"No..."
"Oh, come on Velms..."
"No! I can't believe you are asking that!"
"...Just this once?"
"No means no! Daphne! Get over here and tell me I'm right!"

Hollering for reinforcements from Bruce's lap in the Mystery Inc Living room, Velma tried to recruit the other woman to help back her up for her side of the conversation. Velma was trying to put her foot down, but it was hard when she was being cuddled. Hoping that Daphne intervening would help her win her wavering argument with her boyfriend.

"What are you two lovebirds griping about now?"

Coming around the corner, Daphne came at the summons. To find the pair on the couch. What once was a strange sight for the red head, was becoming old hat as Velma had converted the large man into a cuddle fiend behind close doors and outside the view of the public. It may have been the true face behind either of his masks, but after decades of his playboy façade, it still a bit of an adjustment.

"Daphnnnnneeeeee..." Bruce whined, tossing her a pitiful look from over Velma's head. Keeping his hands wrapped around her and still snuggling as he pleaded his side of the argument.

"Velma won't let me eat a Scooby snack!"

"Excuse me for thinking about your image here." Velma snorted, wiggling in his lap to use her shoulder to lightly bump him to add to her side of the argument. Doing her best in her situation to protest, and enjoy the quality time as well as being as 'difficult 'as the pair seemed to get.

"Back me up Daph! Wouldn't it be really bad for him to be seen eating a Scooby snack? He is 'The' Bruce Wayne, after all. He has an image to uphold, even if he has been slacking lately."

"Your fault."

"Oh, Shush you. True as that may be, Daphne is deciding."

While the pair bantered, Daphne was taking in the information. Placing a hand to her chin, Daphne was thinking it over. Shifting her head so that her hair fell with the tilt as she took in the two sides of the problem before her. Considering the pairs clashing opinions on the issue at hand. And what to do about the problem in question.

But honestly, Daphne only saw one solution to the whole thing.

"So. I say let him have some!"

"Thank you for agreeing with... Wait, What!?" Thinking that the red head would side with her best friend, Velma was thrown off when Daphne went against what she has been expecting. Tipping the scales away from her favor.

"Alright!" Whooped Bruce, getting another on his side. He figured that both Scooby and Shaggy would be mostly willing to share, so they had the majority vote now. And well, Bruce doubted Fred would be against it either. Since Fred was cool and all.

"What do you mean, 'let him?' Daphne! I thought you were on my side!" Velma tried her best to be protesting and huffy. But Bruce still had a grip on her as she was tucked into his lap. Trying to sulk as best as she could with him being happy and clinging. And it was still too early to want to break from the cuddles.

Not even losing her argument was worth that at the moment.

"Well, look at it like this. Wouldn't it be great for us to get Bruce Wayne's approval for Scooby Snacks?" Daphne reasoned, tipping a pointed finger to the sky with her thoughts. Hand open to offer her line of thinking to the pair.

"With his recommendation, maybe we could install Scooby Snack stalls on every corner of Gotham! Being able to finally compete with those Roasted Nut stalls, breakfast goods, and maybe even go against the giants in the hotdog and pizza vendors!" Said the business woman in Daphne. More then willing to let Bruce's optics help her for them to sell even more Scooby Snacks! Not that Blake Bubbles really needed the extra publicity to sell the beloved Snacks. As they also had the Mascot under the roof as well.

But well, it was never a bad thing to do even BETTER business.

"I think the tourism sector would be willing to work out a deal with Blake Bubbles over some corners, depending on the flavors that Scooby Snacks offers. And if it can cater to the different diets. I know Shaggy is Vegetarian, and he eats them all the time. So, I figure you guys probably also have like gluten free options as well, right? And any other allergies and such."

"Well, yeah. Got to cover all the bases. Broader audience, better chance to get someone to like it. As well as it's originally dog treats." Daphne pointed out. "Gotham does also seem to have a decent apartment life for their canine friends. So, great to have snacks on the walks. Maybe set up for doggy samples but mention that they are people friendly as well. Backed by Wayne Enterprise, and Mystery Inc."

"I mean, between Bruce and Scooby, we have a broad audience right there."

"Great... Just plastering his face all over more things. Just what I need." Pouted the jealous girlfriend. Ignoring that the man in mention, was perfectly content to be sitting in the homely living room in suburbia in the middle of no where Ohio. Wrapped around his girlfriend and just chilling on the couch together. Compared to being in the limelight.

Though, if he was beside her, he didn't mind that either. Having become quite clingy to being around her, and not wanting to be very far unless he had too. Mainly due to either of their work.

"I mean, If I am going to be putting my face with the product, I would obviously need to do some RIGOROUS testing to make sure the product is good."

"Well, it is the smartest thing to do, as a company head." Daphne reasoned. "Need to make sure it passes the grade."

"Ugh! Fine, fine. I give up. You can try a Scooby snack." Velma sighed into the arm that was wrapped around her shoulders, squishing her face to one side of him to admit defeat. It was too hard to go up against Bruce when he had Daphne's full support behind him. A downside to her best friend and her stupidly reasonable business sense. How dare she use logic against her.

"But if Alfred or Mr. Fox say no. I get the right to say, I told you so." Velma had to relent.

"Daphne, would you please do me a favor, and get me some Scooby Snacks? I would, but as you can see... I have my hands full at the moment." Bruce said from around Velma, resting his head next to her slightly pouting one.

"Oh yes. Can do. You certainly have to make sure to pay careful attention. Prone to sulking in dark places, that one."

"Har har"

"Be right back." Daphne said with a wave, disappearing behind the hallway she had come out of earlier.

"Good Best Friend you got there." Bruce chirped happily from his cuddling. Velma shifted her head to lean against him. Sighing again in defeat, letting him get his way again.

"Very true. She is the best. But..." Velma voiced up a slight worry. "...You might regret that. Daphne doesn't forget when someone owes her a favor."

"Oh, well... I'll deal with that when it comes." Bruce wasn't sure what she could ask for that he might be worried about. "But for now, I have you here and getting snacks delivered. Pretty good day, so far."
