Chapter 3: Birth of a Trio

A few years have passed. A 8 year old Izuku continued going to Gunhead Martial Arts dojo, where he continued to grow with his aura abilities. He soon discovered he had been able to sense others around him. There were also the occasional training sessions with Inko. She helped him practice one of his moves which was derived from her which Izuku dubbed Force Palm. As the training progressed, Izuku started to learn more and more ways to use his aura. He learned he could create barriers with his aura.

To make matters greater for young Izuku, his mother began dating Toshinori after a few years passed. The two of them have gotten close over the last few years and Inko had seen how Toshinori was acting like a father to Izuku. The two of them decided then and there, to become an item.

2 years earlier….

Toshinori was helping Inko put away dishes while Izuku was getting himself ready for bed. The two of them looked at each other when the other wasn't looking, and blushing at the same time. Toshinori was the first to break the ice.

"So Inko, I was wondering…" he started, "Perhaps when you aren't busy with herowork or anything. Would you wanna…. I dunno, do something together, just the two of us?"

Inko turned her attention to Toshinori.

"What do you mean?" Inko asked.

"What I mean is…. Do you wanna go on a date with me?" He explained. Before turning away with a huge blush on his face.

Inko couldn't believe it. Her friend from school had just asked her out on a date. Inko smiled. How could she not. She then approached Toshinori and kissed him on his cheek.

"I'd love to go on a date with you," Inko said with a smile.

Izuku was watching everything from upstairs. He had a big smile knowing that his mom might have finally found love.

Meanwhile Shoto had a few lessons with Touya. At first Shoto had a bit of trouble controlling the quirk, but as the days went on, he got a better handle on it.

Afterwards, Inko took Izuku shopping to celebrate his future coming together. The young boy was doing some martial arts moves, as he was excited to get started. His nose caught a whiff of something. There was smoke. The two of them looked to see a building on fire.

"Somebody call the fire department or something!" Shouted someone, "HELP!"

Inko went to him.

"Is anybody in that building?" she asked

"We think there's a little girl and her parents in there!" the person said.

Hearing this, Izuku knew somebody was in danger. He wanted to do what he could to help, even though he had no idea as far as how his quirk worked. He rushed into the building head first while grabbing a breathing mask. As Inko was about to change into her costume, she saw Izuku running in.

"IZUKU! NOOOOO!"

The inside of the building was full of fire. He looked around to find the little girl and her parents. He heard a voice from inside.

"Mommy… Daddy….."

It sounded like a little girl around his age. Izuku followed the sound of the voice until he came into a room. He saw a girl with permanent blush cheeks. The young girl looked at Izuku with his mask on.

"Who are you?" she asked.

"I'm a regular little kid like you," Izuku said as he took off his mask, "Come on, we'll find your parents together."

She looked at him for a few seconds, and believed she could trust him. The two of them started to run away from the danger. Izuku heard noises again. His eyes then started to glow a light green. He saw two people behind a wall. He knew he had to save them. He clenched his fist tight ready for a punch channeling it with aura to increase the power. He released the punch knocking it down in a single blow. It was the little girl's parents.

"Mommy, Daddy!" the little girl said.

"Give me your hand!" He said, "I'll get you all out!"

"Its too late for us," the girl's mom said, "We're too trapped to get out."

"Then I'll move the stuff out of the way," Izuku told them, "I can't just leave you here!"

"There's no time," the girl's dad said.

"But daddy," the little girl said, "What about what I said? I wanna help you and Mommy and work for you!"

Her dad rubbed her head.

"That's sweet of you, but it's best if my baby girl makes her own dreams come true," he said, "I know my little girl will be a great hero one day!"

She knew he was right. She started to pull Izuku away from the flames.

"You have to run," the girl's mom said.

"No, I won't let you die!" Izuku said.

"There's no time," The little girl said.

She pulled Izuku back before he was injured. Inko was worried about her son's safety. She was praying that her son would still be ok. Izuku and the little girl kept running out of the building looking for an exit. Some debris was falling towards them. Izuku put his hands up in an effort to protect the both of them, but a gust of wind blew the debris away.

As they kept running, part of the ground fell. Izuku was falling…. Or so he thought. He was floating. He looked up to the little girl whose hands were glowing a bit.

"It's my quirk," she said, "It allows me to make things weightless."

They started running again. The building started to collapse and explode. Inko looked away, believing her son was dead. A door was blown away. Izuku had made it out safe and sound, while still holding the little girl's hands. After getting her to an ambulance, he went back to his mother. Tears started to foam in his eyes.

"Mom…. I'm sorry," he said, "I know I shouldn't have done that, but I just couldn't turn my back on someone in trouble. I know you're mad at me."

Inko took a minute to process what just happened. She was worried about her son going into a burning building, but she was even more amazed at the courage he had to run in there and save somebody.

"How could I be mad?" Inko asked as she hugged the boy, "I'm proud. But just don't make a habit of this ok?"

Izuku smiled and said, "Yes Mom."

