About Sassy

Before I continue, I want to introduce myself. My name is Alexia Dimas, or Sassy for short. My in-ring name is Lexi. I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. I am the youngest of 7; yes, I'm lucky number 7! And I am the only girl in my family. I have 6 older brothers, who are all married and have children.

As the youngest, and only girl, I was always protected, but respected by my brothers. My dad raised us seven kids as a single parent. My mother passed away 3 days after I was born. My dad remarried when I was 13 years old to Rebecca.

I went to school at St. Cristobal's School for the Gifted and Talented. At 16 years old, I graduated high school. At 18 years old, I graduated college with a Master's Degree in Literature, and a Minor in Marketing. Lexi's dream was to be an author one day.

At 17, my last year of college, I was recruited by the WWE. With my parents permission I was allowed to train at OVW, on the weekends. I had made my commitment to WWE to be talent for their company once I graduated from college and turned 18.

Once that happened, I trained at OVW full time and was simultaneously a valet for various WWE Superstars for the first 2 years on Friday Night SmackDown. I loved it! It gave me an opportunity to train and hone in my in-ring skills, while also allowing the WWE Universe to get to know me on camera. I couldn't have asked for a better scenario.

Eventually, I got to show everyone my in-ring ability after those two years when I was traded to Monday Night Raw. I won many championships and had a decorated in-ring career. I became the first and only 12-time Women's Champion. I have posed for the cover of 100s of magazines, made contributions to charities and organizations, appeared on dozens of talk shows, and have been the face of the WWE Women's Division for 10 years.

But, I knew my time was coming to an end. And honestly I was getting bored. I had done everything I ever wanted to do in the ring. I was also missing my family terribly. I wanted something different. At that time, Triple H talked to me about NXT. How it would be where WWE would train their future stars. He wanted me to help train the new talent. He said I would be able to have more days off so I could see my family, but still be involved with the WWE. I agreed, but I wanted a hand at everything: scouting talent, signing them, training, character development, the legal side of it, and even directing shows. Hunter had agreed to my demands. He knew I was capable and knew I had the talent for it all.

Soon enough I had bought my dream home in Florida near the NXT Training Center, training the new talent. I had gone to Australia, Japan, Indy shows to scout new talent. I was also helping talent with things such as how to work the cameras and even creating storylines. I was truly happy with my new position.

But, I was juggling with a very big decision in my mind. The end of my contract was coming up in one year. Sure, one year seems like a long time but, in the WWE world, one year went by in a blink of an eye. And, again, I was getting bored. I was not one to sit around and do the same thing for a really long time. You might say, but you were in-ring talent for 10 years. That's doing the same thing for a long time. True! But, in those 10 years I was a different character. For the first few years I was a babyface, then I was a babyface on a championship run, then I turned heel, then I was a heel with a championship run. I also had very many storylines with many different women. I was evolving all the time. Now at NXT, I haven't accomplished everything. I still had a few goals I wanted to accomplish. But, I know I will accomplish them within the year.

That's why I say this thought of whether or not I'll be resigning with the WWE is a huge decision, one that I don't take lightly.
