At the island's interior, Indom and Tyrant met up with several other army officers and admirers as a Gallimimus pushed in an elderly Deinonychus named Roosevelt on a wheel-chair.
"Please be seated, everyone." He said.
They all sat down.
"I'm afraid I'm in a mad mood." Roosevelt said. "West and Northern region are asking me what I'm asking you. How long is Sauro going to pretend the world is not at war?"
"We've increased food and oil shipments, Mr. President and as far as I know..." A Speed Stinger said.
"What they really need are tanks, planes, bullets, bombs, and others to fight." Roosevelt said. "But our nation think Chrysalis and her Changeling thugs are the mainland's problem. We have to do more. Send the pterosaurs and dragons more of our scouts and anti-aircraft weapons."
"And keep cannibalizing the Saurian Fleet?" An admiral Velociraptor said.
"What choice do we have?" Roosevelt said. "We're building radios while our enemies could be building bombs."
"I'm afraid he's right." Indom said. "Chrysalis tried to take us out once, how long will it be before something worse happens?
Thousands of miles to the far north, on the mainland of Equestria, Chrysalis is in the middle of a gathering with several other Changelings.
"War is inevitable." Chrysalis said. "To hide this fact is death. Those dinosaur creatures think they could mess with us... Blow our best chance to defeat our enemies, perhaps we should teach what happen when they mess with Changelings completely. There is only 1 way. A massive, sudden strike."
"You see us capable of such a blow?" A Changeling questioned.
"We were able to do that at Canterlot, so we can do it again." Chrysalis said. "We will annihilate their Saurian Fleet in a single attack... at Saurian Harbor."
Back on Isla Sauro, the island's most northern military base was busy as usually as several ships gathered in the waters of Saurian Harbor.
One of it's boats just arriving, Evelyn and her friends were on it's deck.
"This is so exciting." Evelyn said.
"You know there's about a hundred ships on Saurian." Sandra said.
On a ship near them, some sailors waved out to them.
"How many sailors per ship?" Betty asked.
"It depends." Sandra said. "There's more on a battleship than a sub. But say, on average... 2,000?"
"Everything included the flyers, the marines, base personnel." Barbara said.
"I'm still working on the sailors." Betty said.
"Girls, I think the odds are in their favor." Evelyn said.
"Yeah, like 4,000 to one." Martha said.
"It's paradise." Betty said.
Whistling was heard as the sailors continued waving out to them.
"See you on the beach, boys!" Barbara called out.
Betty then laughed.
Elsewhere on Saurian's airfields, it was business as usually as a Skrill flies by.
"Hey!" A Dromaeosaurus named Earl with a hat said. "You know you're supposed to paint odd stuff on the side of my airships." He said to a lemur painting something. "And if you do, don't make 'em lopsided."
"Hey, they were lopsided, Earl." A Coelophysis named Gooz said working on a surfboard.
"Look, it says right here." A Dramillion said named Joe looking through a book. "'Never ride waves amongst rocks or submerged pilots'". See, it says you shouldn't do that."
"Well, how do you gonna know they're submerged if they're submerged?" Gooz inquired.
"Hey, Gooz, what in the heck are you doing?" Earl asked.
"Just trying to fix his surfboard thing of his." Joe said as Gooz worked on the fin. "He keeps taking chunks off his nose on the rocks."
"Hey, coming on my day off, I'm working on my new invention... the Gooz Cruise Fin." Gooz said. "I'm gonna be a rich fella. Every surfboard in the nation's gonna need one."
"Yeah? Well, you're gonna need a broom." Earl said.
Joe then saw Danny and the others walking over to them after they recently arrived.
"Check out these new recruits." Joe said.
They turned to them.
"Hi." Danny greeted.
"Alo-ha." Earl saluted.
"Y'all pilots?" Danny asked.
Earl then turns to Gooz.
"Uh, we're working on it." Gooz said. "It's a lot of switches and stuff."
Danny stared at him.
Gooz then chuckled. "Pride of the Pacific." He said.
"Who are you?" Earl asked.
