The single red eye felt like it was piercing right through Astro's body like a dagger stabbing a human heart. Astro felt completely paralyzed, his body wouldn't listen to any of his commands. The robot, without a word, detached itself from the charging station marching closer and closer then finally it spoke "Intruder detected. Action required." The forearms on the robot converted it into guns "Easy there Terminator! I swears I don't mean to disturb your sleep or whatever. Just put the guns down a-an' maybe we can talk over a pint?" Astro started to crawl backward slowly, but the robot ignored Astro and continued to march forward "My only objective is to get rid of any intruders in the area therefore I am fulfilling my duty." The guns whirred and rotated then suddenly fired. Astro scrambled on the floor like a dog trying to gain traction. The little bot scurried across the room, dodging bullets.
The tall robot relentlessly marched on with its killing intent, it fired wherever Astro was headed. It felt as if Astro just couldn't get away from its deadly sights, Astro ran back into the hallway. Astro instinctively took a left turn to another mysterious hallway. The red lights flickered above and Astro felt the robot's presence, like a white chick in a horror film, Astro ran down that hallway. The clanging of metal grew louder as the robot approached and to Astro's luck, a giant metal door blocked his path.
"No no no! C'mon man, I don't wanna die like this! I wanted to die in a car fire!" Astro banged on the door hopelessly, practically pleading with it while the metal clanging grew louder. Astro finally looked to his left to spot a keypad that he immediately started to press frantically while begging for his life. He pressed every number combination he could think of, but so far no luck Astro ended up banging his head against the keypad. With a stroke of luck the door finally let up and Astro gratefully ran inside without hesitation, he screamed like a little girl at the sight of the robot in the distance. The robot was scanning the area for its target, its head slowly swiveling around… suddenly it stopped as if it was fixated on something, Astro watched while he kept pressing the keypad in hopes it'll close. Like an Olympic runner, the robot took off without warning, it bolted down the hallway towards Astro. The little guy was at the mercy of the door now as it was the only thing that could slow down the robot, Astro lost his patience and punched the keypad causing the heavy door to slam shut.
This particular room was just as strange as the last one, wires from the ceiling hung loose, monitors laid on the floor cracked and severely damaged, the lights were burnt out in some places, and on the wall to the right was "GOD SAVE US" graffitied in red. Astro shook his head to lose focus on the wall, he searched the room for a potential hiding spot, he'd take anything at this point anything that'll save the metal on his back. Meanwhile, on the other side of the door, the robot was standing there just staring at it, without warning it started to punch at the door over and over again. Astro's response to the loud banging was to scream in panic and hurry his search for a hiding spot, he cleared a vent free from any debris and climbed right in. The robot repeatedly bashed the door till it could pry open the door with its might. It scanned the room for any sign of Astro, its forearms turning into guns once again "There's no use in hiding any longer. I have my sights on you." The robot marched towards the vent with guns ready while Astro trembled just thinking about what'll happen to him next. The robot approached the grate and forcefully ripped it out of the wall then without a second wasted Astro was yanked out and tossed aside. Astro felt wetness from a puddle of mysterious liquid and his foot entangled in a loose wire. Astro looked at his executioner right in the eye, but he noticed the wire hanging above.
"Go on do it! I'm not afraid anymore! Just do it, coward!"
"As you wish. Consider pest eliminated."
Astro had to hold himself back from replying to the "pest" comment. The robot marched on with its mission in mind with its guns out. Within a flash of a second, the robot stepped over to Astro while simultaneously Astro shoved the wire into the puddle, shocking them both. Astro's inner-workings felt like they were melting from the inside out, he just hoped this wouldn't completely destroy him. Sparks started to fly, the murderous robot was reduced down to a helpless machine grasping at its head just hoping it'll all stop soon, both robots exploded with sparks flying everywhere sending them both to opposite walls. Both robots shut down before rebooting, after Astro's startup sound he shook his head.
"Holy shit, I can't believe that worked! Ugh, I don't feel good…" He slowly raised himself up weakly and hobbled over to the robot who was still down. Astro kicked the robot in its arm "Take that and that! Bastar- eep!" amid Astro's childish taunting the robot's central eye let out a beep. The interface scanned the surrounding area including Astro as if it was scanning him for the first time. Upon scanning Astro, the interface labeled as "Non-threat. Do not harm." as opposed to the label of "Target." Astro was wary of the robot as it sat up. The robot looked at Astro and simply asked "Who are you…?"
