Her own mission

A few weeks after this training, the third shinobi world war broke out and everything Hajita could remember of that time was a blur. She had to say goodbye to her parents in a hurry even before her little brother was born. In order to keep his only daughter alive, Minato saw no other way but to send her away with princess Tsunade. He ordered the slug princess to protect Hajita and train her the best she could. When Tsunade-sama later on told her the news that both her parents had died in that war, Hajita had cried for days.

All of that was now 12 years ago. And even though many things had changed since then, others had remained the same. Tsunade had started drinking and gambling since Hajita's 13th birthday. She really tried for the first years to teach Hajita as best as she could, but the sadness about her own losses someday won over and Hajita didn't blame her. Not one day had gone by when she herself hadn't thought about her family. But somehow, she still had managed to stay the hard-working, ever-so-focused girl with the teasing humour she had inherited from her father. Yet Hajita was not a child anymore. After years of hard training, she had accomplished her goal and fulfilled her dream to become an Iryonin. Tsunade-sama had nothing left to teach her. She even had found herself a new girl, Shizune. In contrast to Hajita, she was not so much her apprentice as her servant. She simply put up with all of Tsunade's excesses and never said a word against her behaviour. It seemed as if that was what the legendary sannin princess needed more than Hajita's constant chiding and appeals to morality. Maybe it was just the fact she saw too much of her hometown in Hajita and was thus constantly reminded of all the sad things she wanted to forget. Whatever it was, Hajita knew it was time for her to not dwell on the past anymore like her former sensei did but to move on and go her own way. And she already knew where that path would take her first. To Konoha and to her little brother Naruto.

She said her goodbyes to Tsunade-sama and told her for the last time to not gamble away all of her money. She promised her previous teacher that she would take care of herself and told her, that the next time they would see each other again, she would be proud of the woman she would have become. When preparing for her upcoming journey, Hajita decided to travel fast but hidden and stay in the trees for as long as she could. She had heard that a group called Akatsuki was causing more and more trouble and found it better to be safe than sorry.

After 2 days of travelling, she finally was close to reaching her hometown and started to think about how she should approach her little brother. That's when she heard fighting sounds. In an instant she stopped and focused on the area the noise had come from. She could sense four chakras, two of which seemed oddly familiar to her. She furrowed her brows, squeezed her eyes, and hopped from tree to tree as quietly as possible in order to get closer and see what was going on.
