AN1: Guys these stories that seem more like one-shots take a lot more effort to write. I only have broad strokes on what I want to do with the plot. Sorry to the few people who actually read this story in particular but since I am not that big of a Star Wars fan (for example I like the sequel trilogy and am okay with them deleting the EU and labelling it as Legends) it is hard to plot that far in advance.
I know these threads SEEM random and they kinda are but I am intentionally leaving gaps for the possibility to fill in later. Not sure if I mention this but this Naruto looks 'about 19-20' (even through he is obviously older).
I am going to add this to my ANS: Should I make a discord? Is it easy to do?
Chapter 3 Confronting the Past
Despite not truly being 'there' Yami and Hikari who were known as the 'Son' and 'Daughter respectively still shone with the glow of their living self. Yami still retained his pale skin and red eyes while the Daughter still shone with light and green eyes.
"Hello our Vessel." Yami told Naruto with a smirk his eyes shining with amusement that grew when both his sister and Naruto frowned at him.
"Not Vessel. Partner." Naruto told him with a pout as Yami snorted and chuckled.
"Semantics really. Just like that beast inside of you we cannot exist outside of you manifesting our powers." Yami remarked as Naruto eyes turned to slits and his whiskers became thicker. AN2:
"Grr. Quiet you dead Force being." Kurama growled in his deeper voice as he briefly swapped control with Naruto.
Yami gave him a huge mocking smile as he stood up to look at Kurama in the eyes.
"Oh? Did I hurt that little beast little feelings?" Yami mocked as Kurama narrowed his eyes gritting his teeth.
Just as Kurama and Yami were about to exchange blows Hikari stood up and walked in between them.
"Enough! That is quite enough!" Hikari shouted as her eyes glowed as light shone brighter in warning.
Kurama and Yami stared at her before they separately looked away. Kurama crossed his arms and frowned before Naruto blue eyes returned and his whiskers returned to normal length. Yami scoffed but sat down as Hikari light returned to its normal brightness as she calmed down.
"Did you enjoy your talk?" Naruto asked calmly as he stretched his arms as Yami merely rolled his eyes.
"If only our Father knew about you. The true person to inherit both sides of the Force in perfect symmetry. Much more then him who feared loss and became consumed by the Darkness." Yami mused as he gave Naruto a curious look while Hikari gave him a warm smile.
Naruto scoffed biting his lip in annoyance.
"Tch. I still don't believe in whatever stupid prophecy they believe in. I still believe that people can choose what they want to do and it has nothing to do with such arbitrary lines such as light and darkness." Naruto told them flatly although his expression did show he was worried.
"Neither Light nor Darkness can exist without the other. Just like Yang and Yin." Hikari and Yami chanted together before they nodded to Naruto. Then they vanished in a burst of darkness and light respectively as Naruto looked on sombrely.
"Just like me and them." Naruto whispered as he gently rubbed his lightsabers one in each hand. His eyes were rather sad with remembrance before he placed his lightsabers back on his waist.
Meanwhile in Coruscant in unknown location
"You fool!" Sidous in his full Sith personality active and not his 'merciful' Emperor Persona yelled at his apprentice.
Sidous had shot stream and stream of Force Lightning at Lord Vader who was on his knees groaning in pain.
"You not only failed to get the location of the rebellion; you were stupid enough to use this power in your condition?!" Sidous hissed shooting another Force Lightning to stress his point.
"Master please." Vader groaned as he coughed in pain.
"Using this power, yourself nearly caused your armour to fail. Let's not forget this lesson, shall we?" Sidous asked rhetorically as he used the Force to lift Vader helplessly in the air. AN3:
Vader struggled as his Master superior control of the Force made him as helpless as a Padawn was to a Jedi Master in power. For several minutes Sidous refused to let his hand go down from its held position as he glared in contempt of the so called 'Chosen One'.
Sidous then flicked his wrist as Vader slammed into the wall from the Force Push as he slid down the wall and slumped to the ground.
"So weak. If only I had gotten him to be my side the galaxy would be under my control by now without these mistakes." Sidous said spitefully as Vader groaned and got up.
"Master I promise you I will get this under control." Vader promised as Sidous scoffed.
"Do not underestimate the Lost Master my apprentice. His power and skills far surpass your own." Sidous told him with a sigh.
