Undyne slowly woke back up, lifting her body and stretching out and yawning. As she did this she remembered, today was the day when they departed to the unexplored continent. She yawned some more before she continued to think. They would be traveling by boat because of the fact that the clouds were solid. She really did not want to leave, especially on a boat. She remembered always getting sick on the riverman's boat whenever it tossed and turned. Right now she just wanted the small lizard and skeleton between her arms snuggling. After a moment of stalling with her thoughts she got changed, headed downstairs, and walked outside to the dock near the beach.

As she walked onto the dock she saw the ship they'd be traveling on. It was a small ship, but it was enough for food and a couple of people. The ship was armed with small cannons. It had a locker room where the guns were kept. This ship, in all of it's form, was an exploration ship. As she walked onto the ship she saw Josuke and Okuyasu looking out at the sea. "Oh hey you guys, why are you coming?" The two humans looked back at her and Josuke responded, "Remember, Alphys hasn't fully mastered her stand yet. Plus, we have nothing else better to do than come with you guys." Undyne chuckled happily, "Well I'd probably do the same thing if I was in your guys' shoes."

As she walked away from the two humans she saw another familiar face next to the cannon. As she saw this familiar face she had only one thought in mind, what's Frisk doing here?. The human unknowingly tapped her on the shoulder while she was zoned out. As she got back into focus, she saw the note in her hand and read it. "I'm just coming with you guys because I just want to experience another adventure like I had with you a couple years ago." She looked back at the human, "Well I guess you can come, I've seen you survive some pretty deadly stuff…so" she trailed off. Undyne then walked off and headed to her new bedroom. As usual on any small ship, it was cramped. As she lay there she thought and questioned how she got here. Of course she didn't have anything to do with this, but why did the human come here in the first place? Why did the government of the Underground suddenly reform itself? And why, by coincidental chance, did she get set up with her two best friends? As she was thinking on these things she fell asleep. As she slept she continued to think about this cosmic coincidence, always having dreams of what caused it. On the next night, her thoughts then moved on to why was this reality warp happening? Was this connected to this destined coincidence? She then heard the close voice of Josuke next to her ear, "We're here fishy." She woke up panicking with sweat on her body. "Don't do that to me again. Or I'll shove a spear down your throat."
"Geez Undyne, I was just waking you up."

As she exited the small cramped room, she looked out to her new environment. The sun was completely blocked by clouds. The land's grass was, well, dead. Beyond the brown, grassy valley was a series of mountains. She then looked up to a big rusty green sign that said: Welcome to Equestria.

As they got up out of the boat, the first thing they spotted was a small, abandoned town. While they walked into town they could see the houses had caved in into themselves. Some of them were still standing. Whatever happened to this town must have happened from a natural disaster, this area must have been closed off.

"Ok, let's go search this big house over here" Sans said. The house in particular was the largest house in the neighborhood. It was about three stories while the others were just two stories. As they entered horse skulls were all over the place. So far, this was very weird. On the inside, the building was an office. Just a plain old simple, abandoned office. Meanwhile, Undyne was trying to reactivate a computer to figure out what this dead country was. Sans picked up an old newspaper from the desk. It read:

The end is nigh! Megaspells have rained on Equestria-Mainland and is now heading towards the rest of Equestria.

Whatever a megaspell was it didn't sound pretty. Sans continued to look through the newspaper to see what this world was like. He noticed a common oddity that sparked his interest, this nation was not a humanoid nor monster nation. Rather, the citizens of this nation were in fact, horses. Not just horses, but also unicorns and pegasi. From what he could gather from the newspaper, whatever happened was some sort of resource war with the zebras over coal. Whatever this megaspell thing was, the zebras had mastered it and destroyed most of this civilization on the day the paper was posted. Their anxiety seemed similar with what Sans was dealing with regarding the Sand Dune Republic, complete with sending destructive weapons to each other. It was like looking inside a mirror, one that showed him as a horse. As he looked at the newspaper filled with the revelation of this horse nation existing, Undyne opened the janitor's door and looked horrified at what she saw. Inside were mutilated corpses. One was a unicorn, it's eyes sewed inside her hooves. The other corpses were two unicorns whose horns were melted together into one circle. Undyne was about to close the door, but then the Unicorns whose horns were melted together, started moving and their bloodshot eyes glared at her. Soon all of the corpses started moving and drooling. Josuke saw this and he summoned his stand. The fury of the stand's fist pummeled the zombie unicorns into a puddle of blood and guts. "Well, I never expected to walk into a zombie apocalypse, especially horse zombies!" He said gasping at the horror.

As Frisk pulled out a pistol and started shooting they left the building. Then they heard an angry yell, "Hey fuckheads!" Undyne turned around and saw no other than a group of ponies armed to the teeth and looking at them.
