plunge anyway. She screamed in fear the whole way down and ended up hitting a part of the cliff that was jutting out, which caused her to spin like a wheel all the way down and almost lose her glasses, but she thankfully landed in the safe zone. She felt much better when she resurfaced and found her fellow teammates cheering for her despite her less than graceful dive. Feeling his own confidence boosted by that display, Harold was the next one to jump and he made it into the safe zone, but…
*KLANG!*
Since he jumped while doing the splits, the laws of physics caused him to literally hit the surface of the water and stay there as his nuts took heavy damage. Everyone winced in sympathy as the scrawny nerd screamed in agony. Even the Sharpedos winced and hissed in sympathy as Harold grabbed his groin from the pain and finally sunk into the water.
"Ohhh, hate to see that happen!" Chris snarked with a grin.
Even if he too wouldn't really wish such a thing on anyone.
(Confession: Ash)
"Not so fun fact, getting hit in the crotch hurts almost, if not just as bad, for girls as it does for guys. A friend of mine from the Sinnoh region told me that herself, as she found that out the hard way. Although, she didn't really need to tell me. I was there when it happened." Ash said as he cringed at the memory. "Never forget the most important rule of diving feet first, viewers. Always keep your legs straight when you hit the water."
(End Confession)
"Excuse me, Chris, I have a medical condition." Courtney said.
"What condition?" Chris asked, not having seen anything about a serious medical condition in her file.
"A condition that prevents me from jumping off cliffs." Courtney replied.
Chris merely gave a smirk as he saw right through her ruse. She was just scared of jumping off the cliff after seeing what happened to Harold. Don't get him wrong, he doesn't blame her for wanting to avoid getting hit in the crotch like that, but he still thinks she's a chicken for faking a medical condition to avoid jumping.
"You can chicken out if you want to, but it may end up costing your team the win. And then they'll hate you." Chris said while examining his nails.
"It's a calculated risk. I've seen the other team, and I don't think nine of them will jump." Courtney said.
To which certain members of the Screaming Gophers took offense to that statement.
(Confession: Lindsay and Mawile)
Both trainer and Pokemon looked at the camera with understandably pissed off looks from Courtney's statement, as she had essentially called their team a bunch of chickens.
"So not cool, Courtney!" exclaimed Lindsay.
"Ma Mawile!" nodded Mawile.
(End Confession)
"Alright. Here is your chicken hat." Chris said as he put the hat on Courtney. "So! Let's talley up the results. Hold on… that's seven jumpers and two chickens. We're missing one."
Turns out Katie and Sadie were incredibly stubborn when it came to being together on the same team. They begged Chris to let them be on the same team until Izzy agreed to switch teams with Katie, much to Chris's relief. And so, with that out of the way the two girls jumped at the same time and made it into the safe zone.
"Okay, so that's nine jumpers and two chickens. Screaming Gophers, if you can beat that we'll throw in a pull-cart to put your crates on." Chris announced as he upped the ante a bit. "Ash jumped earlier so you already have one jumper on your score."
"Nice! Okay, guys, who's up first?" Trent asked.
It was silent as the Screaming Gophers seemed to be debating who would go first. At least until Heather spoke up.
"I'm sorry. There's no way I'm doing this."
"Why not?" Izzy asked.
"Hello, national TV! I'll get my hair wet!" Heather exclaimed like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"You're kidding, right?" Gwen asked.
"If she's not doing it, I'm not doing it." Lindsay said.
The two girls smiled at each other in response to that. Lindsay because she thought that she had just gotten on Heather's good side, and Heather because this just showed that Lindsay is more of a follower than a leader. But Leshawna? She wasn't having any of it.
"Oh, you're doin' it."
"Says who?" Heather demanded with a glare.
"Says me! I'm not losing this challenge 'cause you got your hair dead, you spoiled little daddy's girl!" Leshawna said as she glared back.
And their remaining teammates wisely backed up to avoid getting caught up in the inevitable cat fight that was about to ensue. And I'm not talking about a fight between feline Pokemon or actual cats.
"Back off, ghetto glamor, too tight pants wearing, rap star wannabe!" snapped Heather.
"Mall shoppin', ponytail wearin', teen girl readin', peekin' at high school prom queen!" Leshawna snapped right back.
Heather merely smirked and said "Well at least I'm popular.
And THAT, ladies, gentlemen, and those of unspecified gender, is the straw that broke the Camerupt's back as the rest of the Screaming Gophers, with the exceptions of Justin and Ash, knew that things were about to get ugly. And they were right as Leshawna and Heather got right up in each other's faces, glaring the whole time.
"You're jumpin'!" exclaimed Leshawna.
"Make me!" Heather exclaimed back.
