"Can't you tell us about a time where mom got back at you? All we hear is you insulting her." Mia said crossing her arms, obviously annoyed with his story so far.

All Draco could do was chuckle and not. "Don't worry, I was getting to that. For the most part our third year was without incident, well as much as it could be with how I treated your uncles and mom. Anyway, things came to a head one afternoon when I followed them down to the caretakers hut..."

Draco smiled as he watched the scene playing out before him in his omnioculars. After all the work his dad did to get the big oaf of a caretaker fired, today it was all coming to a head. Earlier in the year, Draco had been viciously attacked by the Hippogriff known as Buckbeak.

So, he decided to get the big oaf fired as he shouldn't have ever gotten a position as a teacher. He had never even graduated. What credentials did he have to teach? Especially a subject about dangerous animals.

Draco told his father what had happened, and his father took it from there. Lucius went to the Ministry and took the concern of the big Oaf teaching and Buckbeak to the Minister of Magic himself. It was good to be from a pureblood family, especially one that was as well known as the Malfoys.

So, the trial happened and Buckbeak was sentenced to death. If it wasn't for Dumbledore, Hagrid would have been sacked also. That old fiik messed a lot up. Considering what happened to Buckbeak that night.

"Hey, they're here." Crabbe said as he tapped on Draco's shoulder.

Draco turned around and smirked as "The Golden Trio" made their way, and fast down to his group.

"Now I'll tell you. Father said... I can keep the hippogriff's head.Ithink I'll donate it to the Gryffindors' room." Draco said loudly as he watched them approach.

"This is going to be rich." He added smirking and elbowing Crabbe. "Look who's here. Come to see the show?" Draco yelled motioning with his hands to the hut behind him where Buckbeak was tied.

His smile faltered as Granger was running up to him. However, it completely faded when she brandished her wand and held it to his throat.

" You! You foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach!" She yelled clearly very angry. He even noticed her nostrils going in and out with her breathing.

"Hermione, no! He's not worth it." Came the panicked voice of the Weasel. He obviously thought that Granger would hex Draco and probably be kicked out of school. Draco knew that she wouldn't risk something like that happening, so he was all that worried. But, there was still that knowledge that Granger could easily hex him into oblivion. He was right also as Granger started taking her wand down and turned away. He had just started to relax when...

SMACK

Her fist connected with his nose and with the force of it, his head snapped backward. She could punch, and his nose felt it. "Malfoy, are you okay? Let's go, quick." Crabbe asked as he pulled on Malfoy's sleeve to pull him away. As they were running away Malfoy spoke, "Not a word to this to anyone, understand?"

He was so angry as they made their way back into the castle. He couldn't believe he let the mudblood touch him, let alone punch him. Who did she think she was? He didn't even do anything to deserve getting punched. Sure, he was gloating, but come on did that really deserve getting punched?

He remembered the look in her face before he was punched and the way her hand holding her wand was shaking. She had been furious. That was obvious. In the time he had known her, Draco knew her to be the rational one between the three. She was always telling the boys to calm down and that Draco wasn't worn getting angry over. Man, how much had he heard he wasn't worth it? He was sick of that. Draco promised himself that he would show everyone he was worth his name and everything that he will get.

"Yes! Mom totally got you good! I would have loved to have seen that one." Mia exclaimed with her fist in the air.

Leo chuckled a little and nodded. "Totally deserved that." He said looking at his father.

Draco grinned a little and nodded. "Yes, I did deserve it, but I didn't think so much back then. I would like to say I learned my lesson, but unfortunately I didn't. We still have a long way to go before I start smartening up. Your mother was always the smarter one in the relationship." He said shrugging a little.

"So, did the hippogriff die?" Leo asked quietly. If the two of his kids, Leo was definitely more like his mother.

"Actually, no. Somehow not only did Buckbeak escape that night but so did Sirius Black who had been in Azkaban until he escaped there. Apparently, he was after Harry Potter and came to Hogwarts that night. But both got away." Draco replied nonchalantly and chuckled a little seeing his kids faces.

"Was that because of mom, Uncle Harry and Ron?" Mia asked.

"Well, probably. I honestly never asked. But it was that night they escaped, so I would assume as much. Your mom and uncles did a lot of stuff while at Hogwarts."

A/n: I went with the movie version of this scene rather than the book, because I like that Hermione punches him rather than slaps.

The next two years will be put into one chapter. As always I ask for your feedback.