"Terrors of the skies." Danny said.
Elsewhere in Saurian, Evelyn and her friends arrived at a hospital.
"Welcome, ladies." A Velociraptor greeted.
"Hi." Barbara, Martha, Sandra and Evelyn greeted.
"Hi." Betty greeted.
"I have to deal with toasty sun burnt guy before I can show you around." The Velociraptor tending a Stygimoloch with a bad sunburn on his back.
Evelyn and her friends then giggled.
Then a smack was heard.
"Ow!" The Stygimoloch yelped in pain.
At the northern island chain, Toothless quickly soars through chasing down a Changeling scout.
After dealing with them, he and the other dragons of the Squadron flew back to base.
The next day, he right behind a Changeling.
"I'm right on his tail!" Toothless said.
Toothless soon closes in, and then fires a blast taking the Changeling out as he twirls around.
"Got one!" Toothless yelled.
A few days later, Rafe was writing a letter to Evelyn as Toothless was busy writing one to his friends.
"Family?" The Baryonyx asked.
Rafe turns to him.
"Girl, sir." Rafe said. "The girl."
"A lot of people frown on the Yanks for not being in this war yet." The Baryonyx said. "I'd just like to say if there are many more back home like you Saur help anyone who goes to war with Sauro."
He then patted Rafe's shoulder, and heads off.
Back at Saurian Harbor, on one of it's ships, a lemur chimes a bell as sailors stood shoulder-to-shoulder.
"Atten-hut!" An officer said. "Attention the deck! Admiral Kimmel, Commander-in-Chief, Saurian Fleet, on deck."
"Sharp presentation, Captain. "Kimmel said as he was a Utahraptor.
"Thank you, Admiral Kimmel." The Captain who was a Dracorex said.
"For 4 months now Sauro's been blowing pink smoke about the threat from the Changelings." Kimmel said. "Could make us lose our fighting edge. I'm determined not to let that happen."
A distant ship horn blows as 2 Velociraptors appeared as they turn to them.
"With your permission, Captain." One of them said. "Admiral, urgent, from Sauro." He hands him a file.
Kimmel looks through the file, and soon shook his head.
"I'm supposed to keep this fleet battle-ready to take on the Changelings... cover half the darn ocean." Kimmel said. "Now they want to transfer another 12 destroyers to the Saurlantic. Don't they know what we're facing out here?"
"They feel like the northern island chain is the greater danger." A Velociraptor said.
"I'm assuming these risk assessments include Sauro?" Kimmel said.
"Well, Saurian Harbor, is too shallow for an aerial torpedo attack." The Velociraptor said. "We're surrounded by sub nets. All we need to worry about is sabotage... so we bunched our airships together to make them easier to protect. Distance is our ally, Admiral."
"You analysts got it all figured out, don't you?" Kimmel said. "The smart enemy hits you exactly where you think you're safe."
Meanwhile, at the Changeling Kingdom, Chrysalis and her army were going over the battle plan as model ships floated in a pool of water. Using as much information they got from surviving scouts that made it back.
They even had a map of the Harbor itself.
"From a Saurian sightseeing airship, I was able to photograph battleship row and the many airbases." A Changeling said.
"Look at the ships - all grouped." Another Changeling said to Chrysalis. "Perfect targets."
Chrysalis chuckled. "It's like they're playing right into our hooves." She smugly said. "What else do you have?"
They then showed 3 torpedoes they made from blueprints they managed to salvaged from their first attack.
"We have fixed these torpedoes to allow for Saurian Harbor." The Changeling said.
Another Changeling placed a wooden fin structure on the torpedo's back and locks it in place.
"Wooden fins - this makes the torpedoes able to travel through the shallow harbor." A Changeling said.
Chrysalis nodded with acceptation. "Impressive. When Saurian Harbor is still asleep in the morning mist, we will attack with full force."
Meanwhile, unaware that a full-scale invasion is being planned, it was business as usually at the northern island chain.
Then, a lemur turns a handle announcing an air raid siren.
"Incoming!" A Peteinosaurus yelled.