But this was probably a big mistake on her part as Leshawna quite literally lifted her up over her head and threw her off the cliff. Heather screamed the whole way down but thankfully landed in the safe zone. She spat out water as she surfaced and glared back up at the top of the cliff.
"Leshawna! You are so dead!" Heather growled.
"Hey, I threw you into the safe zone, didn't I?" Leshawna shouted down, evidently hearing Heather's angry remark. "Now I just hope I can hit it, too."
With that, she closed her eyes and jumped off the cliff screaming the whole way down just like Heather did. And just like Hether, she too landed in the safe zone. As the two got onto the dingy that would bring them back to shore, they vaguely heard Lindsay say something about having thought it was going to be a talent contest. Right before the beautiful blonde also dove off the cliff. Followed by Gwen, Cody, and Izzy, with the orange haired girl cackling like a crazy hyena all the way down.
As Lindsay reached the shore she rushed off the boat and started running towards the others. At first, Tyler thought that Lindsay was running to hug him, but was confused when she ran past him and instead threw her arms around Ash. She was laughing with a great big smile on her beautiful face and grew even happier as Ash gently returned the hug. She did blush a little as she felt his rock hard muscles from the hug, but managed to keep it together.
"Did you see me, Ash? I totally just jumped from a thousand foot high cliff into the lake!" Lindsay exclaimed in joy.
Ash chuckled and said "Yeah, I saw. That was awesome, Lindsay!"
"And it was all thanks to you, Ash!" Lindsay said as she broke the hug. "At first I was really scared to jump, but when I saw you dive into the water like that it gave me the courage to jump also! Thank you, Ash!"
Ash told her it was no biggie as he scratched the back of his head sheepishly. All the while, Tyler looked on with some jealousy that Lindsay was paying more attention to this guy than she was to him. In his eyes a hot blonde chick like Lindsay should be with an athletic jock like himself. But it didn't seem like this was meant to be.
But that was when the Screaming Gophers saw that one of their own, Justin, dove off the cliff and landed outside of the safe zone! Everyone on the boat quickly urged him to swim to safety as two Sharpedo started closing in on him. He turned to face them and as they went in for the kill, they stopped as they finally got a good look at Justin. The two were immediately smitten by Justin and his flawless good looks, and ceased their attack as they instead gave him a ride to shore on their backs. Much to the astonishment of almost everyone on both teams.
"I'm sorry, but there is no way I'm jumping this." Noah said as Chris put a chicken hat on him.
The book smart boy just ignored the jeers and chicken clucks of his fellow competitors. Namely coming from Leshawna and Cody.
"That is, like, so lame. Right?" Lindsay asked Heather.
"Fully lame!" Heather replied.
Back up on the cliff, Owen was looking mighty nervous as he gave Trent a high five before the teen jumped off the cliff and landed in the safe zone, thus scoring another point for the Gophers.
"Alright campers, there's only one person left! You guys need this jump for the win!" Chris said into his megaphone before facing Owen. "No pressure, dude."
Owen relaxed for a brief moment…
"Okay, I lied! There's pressure!" Chris suddenly exclaimed.
...And Owen was once again nervous. His fellow Gophers cheered him on from the shore as they encouraged him to jump. Even though Heather pretty much demanded that he do so. The large boy tightened his water wings, closed his eyes and took a few calming breaths as he tried to steady his nerves.
"Oh, I was pretty damn nervous."
(Confession Cam: Owen)
"See, the thing is I'm not that strong a swimmer." Owen said.
(Confession Cam: Geoff)
"I'm looking at this guy and thinking there's no way he's gonna make it!" Geoff said, voicing his thoughts.
(Confession Cam: Gwen)
"I actually thought if he jumps this… he's gonna die." Gwen said simply.
(Confession Cam: Ash)
Ash sat there smiling before saying "I had a feeling that Owen was gonna jump. It might not have looked like it to the others, but when you've traveled to various regions of the Pokemon world like I have, you learn not to underestimate anyone."
(End Confession)
"Take a good run at it buddy. You can do this." Chris 'encouraged' as Owen took a few steps back.
"I'm going to die now. I'm going to frickin' die now!" exclaimed Owen.
Everyone from both teams watched in anticipation as Owen stood at the top of the cliff. It all came down to whether he would take the plunge or not. They didn't have to wait too long as Owen released a war cry as he ran and jumped off of the cliff.
But on the way down, his fear finally sunk in.
"OHHH, CRAAAAAAA-HAA-HAA-HAAAAAP!" screamed Owen.
He screamed all the way down as he plummeted like an atom bomb towards the water. And when he made contact, he did a bellyflop so big that it caused a huge wave which washed over the shore and sent everyone back. Even the dingy was sent careening onto the sand. Nobody was hurt, thankfully, but they were all pretty shocked that one guy could cause a splash that big from jumping off a cliff. And the Sharpedo were pretty shaken up from the experience. Especially the one Sharpedo that somehow ended up in a tree from that splash. And as for Owen?