Vader raised his head and crossed his arms. "Master you overestimate him. He left that order before the Clone Wars ended. His skills must have deteriorated by now." Vader insisted as Sidous scoffed.
"You do not know this but when Naruto Uzumaki was judged as a traitor, he was sentenced to death not exile." Sidous revealed as Vader under his mask eyes widened.
"What? The Jedi were going to execute a Jedi Master?" Vader asked skeptically as he would be first to admit the Jedi Council would be reluctant to kill a Jedi openly.
Sidous gave a chuckle as he walked slowly as Vader walked behind his master. "I managed to convince the Council that his pacifist methods would eventually convince sympathetic worlds to join the Separatists to rebel." Sidous told Vader as he looked in remembrance.
"Of course, they were not okay with it but Master Uzumaki openly disagreeing with the military approach of the War eventually convinced that fool Mace Windu and then the rest that 'was the best for the Republic". Sidous mocked as Vader eyes narrowed.
"I could not see him being okay with killing or sacrificing Uzumaki. He loved him as brother." Vader commented as his fist clenched. AN4:
'Much more then he ever loved me.' Vader thought spitefully as their final confrontation played in his head only it showed Kenobi as hating him.
"You mean your old Master? Master Kenobi?" Sidous asked smiling when he saw Vader shake in anger.
"…." Vader refused to respond although Sidous smirk showed he could sense the contempt and hatred at the name of his Former Jedi Master.
"Well Lord Vader. Master Kenobi was not told of certain meetings and let's say Master Uzumaki had a shocking meeting with the Jedi Council." Sidous said with a wide evil smile.
"Of course, Master Kenobi was never told of the particulars of Master Uzumaki trial but as you can guess he would have never been okay with a trial of Naruto Uzumaki." Sidous mused as Vader nodded his head stoically.
"Anyways. Master Uzumaki was brought to the Jedi Council in shackles which his good nature refused to resist even as his own Clone trooper stunned him." Sidous said smugly as Vader did not appear to affected.
"The council with me there told him he was a traitor and 'for the good of the Republic' we could not have another Count Dooku arise. We 'reluctantly' decreed for the death of Master Uzumaki to be carried on the spot by Lightsaber while he was on his knees." Sidous said in remembrance smiling when he remembered the resignation and disgust of the Jedi Master as the rest of council looked on with indifference.
"You know what he told the council as his final words?" Sidous asked Vader who shook his head.
"I hate you?" Vader guessed as anyone Jedi or not could not help but feel resentment for this sort of treatment.
"He said 'I am glad I can die not as a Jedi but someone who is free.'" Sidous revealed as Vader eyes widened behind his mask.
"However, he somehow exhibited powers unprecedented even I was shocked when he escaped the room without killing a single person. We never heard from him again until now." Sidous remarked bitterly but with a hint of respect in his voice.
Vader was silent for a moment as he looked away before turning back to his Sith Master.
"So, the whole 'Master Uzumaki went on a secret mission to find Younglings and was killed by Count Dooku' was just a lie?" Vader asked as he clenched his fist for a moment.
"But of course. The Jedi was still in the beginning of the war. We needed them to still have the support of the people. Hearing a Jedi Master was killed without a trial from the Senate would have made the people turn against the Jedi much quicker than I wanted them to." Sidous revealed with a sigh before a smile appeared on his face. AN5:
"However, a Jedi Master killed by the 'evil' Count Dooku while he was helping the republic? Master Uzumaki became a martyr and the wat continued on under my careful supervision." Sidous revealed with a smile and he gave a dry chuckle as he turned another little mishap to a victory for himself.
Vader clenched his fists as he narrowed his eyes.
'So, all of us are nothing then your pawns huh?' Vader thought as he glanced at his Master.
Back with Naruto and the Rebels
After he looked down at his feet knowing Yami and Hikari were with him he sighed.
"I guess I might as see Obi. It has been too long and he does deserve to know I didn't die like the Chancellor probably told him." Naruto mused he walked out of his room with his hooded robe on but not with the hood up yet.
He walked to Ahsoka's room and knocked.
He could hear annoyed grunts from Ahsoka as she got up and went to the door.
"Who is it?" Ahsoka annoyed tone was heard as Naruto held back a massive grin.