And members quickly rushed around shouting as the dragons quickly got ready.
Soon, Toothless and several others flew out towards the coast.
"Changelings dead ahead." Toothless said spotting a group of 10 Changelings. "Let's drop in and give 'em a reception."
The squadron of dragons begin to close in.
"Red Two, follow my lead, high side." Toothless said. "Go right at the lead Changeling."
"Following you, Red One." A Skrill said.
The dragons begin to break off into attack formation.
The Skrill dives in and fires a blast near the lead Changeling.
"Good hit! Good hit!" Toothless said.
Toothless then begins to get into position.
"Red One, coming around, reset for the kill." Toothless said.
Toothless begins to close in on one of them.
"I have the middle Changeling." Toothless said.
Toothless then begins to dive towards his target and fired a blast when close enough, and lands a direct hit as the Changeling falls through the air.
Soon, Toothless locks onto 2 other Changelings.
"I got 2 Changelings dead ahead." Toothless said.
Toothless chased after them.
"I'm on him." Toothless said. "I'm on his tail."
Soon he was close enough, and Toothless fired a blast at the Changeling closest to him.
"I got one of them!" Toothless said.
Toothless soon went after the second Changeling and lands a blast on it as he hits the water.
"I got another one." Toothless cheered.
"Red One, you got Changelings all over your tail!" The Skrill said.
Toothless soon saw he was in trouble as a Changeling chased after him and fires multiple rapid green beams trying to hit him.
"I'm under fire!" Toothless said. "I'm taking fire!"
Toothless then flew faster trying to shake him, but the Changeling was hot on his tail.
"Red One, get out of there." A Nadder said. "Pull up! Pull up!"
Toothless tries to throw him off with a sharp turn, but the Changeling fires rapid beams at him, and soon a few hit his left wing.
"I'm hit!" Toothless yelled. "I'm hit!"
Toothless then struggled to fly straight with a busted wing as he started to fall.
"Oh, no." Toothless said.
He then tries to straighten and level out as then then hits the water.
Back at Saurian, unaware of had happened, Evelyn was with her friends as they were walking. And nearby, Echo, Delta and Charlie were catching up with Blue and Jay was they were now together for nearly 5 years, and now have a daughter they named Blue Jr as she looked so much like her mother. They still work with Tyrant and Indom, and are only needing with important monthly gatherings.
"I got to inventory supplies." Evelyn said walking off.
"Kill me now." Martha said. "Could you be any more boring?"
"Don't bother." Betty said. "Sunday, she writes to Rafe... 10 pages instead of the usual 5."
Barbara then sighed. "Gosh, I wish I was in love."
"Welcome to my world." Blue said.
Then a honk was heard as a 4-wheeled vehicle appeared and parked near them as in it was Anthony and Red.
"Hey, sweetheart." Anthony greeted Sandra with a smile and winked.
Sandra gave him a dry wave.
"She hates me." Anthony gritted his teeth.
Betty then went over and smiled. "Good to see you, Red." She said.
"Good to see you, too, Betty." Red smiled. "What're you doing? You wanna come for a ride?"
Betty then nodded.
"Come on." Red said climbing to the back.
"Yeah, I'll be your chauffeur." Anthony muttered.
At the Harbor's battleship row, on one of it's ships, dinosaurs and dragons cheered as a boxing match was going on. Between a Gallimimus named Dorie, and a Pachycephalosaurus.
Soon, Gooz and Danny appeared as they watched.
The fight continues as Dorie strikes 2 punches on the Pachycephalosaur.
"That-a-boy! Be a mad dog!" An Ornithomimus cheered.
"You hit pretty hard... for a cook." The Pachycephalosaurus said.
He then twirls striking his tail hard at Dorie knocking him back.
"All right, Walker, who you got?" Gooz asked. "Come in, find tomorrow rum."
"I'll take the cook." Danny said.
"Why? You don't like money?" Gooz frowned.
The Pachycephalosaurus continues attacking Dorie as he was knocked back to the side.
"Come on!" The Ornithomimus said. "Get out there now!"