"YES! YEAH! Oh yeah, baby! Who's da man!" cheered Owen.
Everyone from the Screaming Gophers cheered as well, because they knew that with Owen's jump, they won the first part of the challenge.
"The winners! The Screaming Gophers!" announced Chris.
"Nice job out there, big guy!" Ash congratulated before he noticed that Owen seemed to be looking for something. "What's wrong?"
"I, uh… think I lost my bathing suit." replied Owen.
Naturally, this drew various noises of disgust from the rest of the campers. And for good reason. There are some things people just don't need to see.
(Later…)
Once everyone had taken some time to change out of their beach gear and back into their regular clothes, all thanks to some portable changing rooms, the Screaming Gophers were loading up their crates onto the pull cart they won. Unfortunately, it appeared as though there wouldn't be enough room for all of their crates so some would need to be carried by hand.
"Here, Gwen. Let me take that one for you." Ash said as he volunteered to help her.
"Are you sure? I mean, not that I don't appreciate the offer, but you're already carrying a crate of your own. Can you handle carrying two at once?" Gwen asked.
In response to this, Ash just adjusted the crate he was holding so he was holding it with one arm before picking up Gwen's crate and carrying them both on his shoulders. Much to the surprise of Gwen and the other's at how strong Ash is. Looks like those muscles of his weren't just for show.
"No biggie. Come on, let's get back to camp." Ash said.
Thanks to Ash's strength and the pull cart that the Screaming Gophers won in the challenge they got back to camp in record time. Their Pokemon had been there waiting for them to return, which was good for the fire types as they had been safe from Owen's Tsunami Splash attack. But then came the hard part of the second part of the challenge. Getting the crates open. How was this hard, you may be wondering?
"Remember, you can only open these crates using nothing more than your mouths. I came up with that one." Chris bragged.
That's how.
Izzy managed to get her crate open by pulling the rope with her teeth, but got rope burn on her tongue in the process. After some time all of the crates were opened and the Gophers were looking to see just what kind of supplies they had. Owen was pleasantly surprised to have gotten some wood, likely meant to build the frame of the hot tub, while Trent ended up getting some tools and what appeared to be a pool liner. And as Leshawna was looking in her crate to see just what she got, she was confronted by Heather who was accompanied by Lindsay.
"I just want to say I didn't mean bad about you being a 'Ghetto Glamor, Rap star Wannabe', and I love your earrings. They're so pretty." Heather said.
"Straight up?" Leshawna asked with a smile. "Well… I'm sorry about pushing you over the cliff and all."
"No worries, I needed a push. Truce?" Heather asked.
"Yeah, yeah, you got it." Leshawna agreed.
The two shared a fistbump before going their separate ways. But as Heather and Lindsay walked away the blonde beauty felt the need to confront the dark haired girl about what was just said in that exchange.
"Did you mean all that stuff you said about LaFonda back there?" Lindsay asked, getting the name wrong.
"Leshawna? No. She's going down." Heather replied. "And P.S., those are the ugliest earrings I've seen in my life."
"Oh…" Lindsay said in realization. "So if you hate her why were you being nice to her?"
"You ever seen one of these shows before? Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer." Heather replied.
Lindsay made a noise of understanding before nervously asking "I'm your friend, right?"
To which Heather replied with "Oh, yeah. For now."
As Heather walked away and left a rather nervous Lindsay behind, the two were completely unaware of the fact that Ash had caught their conversation due to his Aura enhanced hearing. He looked in their direction in concern as he could only hope that he could intervene before it was too late.
(Confession Cam: Ash)
"I can't allow Heather to go down such a self-destructive path like she's doing! I know it's a reality show and stuff like this is to be expected, but there's more to Heather's behavior than she's letting on. I can feel it in my bones." Ash said. "If I can help her, maybe I can prevent her from making the same mistakes an old friend of mine did when we were little kids."
(End Confession)
Eventually, the Killer Bass made it back to camp, which was a lot harder for them as a majority of them had to push their crates along.
Except for Eva due to her own incredible strength.
However, Katie and Sadie ended up getting left behind due to sitting on poison ivy when they went into the woods to… do their business.
"Ohhh, what happened to your eye, girl?" Leshawna asked as she took notice of Courtney's eye.
Said eye had swelled up for some reason or another, and Courtney did not want anyone to draw attention to it. She was quick to cover it with her hand.
"Oh, nothing! Just an allergy.." she said as she tried to downplay the severity of the possible infection.
"I think it's getting worse." Harold commented.