"Hey. Is that the tone you went to set for us today Soka?" Naruto teased as he could hear Ahsoka grumble underneath her voice.
"Come in, your crybaby." Ahsoka mocked but with a clear affectionate tone as Naruto smiled. The door was opened as she stepped aside letting Naruto walk into her private quarters.
"So, what is it? Got some new mission you have to go on?" Ahsoka inquired crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow as Naruto shrugged.
"Not exactly. More of a personal request." Naruto admitted as Ahsoka looked intrigued.
"Oh? You usually don't do anything personal." Ahsoka noted before she leaned in to look deeper into Naruto's blue eyes.
"What's so important that Master Uzumaki would come see me personally instead of HQ?" Ahsoka teased but her smile lessened when she saw Naruto sad smile.
"I am off to see him. Do you want to tag along?" Naruto asked Ahsoka who sighed and shook her head.
"No thanks." Ahsoka said flatly as Naruto sighed.
"Soka." Naruto said as Ahsoka glared at him.
"No means no. I have no intention of seeing let alone talking to that Jedi." Ahsoka told him bluntly as Naruto leaned against the wall.
"You might not know this but Obi actually was against charging you as a regular Republic citizen and not a Jedi." Naruto told her softly as Ahsoka eyes widened but she still frowned.
"What of it? I still was considered a traitor and guilty while he and everyone else stood aside and watched." Ahsoka retorted as Naruto nodded.
"True but Obi was overruled by the majority and had no choice but to keep silent despite knowing you were innocent." Naruto explained as Ahsoka looked at the ground and then away.
"Not now." Ahsoka whispered as Naruto nodded.
"Okay. Next time then." Naruto said as he walked out and the door closed behind him.
He was about to walk to his ship but then he was interrupted by Kanan. Ezra and Ghost Squad.
"Yes?" Naruto asked them politely but with a hint of impatience.
To his surprise Kanan bowed and Ezra but Naruto noticed the latter with much more reluctance.
"Please Master Uzumaki. Teach us more about the Force." Kanan asked as Naruto frowned and crossed his arms.
"First I am not a Jedi so stop calling me Master. And Second I am not your Master or teacher so it won't help if I teach you." Naruto told them as the group looked shocked at him.
Ezra was in particular not pleased.
"Hey! We are begging for your help and you are blowing us off?" Ezra asked rather indignant much to Kanan and Hera's disapproval. Zeb was looking between Ezra and Naruto with notable amazement Chopper appeared to be chuckling in Droid language. Sabine held her smile but nodded slightly in approval.
"And? For a Master and Apprentice relationship to work well you need trust and understand. Clearly we don't have that here." Naruto pointed out as Ezra basically proving his point.
And you already have a Master so I would not be much help." Naruto insisted as he pointed Kanan who looked rather sheepish.
"I am still a Padawan unfit to train my own Padawan." Kanan said with shame as Naruto raised his eyebrow.
"Really? From what I have seen you are easily a Jedi Knight in my books." Naruto remarked as he turned and started to walk away.
"Its none of my business but I think someone like you would be the best match for little Ezra." Naruto said not looking back at the stunned Ghost Squad.
He walked for a bit before he got to his personal ship. He nodded to the maintenance droid who beeped at him as he slid into his ship.
"Well off to where he is." Naruto said as he out in the coordinates for Tatooine into his ships navigation system and he activated the Hyperdrive as his ship jumped to Hyperspace and vanished.
AN2: For people who actually follow Boruto (specifically the manga) when he refers to 'Vessel' it does not mean they will or can take over his body.
AN3: I got a few reviews about Vader armour apparently (not said in the movies just saying) not working with the Force Lightning. So, in this one its apparent Vader was being rash and it actually harmed him.
AN4: I know I said Naruto was 'banished' in the first year of the Clone Wars and I know somebody will claim "Wait! Obi Wan was not a Jedi Master yet! He would not be part of the council!". I can say nobody (as far as I know) knows EXACTLY when he became a Jedi Master. So, in my story he was part of the Council but he was not part of the discussion due his friendship with Naruto. (So, he wasn't known and lied to essentially)
AN5: Sidous wanted a Jedi who was too powerful and not controllable killed but with him in self exile he worked it out so Naruto 'death' became another war cry to manipulate the Republic against the Separatists.