A fireman approached the boy.

"You got guts kid," he said.

A few days later there was a funeral for the girl's parents. Afterwards, Izuku went to the grave of the parents of the little girl. He bowed in respect and made a promise that he would protect her and make her happy no matter what. As he turned around he saw the girl that he saved.

"I wanna say thank you for saving me," she said to him, "I know you must feel guilty that you weren't able to save my parents, but you were able to save my life. I will never forget that. My name is Ochako Uraraka, but you can call me Ochako."

"And I'm Izuku Midoriya," Izuku said, introducing himself with a smile.

"Well from here on, we're going to be very best friends and be the best heroes ever," Ochako said.

Ochako approached the boy and gave him a hug, one he graciously returned.

Since the day they met, Izuku and Ochako have formed a strong bond with each other. Ochako had gotten along well with Todoroki as well, and they made a pack. Together they would become the next big three heroes. Ochako has also been adopted by Gunhead, as he saw a great drive in her to be a hero.

The last day of Middle School was happening. Everyone was in class, while Ochako sat next to Izuku.

"So I'm going to hand you all your career forms about what you plan to do in the future," the teacher said, "But…. I doubt that's necessary cause I can tell what your plans are. You all wanna be heroes right?!"

The whole class cheered as soon as he said that.

"We have three students that are planning to go to U.A," the teacher said, "Midoriya, Todoroki and Uraraka."

"There's no way we can beat those two," one of the students said, "Midoriya is basically a mini Lucario, only his aura is green!"

"Not to mention Todoroki," said another student, "He can use fire AND ice! He'll be a force to be reckoned with."

"Come on guys, sure I have a cool quirk but I'm not THAT great," Izuku said.

"Don't sell yourself short Izuku," Shoto told him, "But if you're going to U.A, then we're gonna be rivals. Don't hold back."

Izuku had become a popular student in middle school for 2 reasons. The first of which is his quirk, and the second being the son of a pro hero. He made sure that Ochako got equal treatment since they've been best friends. Shoto was also there to take care of the crowd if things got out of hand, especially with bullies.

Today was the anniversary of Toshinori and Inko's wedding, and Izuku and Ochako were tasked with bringing the cake. While Ochako went to the bakery, Izuku grabbed some things from home. He decided to meet Shoto and Ochako at the square so they could walk home together.

As he was walking to the square he decided to take a shortcut home through the bridge. As he continued walking, he heard some strange noises. His eyes started to glow and he sensed that someone was behind him.

"Finally, a good meat suit!" the strange creature said.

It was a creature made completely out of sludge. It was looking for a host in order to escape a specific Pro Hero's grasp. It noticed Izuku's quirk and thought it could be useful.

"I think this will be easy for both of us if you hold still and let me take over," it said, "I won't kill you, I'm just planning to take over for a minute. Thanks for this. You're a real hero to me."

Izuku had aura channeled up in his hands. He shot two aura spheres at the monster pushing it back.

"I can keep this up forever," he thought to himself, "Or at least until help arrives!"

Just as he was about to strike, he saw a manhole cover being forced up. The monster turned around and saw none other than….. All Might.

"Everything's ok citizen," he said, "You're safe now, because I am here."

The sludge monster turned around ready to take on All Might. All Might brought his fist back and channeled up for a strong punch.

"Texas… SMAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!" All Might saaid.

His punch was so strong, it emitted a shockwave, which turned the monster into bits and pieces. Seeing this as an opportunity, Izuku took an empty bottle and started collecting the pieces, trapping the monster. All Might noticed this.

"Perfect! Now he's captured," All Might said.

Izuku looked to see All Might in the living flesh. He was amazed to see his idol right in front of him.

"Ohmygodallmightimsuchahugefanitssuchanhonortomeetyouinperson!" Izuku said in his usual muttered voice.

All Might gave him a thumbs up.

"Its always a pleasure to have fans in my corner," he said, "My apologies for getting you wrapped up in this."

"Oh no problem sir," Izuku said, "Oh right, I gotta get something for you to sign."

He remembered his notebook and decided to grab it. However it already had All Might's signature.

"Oh man this is so cool!" Izuku said, "Hey can I ask you a question before you go sir?"

"Of course," All Might said, "Its the least I can do for your help earlier. Actually, might I ask what your quirk is in return?"

"Well…. Its kind of a strange question to ask but…" Izuku started, "Is it possible to become the No 1 hero with my ability?"

"What is your ability?" All Might asked.

"Well I have something called Aura Manipulation," Izuku explained, "I can make aura weapons, I can sense people around me, and I can shoot aura spheres at enemies. I can also channel it around me to make myself a little bit stronger."

All Might thought for a minute.

"You might be able to. You have a high chance of success at that," All Might said.

"Thank you sir," Izuku said.

"Well I shall see you in the future young man," All Might said.

With that he jumped off. Izuku had a smile on his face, having complete satisfaction with All Might's answer to his question. He started making his way home, excited to tell his two best friends that he met THE All Might.