Dorie then ducked as the Pachycephalosaurus attempts to strike but missed as several members quickly ducked and exclaimed.
"I'll put 5 on it." Danny said making a bet.
"Done." Gooz said settling it.
The Pachycephalosaurus strikes a hit on Dorie as he was knocked back.
"Against a mechanic?" Gooz said. "That guy eats rivets."
"How's it feel when coming up from the engine room?" Dorie asked. "Sunlight botherin' you?"
The Pachycephalosaurus then strikes a hit at Dorie.
"Ow." Dorie said.
The Pachycephalosaurus then uppercuts him.
"Man, he's getting all busted up!" The Ornithomimus said.
The Pachycephalosaurus lands another strike on Dorie.
"Move! Move!" Gooz cheered.
Then a bell ring was heard.
"Come here, we gotta talk." The Ornithomimus said. "Get down here."
Dorie went up to him as a Deinocheirus pours some water over Dorie.
"He can't hurt us." The Ornithomimus said.
"He can hurt us." Dorie said. "He cut us. We bleeding."
"Bleeding?!" The Ornithomimus said in disbelief and placed a finger on a cut above Dorie's eye and tasted it. "That's a scratch! Now you see this here?" He held out a bag of money. "This is the hard-earned greenbacks every pot-scrubbin' dish-washin' chop in this here fleet. Now if we don't win. The teeny here has to find himself another battleship! There's no way, I'm gonna back to the Apato empty-handed."
"Don't worry about the money." Dorie said. "I'mma send that smug engine-fixin' snipe back below decks where he belongs."
The bell then rings as Dorie heads back out.
"Come on, now, we the man!" The Ornithomimus said. "You the man! He slapped your mama, remember?! Be a son of a gun!"
The Pachycephalosaurus attempts to strike at Dorie, but missed as he ducked. And then Dorie lands a couple of punches on the Pachycephalosaur and looks he was gaining the upper hand.
"Look at this!" Danny cheered. "All right, Dorie!"
Dorie then land a hard punch on the Pachycephalosaurs as he was knocked back as Danny cheered as well as the Ornithomimus.
The Pachycephalosaurus soon regains his senses as Dorie was ready, and then he punches him again and struck a hard one at him as he stumbled.
"That's enough." A Camptosaurus referee said. "That's enough!"
Then, the Pachycephalosaurus drops flat on the deck as everyone cheered and a bell ring was heard.
"Oh, ho, ho! Where's my money?" Danny said turning to Gooz.
"Nah, fight's ragged." Gooz said.
"We're rich!" The Ornithomimus said and kissed the bag and laughed.
After the fight, Dorie was at Evelyn's office to have the scratch tended.
"How'd you get this?" Evelyn asked.
"Boxing." Dorie said.
"Did you win?" Evelyn asked.
"Yes, ma'am." Dorie answered.
"And what do you get for winning?" Evelyn asked cutting the last long piece of stitch.
"Respect." Dorie said.
After finishing, they headed outside.
"So, why do you have to fight with your fists to get respect?" Evelyn asked.
"I left my momma in the interior and join the Navy to see the world... become a man." Dorie said. "They made me a cook. Not even that. I clean up after other sailors eat. 2 years, they never even let me fire a weapon."
"Well, let's hope you never have to." Evelyn said.
"Yes, ma'am." Dorie said placing his hat on.
"You take care, Petty Officer Miller." Evelyn said.
"You, too, ma'am." Dorie said and heads off.
He was soon gone, and then Danny appeared but with a concern look.
And Evelyn knew something was wrong.
Later, everyone gathered at a bar as it started raining as they learnt of news of Toothless being shot down, and all communication access to the northern island chain has been lost. Likely due to damage from Changeling attacks, and Toothless is sadly presumed dead and they don't know how the others there are doing.
Danny then pours a glass by a photo of Toothless as everyone was all sad as he was a great friend to them.
"To Toothless Fury." Danny said. "The best flyer and the best friend I ever knew... or ever will know." He then held a glass of drink up. "To Toothless." He then drinks his glass.
Everyone else drank theirs as well.