"Don't tell them that!" hissed Courtney.
She was surprised to see Ash approaching her and putting a hand on her eye. Before she could ask what he was doing his hand began to faintly glow with a calming blue light. Courtney could feel the ailment in her eye fading away as whatever was happening was healing her. After about thirty seconds, give or take a minute, the glow faded and Ash removed his hand to reveal that Courtney's eye had been completely healed. She was astounded by what just happened. And she wasn't the only one.
"Is that better?" Ash asked.
Courtney blinked a few times before replying "Yeah… it feels better. A lot better, actually! How'd you do that?"
"I'll tell you after the challenge is over. For now, both of our teams have hot tubs to build." Ash said.
Courtney nodded in acceptance. That sounded fair.
But soon enough it all came down to both teams building their hot tubs, which had varying results. While the Gophers had excellent cooperation with each other and seemed to know what they were doing, the Bass seemed to be spending more of their time and every fighting each other than building their hot tub. Justin and Lindsay worked together to build the wooden frame of their hot tub, but Geoff and Harold's haphazardly put together frame fell apart on them. Quite easily in fact.
Heather handed Trent their team's hammer which he used to hammer a nail into one of the wooden boards to secure it in place. Duncan and Tyler, however, started fighting over the hammer instead of working with each other. After a few seconds they fell on their back and the hammer went flying, hitting Harold right in the nuts! (Dude just can't catch a break, can he?) But that pain was only temporary as Bridgette, who had knelt down to grab a wooden plank and thus avoided getting hit, soon unknowingly hit Harold in the chin before klonking him on the head and knocking him out. (HA! I found this to be both painful and hilarious when I first saw this episode!)
Finally, the Screaming Gophers formed a chain to get the water they needed to fill their hot tub. Noah started at the lake where he scooped up some of the fresh water into a bucket. Then he handed it to Ash who passed it to Cody, then to Justin, and finally to Gwen who poured the water into the hot tub. Unfortunately for the Bass, while they did manage to fill their hot tub with water it turned out leaky and was barely being held together by strips of duct tape. Definitely not the prettiest hot tub anyone has ever seen.
Soon enough it was time to judge the two hot tubs. Chris walked over to the gophers' hot tub and began his inspection. Both teams were understandably nervous, however the Screaming Gophers were a little more confident in their own creation. After about a minute, Chris smiled and gave his report.
"This is an awesome hot tub!" exclaimed Chris.
The Screaming Gophers lightly celebrated their job well done. Though Owen was a bit more enthusiastic than the rest as he popped up out of the hot tub itself, apparently, having been submerged under the water. But the Killer Bass gasped when their turn came. As Chris looked at the sorry excuse for a luxury item with scrutiny he could see many flaws. Most notably how a seagull was floating in the water which wasn't even heating up. He knelt down and tapped the tub with his finger before water sprayed out and splashed him in the face. Standing back up, Chris and everyone else watched as the Killer Bass's hot tub finally crumbled to pieces.
She just could not take the pressure, laddie.
"Well, I think we have a winner here." Chris said. "The Screaming Gophers!"
Having been announced the victors of this challenge, the Screaming Gophers started cheering, laughing, hugging each other and just being plain happy that they won.
"Gophers, since this was a reward challenge you have just earned yourselves a wicked hot tub party tonight! Plus you get to rock this awesome hot tub for the rest of the summer! Bonus!" exclaimed Chris.
Much to the joy of the Screaming Gophers and the disappointment of the Killer Bass.
"Killer Bass, what can I say? It sucks to be you right now." Chris said. "The good news is you're not sending anyone home tonight. The bad news is that since you lost, you guys get no hot tub party tonight."
With that, everyone left to either prepare for the hot tub party, or in the case of the Killer Bass, to lick their wounds from losing the challenge.
(Confession Cam: Gwen)
"Yeah, this camp pretty much still stinks. But since I'm here I guess I should try to go all the way." Gwen said.
(End Confession)
The Screaming Gophers relaxed and just over all were having a good time as they enjoyed their hot tub party. Gwen, Lindsay and Heather were also not so discreetly enjoying the eye candy that was Ash Ketchum and his rock hard muscles. Even Justin, who was one of the most well built men on the island, silently admitted that it looked like you could grind meat on Ash's abs.
No homo.
They were all feeling pretty confident in themselves after their win against the Killer Bass, and the girls felt so much better without that sexist homeschooled boy, Ezekiel, around to degrade them with his outdated beliefs that women can't fend for themselves. Sure, most of them wanted to win the $100,000 themselves, but for now they would enjoy what time they had with their teammates and make whatever friends they could.
And as for Ash? Well, there's a lot in store for our resident champion of Kalos. Just what will happen? Stay tuned to find out on Total… Drama… Island!
